NHL DFS: Point Shot – 1/4

Key Skaters Elias Pettersson (VAN) The Rangers continue to be a mess defensively while the Canucks have won six straight scoring 28 goals over that span. While Mika Zibanajad is by far the best center the Rangers have, expect Vancouver

Key Skaters Jack Eichel (BUF) The Oilers are at a 2.64 xGA/60 at 5v5 their last 10 road games, the fourth-most in the league over a 10 road-game span. Edmonton is allowing 1.69 goals per game to centers over the

Key Skaters Johnny Gaudreau (CGY) Gaudreau hasn’t exactly been lighting the world on fire of late and overall it’s been a sub-par campaign for Johnny Hockey. However, much like Larkin again, Johnny finds himself in a great matchup at home

NHL DFS: Point Shot – 12/28

Key Skaters Nikita Kucherov (TB) In that same game with Montreal, I like the Tampa side a ton and it’s hard not to look at Kucherov. Kuch has recorded a goal in each of his last three home games against the Habs and has 13 points, five goals, in his last nine games against them overall. The reigning Hart Trophy winner has six points in his last four games and is averaging 12.91 shots per 60 at 5v5 over his last 14 games. Vinnie Trocheck (FLA) On the season, Detroit allows the most fantasy points per game to centers and over the past four weeks, they haven’t improved much still allowing the fourth-most per game. At 5K, Vinnie is a good value on a high-scoring team, especially at home. I prefer him over Barkov tonight simply because of the salary relief and in my eyes, they have just as much upside in this spot. Trocheck has double-digit fantasy points in three of his last five games. Brendan Gallagher (MTL) As one of the premier power forwards in the game that nobody talks about, in the U.S. at least, Gallagher is a steal at $6,400 tonight leading the league in high-danger scoring chances per 60 at 5v5. In eight of his last 10 games, Gally has four or more shots on goal supporting the fact that over the last month (13 games) he leads the NHL in shots per 60 at 5v5 with 17.97. If Montreal wants to keep up with Tampa’s potent offense by attacking their sub-par defense then Gally will need to be involved and there’s no doubt in my mind that he will be.   Favorite Line Stacks *Note: Lines are subject to change depending on morning skate lines. Revert to the chat and/or look for updates here for any impact they may have. Tampa Bay Lightning First Line: Palat – Point – Kucherov Point, like Kucherov (above), has been hot of late with points in five of his last six games recording four goals and five assists over that span. A line that has two high-priced cornerstones on it needs some value and that’s what Palat brings at $4,900 with points in each of his last three games. Vancouver Canucks Second Line: Miller – Pettersson – Boeser Over their last five games, the second line for Vancouver has combined for eight goals and eight assists. Boeser has seven goals in eight games against Los Angeles and Pettersson has four goals and six assists in six games against the Kings. Coming into Vancouver on a back-to-back, the Canucks should be able to take advantage of some tired legs en route to some power-play chances with Boeser, Pettersson, and Miller all on the top power-play unit.   Others to consider: Toronto Maple Leafs First Line: Hyman – Matthews – Marner Philadelphia Flyers First Line: Giroux – Couturier – Konecny Value Line Stacks Florida Panthers Second Line: Huberdeau – Trocheck – Acciari Highlighted above is Vinnie, but his linemates Huberdeau and Acciari have been skating great of late. Huber has three goals and eight assists in his last four games while Acciari has seven goals in his last three outings. Huber also has three goals and five assists in his last two games against Detroit. Over their last 10 games Detroit is allowing 2.12 high-danger scoring chances per 60 at 5v5 on the road, the most in the league over that span. On the road for the entire season, the Wings are allowing the fifth-most goals per 60 at 5v5.   Others to consider: Montreal Canadiens First Line: Tatar – Danault – Gallagher Carolina Hurricanes Second Line: Niederreiter – Aho – Teravainen   Top Positional Plays Value plays highlighted in RED Center Aleksander Barkov (FLA) Auston Matthews (TOR) Nicklas Backstrom (WSH) Kevin Hayes (PHI) Max Domi (MTL) Wing Tyler Seguin (DAL) Alex Ovechkin (WSH) Artemi Panarin (NYR) Taylor Hall (ARI) Mike Hoffman (FLA) Clayton Keller (ARI) Defense Alex Edler (VAN) Victor Hedman (TB) Tyson Barrie (TOR) Cale Makar (COL) Jake Muzzin (TOR) Mikhail Sergachev (TB)   Top Goalies Antti Raanta (ARI) Frederik Andersen (TOR) Chris Drieger (FLA) Phil Grubauer (COL) Carter Hart (PHI)   GOOD LUCK!!

NHL DFS: Point Shot – 12/27
