Following the Week 3 bloodbath, only 642 (5%) of the starting 14,266 entries remain alive. For the third consecutive week, upset madness in the NFL continued as several of the biggest home favorites on the board lost straight-up. 931 entries (24%) picked Deshaun Watson and the Browns to beat the previously winless Giants at home. However, the 7-point underdog G-Men pulled off a stunning 21-15 victory. #CircaSurvivor 2024 🏈🏆 Week 3 Selections 📄 Complete selections: https://t.co/bGqO1GQzx2 pic.twitter.com/GC39pvd4GJ — Circa Sports (@CircaSports) September 22, 2024 USE PROMO CODE: SAVE20 for 20% off our 6-month package and get INSTANT ACCESS to FullTime Fantasy’s Award-Winning fantasy football projections! The massacre did not end there as Las Vegas, who took out 2,304 entries last week when they upset the Ravens, eliminated 515 (13.3%) of the entrants in Week 3 when they lost 36-22 to Andy Dalton and the Panthers as a near touchdown home favorite. Fantasy Football Start ‘Em Sit ‘Em Week 3

Fantasy Football Start ‘Em Sit ‘Em Week 3 Passing and scoring are down significantly after two weeks. Also, injuries have piled up. That common has fantasy managers scrambling. Our Fantasy Football Start ‘Em Sit ‘Em Week 3 will help you make the best decisions to get yourself a crucial victory this week. Subsequently, our Fantasy Football Start ‘Em Sit ‘Em Week 3 will help you navigate that turbulence to pick a winning lineup this week. Additionally, FullTime Fantasy has some of the top tools of the trade and accurate rankings. Quarterbacks Start ‘Em Derek Carr (New Orleans Saints) vs. Philadelphia Derek Carr ranks fourth in fantasy points among quarterbacks, despite being 31st in pass attempts. Carr is on fire, leading the league in both Pro Football Focus’s passing grade and NFL Next Gen Stats’ completion percentage above expectation. Offensive Coordinator Klint Kubiak is pulling out all the stops with heavy use of pre-snap motion and play action, leading the league in both categories. Expect Carr to stay hot this week at home against the Eagles, whose pass defense ranks 25th in DVOA and 24th in fantasy points allowed to quarterbacks. Baker Mayfield (Tampa Bay Buccaneers) vs. Denver Baker Mayfield is off to a red-hot start in 2024, posting QB2 and QB5 finishes in fantasy. He currently leads all quarterbacks in total fantasy points. He’s set up for another big game this Sunday against a Broncos defense that ranks second-to-last in pass defense DVOA. The Buccaneers are projected for 23.25 points, making their offense one of the top-scoring units of the week. Sit ‘Em Dak Prescott (Dallas Cowboys) vs. Baltimore Cowboys fans, brace yourselves! Dak Prescott has struggled in his first two games, failing to top 13 fantasy points or throw for multiple touchdowns. He’s added minimal value with his legs, rushing for just 15 yards so far. He hasn’t been a threat on the ground in years. Now, he faces a Ravens defense that ranks sixth in sack rate and has allowed just two passing touchdowns. Baltimore’s defense even held Patrick Mahomes to 15 fantasy points in Week 1. With Prescott’s early struggles and the tough matchup, it might be time to look elsewhere. Trevor Lawrence (Jacksonville Jaguars) at Buffalo Trevor Lawrence has only thrown one touchdown through two games and hasn’t cracked 14 fantasy points yet. Lawrence is allergic to throwing TDs after only having 21 in 2023. His best passing yardage total is just 220, and in Week 2 he only managed 16 passing yards in the first half. The Bills’ secondary is good, allowing the third-lowest yards per attempt and ninth-lowest pass EPA in the NFL. Given Lawrence’s early-season struggles and the tough matchup, you’re better off finding another quarterback this week. Running Backs Start ‘Em Zack Moss (Cincinnati Bengals) vs. Washington Zack Moss’s fantasy production hasn’t exploded yet, but it’s going to happen. He’s out-touched Chase Brown 21 to seven in carries and five to three in targets. Moss is primed for a breakout in Week 3, as the Bengals are 7.5-point favorites at home against the Commanders, who are getting gashed by RBs. Tony Pollard (Tennessee Titans) vs. Green Bay Tony Pollard is sitting at RB12 so far this season. He’s been a workhorse, ranking in the top 10 for both rushing attempts and targets. Meanwhile, Tyjae Spears is dealing with an injury and missed practice time this week. Pollard will face a Green Bay Packers defense that has given up the seventh-most fantasy points to running backs this season. Sit ‘Em D’Andre Swift (Chicago Bears) at Indianapolis D’Andre Swift’s season is off to a sluggish start, averaging just 2.0 yards per carry, tied for the lowest among backs with at least 20 attempts. He’s been hit behind the line of scrimmage on 37.5% of his runs, the highest rate among backs with that volume. While the Colts have allowed the most rushing yards this season, they’ve also faced the highest number of attempts. With the Colts favored Swift might struggle to turn his opportunities into meaningful fantasy points this week. Najee Harris (Pittsburgh Steelers) vs. Los Angeles Chargers Najee Harris has been the Steelers’ leadback through two games, but his stats are underwhelming. He has yet to score more than 8.9 PPR points, and Jaylen Warren played more snaps than Harris in Week 2. The Chargers haven’t allowed a rushing touchdown yet, and Harris doesn’t figure to see much work in the passing game. Finally, if he doesn’t find the end zone, his fantasy output will be limited. He’s a flex play at best this week. Wide Receivers Start ‘Em Jaxon Smith-Njigba (Seattle Seahawks) vs. Miami After a quiet Week 1, Jaxon Smith-Njigba broke out in Week 2 against the Patriots, hauling in 12 catches for 117 yards on 16 targets. Hopefully, this continues especially with DK Metcalf continuing to dominate. Smith-Njigba enters Week 3 as a potential WR2 against the Dolphins. Look for the Seahawks’ passing attack, led by Geno Smith, to continue leaning on Metcalf and Smith-Njigba. Dionte Johnson (Carolina Panthers) vs. Las Vegas Dionte Johnson’s first two weeks have been rough, with just five catches for 34 yards on 12 targets. However, things could turn around in Week 3 as the Panthers switch to Andy Dalton at quarterback in place of Bryce Young. Facing the Raiders, who have allowed at least one wide receiver to score 14.9 PPR points in every game this season, Johnson could rebound as a WR3 in fantasy lineups this week. If Andy Dalton can even run a functional offense, Johnson can turn his season around. Sit ‘Em Xavier Worthy (Kansas City Chiefs) at Atlanta Xavier Worthy may be the Chiefs’ No. 2 receiver, but he’s only played in under 70% of their snaps and has just two catches along with a single carry in each of the first two games. The Chiefs are 3.5-point favorites this week, and they may opt to run the ball more even without Pacheco. Worthy is also dealing with a

Week 3 Sleepers

Week 3 Sleepers, Potential-Emergent Players, and Opportunistic Plays This article is contributed by Brad Kruse This column is NOT intended to provide Week 3 waiver claims lists. Instead, the purpose is to look at young players whose opportunities could be emerging and should be monitored. I will also look at potential injury replacement players, but I will try to not focus on the obvious choices for this week’s slate of games as that is covered elsewhere on the sight. My goal is to help look around corners for the season which might give some ideas for pre-emptive adds to your roster. Young Running Backs and Their Opportunity Status Braelon Allen: The big story of week 2 concerning these young RBs was Allen’s surprise opportunity. He carried the ball seven times for 33 yards and a TD and added two receptions for 23 yards and another TD. He’s graduated from premium handcuff to a flex or RB2 candidate. He’s officially emerged. Bucky Irving: Through two games, Irving has 16 rush attempts for 84 yards (5.3 yards/carry) and has caught two of his three targets for 14 yards. He will be worked in as White continues to disappoint on the ground (25 carries for 49 yards or 1.96 yards/carry). But Rachaad White continues to excel in the passing game with 7 receptions for 80 yards and a 14% target share). Irving could give you a non-zero number at RB2 right now if you went with a Zero RB strategy, but time will tell if he can eat into White’s passing game usage. Jaylen Wright: There was some hope to see what Wright could do with Mostert OUT in week 2 and Wright active. But it was mostly the Achane show. Wright’s potential emergence will be on HOLD for now. Blake Corum: Corum got some mop-up action this week, but the Rams’ offensive line has been decimated with injuries along with their two-star wide receivers. Barring an injury to Kyren Williams, Corum will be in a holding pattern as well. Tank Bigsby: Bigsby has looked better this year. He did suffer a shoulder injury although he officially returned to the game but didn’t see any action as D’Ernest Johnson took over the RB2 role. We’ll see if Bigsby is healthy enough for week 3. Marshawn Lloyd: Lloyd got on the field, but then injured his ankle and is now on IR. This will keep the door open for Emanuel Wilson who has 9 carries for 55 yards through two games. With the Packers playing run-heavy game scripts with Jordan Love on the mend, Wilson is a name that could be a stopgap for some lineups. Carson Steele: Pacheco is now on IR and talk is he may miss up to six weeks. Samaje Perine could be the better fantasy play as he has been used in passing downs by the Chiefs so far. The Chiefs also signed Kareem Hunt. It’s unclear how much he has in the tank. For now, consider Steele a short yardage back that will get some early down action. He’ll have the highest ceiling of the players that are in the RB room right now, just due to the fact it’s unknown, but it’s also hard to believe they fully trust him in pass protection and two-minute drill situations. Breakout Wide Receivers Jalen McMillan: McMillan was relatively quiet again, but the skillset is there. He’s behind solid veterans in Evans and Godwin and White is used a lot in the passing game so it may take some time for him to emerge, but the talent is there. Adonai Mitchell: Mitchell has a similar problem with McMillan. His offense isn’t generating enough targets for his role. He’ll likely have some boom games but will be tough to trust until Richardson becomes more efficient passing the ball. Malik Washington: Two of Tua’s interceptions seemed to be caused by miscues with WRs not named Hill or Waddle. This would seem to indicate that Washington will have an opportunity when healthy; however, Tua is on IR with a concussion so it’s uncertain when he will return. That will shrink the offense. Jaxon Smith-Njigba: JSN delivered in week 2 catching 12 of 16 targets for 117 yards. He should be a foundational piece of that offense. Alec Pierce: Pierce has been the beneficiary of Anthony Richardson’s tendency for the long passes and inaccuracy in the short range. Pierce as the field stretcher has caught 8 balls in two games resulting in 2 TDs. This trend could stick. Be careful with Josh Downs nearing a return to see how this wide receiver rotation evolves. Ja’Lynn Polk: Polk had a much better week 2 and seems firmly in the receiver rotation. It will probably take a Drake Maye entrance to unlock him as right now the Patriots are trying to win games with their defense and rushing attack. Jordan Whittington: Whittington started seeing more opportunities as Cooper Kupp exited the game injured. Week 3 could give us a sign of life from Whittington, but this Rams unit is banged up. He’s a decent stash to see if something is there. Dontayvion Wicks: He flashed great efficiency as a rookie, then put in a dud in week 1. He did catch a TD in week 2, but the offense is too run-heavy to trust. However, when Love returns Wicks will end up on rosters in every league. Young Tight Ends Brock Bowers: Bowers turned in a 9 rec 98-yard effort and is officially on overall TE1 watch. It is an uphill battle for him to get there. But he’s in everybody’s top-6 TEs right now and has been the most consistent TE scorer so far. Tucker Kraft: Like most Green Bay receiving weapons, Kraft will have to wait until Love returns before he is unlocked. However, he seems to have locked down the TE1 role in Green Bay ENTER OUR WEEK 3 DRAFT CONTEST! How it Works: Firstly, draft your team using our On-Demand Simulator.
Thursday Night Football Preview: Week 3

Thursday Night Football Preview: Week 3 Last week’s AFC East showdown boasted a ton of fantasy potential. Conversely, this New England Patriots vs. New York Jets rivalry game looks less appealing. The FullTime Fantasy Thursday Night Football Preview: Week 3 looks at all the fantasy-relevant players to forecast the game. The Patriots got an upset win on the road in their opener. However, they weren’t able to get much going at home versus Seattle last week. Now traveling on a short week to face a tough Jets’ defense is another obstacle. Meanwhile, New York is coming off of a victory but has mostly struggled to move the ball. The Jets are winning games with an old-school mentality. With the Patriots struggling to pass and produce touchdowns, we are looking at a low-scoring slugfest type of game. New York opened as a touchdown favorite at home. The line dipped by just a half-point. However, the total plummeted down to 39 after opening at 42.5. Matchup TEAM OFFENSE PASS RUSH YDS/PLAY POINTS New England Patriots 20 29 5 25 20 New York Jets 27 22 26 20 15 The raw data backs up that low total. Other than the Patriots doing an excellent job rushing the ball, neither of these squads stand out on offense. Offensive line play is a reason why. New England’s front five has the fourth-lowest pass-blocking grade per PFF. And despite the success running the ball, the Patriots only rank 26th in run-blocking. Conversely, the Jets rank 10th in run-blocking and 24th in pass protection. Only the Ravens have allowed fewer rushing yards than the Patriots. Points will be at a premium in this one. New England Offense Through two games, Jacoby Brissett ranks 29th in fantasy points. He has been held under 150 passing yards in both games. Additionally, Brissett doesn’t add much value with his legs. Facing a Jets defense that ranks ninth in limiting fantasy points to quarterbacks is a daunting task. Brissett is +850 to rush for a touchdown. Also, his passing/rushing yards total of 181.5 hampers the entire New England passing attack. This is not an offense to target. However, the ground game looks solid. Rhamondre Stevenson ranks eighth in fantasy points. Stevenson is top-5 in carries and rushing yards and ranks sixth with a 75.6% snap share. Facing a Jets’ defense that ranks 24th against the run puts Stevenson in a solid position to approach RB1 numbers. Don’t overreact to Antonio Gibson’s Week 2 performance. Gibson played just 16 snaps. He may have earned more playing time moving forward. However, until he gets more consistent snaps, Gibson is little more than a fledgling flex option in deep leagues. New England doesn’t throw enough to their receivers to warrant redraft attention. No Patriots’ wideout is projected to top 22 yards. Ja’Lynn Polk leads the group in fantasy points. But Polk’s 10.8 fantasy points ranks 69th at the position. K.J. Osborn leads the receiving corps in snap share (68.4%) and has a solid 17% snap share. However, Osborn has only accumulated four grabs for 28 yards in two games. Demario Douglas will man the slot but has only caught two balls for 12 yards. The only Patriot pass-catcher worth targeting is TE Hunter Henry. Henry is coming off a robust 8/109/0 line on 12 targets vs. Seattle. However, this week’s matchup is tougher. The Jets held George Kittle to 40 yards and will undoubtedly make stopping Henry a priority. Henry’s receiving line total of 31.5 for this game is concerning. New York Offense Aaron Rodgers enters this game ranked 21st in fantasy points. He is relying on quick/short throws, resulting in a career-low 6.8 ADOT. Meanwhile, the Patriots have only allowed one touchdown pass. However, that came last week when Geno Smith looked fine throwing for 327 yards. Rodgers no longer runs and his passing over/under for this contest is 214 yards. Only the Texans and Ravens have allowed fewer rushing yards to running backs than New England. Still, Breece Hall is tied for the position lead with 14 targets and ranks fourth in fantasy points. The last time he faced this defense, Hall turned 39 touches into 190 yards and a score. Braelon Allen made the most of his 20 snaps last week. However, he’ll find the going tougher against a Patriots’ defense that ranks 10th against running backs. Allen should be viewed as a high-risk DFS option in single-game slates. WR Garrett Wilson has disappointed. The volume has not been there and Wilson ranks just 34th in fantasy points. However, the Patriots just got worked over by Seattle. They’ve surrendered the fifth-most fantasy points to wideouts. Wilson will see plenty of Christian Gonzales in coverage, but his +145 TD odds and receiving line of 5.5/66.5 look good. Mike Williams was up to 37 snaps in Week 2. However, Williams is still recovering from last year’s knee injury. He’s little more than a boom-or-bust DFS flier for now. Williams has a yardage prop of 23.5 yards and is +490 to score. Allen Lazard fell off after his explosive showing in the opener. Lazard’s TD and yardage odds are higher than Williams’s, indicating that he is considered New York’s No. 2. TE Tyler Conklin is playing 93% of snaps but has little production to show for all the playing time. Conklin has garnered just four targets and is averaging fewer fantasy points per game than Andrew Ogletree and MyCole Pruitt. Prediction & Best Bet Easy W taking the Bills last week. Buffalo has dominated the Dolphins. However, this matchup is tougher. In January, the Jets finally ended a 15-game losing streak to the Patriots with a 17-3 victory at Foxborough. The last time New York beat New England at home was in December 2015. As one-sided as this rivalry has been, the Jets have failed to cover in six of their last seven. However, none of those games were with Aaron Rodgers under center. Having a credible signal-caller makes a huge difference. Meanwhile,

Isiah Pacheco (RB) Kansas City Chiefs – A huge blow for the defending champs and fantasy managers everywhere, Isiah Pacheco fractured his fibula and will miss “months not weeks” of action. Carson Steele is the next man up for the Chiefs, who are also bringing in fading veteran Kareem Hunt for a potential reunion. However, none of those options can approach Pacheco’s value. Chiefs RB Isiah Pacheco to undergo surgery this week on fractured fibula, will miss at least six weeks. (via @RapSheet) pic.twitter.com/aMAyv6upd1 — NFL (@NFL) September 16, 2024 Cooper Kupp (WR) Los Angeles Rams – A left ankle injury will sideline Kupp for multiple weeks. This is another devastating blow for the Rams, who are being ravaged by injuries. Check out Week 3 waiver wire recommendations for how to deal with the absence of Kupp and Puka Nacua. Rams HC Sean McVay said Cooper Kupp is expected to miss “an extended period of time” and is a candidate for injured reserve. — Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) September 16, 2024 Tua Tagovailoa (QB) Miami Dolphins – Another concussion will sideline Miami’s signal caller for the foreseeable future. Tagovailoa will see neurologists this week. Therefore, fantasy managers should look for other options and only hold Tagovailoa in Superflex leagues that can spare a roster spot. Ultimately, IR is still an option. Deebo Samuel (WR) San Francisco 49ers – Samuel is expected will miss multiple weeks with a calf injury. Amon-Ra St. Brown (WR) Detroit Lions – St. Brown is dealing with a contusion but Dan Campbell indicated it was not a long-term injury. We will monitor his practice participation this week. Justin Jefferson (WR) Minnesota Vikings – Like ARSB, Justin Jefferson is dealing with a minor quad contusion. We don’t anticipate it having any lingering effects for this week’s showdown with the Texans. A.J. Brown (WR) Philadelphia Eagles – Brown injured his hamstring in practice and was forced to miss Philly’s Monday Night loss to Atlanta. Unfortunately, this won’t be the only game Brown will sit. Expect a big boost in targets for DeVonta Smith and TE Dallas Goedert. Eagles WR AJ Brown told ESPN’s @saltersl that he does expect to miss a couple of weeks due to the hamstring injury he suffered Friday. — Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) September 17, 2024 Evan Engram (TE) Jacksonville Jaguars – We were able to quickly update the FullTime Fantasy Discord channel on Sunday when Engram injured his hamstring in pre-game drills and was ruled out. Hamstring injuries tend to linger when not given complete time to heal, so we anticipate Engram missing Week 3. We’ll continue to update the Discord if anything changes. Joe Mixon (RB) Houston Texans – A hip-drop tackle caused Mixon to roll his ankle. He left the game but later returned to action. For now, we’ll have to monitor his practice participation throughout the week. Cam Akers would be the reserve to target on waivers. #Texans veteran running back Joe Mixon ankle injury not considered long term or serious, per league sources. Dameon Pierce making fast progress from minor strained hamstring, per source. And safety M.J. Stewart close to returning from knee-quad injury, per sources @KPRC2 — Aaron Wilson (@AaronWilson_NFL) September 17, 2024 Rachaad White (RB) Tampa Bay Buccaneers – White is dealing with a groin injury but was able to play through it on Sunday. Expect him to have limited practice reps this week but he’s expected to be fine for Week 3. Justin Herbert (QB) Los Angeles Chargers – X-rays were negative on Herbert’s leg. Herbert played through the injury, so it doesn’t appear to be an issue. Just something to monitor. Keenan Allen (WR) Chicago Bears – Plantar fasciitis kept Allen out of action last week and could linger for multiple games. Subsequently, Allen looks like an iffy proposition for Week 3. Pierre Strong (RB) Cleveland Browns – Week-to-week with a hamstring injury. Fire up D’Onta Foreman. Tyjae Spears (RB) Tennessee Titans – Spears is dealing with a minor ankle ailment. For now, it doesn’t seem like much of a concern. Jake Ferguson (TE) Dallas Cowboys – Ferguson sat out last week with a knee injury. However, there is growing optimism that he’ll return in Week 3. MarShawn Lloyd (RB) Green Bay Packers – A lingering ankle injury has caused Lloyd to be placed on IR. He will miss four games, minimum. David Bell (WR) Cleveland Browns – A dislocated hip will end Bell’s season. ENTER OUR WEEK 3 DRAFT CONTEST! How it Works: Firstly, draft your team using our On-Demand Simulator. FFWC High-Stakes Recap: Week 3

Week Three, of the 2023 Fulltime Fantasy Football season, is now complete. Changes were plentiful, during a very high scoring week, and new weekly season-high scores were set across all four of our tournaments. FFWC XI World Championship Tournament In the race to the $150K Grand Prize, the FFWC XI World Championship Top 20 Leaderboard is populated by ten new teams this week. William Meyer’s squad finished the week with 172.15 points. On the bright side, Team Meyer posted the second-highest point total in his FFWC Online 9/9 1 PM ET league and now owns an 88.40-point overall lead. Rounding out the Top 5, and earning our “Shout Out of the Week” Fairways & Greens WC VI made a huge move from 88th to fifth place overall. Curtis Hirsch (FFWC Online 9/2 1 PM ET) piled up 229.85 points. That sets a new FFWC XI single-week high score, as the previous high was 219.85 points. Following the first week of head-to-head action, 89 of the 600 FFWC XI teams sit with a perfect 3-0-0 record. Joining the LVFC Top 20, Trash Pandas (Circa LVFC Top Golf 9/8 7 PM PT) moved from 31st to second overall.
