Fantasy Football Injury Rundown

ken walker

For many people, the fantasy football playoffs have arrived. That makes every game from here on out a must-win affair. The FullTime Fantasy Football Injury Rundown will catch you up on all the fantasy-relevant injury news you’ll need. Also, be sure to join us in the FullTime Fantasy Discord Channel for injury updates throughout the week. And, check the Week 14 waiver wire and FAAB suggestions for help. Now, let’s check out the Week 14 fantasy football injury rundown. Kenneth Walker (RB) Seattle Seahawks – The initial fear for Walker was a sprained ankle. However, Pete Carroll ruled that out. Instead, Carroll suggested Walker jammed his ankle. As of now, it is impossible to get a read on the situation. But, the good news is it seems like Walker could play in Week 14 or Week 15, at worst. We’ll keep an eye on the practice reports all week. Lamar Jackson (QB) Baltimore Ravens – Jackson is listed as “week-to-week” with a knee injury. A PCL injury, which looks like a possibility, would be a minimum of a 2-game absence. We’ll have to monitor the progress throughout the week. But for now, it seems safe that Tyler Huntley will be under center on Sunday. Update: Jackson did suffer a sprained PCL and has a 1-3 week recovery timeline. Jimmy Garoppolo (QB) San Francisco 49ers – San Francisco lost another starting quarterback for the season after Jimmy Garoppolo’s left foot was stepped on and broken. The Niners will now be down to Brock Purdy, who was the final selection of the 2022 NFL Draft. Tua Tagovailoa (QB) Miami Dolphins – Tagovailoa sprained his ankle in Week 14 but was able to play through the injury. This suggests Tagovailoa should be fine for Week 14. Joe Mixon (RB) Cincinnati Bengals – A concussion caused Mixon to miss Week 13 but he reportedly was processing well through the league’s protocol. It would be a big surprise if Mixon is unable to suit up against Cleveland’s atrocious run defense. Courtland Sutton (WR) Denver Broncos – Sutton is listed as day-to-day with a hamstring injury. However, Denver media seems to think the injury is more severe than first indicated. Plus, with the Broncos faltering and out of playoff contention, there is little reason to rush Sutton back. Treylon Burks (WR) Tennessee Titans – Another victim of a concussion, Burks was injured on his TD grab and unable to return. The first-rounder will have all week to progress through the NFL’s protocol. If he does, Burks has an intriguing matchup with Jacksonville on Sunday. Brandin Cooks (WR) Houston Texans – A calf injury kept Cooks sidelined last week. It is unknown has severe the injury is or if Cooks is simply biding his time until he can move on. However, his absence worked out well for Nico Collins per FullTime Fantasy’s Advanced Snap Report from Week 13. Hayden Hurst (TE) Cincinnati Bengals – Zac Taylor already said Hurst (calf) was doubtful for Week 14. Fantasy managers should be prepared to explore options on the Week 14 waiver wire for an already estimated tight end position. Juwan Johnson (TE) New Orleans Saints – Johnson sat out Monday night’s loss with an ankle ailment. The fourth-year pro wasn’t particularly close to playing. The Saints have a bye this week, so Johnson will get a full two weeks off to heal up for the fantasy playoffs.   ENTER OUR WEEK 14 DRAFT CONTEST! Fantasy Football Injury Rundown

Ja'Marr Chase

As far as we know, no NFL players were injured enjoying Thanksgiving dinner. Unfortunately, some got hurt on the field and will have a fantasy impact. The FullTime Fantasy Football Injury Rundown will catch you up on all the fantasy-relevant injury news you’ll need. Also, be sure to join us in the FullTime Fantasy Discord Channel for injury updates throughout the week. And, check the Week 13 waiver wire and FAAB suggestions for help. Ja’Marr Chase (WR) Cincinnati Bengals – Last week we learned that Week 13 was the expected return date for Chase. We’ll keep an eye on practice reports. However, if Chase returns, he’ll be a top-5 option playing against a Kansas City secondary that yields the seventh-most fantasy points to wideouts. Aaron Rodgers (QB) Green Bay Packers – Rodgers indicated he will play this week after getting positive news about his rib injury. As long as there are no setbacks, Rodgers will be on the QB1 cusp facing a Chicago defense that has crumbled. Josh Jacobs (RB) Las Vegas Raiders – Reports indicate that Jacobs is unlikely to practice at all this week. That makes Jacobs a rather risky proposition in Week 13 versus Seattle. However, the same calf injury cause Jacobs to be listed as questionable last week, and he touched the ball 39 times and produces 303 yards. Najee Harris (RB) Pittsburgh Steelers – Harris was forced from Monday night’s victory with an abdominal ailment. As of now, little is known about the severity or details of this injury. But, it’s certainly something that fantasy managers should be concerned about. Najee Harris OUT with an “abdomen” injury *Since 2019 average missed time for skill players with “abdomen” 1-2 games A “core” or “groin” injury could fall under that umbrella *Average missed time is 1-3 games *Median is 18 days#SteelersNation pic.twitter.com/nVxyxiStD8 — Edwin Porras, DPT (@FBInjuryDoc) November 29, 2022 Travis Etienne (RB) Jacksonville Jaguars – Fantasy managers were forced to watch JaMycal Hasty rack up 95 yards and a score after Etienne exited Week 12’s win with a foot injury. What makes it more frustrating is that allegedly Etienne was cleared to return but Doug Pederson chose to hold his star RB out. However, if Etienne is healthy, he’s back in RB1 territory this week. Justin Fields (QB) Chicago Bears – Fields was inactive last week, as expected. With Chicago’s season pretty much over and the risk of re-injury pretty severe, it makes little sense for the Bears to risk further injury to their franchise signal caller. Damien Harris (RB) New England Patriots – Harris (thigh) is expected to miss Week 13. New England hosts Buffalo on Thursday Night Football. The absence of Harris assures Rhamondre Stevenson will be a top-10 option this week. Darnell Mooney (WR) Chicago Bears – An ankle injury will sideline Mooney for the rest of the 2022 season. Redraft fantasy managers can safely cut Mooney. However, dynasty managers can be encouraged by the last month of results. J.K. Dobbins (RB) Baltimore Ravens – The Ravens designated Dobbins to return from I.R. This opens up a three-week window for Dobbins to return to action. However, it seems likely that Dobbins could play as early as this week. This further complicates a Baltimore offense that has been tough to handicap in 2022. Michael Carter (RB) New York Jets – A low-ankle sprain forced Carter to miss most of Week 12. Carter is listed as questionable ahead of Week 13. However, we consider Carter far more likely to miss at least one game than be rushed back early. Zonovan Knight, James Robinson, and Ty Johnson are more than capable of filling in. Kadarius Toney (WR) Kansas City Chiefs – Toney is listed as day-to-day with a hamstring injury. The sophomore wideout missed last week with the injury but is tentatively expected to return to practice in a limited capacity this week. Allen Robinson (WR) Los Angeles Rams – The foot injury that forced A-Rob to miss Week 12 turned out to be a season-ender. Surgery will be required and Robinson will go down as a huge bust in a lost 2022 campaign. Elijah Mitchell (RB) San Francisco 49ers – Mitchel again sprained his MCL and is expected to miss the remainder of the fantasy season. Jordan Mason is the next man up for the Niners as Christian McCaffrey‘s understudy. Daniel Bellinger (TE) New York Giants – After missing four games with a nasty eye injury, Bellinger could return this week. Rex Burkhead (RB) Houston Texans – Burkhead is in the league’s concussion protocol. With only seven touches in Houston’s past five contests, Burkhead has no fantasy value.   ENTER OUR WEEK 13 DRAFT CONTEST! How it Works: First, draft your team using our On-Demand Simulator. Fantasy Football Injury Rundown

Bengals RB Joe Mixon

Here are the key fantasy-relevant injury situations we’ll be monitoring with the fantasy football injury rundown. Both for this week’s action and moving forward. Also, be sure to check out our Week 12 waiver wire and FAAB recommendations. Also, be sure to join us in the FullTime Fantasy Discord Channel for injury updates throughout the week. And, from our family to yours, Happy Thanksgiving! Joe Mixon (RB) Cincinnati Bengals – Mixon was forced out of Cincinnati’s Week 11 win with a concussion. Because the Bengals play Sunday, Mixon will have adequate time to clear the NFL concussion protocol. However, that is not a sure thing. Fantasy managers would be wise to make Samaje Perine their top priority on the Week 11 waiver wire. Ja’Marr Chase (WR) Cincinnati Bengals – The good news is that Chase is off crutches. Also, the superstar wideout is listed as day-to-day. The bad news: Chase hasn’t returned to practice and the club is keeping his status close to the vest. Obviously, Chase’s status has huge fantasy ramifications, so we will stay alert. Justin Fields (QB) Chicago Bears – Fields dislocated his left (non-throwing) shoulder. The second-year signal-caller still managed to play through the injury. However, his status moving forward is somewhat in doubt. We should have a better idea of Fields’s availability on Wednesday. Mike Williams (WR) Los Angeles Chargers – A brutal reminder of why it’s always risky to gamble on players returning from lower leg injuries in their first game back. Williams re-aggravated the high-ankle injury that cost the veteran wideout four games. Although the reoccurrence isn’t considered serious, expect Williams to miss games until he is 100%. Josh Palmer and DeAndre Carter will benefit while Williams is out. Marquise Brown (WR) Arizona Cardinals – Brown was eligible to return last week but ultimately held out. But, there is good news. Brown indicated that he feels close and his odds of suiting up against the Chargers look promising. As always, we’ll keep FullTime members updated in the FullTime Fantasy Discord Channel. Matthew Stafford (QB) Los Angeles Rams – Stafford is back in the league’s concussion protocol. This is the second stint for Stafford in two weeks. The veteran quarterback will almost certainly miss time. Plus, with the Rams’ season spiraling, it won’t make sense for the club to rush Stafford back. Playoff-bound fantasy managers who were relying on Stafford should look for other options. Kyle Pitts (TE) Atlanta Falcons – Pitts was placed on IR after an MRI revealed a torn MCL. The sophomore tight end will miss a minimum of four games. However, with surgery, the most likely scenario is that Pitts’s fantasy season is effectively over. Rondale Moore (WR) Arizona Cardinals – Unfortunately, Moore suffered a groin injury on Arizona’s first play from scrimmage. The sophomore standout was unable to return to action against San Francisco. This doesn’t bode well for Moore’s Week 12 availability. Wan’Dale Robinson (WR) New York Giants – Robinson tore his ACL during his breakout performance. This injury will end Robinson’s rookie season. Clyde Edwards-Helaire (RB) Kansas City Chiefs – A high-ankle sprain will keep Edwards-Helaire sidelined for multiple weeks. CEH’s playing time was already dwindling before the injury. Conversely, Isiah Pacheco‘s role as the Chiefs’ starter looks even more secure. Jaylen Warren (RB) Pittsburgh Steelers – Pittsburgh’s satellite back hurt his hamstring early last week. Warren wasn’t able to return to action and is expected to sit in Week 12. In Warren’s absences, Najee Harris led all running backs with a 91.8% snap share. That puts Harris back in the RB1 conversation while Warren is out. Jerry Jeudy (WR) Denver Broncos – Jeudy was absent from practice Tuesday with an ankle injury. Unless there is a sudden improvement, Jeudy is on the wrong side of questionable for Week 12. Kadarius Toney (WR) Kansas City Chiefs – Toney re-aggravated his hamstring injury after just one target. If Toney is unable to return in Week 12, the Chiefs would be dangerously thin at wideout. Juju Smith-Schuster is also sidelined by a concussion. Chase Edmonds (RB) Denver Broncos – A high-ankle sprain will keep Edmonds out for a minimum of four weeks. One of the bigger busts of the 2022 draft season, Edmonds can safely be dropped from all non-dynasty rosters. Jameson Williams (WR) Detroit Lions – The Lions opened the 21-day window for Williams to make his NFL debut. The No. 12 overall pick tore his ACL in January’s national championship game and has yet to practice. However, this is an encouraging development for the dynamic rookie. Williams is certainly worth a look on the waiver wire where he is a free agent.   ENTER OUR WEEK 12 DRAFT CONTEST! How it Works: Draft your team using our On-Demand Simulator. Fantasy Football Injury Rundown

Cooper Kupp

Here are the key fantasy-relevant injury situations we’ll be monitoring with the fantasy football injury rundown. Both for this week’s action and moving forward. Also, be sure to check out our Week 11 waiver wire and FAAB recommendations. Also, be sure to join us in the FullTime Fantasy Discord Channel for injury updates throughout the week. Cooper Kupp (WR) Los Angeles Rams – Easily one of the most impactful injuries of a brutal season, Kupp will miss 4-6 weeks with a high-ankle sprain. The ankle will require surgery and could end Kupp’s season altogether. With the Rams virtually out of playoff contention, there will be little reason to bring Kupp back in a lost season. Zach Ertz (TE) Arizona Cardinals – Ertz was carted off the field on Sunday and will miss the remainder of the 2022 season with a knee injury. Trey McBride will take over as the starter. Dallas Goedert (TE) Philadelphia Eagles – A shoulder injury will keep Goedert sidelined for multiple weeks. Week 10 proved to be a devastating blow for the tight end position. A spot that is already dangerously thin. Jack Stoll, who plays 34% of snaps but has just 7 targets, is the next man up. Keenan Allen (WR) Los Angeles Chargers – Allen (hamstring) could return to practice this week. The veteran wideout originally hurt his hamstring in Week 1 and tried to return in Week 7. Even if he suits up in Week 11, Allen will likely be on a limited snap count. We recommend a wait-and-see approach before inserting Allen back into fantasy lineups. Mike Williams (WR) Los Angeles Chargers – The Chargers could also get Williams back to face Kansas City. Williams has been out since suffering a high-ankle sprain in Week 7. If Williams is active, he is a safer bet in lineups than Allen. Khalil Herbert (RB) Chicago Bears – A hip injury will keep Herbert out for at least four games. The Bears placed Herbert on short-term IR Tuesday. This should result in more work for David Montgomery. Trestan Ebner will also mix in as the RB2 behind Montgomery. Jerry Jeudy (WR) Denver Broncos – Any time a player is carted off (see: Zac Ertz) the prognosis isn’t good. However, Jeudy is day-to-day with an ankle injury. It would probably be best to leave Jeudy out of Week 11 lineups regardless of his status. There isn’t much upside in a Denver offense that is last in scoring. Gambling on a limited player in that attack is a recipe for disaster. Matthew Stafford (QB) Los Angeles Rams – Another big blow for the ailing Rams. Stafford was a surprising addition to the league’s concussion protocol last Wednesday. The veteran signal-caller was forced to sit last week. However, there is plenty of time for Stafford to be activated ahead of Week 11’s matchup with the Saints. Randall Cobb (WR) Green Bay Packers – Cobb has been absent since Week 7 with an ankle injury but is nearing a return. The aging wideout would return to slot duties and give QB Aaron Rodgers a much-needed veteran presence. P.J. Walker (QB) Carolina Panthers – An ankle injury will cause Walker to miss this week’s game. Baker Mayfield will be back under center against the Ravens and will be backed up by Sam Darnold. Walker is a drop candidate. Romeo Doubs (WR) Green Bay Packers – Doubs won’t play in Week 11 with a high-ankle sprain. Randy Bullock (PK) Tennessee Titans – Bullock injured his hip last week. He was able to play through the injury. However, Tuesday the Titans signed Josh Lambo to their practice squad. That move casts some doubts on Bullock’s Week 11 availability. Chase Young (DL) Washington Commanders – IDP enthusiasts rejoice. Young should debut this week. Plus, he gets an intriguing matchup against a horrid Texans squad. Shaquille Leonard (LB) Indianapolis Colts – Leonard will miss the rest of the 2022 campaign after being placed on season-ending IR with a back injury that required surgery.   ENTER OUR WEEK 11 DRAFT CONTEST! Fantasy Football Injury Rundown

The playoffs are right around the corner. Unfortunately, injuries seem to be mounting at the worst time. Our Fantasy Football Injury Rundown goes though all the injuries you need to be aware of. Here are the key fantasy-relevant injury situations we’ll be monitoring with the fantasy football injury rundown. Both for this week’s action and moving forward. Also, be sure to check out our Week 10 waiver wire and FAAB recommendations.   Josh Allen (QB) Buffalo Bills – Allen injured his UCL on Buffalo’s final drive but finished the game. The severity of the elbow injury is still to be determined. But it appears that Allen has avoided a full ligament tear and should be able to practice and play through the injury. After the initial hit, Allen uncorked a 70-yard throw, which is a good sign. Aaron Jones (RB) Green Bay Packers – Jones exited Week 9 with an ankle injury and did not return. Early indications are the team isn’t concerned about Jones’s Week 10 availability. However, monitoring this week’s practice participation will be a better indicator. Ezekiel Elliott (RB) Dallas Cowboys – Elliott sat out last week with a “minor” knee injury. However, Elliott wasn’t seen at practice Monday. As long as Elliott is able to practice later this week he should be back in action Sunday. We will update Elliott’s practice participation in the FullTime Discord. Damien Harris (RB) New England Patriots – Harris missed Week 9 with an illness but will have the bye to recover. He should be good to go for Week 11. Romeo Doubs (WR) Green Bay Packers – A high-ankle sprain could sideline Doubs for the rest of the fantasy season. The recovery time for this injury is typically 4-6 weeks. Green Bay is riding a 5-game losing streak and will have little incentive to rush Doubs back into action. Treylon Burks (WR) Tennessee Titans – Absent since Week 4 with a toe injury, Burks is eligible to return from IR. However, Tennesee’s 31st-rank passing attack won’t provide Burks enough opportunities to be anything more than a desperation WR4. Kenny Golladay (WR) New York Giants – On Tuesday, Golladay returned to practice. This was the first time Golladay has participated in practice since Week 4. The veteran wideout missed four games but hasn’t recorded a single reception since Week 1. Even if he plays, Golladay is well off the fantasy radar. Ryan Tannehill (QB) Tennessee Titans – Tannehill has now missed two starts with an ankle injury. However, he was pretty close to suiting up Sunday night. Considering how limited the Titans’ offense has been with Malik Willis under center, we tentatively expect Tannehill to start Week 10 versus Denver. Chuba Hubbard (RB) Carolina Panthers – Hubbard thought he could suit up last week but the Panthers erred on the side of caution. As it turns out, Carolina could have used the sophomore back in a humiliating defeat. Hubbard should return on Thursday against the Falcons. Gus Edwards (RB) Baltimore Ravens – Edwards missed Monday night’s win with a hamstring ailment. Baltimore has a bye this week so we expect Edwards to be good to go in Week 11. Jarvis Landry (WR) New Orleans Saints – Landry was able to participate in limited practice sessions ahead of Monday but was ultimately declared inactive. There’s a very good chance Landry will return this week versus Pittsburgh. Once cleared, Landry will reclaim slot duties from Tre’Quan Smith. Elijah Mitchell (RB) San Francisco 49ers – The 49ers designated Mitchell to return from Injured Reserve. Mitchell has 21 days to return to action for the first time since hurting his knee in the season opener. With Christian McCaffrey now atop the depth chart, Mitchell’s fantasy appeal is severely limited.   ENTER OUR WEEK 10 DRAFT CONTEST! How it Works: Draft your team using our On-Demand Simulator. Fantasy Football Injury Rundown

Cooper Kupp

As usual, injuries had a big impact on fantasy football lineups last week.  Our Fantasy Football Injury Rundown goes though all the fantasy-relevant injuries you need to be aware of. Here are the key fantasy-relevant injury situations we’ll be monitoring. Both for this week’s action and moving forward. Also, be sure to check out our Week 9 waiver wire and FAAB recommendations.   Cooper Kupp (WR) Los Angeles Rams – The entire fantasy community can breathe a sigh of relief. Kupp appears to have avoided serious damage to his ankle. Sean McVay called his star wideout “day-to-day,” which is very good news considering the initial look of the injury. We’ll monitor Kupp’s practice status all week and update it in Discord. Keenan Allen (WR) Los Angeles Chargers – Allen hurt his hamstring back in Week 1 and didn’t return until Week 7. He was only in on 32% of LA’s snaps in that game. What is more concerning is that Allen has the Week 8 bye to get healthy. Yet, the aging veteran was absent from practice Monday. The Chargers desperately need Allen back in the lineups with Mike Williams expected to miss a month. This will be one of the most important injuries to monitor ahead of Week 9. DK Metcalf (WR) Seattle Seahawks – In a shocker, Metcalf not only played in Week 8 but found the end zone. After reports dropped that Metcalf had hurt his patellar tendon, he was expected to miss 1-3 weeks. Instead, he recovered in days and was back on the field. At this point, Metcalf might be less than 100% but there’s no reason to think he won’t be back to face the Cardinals on Sunday. Rashod Bateman (WR) Baltimore Ravens – After re-injuring his foot, Bateman will be sidelined for multiple weeks. Devin Duvernay will now act as Baltimore’s No. 1 wideout. Bateman is not on Injured Reserve. Also, that puts fantasy managers in a bind. With that, teams struggling through early bye weeks and playoff contention may have to consider cutting Bateman. Mark Andrews (TE) Baltimore Ravens – Andrews is still dealing with a knee injury and added a shoulder ailment to his troubles last week. The team doesn’t seem overly concerned but if Andrews is limited, Isaiah Likely becomes an interesting streaming option to consider. Gus Edwards (RB) Baltimore Ravens – Yet another injured Raven. Running back Gus Edwards is dealing with a sore hamstring and has been listed as questionable. The soft-tissue injury is considered minor, but hamstring injuries are notoriously easy to reoccur. For now, we tentatively expect Edwards to suit up this week. D’Andre Swift (RB) Detroit Lions – Swift received just 15.2% of Detroit’s rushes in his first game back. The third-year back is still working his way back from ankle and shoulder ailments and will be eased back into action. However, it might take a few games for Swift to approach the kind of workload he saw in Week 1. Until then, consider Swift and Jamaal Williams solid weekly RB2s. Chuba Hubbard (RB) Carolina Panthers – Hubbard missed Week 8 with an ankle injury. This led to D’Onta Foreman‘s huge outing. Hubbard says he’ll be back in Week 9 which should result in more of a split backfield. Both Panters’ backs are flex worthy. Irv Smith (TE) Minnesota Vikings – An ankle injury will sideline Smith for the next 8-10 weeks. This, and the club’s trade for T.J. Hockenson, effectively ends Smith’s fantasy season. Nico Collins (WR) Houston Texans – Houston hosts Philadelphia on Thursday. That means that Collins (groin) has next to zero shot at playing in Week 9. Considering how bad Houston’s offense has looked, fantasy managers strapped for roster flexibility can probably just send Collins to the waiver wire.   ENTER OUR WEEK 9 DRAFT CONTEST! Fantasy Football Injury Rundown

Jets RB Breece Hall leaves on a cart in Week 7

As usual, injuries had a big impact on fantasy football lineups last week.  Our Fantasy Football Injury Rundown goes though all the fantasy-relevant injuries you need to be aware of. Here are the key fantasy-relevant injury situations we’ll be monitoring. Both for this week’s action and moving forward. Also, be sure to check out our Week 8 waiver wire and FAAB recommendations. Ezekiel Elliott (RB) Dallas Cowboys: Elliott is dealing with a hyperextended right knee that has caused swelling and bruising. He is expected to sit in Week 8. The one time Tony Pollard played without Zeke, he posted 31 fantasy points! Matt Ryan (QB) Indianapolis Colts: Ryan suffered a Grade 2 shoulder sprain. However, he was benched in favor of Sam Ehlinger and the coach made it clear it was a benching. Ehlinger brings more mobility to the position. Russell Wilson (QB) Denver Broncos: It was revealed this weekend that Russ did have a slight tear in his hamstring. This makes his timeline for a return very murky. Breece Hall (RB) New York Jets: Hall continued to look every bit the prospect he was projected to be in Week 7 until he went down with a knee injury. Unfortunately, the team has announced he tore his ACL and did some damage to his meniscus which will cost him the remainder of the season. He will hope to be ready for Week 1 next season. However, the team did trade for James Robinson (for a conditional sixth-round pick) who has been struggling recently with the Jaguars with an apparent knee injury. His presence will reduce the workload for Michael Carter who has flashed well in a lightning roll to Hall’s thunder, which leaves J-Rob as a low-end flex option. Mike Boone (RB) Denver Broncos: Boone has been sent to IR with an ankle injury. This will open up more touches for Melvin Gordon and Latavius Murray. Chuba Hubbard (RB) Carolina Panthers: Hubbard exited Sunday with an ankle injury leaving the split backfield to D’Onta Foreman. However, the team has said that he could have returned to the game if needed. D.K. Metcalf (WR) Seattle Seahawks: Metcalf went down with what looked like a serious knee injury this week and the Seahawks feared the worst. However, reports were positive and it will not require surgery. He is expected back this season but does not have a clear timeline for a return. Amon-Ra St. Brown (WR) Detroit Lions: St. Brown exited this week with a concussion and did not return. It sounds like this is a Teddy Bridgewater situation though. He was pulled by a spotter but was not diagnosed with a concussion which could be good news for his availability next week. Mike Williams (WR) Las Angeles Chargers: Williams went down with an ugly ankle injury on Sunday. Luckily, the injury wasn’t as bad as it looked, but he is still expected to miss some time with a high-ankle sprain. Allen Lazard (WR) Green Bay Packers: Lazard injured his shoulder on Sunday and was spotted with his arm in a sling following the game. Nico Collins (WR) Houston Texans: Collins was forced from this week’s game with a groin injury and did not return. It’s unclear if he will miss time, but these injuries tend to linger. Phillip Dorsett stepped up in his absence. David Njoku (TE) Cleveland Browns: Njoku suffered a high-ankle sprain and will likely be out 2-5 weeks. Harrison Bryant should see an uptick in volume this week. Daniel Bellinger (TE) New York Giants: On a freak play, Bellinger was punched in the face and broke his eye socket. It will require surgery and there is a chance his season is over. Tanner Hudson is next on the depth chart although fullback Chris Myarick may be the better add if he’s TE-eligible.   ENTER OUR WEEK 8 DRAFT CONTEST! Fantasy Football Injury Rundown

Fantasy Football Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott

Another week is in the books. Unfortunately, plenty of injuries were part of an erratic Week 6 slate. Our Fantasy Football Injury Rundown goes though all the fantasy-relevant injuries you need to be aware of. Here are the key fantasy-relevant injury situations we’ll be monitoring. Both for this week’s action and moving forward. Also, be sure to check out our Week 7 waiver wire and FAAB recommendations.   Dak Prescott (QB) Dallas Cowboys – Week 7 was always the timeline for Prescott’s return. His practice activities picked up last week and he’s expected to take starting QB reps on Wednesday. Assuming he’s back under center, Prescott will be a locked-in QB1 against a bottom-5 Detroit secondary. Marquise Brown (WR) Arizona Cardinals – The Cardinals are fortunate to be getting DeAndre Hopkins back from suspension this week. No. 1 wideout Hollywood Brown suffered a major foot injury and is expected to miss six weeks. Brown will avoid surgery but is expected to go on IR. The club also traded for Robbie Anderson, who has very little time to prepare himself for Thursday’s tilt. Keenan Allen (WR) Los Angeles Chargers – A hamstring injury has now cost Allen five games. He was trending in the right direction last week and is tentatively expected to return this Sunday versus Arizona. Carson Wentz (QB) Washington Commanders – Wentz fractured his thumb on Thursday, which helped explain the abysmal performance. Surgery was required and the veteran signal-caller will miss at least one month. Taylor Heinicke will take over as the starter for the next 4-6 weeks. Russell Wilson (QB) Denver Broncos – As if the season wasn’t disappointing enough, apparently Russell Wilson merger from Monday night’s loss with a hamstring injury. Brett Rypien, who has a career 61.2 QB rating, would be next man up is Wilson is forced to miss time. For now, consider Wilson day-to-day. Tua Tagovailoa (QB) Miami Dolphins – After missing most of three games, Tagovailoa has cleared concussion protocol and will be under center this week against Pittsburgh. Although rust could be a factor, Tagovailoa will be in a good spot facing a Steelers’ secondary ceding the seventh-most fantasy points to quarterbacks. James Conner (RB) Arizona Cardinals – Conner was unable to practice with a rib injury that kept him out last week. With Arizona playing Thursday, assume Conner will miss his second straight game. Kenny Pickett (QB) Pittsburgh Steelers – Pickett was unable to finish Week 5 and is in the league’s concussion protocol. If he is unable to clear it in time for Week 7, Mitch Trubisky would start against Miami. Michael Thomas (WR) New Orleans Saints – The Saints are really banged up right now and a short rest week won’t help. Reports indicated that Thomas’s foot was improving but it seems more likely that the club will hold him out once again. We’ll monitor his healthy and update the FullTime Fantasy Discord. Jarvis Landry (WR) New Orleans Saints – Landry is probably less likely to play on a short week with an ankle ailment that has sidelined him since Week 5. New Orleans doesn’t have a bye until Week 14. Cameron Brate (TE) Tampa Bay Buccaneers – A week after suffering a concussion, Brate had a scary next injury that turned out to be a sprain. Should Brate miss time, Cade Otton would see his snaps rise. Also, bring on the Gronk rumors. Randall Cobb (WR) Green Bay Packers – A sprained ankle will keep Cobb sidelined for 2-4 weeks. Cobb is Green Bay’s primary slot receiver. His absence will likely mean more slot reps for Allen Lazard and Romeo Doubs. But, the real benefactor here could be TE Robert Tonyan, who already boasts a 48.6% slot rate. Darrel Williams (RB) Arizona Cardinals – The Cardinals are due up Thursday, which makes it almost certain that Williams will miss another game with a knee injury. At this point, there is no real reason to keep the veteran back rostered. Matt Prater (PK) Arizona Cardinals – With a short week on deck, the Cardinals signed Rodrigo Blankenship to the practice squad. This is a very good indication that Prater (hip) will miss Week 7. Dustin Hopkins (PK) Los Angeles Chargers – Hopkins re-aggravated his quad injury on Monday. He played through the ailment but it is safe to assume the club will bring in a potential replacement this week.   ENTER OUR WEEK 7 DRAFT CONTEST! Fantasy Football Injury Rundown

Rashaad Penny vs Detroit Lions Week 4

Last week we saw the first fallout from the league’s new concussion protocol. Of course, protecting these players is paramount, but it’s going to cause some issues in fantasy football. The Fantasy Football Injury Rundown will catch you up on the important injury news and notes that will impact lineups in Week 6. Here are the key fantasy-relevant injury situations we’ll be monitoring. Both for this week’s action and moving forward. Also, be sure to check out our Week 6 waiver wire and FAAB recommendations.   Rashaad Penny (RB) Seattle Seahawks – The biggest injury blow to come out of Week 5 was to Seattle’s starting running back. Penny, who is no stranger to injuries, broke his right tibia and will require season-ending surgery. It was another brutal injury for Penny, who head to free agency after the season. With Penny gone, Kenneth Walker III will now act as the Seahawks’ feature back. Dak Prescott (QB) Dallas Cowboys – Although Prescott is getting closer, reports indicate he still can’t grip the ball well with his right thumb. The Cowboys have a critical NFC East showdown with Philadelphia this week. But that game is Sunday night, which doesn’t help with lineup decision time. Since Cooper Rush is 4-0 as the starter, expect Jerry Jones to err on the side of caution and keep Prescott out for at least one more week. Darren Waller (TE) Las Vegas Raiders – Waller exited Monday night after six snaps. When the Raiders emerged from halftime, Waller was in street clothes. Certainly, that is a worrisome development for a player that battled hamstring issues throughout the preseason. For now, be prepared to be without Waller for at least one week. Foster Moreau (knee) missed Week 5. Both will have an additional week to heal due to Las Vegas’s Week 6 bye. Damien Harris (RB) New England Patriots – Another hamstring injury will keep Harris out for multiple weeks. With Harris out, Rhamondre Steven#SZN is certainly here. Stevenson racked up 175 yards on 27 touches against Detroit. New England has a bye in Week 10 so Week 11 may be a realistic return date for Harris. Pierre Strong is a waiver wire target in deeper leagues. Tee Higgins (WR) Cincinnati Bengals – It seems that the ankle injury that kept Higgins limited in practice was much worse than indicated. Higgins only participated in 10 snaps Monday and did not record a reception. If he is able to practice later this week that would be a good sign for Week 6. But for now, consider Higgins very questionable. Keenan Allen (WR) Los Angeles Chargers – Just look to Allen for the potential impact of hamstring injuries. LA’s No. 1 receiver has now missed four games with a seemingly moderate hamstring ailment. Allen may actually return to practice this week, which would be very welcomed. We’ll update his status in the FullTime Discord channel. James Conner (RB) Arizona Cardinals – For the second game in a row, Conner was unable to play in the second half. This time, a rib injury kept Conner sidelined. Darrel Williams (knee) was also ruled out. The team doesn’t seem overly concerned about Conner, but fantasy managers may want to proactively add Eno Benjamin as a hedge. Rashod Bateman (WR) Baltimore Ravens – A foot injury kept Bateman out last week but all indications are that he should be good to go versus the Giants. We will have an update on Bateman’s status later this week. Isaiah McKenzie (WR) Buffalo Bills – McKenzie missed last week due to a concussion and is still in the protocol. He has all week to clear the tests. If he does, he should slide right back in as the club’s WR3. If McKenzie misses Week 6, Khalil Shakir would be an appealing waiver add. Julio Jones (WR) Tampa Bay Buccaneers – The Bucs are taking a proactive approach with Jones’s knee. The aging veteran was close to playing last week but the club is cautiously hoping another week off will put Jones close to 100%. Chances are he will be activated this week. Dalton Schultz (TE) Dallas Cowboys – Apparently, Schultz re-injured his knee in Week 5, which explains his goose-egg performance. Schultz has really been struggling with Cooper Rush under center. It might be better for all if Schultz is held out this week until Dak Prescott returns. That’s about the only way he can salvage what looks like a lost 2022 season. Jahan Dotson (WR) Washington Commanders – A hamstring injury kept Dotson out last week. With the Commanders slated to play in short rest, there is next to zero shot Dotson plays. Expect Dyami Brown to fill in again. Tua Tagovailoa (QB) Miami Dolphins – Tagovailoa is still in the league’s concussion protocol. We fully expect him to miss at least one more start. Backup Teddy Bridgewater is also in the protocol but has already passed initial tests. Bridgewater is likely to start against the Vikings. Baker Mayfield (QB) Carolina Panthers – A high-ankle sprain will keep Mayfield sidelined for some time. P.J. Walker is slated to start this week. The Panthers also dismissed Matt Rhule. Don’t be surprised if Sam Darnold also earns some starts at some point. This is a situation to avoid, altogether. Logan Thomas (TE) Washington Commanders – Thomas sat out Week 5 with a calf injury. He also sat out practice Monday, which is a troubling sign for his Week 6 availability. Washington plays Chicago on Thursday, so Thomas is looking very questionable for Week 6. Robbie Gould (PK) San Francisco 49ers – 39-year-old kicker Robbie Gould hurt his knee making a tackle in San Francisco’s victory in Carolina. He was unable to kick the remainder of the game and the club will be bringing in the rotating group of veteran replacements this week. We’d start looking for other options. Ashton Dulin (WR) Indianapolis Colts – Dulin will miss a minimum of four weeks. He was placed on IR with a foot injury. Deonte Harty (WR) New Orleans Saints – Harty suffered a severe turf toe injury and is likely to miss the rest of the season.

Fantasy Football Injury Rundown

Javonte Williams

In a season that feels marred by injuries, Week 4 might have been the worst slate yet. We’re only one-quarter of the way through 2022 but it feels like every team has been majorly impacted. The Fantasy Football Injury Rundown keeps you up-to-date on all the fantasy-relevant injuries. It is also important to know how to overcome roster adversity. Attacking the Week 5 waiver wire is a good place to start the recovery process. Here is the fantasy football injury rundown ahead of Week 5. Barring something unforseen, expect to see D’Andre Swift & Alvin Kamara suit up this weekend.  Javonte Williams (RB) Denver Broncos – The most devastating injury from Week 4 was Williams tearing his ACL. The sophomore running back’s 2022 season is over but there is some concern for his future. In addition to the ACL, Williams also tore his LCL and posterior lateral corner. These are three significant knee injuries that all occurred at once and will complicate his recovery. Our thoughts are with Williams and the long road ahead. Dak Prescott (QB) Dallas Cowboys – There was some speculation that Prescott could return in Week 5. But owner Jerry Jones indicated Prescott is still having issues gripping the ball. The Cowboys are also 3-0 with Cooper Rush under center, so they can afford to let Prescott rest another week. Expect Rush to nab the start against the Rams. Tua Tagovailoa (QB) Miami Dolphins – By now you’ve undoubtedly read about the Tua fiasco. It looked like Tagovailoa was concussed in Week 3 but was back out there on short rest. Then, a scarier head injury occurred on Thursday resulting in the quarterback being sent to the hospital. There are varying accounts of how Tua was allowed to re-enter Week 3 and suit up again four days later. Tua has already been ruled out for Week 5 and could be out longer. Teddy Bridgewater will be under center for the time being. Jonathan Taylor (RB) Indianapolis Colts – The original diagnosis for Taylor was the dreaded high-ankle sprain. Fortunately, that wasn’t the case. Taylor’s Week 5 availability is uncertain but he hasn’t participated in any practices. With the Colts due up for a Thursday game, things aren’t looking good. Even if he’s active, Taylor would likely be extremely limited against a Broncos defense that allows the ninth-fewest fantasy points to running backs. Amon-Ra St. Brown (WR) Detroit Lions – St. Brown missed practice all week and was held out of Week 4. St. Brown is tentatively expected to return to practice ahead of this week’s trip to New England. We’ll have updated in the FullTime Fantasy Discord. Ditto for D.J. Chark who was also a surprise scratch last Sunday. Cordarrelle Patterson (RB) Atlanta Falcons – Patterson tried to play through a knee injury, even scoring on nine carries but never returned. He was placed on IR Monday. That means he’ll be out a minimum of four games. Atlanta will surge ahead with Tyler Allgier and Caleb Huntley, who split snaps and touches evenly on Sunday. Russell Wilson (QB) Denver Broncos – Wilson was limited in practice with shoulder fatigue. The Broncos are on a short week hosting the Colts on Thursday. It is almost certainly just the club being cautious in a limited week. Daniel Jones (QB) New York Giants – Jones sprained his ankle in New York’s 20-12 victory over Chicago. Jones actually had to come back into the game after Tyrod Taylor exited with a concussion. It is not known if Jones will be available in Week 5 but the club brought in Jake Fromm and A.J. McCarron for workouts. We’ll update Jones’s status later when word breaks. Treylon Burks (WR) Tennessee Titans – A turf toe injury could sideline rookie WR Treylon Burks for 2-4 weeks. For now, surgery isn’t needed but expect to be without Burks for multiple starts. Jahan Dotson (WR) Washington Commanders – Ron Rivera said Jahan Dotson could miss 1-2 weeks with a hamstring injury. The injury itself didn’t seem too serious but hamstring ailments are notorious for reoccurring when not given proper time to fully heal. For now, plan on not having Dotson for Week 5, at least. Brian Robinson (RB) Washington Commanders – Robison is expected to make his NFL debut in Week 5. The rookie missed the first month of the season after being shot in the leg. His arrival would be just in time too. Antonio Gibson‘s snap share has been trending down. Robinson attracted a lot of hype this summer so we should see if he can live up to that quickly. Brian Hoyer (QB) New England Patriots – Already missing Mac Jones, the Patriots quickly had to get Bailey Zappe into NFL action after Hoyer was concussed early. All signs point toward Zappe making his first NFL start Sunday against the Lions. Justice Hill (RB) Baltimore Ravens – Hill hurt his hamstring and is expected to miss a game or two. Baltimore also activated Gus Edwards from the PUP list. That makes Edwards eligible to participate in practice this week. Expect the Ravens to have Mike Davis and Kenyan Drake active this week. Cameron Brate (TE) Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Brate got hit by his teammate but returned to the field before being pulled and ruled out with a concussion. He will have to clear the league’s concussion protocol before he can return to action. Jamison Crowder (WR) New York Jets – A broken ankle with sideline Crowder for an extended period of time. The injury could be season-ending, so there is little reason to hold onto Crowder except in the deepest of dynasty leagues. Jerome Ford (KR) Cleveland Browns – Ford was placed on season-ending IR with an ankle injury. Matt Prater (PK) Arizona Cardinals – Prater was questionable all week but managed to play before a hip injury caused him to exit in the third quarter. The signing of Matt Amendola all but assures that Prater will be inactive in Week 5.   ENTER OUR WEEK 5 DRAFT CONTEST! How it Works: Draft your team using our On-Demand Simulator.
