FFWC High-Stakes Recap: Week 10

FFWC XI

Week 10 of the FullTime Fantasy Football regular season is now complete. Despite several high-scoring teams being on a BYE, scoring was up from the season-low numbers posted last week. With just four playoff qualifying weeks remaining, here is a look at the Top 20 Leaderboards across the four Major FFWC XI Tournaments in the FFWC High-Stakes Recap: Week 10. Fantasy Football World Championship Rebounding, from the low numbers posted last week, scoring was up during Week 10 in the race to claim the $150K FFWC XI Grand Prize. After just 76,963.00 points were scored last week, the total jumped to 84,480.50 combined points this week. Seven new teams joined the FTF World Championship Top 20 Leaderboard.  Continuing a long run at the top, Just(in) Time (7-3) is the FFWC XI overall leader for the ninth straight week. Led by WR Keenan Allen (40.50), QB Justin Herbert (32.65), and TE T.J. Hockenson (30.40), Simeon Yarbrough and Brian Marzorini posted 186.35 points. That was the 26th-highest total during FFWC XI Week 10 action. Just(in) Time increased their overall lead from 13.25 to 37.40 points.  Team Honeycutt retained second place overall for a second straight week. Consistent with his 166.43 season average, Steve Honeycutt‘s FFWC Online 8/22 9 PM ET team scored 162.20 points. Along with Keenan Allen’s big day, Texans QB C.J. Stroud (27.60) continues as a leader on Steve’s squad. Battling for a $10K Dominator position, Team Honeycutt’s league lead is 181.10 points. In an epic showdown, of teams tied with a 9-1 record, Team Honeycutt battles Team Meyer in a H2H league match this week. Also holding steady, Zefurs (9-1) maintained third overall for a second straight week. Another team with Allen and Stroud, plus WR Noah Brown (24.2), KJ Duke’s FFWC 9/3 9 PM ET squad posted 174.0 points. That’s an impressive total considering WR A.J. Brown was on a BYE, plus RB Travis Etienne (6.4) and TE Sam LaPorta (8.0) both posted below-average points. With four weeks to go, KJ remains in a $10K Dominator position. Entering the Top 5, for the first time this season, Team Miss New Booty VIII moved from sixth to fourth overall. Oliver Dawoud’s squad is 10-0 thanks to a razor-thin 188.75-187.90 H2H victory over Team LOB (7-3) in the FFWC Online 8/26 9 PM ET league. Led by CeeDee Lamb (39.5), plus a 23.1-point outburst by RB Devin Singletary, rookie TE Dalton Kincaid sealed the weekly win with 16.1 points during the MNF contest. With a three-game lead in the standings, plus a 58.70 total points lead, Oliver controls his Dominator destiny. Slipping one position, from fourth to fifth overall, Zefurs II rounds out the top five. In another competitive H2H battle, KJ Duke’s FFWC Online 9/3 1 PM ET team lost 179.55-174.15 during Week 10 action. Greg Salter’s Big Daddy Four squad won that contest thanks in part to Russell Wilson (20.85) hanging with Josh Allen (20.15) during the MNF match. If the playoffs started today, Zefurs II would be just 4.88 points out of first overall. Our FFWC XI “Shout Out of the Week” goes to Cee Deez Tdz (7-3) who posted a FFWC Week 10 high 220.45 points. That’s the 14th-highest FFWC XI single-week total this season. Doug Haney’s FFWC TommyG Mayhem squad moved from 80th to 21st overall. Within his league, Doug moved into a tie for first in the standings, with Team Sanaynay (7-3), and he has a 94.30 lead in the points race. After no one scored 200 or more points last week, ten teams reached that plateau during Week 10 action. That includes Angel’s Envy (202.45) who moved from 15th to 7th overall, and Fantasyportfolio.win 3 (203.30) who jumped from 17th to 8th place. If the playoffs started this week, just 20.69 points would separate the top 100 FFWC XI scoring teams. Losing two more members, the undefeated club dropped from five to just three teams. Miss New Booty VII (4th), Angel’s Envy (7th), and Team Stanton (53rd) are still perfect with a 10-0 record. All three teams currently hold a $10K Dominator position in their league. Circa Las Vegas Fantasy Championship Our inaugural FullTime Fantasy Circa LVFC Tournament experienced its largest shift in the Top 5 standings so far this season. Scoring rebounded, as the group total went from 134,042.00 last week to 147443.70 points during Week 10 action. Four new teams entered the Top 20 Leaderboard and the top two teams both made a big move. After going unchanged, during the past three weeks, we have a new leader in the LVFC most points race. Moving up eight spots, Mr Yellow Stickers 1 (9-1) jumped from ninth to first overall. Selected early during the 2023 FTF draft season, way back on June 8, Mike Schlissberg’s squad piled up 227.30 points. That’s the second most points scored during LVFC Week 10 action. It’s also the 22nd-highest single-week total this season. QB Dak Prescott (42.9), WR Keenan Allen (40.50), and TE T.J. Hockenson (30.40) led the way for Mike. Also making a big move, The Great Gatsby 18 jumped from 11th to second overall. Ray Cowart’s Circa LVFC GrindTime #3 squad racked up 211.60 points, which was the eighth-highest Week 10 total. WR Keenan Allen, WR CeeDee Lamb (39.5), plus and big surge by WR Brandin Cooks (32.30) who posted a season-high total, scored 112.30 combined points. After sitting 131.95 points off the pace, back in Week 5, Ray’s squad is now just 21.60 points out of first overall. Continuing to grind consistently, scoring between 166.15 and 193.00 points during eight of the first ten weeks, Team Mitchell 2 remains in third place for a third straight week. Mark’s Circa LVFC 7/15 squad posted 178.05 points. Another team led by WR Keenan Allen, Mark received double-digit scoring from eight of his eleven starters. Team Mitchell 2 moved to 10-0 on the season and went from 34.35 to 25.50 points out of first place. Shorthanded, with QB Jalen Hurts, WR A.J. Brown, and TE

Week 10 DFS: Wide Receiver Report

The theme for last week in the DFS market was the Houston Texans’ passing game, highlighted by the success of Tank Dell (6/116/2 – 1st) and Noah Brown (6/153/1 – 3rd). CeeDee Lamb (11/191) finished second, giving him explosive stats (23/349/2 on 30 targets) over the past two weeks. Three other wideouts (Amari Cooper – 24.90, Stefon Diggs – 22.60, and Diontae Johnson – 22.00) scored more than 20.00 fantasy points. Here are the top five wide receivers by scoring average in PPR formats after nine weeks:

  • Tyreek Hill (25.03)
  • A.J. Brown (22.61)
  • Stefon Diggs (21.82)
  • Keenan Allen (20.63)
  • CeeDee Lamb (19.96)

Also, before we get into the Week 9 DFS: Wide Receiver Report, check out the QB Report, RB Report, and TE Report.

Top Tier Options

Keenan Allen, LAC (DK – $8,800/FD – $9,000)

Since posting two impact games in Week 2 (8/111/2) and Week 3 (18/215), Allen averaged 14.76 fantasy points (30/318/2 on 44 targets). He remains on an elite pace (132/1,530/9 on 176 targets). The Chargers’ wideout had 66 catches for 768 yards and four touchdowns on 88 targets over the first three games, followed by 60 catches for 744 yards and two touchdowns on 95 targets over their last five matchups.

The Lions rank 14th vs. wide receivers (98/1,174/7 on 163 targets). Seattle (20/171/2), GB (15/210/1), and CAR (19/197/2) had the most success. Wideouts have a low catch rate (60.1) while gaining 12.0 yards per catch. CB Brian Branch (17/133/3 on 24 targets – per PFF) allows short yards per catch (7.8).

Allen has the edge in experience in his WR/CB matchup, and he is the Chargers’ top target by a wide margin. His salary requires more than 34.00 fantasy points, so Allen needs a high-scoring game with multiple touchdowns to be viable in Week 10. I view him as overpriced, and Los Angeles hasn’t shown the passing for him pay off in this matchup.

Ja’Marr Chase, CIN (DK – $8,600/FD – $9,300)

The Bills held Chase to four catches for 41 yards on eight targets while playing through a back issue after landing awkwardly on an incomplete pass. Cincinnati lists him as questionable for this week’s game. He was on the field for 90% of their snaps last week, suggesting that Chase should play on Sunday. His best value this year came in Week 3 (12/141), Week 5 (15/192/3), and Week 8 (10/100/1). Over his other five starts (5/39, 5/31, 7/73, 6/80, and 4/41), he failed to score more than 15.00 fantasy points.

Houston has the fourth-best…

Week 10 DFS: Running Back Report

The top-tier running backs were a major disappointment last week, partly due to the top two options (Christian McCaffrey and Travis Etienne) being on a bye. Alvin Kamara (11.00), Breece Hall (10.00), and DeAndre Swift (9.4) fell short of expectations in fantasy points. Rachaad White took advantage of his favorable matchup to post his best outing (20/73/2 and 4/46) of his young career. Only four other backs (Rhamondre Stevenson – 22.90, Josh Jacobs – 21.80, Austin Ekeler – 21.00, and Keaton Mitchell – 20.80) scored more than 20.00 fantasy points. Here are the top five running backs by scoring average in PPR formats after nine weeks:

  • Christian McCaffrey (25.30)
  • Travis Etienne (20.49)
  • Raheem Mostert (19.07)
  • Derrick Henry (15.34)
  • Josh Jacobs (14.56)

Gus Edwards has been the top-scoring back over the last three weeks (21.40, 29.40, and 17.20).

Also, check out FullTime Fantasy‘s Week 9 DFS QB Report and TE Report.

Elite Options

Christian McCaffrey, SF (DK – $9,200/FD – $10,500)

For any daily gamer starting their roster with McCaffrey, they tied up 18.4% of the salary at DraftKings and 17.5% at FanDuel. He averages 26.43 and 23.05 fantasy points at those sites, giving him a floor of 2.87X and 2.19X if McCaffrey hits his scoring average. His only impact game (48.70 fantasy points) came in Week 4 vs. the Cardinals at home. He scored at least 22.50 fantasy points in five other matchups, with his second-highest output (29.80) coming in Week 8.

McCaffrey gains his edge by scoring touchdowns (13 over eight games). He reached paydirt in 17 consecutive contests. Over his last two starts, the 49ers had him on the field for 98.2% of their snaps.

The Jaguars are about league average in running back defense (15th – 19.68 FPPG), with their down games in fantasy points allowed coming in Week 6 (29.40) and Week 7 (30.70). Over the last three games, running backs have been productive in catches (1IND – 11/84, NO – 12/91, and PIT – 9/61) while receiving 38 combined targets. Jacksonville allowed 3.6 yards per rush (16.9 attempts per game by running backs). No team has scored more than one rushing touchdown in a game (four total by running backs).

For McCaffrey to pay off in Week 10, the Jaguars’ defense would have to have their worst day of the season. Also, the 49ers’ top back would have to score almost all of the team’s fantasy points. On the positive side, he could have his best day catching the ball based on the direction of Jacksonville’s defense in this area over the past three weeks. McCaffrey has the highest floor in the game while forcing a DFS player to be creative when filling out the backend of their roster.

Week 10 NFL Player Props

FullTime Fantasy Members are getting their money’s worth if they’ve been following this column since the beginning of the season. Despite one week with a losing record, we had been profitable every single week we released prop bets to target. That trend continued in Week 9 when we went 4-2 (+1.7 Units). We are now 28-20 (+10.2 Units) on the 2023 season.

As always, I will be listing my seven favorite player props as we prepare for Week 10’s slate of NFL action. Last week, I recommended the Dameon Pierce under. But because he was ruled out, that bet was void. We would have gone 5-1 if not for Patrick Mahomes’ last-minute kneeldowns that lost him a few critical rushing yards. This week, we’ll be sure to target seven healthy players and look to continue our hot streak!

Fantasy football managers have an edge when it comes to prop betting. That is because we are so in tune with individual player performances. As always, remember to odds shop at your different sportsbooks to find the best values for the prop bets listed below. Now, let’s get down to business and find the best Week 10 NFL player props to continue our profitable sports betting season.

C.J. Stroud OVER 1.5 Passing Touchdowns (+120)

After last week’s epic five-touchdown performance, Stroud throwing two touchdown passes at plus odds seems like a slam dunk. Especially against Cincinnati’s 22nd-ranked defense against opposing quarterbacks. Although Stroud has much better splits in Houston versus the road, the Texans are going to have to air it out to keep up with Joe Burrow and the Bengals. Stroud won’t repeat his earth-shattering performance of Week 9. But I like his chances of finding the end zone twice on Sunday.

Houston’s rushing game has been abysmal with Dameon Pierce and Devin Singletary, so it wouldn’t be a shock to see the Texans rely on the young rookie yet again. Even without Nico Collins, Stroud still has Dalton Schultz, Tank Dell, Noah Brown, and even Robert Woods returned to practice this week.

And although Stroud has struggled on the road, he’s returning to the same neck of the woods where he played his college ball. This isn’t the same type of road game he’s played previously in the NFL. He’ll have tons of support from Ohio State alumni in Cincinnati. Given the odds, the expected game flow, and Stroud’s recent success, slam the over.

Lamar Jackson…

Fantasy Football Matchup Analyzer: Week 10

brock purdy

Hard to believe we are already at Week 10 of the 2023 season. That means the fantasy playoffs are now just one month away. Subsequently, winning these upcoming games is crucial for clinching a spot in the postseason tournament. FullTime Fantasy‘s exclusive Fantasy Football Matchup Analyzer: Week 10 tool shows you which players have favorable upcoming schedules. These are the players you want to target in trades. Also, this tool can help break ties in players who are closely matched in our weekly fantasy football rankings. Quarterbacks  Brock Purdy (San Francisco 49ers) – This is the ideal time to buy low on Purdy. San Francisco took a three-game losing streak into their Week 9 bye. However, three out of their next four come against teams ranked in the bottom 10 in terms of surrendering fantasy points to quarterbacks. C.J. Stroud (Houston Texans) – Stroud gets a tough task in Week 10 trying to follow up his historic Week 9 outing. But the next three games look appealing, taking on the Cardinals, Jaguars, and Broncos. Also, those three games all occur at NRG Stadium, where Stroud has played exceptionally well. Bryce Young (Carolina Panthers) – Week 10 was another dud in Chicago. Also, next week looks challenging traveling to Dallas. However, things ease up after that. Young still has games against the Buccaneers, Falcons, and Jaguars left on the schedule. All bottom 10 squads versus the pass. Running Backs  Dameon Pierce & Devin Singletary (Houston Texans) – The Texans also have a favorable slate for the backfield. However, the Texans rank just 27th in rushing. Perhaps the upcoming schedule that features two of the NFL’s three worst run defenses will turn that around. Pierce is hurt and Singletary did very little with his 15 touches last week. Subsequently, this is a good ‘buy low’ opportunity. Tony Pollard (Dallas Cowboys) – Pollard has been a disappointment, but redemption starts this week. Pollard lit up New York in Week 1 to the tune of 82 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Now, the Giants are down to their third quarterback and the Cowboys are massive home favorites in Week 10. Additionally, the Commanders rank 31st in run defense, and both Seattle and Washington are below average. Rachaad White (Tampa Bay Buccaneers) – White now ranks fourth among all running backs with a 78.1% snap share. That kind of massive volume puts him on the RB1 radar for the next month. White has caught 33 of the 34 targets he’s seen this season. That 97% catch rate leads the NFL. FullTime Fantasy Members have seen over a 60% increase in their playoff appearances over the past three seasons. Get weekly access to this Fantasy Matchup Analyzer and find out which unheralded signal-caller has top-10 upside in Week 10 by signing up TODAY!  Wide Receivers  Brandon Aiyuk & Deebo Samuel (San Francisco 49ers) – Hopefully, the week off gave San Francisco’s offense a chance to refresh and reset. Samuel is now healthy and poised to re-enter the WR2 conversation beginning with this week’s trip to Jacksonville to take on a Jaguars’ secondary yielding the 12th-most fantasy points to opposing wideouts. Also, Aiyuk has topped 50 yards in six of seven games this season- a figure he should blow by weekly with the upcoming soft schedule. Adam Thielen (Carolina Panthers) – Another quiet outing in Chicago opens up a good trade window for Thielen. After topping double-digit fantasy points in six straight, Thielen has been held under 50 yards in back-to-back games. However, things look promising in Weeks 11 and 12 facing two bottom 10 secondaries. DeAndre Hopkins (Tennessee Titans) – One of the opponents Thielen faces also has an appealing schedule. DeAndre Hopkins has absorbed 17 targets in two games with Will Levis under center. Now that Levis has been named Tennssee’s starter, D-Hop should continue to feast on a schedule that looks very tempting starting this week in Tampa. Tight Ends  George Kittle (San Francisco 49ers) – Kittle has been erratic, with two massive 20-plus point games and three under five points. If the Kittle manager in your league is tired of dealing with those swings, put out a trade offer. The 49ers are about to get healthy in a hurry. And the schedule for Kittle is indicative of a player who is about to post top-5 production down the stretch. Dalton Schultz (Houston Texans) – The absence of Robert Woods has benefitted Schultz, who is fantasy’s TE2 with 16.8 fantasy points per game over Houston’s last four contests. Schultz has built a rapport with C.J. Stroud and that connection will remain strong over the next four games. Only the Texans themselves have ceded more fantasy points to tight ends than the Bengals and Broncos. Chigoziem Okonkwo (Tennesee Titans) – In addition to three games against four upcoming opponents who rank in the bottom 11 in fantasy points allowed to tight ends, Okonkwo gets to feast on Houston’s league-worst TE defense ENTER OUR WEEK 10 DRAFT CONTEST! Week 10 DFS: Tight End Report Last week, six tight ends scored more than 20.00 fantasy points, led by Dalton Schultz (10/130/1). Cade Otton (24.00) finished second, followed by Cole Kmet (23.50). The best tight end over the past three

Week 10 DFS: Tight End Report

Last week, six tight ends scored more than 20.00 fantasy points, led by Dalton Schultz (10/130/1). Cade Otton (24.00) finished second, followed by Cole Kmet (23.50). The best tight end over the past three weeks has been Taysom Hill (20.12 FPPG). Here are the top five players by scoring average after nine weeks in PPR formats:

  • Travis Kelce (15.63)
  • T.J. Hockenson (14.63)
  • Mark Andrews (13.86)
  • Sam LaPorta (13.80)
  • Cole Kmet (12.06)

Here are the top plays this week via the Week 8 DFS: Tight End Report. Also, check out the Week 10 DFS: QB Report.

Top Tier Options

Mark Andrews, BAL (DK – $6,900/FD – $7,300)

Even in a blowout game against the Seahawks, Andrews caught a season-high nine passes for 80 yards on 10 targets. He averaged 16.95 fantasy points in PPR formats over his last six starts, highlighted by two winning outputs (25.00 and 22.30). On the downside, Andrews averaged only 6.9 targets. His best game (5/80/2) came in Week 4 vs. the Browns.

Cleveland has the best tight end defense (19/155/2 on 28 targets). They held seven opponents to fewer than 6.00 fantasy points (CIN – 3/17, PIT – 1/2, TEN – 3/7, SF – 1/1, IND – 1/-6, SEA – 2/32, and ARI – 3/22). The Browns played well defensively in three games (3, 3, and 0 points allowed) while showing much more weakness on the road (88 points over three matchups). They have 26 sacks, requiring the tight end to help in pass protection on some plays.

The Ravens’ offense has been exceptional over their last three games (106 points), leading to 13 touchdowns and five field goals over 34 possessions. Baltimore runs the ball well, especially in scoring (15 touchdowns). Andrews will have some chances at the goal line, but he needs a wide open game to fill his salary bucket. Not ideal for his salary, but I can’t dismiss him.

George Kittle, SF (DK – $6,1000/FD – $6,300)

A chaser game in Week 8 led to Kittle setting season-highs in catches (9), receiving yards (149), and targets (11), lifting him to sixth in tight end scoring (94.50 fantasy points). Over eight starts, he has been a losing investment in four matchups (3/19, 3/30, 1/9, and 1/1) while receiving 12 combined targets in those games. His best three days came at home (7/90, 3/67/3, and 9/149). The injury to Deebo Samuel bumped up his value over the two previous weeks.

The Jaguars rank 25th…

Fantasy Football Start ‘Em Sit ‘Em Week 10

Fantasy Football Start ‘Em Sit ‘Em Week 10 It is hard to believe that we already in double-digit weeks. The fantasy football playoffs are just a month away. The best way to increase your odds of getting there is to know the top Fantasy Football Start ‘Em Sit ‘Em Week 10 options. FullTime Fantasy has you covered, along with some of the top tools of the trade and accurate rankings. Week 10 Byes: Kansas City, Los Angeles Rams, Miami, Philadelphia Quarterbacks  Start ‘Em Geno Smith (Seattle Seahawks) vs. Washington Flat out, Geno has not been good this season. Smith has surpassed 16 points only once all year. However, given the upcoming matchup, there’s a possibility for his best game of the season in Week 10. Also, the Commanders have allowed the third-highest passing yards throughout the year and the most since Week 5. Additionally, they’ve given up the most passing touchdowns in that period and rank third in fantasy points per game allowed to quarterbacks . Despite Smith’s recent struggles, the Seahawks still boast a roster with plenty of skilled pass-catchers. That presents an opportunity for him to capitalize on this favorable matchup. Baker Mayfield (Tampa Bay Buccaneers) vs. Tennessee Baker Mayfield managed to score 23 fantasy points in a shootout with the Texans. That marked the fifth time in eight games that he’s reached at least 20 points this season. While the Titans have limited opposing quarterbacks, with only two surpassing 19.1 fantasy points, Mayfield should deliver another solid stat line in this matchup. The Buccaneers’ recent defensive struggles and uncertainties in their ground game contribute to the expectation of a potential shootout. Despite the modest 39.5 over/under for this game, it feels like there is some shootout potential. And that would favor Mayfield and the home team. Sit ‘Em Russell Wilson (Denver Broncos) at Buffalo Despite Russell Wilson ranking 13th in fantasy points, Week 10 may not be the best time to start him. Facing the Buffalo Bills, who have allowed the third-fewest fantasy points to quarterbacks, Wilson’s inconsistency, with half of his games as a top-12 fantasy quarterback, raises concerns. Also, Buffalo’s clear favoritism and Denver’s tendency to run more when playing from behind or tied further diminish Wilson’s potential in this matchup. Trevor Lawrence (Jacksonville Jaguars) vs. San Francisco Trevor Lawrence, having a decent season, has struggled to translate it into fantasy points. He’s averaging 17.4 Fantasy points per game. That is far below the top-5 status that many projected for the third-year signal caller. Also, despite facing a 49ers’ defense that has shown vulnerabilities in recent games, Lawrence’s track record this year suggests a limited ceiling. Starting T- Law in one-quarterback leagues may be a tough decision, considering the uncertainty of a smash game. Running Backs Start ‘Em Javonte Williams (Denver Broncos) at Buffalo Returning as Denver’s primary running back in Week 8 before the bye, Javonte Williams showcased a strong performance. He played 45 offensive snaps, his third-highest in a game. Carrying the ball 27 times for 85 yards, Williams has consistently received double-digit carries in every healthy game. And that’s been irrespective of the game script. Facing the Buffalo Bills, who possess a below-average run defense, Williams has an opportunity to exploit their vulnerabilities. Buffalo has allowed over 90 rushing yards to four different running backs and surrendered the third-most receiving yards to running backs, making Williams a potential dual-threat option. James Cook (Buffalo Bills) vs. Denver Despite a limited workload in the previous week, James Cook remains the lead back for the Bills. While concerns arise from his recent single-digit fantasy performances and the emergence of Leonard Fournette, Cook deserves another chance, especially given the favorable matchup against the Broncos in Week 10. Denver has allowed the most fantasy points per game to running backs, including high rankings in rushing yards, yards per carry, and rushing touchdowns. Additionally, they are among the top teams in receptions, receiving yards, and receiving touchdowns allowed to running backs. Considering the bye weeks and the opponent, Cook is a crucial player to consider starting this week. Sit ‘Em Gus Edwards (Baltimore Ravens) vs. Cleveland While Gus Edwards has delivered fantasy success in recent weeks, with at least 17 fantasy points in three straight games, caution is advised in Week 10. Dependent on touchdowns, Edwards has not surpassed seven fantasy points in a game without a touchdown this season. However, facing the Browns, who have allowed just two rushing touchdowns to running backs, Edwards’ usage and touchdown dependency, coupled with the challenging matchup, make him a risky start. Jerome Ford (Cleveland Browns) at Baltimore  If you couldn’t tell I am off this Browns/Ravens game. Jerome Ford’s previous encounter with the Baltimore defense resulted in a rough performance, managing only nine carries for 26 yards and five catches for 19 yards on six targets. Despite Deshaun Watson’s return, the loss of standout left tackle Jedrick Wills and a difficult matchup against the Ravens raise concerns for Ford. Also, sharing workload with Kareem Hunt further diminishes Ford’s fantasy outlook, positioning both running backs as flex options at best in Week 10. At just 43.5 points, this AFC rivalry has the lowest over/under for Week 10. That makes it a game to avoid, if at all possible. Wide Receivers Start ‘Em Nathaniel “Tank” Dell (Houston Texans) at Cincinnati Tank Dell has showcased a mix of excellent and subpar performances this season. In his successful outings, he has been targeted at least seven times, catching at least five passes for over 70 yards and a touchdown. However, in less favorable situations, he has been limited to four or fewer targets with no touchdowns. Dell’s performance is closely tied to the number of routes he runs, excelling when running more routes and facing man coverage. With a favorable matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals, who have the third-lowest team coverage grade this season, Dell is poised for success. Despite facing man coverage on only 29 routes, he averages an impressive 3.48 yards per route run.

Week 10 NFL Quarterback Report

The winning tickets in Week 9 were cashed by the DFS teams using a C.J. Stroud (46.50 fantasy points) and a Houston Texans’ receiving stack. He gained 480 yards with five touchdowns and a two-point conversion. Dak Prescott finished second in quarterback scoring (32.10), one notch higher than Week 8 despite the identical total in fantasy points. Joshua Dobbs (28.50) came off the bench to post the third-best output for the week. 10 quarterbacks scored at least 10 fantasy points. Here are the top five quarterbacks by scoring average after nine weeks:

  • Josh Allen (30.18)
  • Jalen Hurts (29.18)
  • C.J. Stroud (25.98)
  • Patrick Mahomes (22.88)
  • Justin Herbert (22.64)

Using our Week 10 Fantasy Football Rankings, let’s break down this week’s field in the FullTime Fantasy Week 10 NFL Quarterback Report.

Top Tier Options

Lamar Jackson, BAL (DK – $8,000/FD – $8,300)

The top end of the quarterback pool in Week 10 is weaker due to Jalen Hurts, Patrick Mahomes, and Tua Tagovailoa being on a bye week. In addition, Josh Allen plays on Monday night. Jackson has the highest salary on the main slate on Sunday while ranking seventh in quarterback scoring. He comes off two dull games (13.55 and 14.35) in fantasy points, coming after an explosive showing (393/4) vs. the Lions at home in Week 7. In his first matchup vs. the Browns, Jackson had four scores while gaining 213 combined yards. He attempted only 19 passes due to Baltimore playing from the lead and Cleveland starting rookie Dorian Thompson-Robinson at quarterback.

The Browns have the second-best quarterback defense (15.09 FPPG), right behind Baltimore’s defense (13.73 FPPG). The Ravens (31.80 fantasy points) and Colts (34.15 fantasy points) had the most success due to scoring four rushing touchdowns by their quarterbacks. Cleveland allows 6.3 yards per pass attempt with 26 sacks. Indy was the only team to pass for more than 300 yards due to a broken play by Michael Pittman (75-yard TD) and blown coverage vs. Josh Downs (59-yard TD) on another play.

This matchup should have a lot of running, pointing to a lower-scoring game (game total – 38.5). The Ravens scored 13 touchdowns and kicked five field goals over their last 34 possessions. That was highlighted by two explosive wins at home (38-6 and 37-3). Over this span, they scored eight rushing touchdowns. Jackson helps his floor by rushing the ball, but he is only an against-the-grain option in this matchup.

Justin Herbert, LAC (DK – $7,700/FD – $8,500)

Over his last two games vs. the Chiefs and Jets…

Thursday Night Football Preview: Week 10

Predictably, Week 9’s Steelers/Titans game lacked fantasy firepower. And that appears to be applicable again in Week 10 as the offensively-challenged Panthers travel to Chicago to take on the last-place Bears. Our Thursday Night Football Preview: Week 10 breaks down the fantasy prospects in a game that seemingly lacks talking points.

The Panthers mustered only 275 yards of offense and 13 points in a home loss to the Colts. Now, the 1-win Panthers must travel on short rest. Carolina is 0-4 on the road and has yet to win a game against an NFC rival.

Meanwhile, the Bears have quarterback concerns. Tyson Bagent has been adequate, but Chicago’s offense lacks scoring upside without Justin Fields. Last week, the Bears out-gained New Orleans but dropped to 1-2 without Fields under center.

This game opened with the home team favored by just 1.5 points with a total of 41. However, early action on the Bears pushed the line to -3 and the total dipped to 39.

TEAM OFFENSE PASS RUSH YDS/PLAY POINTS
Carolina Panthers 30 27 24 31 26
Chicago Bears 14 24 4 15 19

Scoring has been an issue all season for the Panthers, and Carolina’s offensive line has been a big culprit. The Panthers rank 31st in passing yards per attempt and have allowed the fifth-most sacks. LT Ikem Ekwonu has struggled, leading to a lack of time and no ability for plays to develop downfield.

Carolina has only topped 250 passing yards once all season and their defense has allowed the second-most points and forced just seven turnovers. Subsequently, it is difficult to rely on the Panthers for points or fantasy production. Even when facing a Chicago defense that ranks 26th.

For the Bears, they will focus on keeping the ball on the ground. Chicago’s rushing attack ranks fourth and matches up well with a Carolina D that has surrendered the fifth-most rushing yards and allowed a league-worst 14 rushing touchdowns so far in 2023.

However, the biggest question for the Bears will be the health of quarterback Justin Fields. Tyson Bagent has filled in well for three games. But, Fields brings potential as a passer and runner that has been lacking.

Finally, weather should not be a factor. The forecast calls for 48-degree temperatures, with no precipitation or abnormal wind.
