NBA DFS DROPPIN DIMES 8/13/2020

Today we are looking at a 5 game slate starting at 4pm on both DraftKings and FanDuel. Four teams are still fighting for the last spots in the West. Blazers, Grizzlies, Suns and Spurs.   The Magic get the largest bump in pace and are playing against the bench players on the Pelicans. Magic players give go value with upside in this matchup. *Keep an eye on news today.   POINT GUARDS Markelle Fultz The Magic have a few key players out today opening up some additional minutes and usage. With Fournier. Ross, Gordon and MCW off the court Fultz usage goes up by 13% to 33% and he also picks up an additional .3 FPPM (1.24). Add in that the Magic have a massive bump in pace and will be playing against the Pelicans bench players. Fultz has hit value in three straight games and had shown 44 FP upside in that time frame. Have him projected as one of the best return with value and think he will exceed that. Damian Lillard Dame will do everything in his power to get the win today. We have watched him go off the last two games. *Something to keep an eye on-if the Grizzles and Sun both lose then the Blazers keep the 8th seed and may rest players.  VALUE Emmanuel Mudiay Conley is out. Also may see the Jazz rest or limit some players today. Mudiay is FPPM player that could see 25 or so minutes and return around 7x. Frank Mason Trey Burke   SHOOTING GUARDS Devin Booker Suns need this win today. Booker has dropped 35 real points in three straight games and has led the Suns to a 7-0 record in the restart. He is the key to keep this team rolling and give them a chance at the playoffs.  They will give him all the minutes he can take if the game stays close. VALUE Donte DiVincenzo JJ Redick Seth Curry   SMALL FORWARDS DeMar DeRozan Spurs need this win to stay alive. The Spurs have done well vs the Jazz this year. DeRozan will need to play well to keep them in the game. He has exceeded 40 FPs in the bubble and a good source of raw points today. Carmelo Anthony VALUE Gary Trent Jr. Melvin Frazier Georges Niang   POWER FORWARDS Brandon Clarke Clarke is back on track and playing well again. Minutes have been consistent at around 26-28 and producing over 25 FPs in the last two games. He gets a boost with pace and DvP as the Bucks have allowed the 4th most FPs in the bubble. No Giannis helps out as well. Marvin Williams The Bucks will be without Giannis and should VALUE Zach Collins Gary Clark Khem Birch   CENTERS Jusif Nurkic  Nurkic has played very well since the restart and coming back from injury. In his last two matchups for the Nets he dropped 72 and 50 FPs. The Blazers have been keeping a tight rotation with 8 players, so we should see Nurkic get solid run in this excellent matchup. Keep an eye on status(See Damian Lillard).   VALUE Tony Bradley Bradley has 10x upside with 20+ minutes. Could see the Jazz limit Gobert today and Bradley gets some extra run. Boban! Jahil Okofar

NBA DFS DROPPING DIMES 8/11/2020

The NBA season is starting to wind down and teams are sitting players. Keep an eye out. Four teams still fighting for a spot to potentially make the playoffs. Grizzlies are holding down the 8th spot with the Blazers right behind. Suns and Spurs are also in the mix. All of these teams are playing today. POINT GUARDS Damian Lillard The season is winding down and Dame wants a playoff spot, so he will do everything in his power to make that happen. In his two previous games vs the Mavs Lillard dropped 70 and 55 FPs respectively. With this being an important game expect Lillard to show up early and continue until the game ends. Also consider Russell Westbrook with no Harden today. VALUE Markelle Fultz, Alec Burks, Patty Mills, Frank Mason   SHOOTING GUARDS Buddy Heild Welcome to the Buddy Heild show. The Kings are out and will be a resting Fox and a few other players tonight. This allows Heild to pick up more limited and take more shots. Heild loves to shoot and he should have no problem getting 20 shots off tonight. Last time these two teams met the Kings dropped 140 points and ran wild on the Pelicans. Both teams have nothing left to pay for so expect this game to play fast with no defense. Hield 50 burger. Possible if he gets the minutes. Shots will go up. Devin Booker Suns need Booker to go off to keep them alive. He ain’t goin out like that! Bogdan Bogdanovic(No Fox more usage to go around. Crushed in last matchup vs Pelicans) VALUE Donte DiVincenzo, Jerome Robinson,   SMALL FORWARDS DeMar DeRozan The Spurs still have a chance and it all lies on DeRozans to get them there. He is the leader of this team with Aldridge off the floor. Fast paced game against the 4th worse defensive team in the bubble. Rudy Gay should step up as well. Consider him. Luka Doncic(reasonable price and think he goes back and forth with Dame) VALUE Justin Anderson, JJ Redick, Josh Hart, Gary Trent Jr.    POWER FORWARDS Nicolo Meli The Pelicans will be rearing three stars today Jrue Holiday, Brandon Ingram and Zion Wiliamson. This opens up more minutes and potentially a staring spot for Meli. When given the opportunity to play solid minutes Meli has produced. Prior to the break he was given 20 plus minutes and returned over 20 FPs per game. Nice matchup vs the Kings today. Nemanja Bjelica Jusif Nurkic   VALUE Brandon Clarke, Ersan Ilyasova , Marvin Williams, Harry Giles   CENTERS Jonas Valancuinas This is a big game for the Grizzles and would expect them to play at a high level. Valancuinas is coming off a poor performance and we have some other high end centers on the slate, so should expect lower ownership on him tonight. Good spot for Valancuinas and Clarke tonight as Bigs give the Celtics problems. Thomas Bryant(Bucks have allowed the most  FPs in the bubble).   Kristaps Porzingas   VALUE Alex Len, Gary Clark, Robin Lopez.
