NHL DFS: Point Shot – 11/14

Key Skaters Anze Kopitar (LA) Going back to the Kopi well after he scored a goal the other night; the Kings’ captain gets another great matchup tonight against Detroit who allows the second-most fantasy points per game to centers, including
NHL DFS: Point Shot – 11/12

Key Skaters Mark Scheifele (WPG) Scheifele has goals in three of his last four games and has 24 points (seven goals) in 25 career games against Colorado. The Avalanche allow the fourth-most shots on goal per game (11.24) to centers.
NHL DFS: Point Shot – 11/7

Key Skaters Nathan MacKinnon (COL) With Rantanen and Landeskog still out, Mack remains the primary scoring option on a team that lacks depth up front. Mack has four goals and 15 shots in his last three games against the Predators
NHL DFS: Point Shot – 11/5

Key Skaters Mark Scheifele (WPG) Scheifele comes in severely underpriced in a matchup against the Devils at home who allow the seventh-most fantasy points per game to centers. In his last three games against NJ, Scheifele has four goals, three
NHL DFS: The Point Shot – 11/2

Key Skaters David Pastrnak (BOS) Pasta has been the best player in the league thus far from a DFS standpoint and right now he’s the hottest averaging 25.94 DK points per game over his last seven outings. On the season,
NHL DFS: The Point Shot – 11/1

Key Skaters Jack Eichel (BUF) Jack has points in three of his last four games, multiple points twice during that time, and a total of three goals, four assists, and 14 shots on goal over that span. The Capitals allow
NHL DFS: The Point Shot – 10/30

Key Skaters Aleksander Barkov (FLA) Even after a slow start, Barkov ranks seventh among centers in points per 60 at 5v5. Points in three of his last four games, but still looking for his first goal of the season. At
NHL DFS: The Point Shot – 10/29

Key Skaters Alex Ovechkin (WAS) Ovie ranks third in the league in shots per 60, first in individual scoring chances per 60, and first in rebounds created per 60. In 49 career games against Toronto, Ovechkin has 39 goals (third-most
NHL DFS: The Point Shot – 10/26

Key Skaters Patrice Bergeron (BOS) Points in seven of his last eight games and has six shots in each of his last two contests. This is the Blues’ first road game off of a four-game homestand so I wouldn’t be
NHL DFS: The Point Shot – 10/24

Key Skaters Jack Eichel (BUF) The Rangers come into this game allowing 33.6 shots on goal per game (second-most in the league) with over 10 of those shots per game coming from centers. Jack is coming off a two-goal, two-assist performance along with six shots on goal; he now has four or more shots in four games this season. Buffalo’s power-play is fourth-best in the league converting 30.8 percent of the time while the Rangers’ PK is middle of the pack at a 77.4 percent kill rate. Eichel has three goals and four assists on the power-play this season and should have some opportunities to improve that as the Rangers average 10.4 penalty minutes per game. Matt Duchene (NSH) Duchene has moved over to the right-wing spot for now with Filip Forsberg injured and the Wild are allowing the second-most fantasy points per game to right-wingers. Duchene has points in seven of nine games this season and has three points on the power-play skating on the top unit. His ability to possess the puck is beneficial, more so on the wing as he’ll be able to get himself in position to shoot more often rather than distribute the puck which he would be more prone to do playing the center position. Even if Duchene finds his way back playing some center in this game, he’s listed as a winger on DK which, in turn, could give us a third center at some points of the game and thus even more puck possession. Johnny Gaudreau (CGY) Off to a very poor start for his standards with just one goal in his last nine games (24 shots). The Panthers are allowing the most fantasy points per game to left-wingers thus far, including three points per game to the position. This is a get-right spot for Johnny and the Flames at home as a late-night hammer. Favorite Line Stacks *Note: Lines are subject to change depending on morning skate lines. Revert to the chat and/or look for updates here for any impact they may have. Nashville Predators Second Line: Granlund – Turris – Duchene I personally think that the Preds are going to beat the shit out of the Wild tonight and I love the value that this line brings with a collective salary of $14,600. Turris has been around for a long time and has always been a shoot-first center. At $4,300 we get a streaky second-line center who is not shy about shooting and has recorded at least one point in each of his last four games. Granlund, I’m sure, is still thinking about how the Wild gave up on him last season and sent him packing to Nashville. He’s been quiet in his last four games but playing on left-wing, this is a good spot for him to get back onto the scoresheet. Duchene is the factor here. I expect him to, in some ways be the playmaker from the wing spot while having opportunities to put the puck on net. Granlund and Turris skate on the second power-play unit while Duchene is on the top unit. Both units are used frequently by Peter Laviolette so there’s no need to be discouraged about Turris and Granlund in that regard. Philadelphia Flyers First Line: van Riemsdyk – Giroux – Voracek Giroux back at center gives Philly more depth at the position, a position the Blackhawks have had a lot of trouble dealing with. Full power-play correlation with this line and all of the skaters are good values with Giroux ($6,100), JVR ($5,600), and Voracek ($5,200). Chicago allowed the fifth-most shots per game to left-wingers per game making JVR, who often finds himself down in deep, plenty of opportunities for some high-danger scoring chances. Voracek’s ability to handle the puck, make plays, and shoot makes him a threat at even strength and on the power-play, again, correlating with Giroux and JVR. Buffalo Sabres First Line: Olofsson – Eichel – Reinhart Eichel leads this charge and I touched on him above, but he’s skated almost exclusively with Olofsson and Reinhart at even strength this season. Olofsson has six goals, all on the power-play skating on the top unit with Eichel and Reinhart, one of the best power-play units in the league. Reinhart is averaging seven shots per 60 minutes at 5v5. Others to Consider: Columbus Blue Jackets First Line: Foligno – Dubois – Atkinson Chicago Blackhawks Second Line: Dach – Strome – Kane Top Positional Plays Center Sebastian Aho (CAR) Logan Couture (SJ) Brayden Schenn (STL) Anze Kopitar (LA) Sean Monahan (CGY) Wing Brendan Gallagher (MTL) Jeff Skinner (BUF) Cam Atkinson (CBJ) Evander Kane (SJ) Vladimir Tarasenko (STL) Defense Mark Giordano (CGY) Erik Karlsson (SJ) Roman Josi (NSH) Shea Weber (MTL) Alex Pietrangelo (STL) Value Defense Justin Faulk (STL) Marc-Edouard Vlasic (SJ) Jake Gardiner (CAR) Travis Hamonic (CGY) Brent Seabrook (CHI) Top Goalies Pekka Rinne (NSH) – In my eyes, Rinne is the safe bet to get a win tonight. As I said, I expect the Preds to beat the piss out of Minnesota. Jordan Binnington (STL) – The Kings lead the league in shots on goal per game (38) giving Binnington, who’s off to a solid start, massive upside in this home matchup. Joonas Korpisalo (CBJ) – Korpi has seen 31 or more shots in each of his last four starts and that shouldn’t change tonight against the ‘Canes who average over 34 shots on goal per game. Carter Hutton (BUF) – He’s been stellar so far with a 1.65 GAA and .943 save percentage. While the Rangers don’t get a ton of shots on net, the Sabres do allow their opponents to get pucks to the net at a high clip. GOOD LUCK!!
