Week 10 Byes: Kansas City, Los Angeles Rams, Miami, Philadelphia Ja’Marr Chase (WR) Cincinnati Bengals – Chase landed hard on his back in Cincinnati’s Sunday Night victory over Buffalo. Chase played through the injury. However, it had a noticeable impact on his play and the early report sounded disconcerting. We will keep the FullTime Discord updated. #Bengals Ja’Marr Chase making it sound like his back injury will be something worth monitoring. Concerned tone, to be certain, from him. “I’m just going to support my teammates, man. Let those guys do what they got to do. Only thing I can do is get healthy for the team.” — Paul Dehner Jr. (@pauldehnerjr) November 6, 2023 Justin Jefferson (WR) Minnesota Vikings – The Vikings could welcome Jefferson back as early as this week. However, he has yet to return to practice. We will monitor Jefferson’s practice participation throughout the week and keep FullTime Fantasy Members advised in the Discord Channel. UPDATE: Jefferson and K.J. Osborn are expected to miss Week 10. Deebo Samuel (WR) San Francisco 49ers – The 49ers welcomed Samuel back to practice on Monday. He will return this week in Jacksonville and just in the nick of time too. San Francisco has lost three straight games and faces a surging Jaguars squad also coming off of their bye. Dallas Goedert (TE) Philadelphia Eagles – Godert fractured his right forearm trying to snag a sideline catch. He will miss a minimum of 3-4 weeks. The Eagles don’t have a viable in-house replacement, so expect more targets for DeVonta Smith and Kenneth Gainwell. Justin Fields (QB) Chicago Bears – After missing three games, Fields has returned to practice in a limited capacity. Fields is trending in the right direction. And his return would be a boost for all Chicago fantasy options. UPDATE: Fields is OUT. Justin Fields is considered day-to-day after returning to practice Friday on a limited basis — Chicago Bears (@ChicagoBears) November 7, 2023 David Montgomery (RB) Detroit Lions – Montgomery returned to practice on Monday and will be back in Detroit’s lineup on Sunday in Los Angeles. This is a welcomed development for fantasy football managers. But, it does complicate things after Jahmyr Gibbs’s breakout performance prior to the bye. James Conner (RB) Arizona Cardinals – Some more good news- the Cardinals are expected to welcome back both QB Kyler Murray and RB James Conner. And after Arizona’s shutout loss in Cleveland, these reinforcements are just in time. Murray projects to be a middling QB2 until we see how he performs. However, Conner is a strong, volume-based RB2 option. Josh Downs (WR) Indianapolis Colts – Downs tweaked a knee injury and could not play in the second half of Indy’s Week 9 game. We will know more about his knee as the week progresses. Treylon Burks (WR) Tennessee Titans – Burks is in the NFL’s concussion protocol and is considered doubtful for Week 10. Cole Kmet (TE) Chicago Bears – You can breathe a sigh of relief as tight end Cole Kmet was a full participant in Tuesday’s practice after sitting out Monday. #Bears Tuesday Injury Report: pic.twitter.com/OGge04gVnA — Bears Communications (@BearsPR) November 7, 2023 Daniel Jones (QB) New York Giants – A lost season for Jones ended in Week 10. Jones suffered a non-contact new injury that turned out to be a torn ACL. With Tyrod Taylor (ribs) on IR, Tommy DeVito will take over for the Giants. Cam Akers (RB) Minnesota Vikings – A second ruptured Achilles will end Cam Akers’s season. Akers already made an unprecedented return to action following his first Achilles injury. However, expecting a second miraculous recovery is highly unlikely. Matthew Stafford (QB) Los Angeles Rams – The fact that the Rams signed Carson Wentz is worrisome. Stafford injured his thumb in Week 9 and missed last week’s game. When he’s up to speed, Wentz is an upgrade over Brett Rypien, who was held to 130 scoreless yards in Sunday’s defeat. Darren Waller (TE) New York Giants – More bad news for the Giants. The hamstring injury that forced Waller out of Week 9 is severe enough that the club placed Waller on IR. Subsequently, Waller will be out until at least Week 15. Robert Woods (WR) Houston Texans – After missing two games, Woods is expected to return this week at Cincinnati, so be cautious with the amount of FAAB you use on Noah Brown. Also, Woods makes an intriguing pickup per FullTime Fantsy’s Matchup Analyzer Tool, which ranks the Texans with the second-easiest schedule for wide receivers in the next four weeks. UPDATE: Woods has not returned to practice, putting his Week 10 status in doubt. Ka’imi Fairbairn (PK) Houston Texans – The Texans were forced to use RB Dare Ogunbowale as an emergency kicker after Fairbairn injured his quadriceps. Subsequently, the Texans just signed free agent Matt Amendola to their practice squad. That puts Fairbairn’s Week 10 availability in doubt. UPDATE: Faibarin will not play. Khalil Herbert (RB) Chicago Bears – Chicago designated their starting running back to return from IR. However, Herbert will not play on Thursday. Continue to start D’Onta Foreman. De’Von Achane (RB) Miami Dolphins – Reports indicate that Achane will be ready to return to action following Miami’s Week
Fantasy Football Injury Report

Fantasy Football Injury Report Injuries hit hard in Week 8. Especially at the quarterback position. One look at this week’s potential starters tells us all we need to know. Whether these injuries are to starting quarterbacks or any other skill-position spot, the Fantasy Football Injury Report breaks down the impact for Week 9 and moving forward. Also, a great starting point for staying updated on the latest injuries is to bookmark our NFL Injury Report. Now, let’s break down all the latest fantasy-relevant injury news in this week’s Fantasy Football Injury Report for Week 9. We will continually update this list. Week 9 Byes: Denver, Detroit, Jacksonville, San Francisco Matthew Stafford (QB) Los Angeles Rams – Stafford is listed as day-to-day with an injured right (throwing) thumb. Last year, Stafford had the same injury occur. That resulted in scar tissue, which complicates the current ailment. Also, Stafford was severely limited down the stretch a year ago. The Rams are exploring adding a veteran as insurance. Our early guess is that Stafford will attempt to play through the injury. However, if last year is an indicator, his velocity and accuracy could be hampered. Brett Rypien is LA’s backup. Finally, Stafford’s injury is a UCL sprain. UPDATE: Stafford did not practice Wednesday and is trending in the wrong direction. Brett Rypien would be next man up. If you’re keeping track… – Rams QB Matthew Stafford has a sprained UCL (right thumb); is “day to day” per Sean McVay. – Rams will try to bring in another QB, intended to sign John Wolford per @DMRussini but were just informed Wolford will now stay in TB https://t.co/AVz0mR29Wc — Jourdan Rodrigue (@JourdanRodrigue) October 31, 2023 Kirk Cousins (QB) Minnesota Vikings – A ruptured Achilles ended Cousins’s season. In a corresponding move, the Vikings traded for Josh Dobbs from Arizona. Cousins will be an unrestricted free agent after the season. Also, this bodes well for Kyler Murray‘s availability for the Cardinals. UPDATE: Cousins was placed on season-ending IR. Kenny Pickett (QB) Pittsburgh Steelers – Pickett exited Week 8 with a rib injury. Mitchell Trubisky finished the game for the Steelers. Complicating Pickett’s status is the fact that the Steelers are scheduled to play on Thursday. However, Pickett told the Pittsburgh media on Tuesday that he intends to start. Pickett was limited in Tuesday’s practice. But that is a good sign. UPDATE: Pickett is good to go. Daniel Jones (QB) New York Giants – The Giants cleared Jones to return from his neck injury. Jones will be back under center in Week 9 as the Giants travel to Las Vegas. Tyrod Taylor (ribs) is week-to-week. Justin Fields (QB) Chicago Bears – Matt Eberflus announced that Tyson Bagent will start for Chicago in Week 9. That puts Fields on a trajectory to return at home in Week 10 as the Bears host the Panthers. UPDATE: Fields won’t play Week 9. Ryan Tannehill (QB) Tennessee Titans – Tannehill has not returned to practice. He is still recovering from an ankle injury that occurred in Week 6. However, after Will Levis’s debut, don’t expect to see Tannehill back anytime soon. UPDATE: Tannehill is out, as expected. Puka Nacua (WR) Los Angeles Rams – Nacua was limited on Wednesday with a knee injury. It doesn’t appear to be something too serious. But with a player of Nacua’s caliber, we’ll keep a close eye on it and have updates in Discor Darren Waller (TE) New York Giants – A hamstring injury will keep Waller out for multiple weeks. Subsequently, an IR stint is possible. Deshaun Watson (QB) Cleveland Browns – Watson (shoulder) will start Sunday. Tyler Lockett (WR) Seattle Seahawks – Lockett did not practice on Wednesday. He’s dealing with a hamstring ailment but was able to play through it last week. At this point, it looks like the staff is simply being cautious with their veteran wideout. As long as he participates by Friday, Lockett should be fine in a big game against Baltimore. Drake London (WR) Atlanta Falcons – London left Atlanta’s Week 8 loss early with a groin injury. He did not practice Wednesday, which is concerning. If he is unable to practice by Saturday, London could miss Week 9. We will have more updates in the FullTime Discord Channel. UPDATE: London is OUT. Josh Palmer (WR) Los Angeles Chargers – Palmer aggravated an existing knee injury and missed some snaps. However, he was able to finish the game. Expect Palmer to be limited in practice this week. But, he should play. Kendrick Bourne (WR) New England Patriots – Bourne tore his ACL on Sunday. His 2023 season is over. Subsequently, this should result in more targets for Demario Douglas. Curtis Samuel (WR) Washington Commanders – A toe injury knocked Samuel out of Washington’s loss to Philadelphia after 14 snaps. Samuel will undergo further testing this week. We will have more updates in the FullTime Fantasy Discord Channel. UPDATE: Samuel is OUT. Pick up Jamison Crowder as a replacement. Robert Woods (WR) Houston Texans – Woods will miss at least one more week with a foot injury. Also, tight end Brevin Jordan will miss additional time with plantar fasciitis. And TE Tegan Quitoriano was placed on IR with a groin injury. Damien Williams (RB) Arizona Cardinals – Williams exited Week 8 with a foot injury. However, he’s well off the fantasy radar. Dameon Pierce (RB) Houston Texans – Ruled OUT. Finally, these players are due back in Week 10: Justin Jefferson (WR) Minnesota Vikings Deebo Samuel (WR) San Francisco 49ers David Montgomery (RB) Detroit Lions De’Von Achane (RB) Miami Dolphins James Conner (RB) Arizona Cardinals Finally, thanks for reading the Fantasy Football Injury Report. Fantasy Football News & Rankings Update

Fantasy Football News & Rankings Update It’s kind of alarming that Halloween is nearly here and we’re halfway through the 2023 football season. That went by fast. These mid-season weeks are crucial. Also, Week 8 has no bye weeks to contend with. Our Fantasy Football News & Rankings Update gets you prepared for Sunday and Monday’s action. First, check out our Advanced NFL Snap Counts Report to see which player’s usage is trending in the right direction. Secondly, Adam has some spicy takes in his Week 8 Start ‘Em Sit ‘Em article. Finally, DFS legend Shawn Childs does a thorough breakdown of the entire DFS field in his DFS Quarterbacks, Running Backs, Wide Receivers, and Tight End Reports. We are also at the time of year when weather can be a factor. Forecast for Sunday’s Chiefs-Broncos game in Denver calls for a high of 29 degrees, a low of 13, with 6-14 inches of snow, per the National Weather Service. — Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) October 28, 2023 Week 8 Injury News Brocky Purdy has progressed through the NFL’s concussion protocol and should be under center to face the Bengals. We have Purdy as a borderline QB1 in our Week 8 rankings. Brock Purdy appears to be on pace (as long as there’s no setback) to receive full clearance for Sunday’s game. https://t.co/QgXH0OU56g — Matt Maiocco (Threads @maiocconbcs) (@MaioccoNBCS) October 27, 2023 Aaron Jones does not have an injury designated. However, he may be on a ‘snap count’ to protect his hamstring. That keeps Jones as a riskier RB2 this week. Jerome Ford returned to practice Friday. But fantasy managers should be very wary of starting a player so soon after being diagnosed with a high-ankle sprain. #Browns Jerome Ford – TBD. Data favors sitting. Very rare for even mild high ankle to return following week. If active, expect performance dip + workload dip. Likely return Wk 9#Browns Kareem Hunt – Playing. Thigh contusions typically cause low RB performance impact 12/24 — Deepak Chona, MD. SportsMedAnalytics (@SportMDAnalysis) October 28, 2023 Jimmy Garoppolo practiced in full on Friday. He will be back to starting in Detroit and represents an upgrade for all Raiders’ skill position players. Roschon Johnson is back after missing two games with a concussion. However, Johnson now has to contend for touches with an ascending D’Onta Foreman. But, Johnson is the superior pass catcher, so he has an edge in a game that the Bears are 8.5-point underdogs in Los Angeles. David Montgomery did not practice all week. The Lions have a Week 9 bye. Our lofty projections for Jahmyr Gibbs show there’s next to zero chance he will suit up this week. UPDATE: Montgomery is OUT. Josh Palmer was limited to sideline work at Friday’s practice after sitting out Wednesday and Thursday. Palmer is questionable. However, if he plays will have a tantalizing matchup. We will have more in the FullTime Discord on Sunday. Luke Musgrave (ankle) is a game-time decision. Miles Sanders is back, so we lowered Week 8 projections for Chuba Hubbard. At this point, it’s hard to handicap what will happen in Carolina, coming off of a bye with a new play-caller. That makes both Sanders and Hubbard risk/reward RB2/3 options. Kyler Murray is doubtful. Zack Moss missed a pair of practices this week and is looking very iffy for the Saints game. However, if Moss sits, Jonathan Taylor will move into RB1 territory. Juwan Johnson is back after a four-week absence. Justyn Ross has been placed on this Commissioner’s exempt list after an arrest. Subsequently, Ross can be dropped in all formats. Also, for the Chiefs, Justin Watson (elbow) returns. Daniel Carlson (groin) has not practiced all week. The Raiders signed James McCourt to the to fill in if Carlson is ruled out in Detroit. P.J. Walker will start for the Browns. This is a downgrade for all Cleveland pass catchers. Juju Smith-Schuster has no injury designation. His return cools Kendrick Bourne off slightly. Players Ruled OUT Daniel Jones (QB) New York Giants Justin Fields (QB) Chicago Bears Deshaun Watson (QB) Cleveland Browns Ryan Tannehill (QB) Tennessee Titans Chase Brown (RB) Cincinnati Bengals Zay Jones (WR) Carolina Panthers Robert Woods (WR) Houston Texans Laviska Shenault (WR) Carolina Panthers Kylen Granson (TE) Indiaanpolis Colts Brevin Jordan (TE) Houston Texans Josh Whyle (TE) Tennessee Titans ENTER OUR WEEK 8 DRAFT CONTEST! Fantasy Football Injury Report There were some frustrating injury occurrences in Week 7 that torpedoed many fantasy lineups. Our Fantasy Football Injury Report catches you up on all of the fantasy-relevant injuries that will impact your lineups in Week 8 and beyond. Also, a great starting point for staying updated on the latest injuries is to bookmark our NFL Injury Report. Finally, FullTime Fantasy Members will get the latest NFL injury news and advice live each Sunday and Thursday in the FullTime Fantasy Discord. Click below to join us today! Now, let’s break down all the latest fantasy-relevant injury news in this week’s Fantasy Football Injury Report for Week 8. We will continually update this list. Week 8 Byes: NONE Deebo Samuel (WR) San Francisco 49ers – A hairline fracture in his shoulder sidelined Samuel for Week 7 and will keep him out for Week 8. The 49ers have a Week 9 bye, so Week 10 seems like a realistic timeline for Samuel to return. Jauan Jennings and Ray-Ray McCloud will play bigger roles while Samuel is out. However, neither is fantasy-relevant. Bijan Robinson (RB) Atlanta Falcons – There are no indication that rookie RB Bijan Robinson is injured. However, his absence in Week 7 had severe consequences. He came up ill before Atlanta’s Week 7 win in Tampa and played a mere 11 snaps. Not only were fantasy managers surprised by Robinson’s lack of role, but the Falcons could face consequences for their handling of the situation. The NFL is now asking injury-report compliance questions to the Atlanta Falcons about when they knew rookie running back Bijan Robinson wasn’t physically well and why it was not reported, as per league policy. It is standard practice for the league to question teams about a… — Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) October 23, 2023 DK Metcalf (WR) Seattle Seahawks – Metcalf missed his first NFL game with a rib injury. Most thought Metcalf would be active. However, Pete Carroll decided to be cautious. Metcalf should be back in Week 8. Note: Metcalf faces the most difficult matchup in the league this week vs WRs in Cleveland who only allow 23.3 fantasy points per game to wide receivers. Kyren Williams (RB) Los Angeles Rams – Last week the Rams sent Williams (knee) to IR. He will miss four games plus LA’s Week 10 bye. That puts Williams in line for a Week 12 return to action. Zach Ertz (TE) Arizona Cardinals – Ertz was sent to the IR with a quad injury. He will miss at least four games. That will open up more opportunities for Trey McBride, who has shown improvement in the last two games. Fantasy managers can drop Ertz. Roschon Johnson (RB) Chicago Bears – Johnson is in the final stages of the NFL’s concussion protocol. He should return this week. However, after D’Onta Foreman’s breakout, it is fair to question how much playing time Johnson will garner after missing two games. Jerome Ford (RB) Cleveland Browns – A high-ankle sprain will cause Ford to miss 1-2 games. Kareem Hunt will see more touches. Also, Pierre Strong will mix int. Justin Fields (QB) Chicago Bears – Matt Eberflus has already said that Fields is doubtful for Week 8. Expect Tyson Bagent to get at least one more start. Chicago has a favorable schedule for the next month, so whoever is under center should be on fantasy radars. Jimmy Garoppolo (QB) Las Vegas Raiders – The Raiders were embarrassed in Chicago. Brian Hoyer’s abysmal play was a catalyst for Vegas’s struggles. By all indications, Jimmy Garooppolo will be back under center in Detroit and has plenty of motivation to return to the lineup. Raiders’ QB Jimmy Garoppolo has a $90,000 per-game-active-roster bonus that he misses out on for each game that he doesn’t play. Garoppolo now has missed out on $180,000 in roster bonuses the past two weeks, but he’s expected to start making it back next Monday night. https://t.co/uvnhS7CWrI — Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) October 22, 2023 Kyler Murray (QB) Arizona Cardinals – Bestball drafters rejoice! The Cardinals opened Murray’s 21-day window to return. Murray should practice this week. If all goes well, he could be back under center in the next 1-2 weeks. Also, Murray is a priority waiver wire target where available. Christian Watson (WR) Green Bay Packers – Watson tweaked his knee and is considered questionable. We’ll have to keep an eye on Watson’s practice participation all week and keep the FullTime Fantasy Discord updated. Treylon Burks (WR) Tennessee Titans – Absent since Week 4 with a knee injury, Burks practiced during Tennesee’s Week 7 bye and is set to return. This will be a much-needed boost for a Titans’ passing attack which ranks 29th in the league. Daniel Jones (QB) New York Giants – Jones missed his second straight game. However, local media indicated that Jones was close to suiting up last week against Washington. Tyrod Taylor has filled in admirably, so the Giants do not have to rush Jones back into the lineup. Deshaun Watson (QB) Cleveland Browns – Watson’s return was brief, exiting Week 7 in the first quarter. The quarterback hit his head on the turf but cleared concussion protocol. However, Kevin Stefanski chose to keep P.J. Walker in the lineup. Subsequently, Watson is a volatile fantasy option. Ryan Tannehill (QB) Tennessee Titans – Tannehill is dealing with a high-ankle sprain and is considered questionable to play against the Falcons. He did not practice Tuesday. Coming off a bye, that’s a good indication that Tannehlll will miss at least one more start. Malik Willis will fill in if Tannehill is unable to go. Greg Dulcich (TE) Denver Broncos – After playing 11 snaps in Week 6, Dulcich hurt his hamstring. Subsequently, the Broncos placed Dulchich on IR for the second time this season. The earliest he can return is Week 10. #Broncos announce that they’ve activated Baron Browning from the PUP and placed Greg Dulcich on IR — Ryan Edwards (@redwardsradio) October 21,

Fantasy Football Injury Report Another week, another round of impactful injuries. Approaching the mid-point of 2023 and it’s unlikely any roster hasn’t been affected. All we can do is reinforce through the waiver wire and stay proactive. Our Fantasy Football Injury Report for Week 7 will keep you updated on the news and offer advice on how to persevere. Now, let’s break down all the latest fantasy-relevant injury news in this week’s Fantasy Football Injury Report for Week 7. We will continually update this list. Week 7 Byes: Carolina, Cincinnati, Dallas, Houston, New York Jets, Tennessee Christian McCaffrey (RB) San Francisco 49ers – In a season filled with big names getting hurt, perhaps no injury would hit as hard as losing the overall RB1, Christian McCaffrey. He exited Week 6 with an oblique injury and had an MRI on Monday. Fortunatley, Kyle Shanahan opined that CMC is “day-to-day,” so a major injury was avoided. However, that doesn’t mean fantasy managers shouldn’t be proactive. Elijah Mitchell and Jordan Mason should be scooped up off waivers. Anthony Richardson (QB) Indianapolis Colts – Unfortunately, Richardson’s rookie season will end prematurely. Colts owner Jim Irsay said that Richardson is expected to have season-ending surgery on his sprained AC joint. Subsequently, Gardner Minshew will assume the starting job. Minshew offers weekly QB2 upside. However, Richardson is relegated to dynasty hold. Kyren Williams (RB) Los Angeles Rams – Although Williams will miss one game, fantasy managers can breathe a sigh of relief. Williams avoided a major injury. He has a minor sprained ankle. Backup Ronnie Rivers wasn’t as fortunate. Subsequently, Rivers is a candidate for IR. As a result, Zach Evans becomes one of the most coveted Week 7 waiver wire targets. An MRI today revealed that Rams’ RB Kyren Williams has a sprained ankle that is expected to sideline him for Sunday’s game vs. the Steelers but is not considered a long-term injury, per source. — Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) October 16, 2023 Justin Fields (QB) Chicago Bears – Fields dislocated his thumb. He’s doubtful for Week 7. In fact, Fields could miss multiple weeks, as he is unable to grip the ball. Therefore, there is no concrete return timetable. We don’t recommend targeting whoever steps in as Chicago’s backup signal caller. David Montgomery (RB) Detroit Lions – A rib injury will force Montgomery to miss 1-2 games. Also, Jahmyr Gibbs missed last week with a hamstring injury. If Gibbs is healthy, he would be on the RB2 radar. However, Gibbs didn’t excel when Montgomery missed Week 3. Conversely, Craig Reynolds looks like a good bet for a prominent role this week in Baltimore. Trevor Lawrence (QB) Jacksonville Jaguars – Lawrence injured his knee last week but was able to finish the game. He has practiced with a brace all week. The Jags play on Thursday, but Lawrence is expected to be under center. However, we may see fewer runs for Lawrence, capping his fantasy upside in a tough matchup. Deebo Samuel (WR) San Francisco 49ers – Samuel is day-to-day. The injury is not long-term. #49ers injury updates from Kyle Shanahan: Christian McCaffrey: Is undergoing imaging now to determine what’s up with ribs/oblique. Deebo Samuel: He’s day to day with a shoulder injury. Trent Williams: It’s NOT a high ankle. He’s day to day, too. — Matt Maiocco (Threads @maiocconbcs) (@MaioccoNBCS) October 16, 2023 Deshaun Watson (QB) Cleveland Browns – Watson (shoulder) is week-to-week. Last week, the Browns medical staff cleared Watson. However, reports indicate that Watson is having trouble getting power behind any throws. Cleveland was off in Week 5, so Watson’s inability to start last Sunday is worrisome. We will have more in the FullTime Fantasy Discord as the week progresses. Zay Jones (WR) Jacksonville Jaguars – Jones missed Week 6 with a knee injury and did not practice Tuesday. There’s almost no chance he plays Thursday. Jimmy Garoppolo (QB) Las Vegas Raiders – A back injury knocked Garoppolo out of the Raiders’ Week 6 victory. However, the severity is unknown. The team is still awaiting further test results. We’ll have more in Discord later this week. Damien Harris (RB) Buffalo Bills – A scary situation in Buffalo seems to have a promising conclusion. Harris was taken off the field in an ambulance. However, he did give a thumbs-up before heading to a local hospital. Currently, Harris is in the league’s concussion protocol. While Harris is absent, expect more work for Latavius Murray. Daniel Jones (QB) New York Giants – Jones is still dealing with symptoms from his neck injury. In addition, Jones previously had a cervical injury that cost him six games in 2021. Also, the 1-5 Giants have little hope of contending, plus they have a quality backup in Tyrod Taylor. In conclusion, don’t expect Jones back in Week 7, and expect more of Taylor under center. Ryan Tannehill (QB) Tennessee Titans – A high-ankle sprain knocked Tannehill out of Tennessee’s Week 6 loss. However, the Titans are off this week. That gives Tannehill a full two weeks to recover. If the veteran can’t play in Week 8, Malik Willis will start. Subsequently, that would be a downgrade for the supporting cast. Jamaal Williams (RB) New Orleans Saints – Williams (hamstring) is nearing a return. However, with Alvin Kamara soaking up touches, it is fair to wonder if Williams will have much, if any role when he does. Diontae Johnson (WR) Pittsburgh Steelers – Finally, we try to end on a positive. It sounds like the Steelers will welcome back Anthony McFarland and Diontae Johnson this week. Also, TE Pat Freiermuth should return. The #Steelers have designated WR Diontae Johnson and RB Anthony McFarland Jr. to return from injured reserve. Both will practice this week and I

Now, let’s break down all the latest fantasy-relevant injury news in this week’s Fantasy Football Injury Report: Week 6. We will continually update this list. Week 6 Byes: Green Bay Packers, Pittsburgh Steelers Justin Jefferson (WR) Minnesota Vikings – The most devastating blow to come out of a terrible injury slate was the news that consensus 1.01 Justin Jefferson would be placed on IR with a hamstring injury. This is a devastating blow for the 1-4 Vikings as well as millions of fantasy rosters. Jefferson will miss a minimum of four games. The earliest JJ could return would be Week 10 versus New Orleans. However, Minnesota’s season appears to be a lost one. The Vikings don’t have a bye until Week 13. If Jefferson doesn’t progress through rehab, there may not be a ton of motivation to rush him back. K.J. Osborn should inherit Jefferson’s ‘X’ role, making him a top waiver wire priority. The #Vikings plan to place WR Justin Jefferson on injured reserve because of the hamstring injury he suffered in Sunday’s loss to Kansas City, per sources. The exact timeline is TBD based on how he responds to treatment. But Jefferson is out at least four games. pic.twitter.com/hBAYZHZqlV — Tom Pelissero (@TomPelissero) October 10, 2023 De’Von Achane (RB) Miami Dolphins – Second in the NFL in rushing and third in fantasy scoring, rookie De’Von Achane will miss multiple weeks with a knee injury. At the time, the injury didn’t appear serious. However, the club has indicated Achane is a candidate for IR, which would keep him out a minimum of four games. Jeffery Wilson, who was just activated, is the best replacement target for Achane managers. UPDATE: Achane is on IR. Justin Jefferson to IR and De’Von Achane might be right behind him Worst Tuesday morning EVER — Ian Hartitz (@Ihartitz) October 10, 2023 Anthony Richardson (QB) Indianapolis Colts – A Grade 3 sprained AC joint will keep Richardson sidelined for a month. The rookie signal-caller banged his shoulder on the turf as he was tackled from behind. Richardson immediately motioned to his right (throwing) shoulder. Richardson previously missed half of Week 2 and all of Week 3 with a concussion. Gardner Minshew will start in his place for at least the next three games. James Conner (RB) Arizona Cardinals – Another season, another lengthy absence for stand-out RB James Conner. Conner injured his knee on a long run and will miss multiple weeks. Expect the Cardinals to employ a committee backfield. Emari Demercado is the best bet to target on the waiver wire. As for Conner, volume dictates that he is a strong hold or ‘buy low’ candidate. Update: Arizona placed Conner on IR. Subsequently, you can boost your Demercado bids. The #Cardinals are placing RB James Conner (knee) on injured reserve, per source. He’s out at least four games. pic.twitter.com/bsYY73JUkq — Tom Pelissero (@TomPelissero) October 10, 2023 Travis Kelce (TE) Kansas City Chiefs – The Chiefs are due to play Thursday, which gives Travis Kelce little time to heal his ankle. Kelce originally went down with no contact. However, he returned to the game and caught a touchdown. That quelled Achilles’ concerns. However, there have been no updates on the status of the ankle injury. However, Kelce practiced on Tuesday. That’s a good sign. Jahmyr Gibbs (RB) Detroit Lions – Gibbs was a surprise add to the injury list. He hurt his hamstring late last week and missed Detroit’s victory. And, Gibbs could miss 1-2 more weeks. Tee Higgins (WR) Cincinnati Bengals – A rib injury kept Higgins out last week. We will know more about his Week 6 availability as the week progresses. Javonte Williams (RB) Denver Broncos – Williams sat out Week 5 and was a limited participant in Monday’s practice. He was a game-time call last week. However, he was close to playing. Williams is set to return in Week 6. We’ll have more in Discord as the week progresses. Khalil Herbert (RB) Chicago Bears – First, the Bears lost Roschon Johnson to a concussion. Second, Khalil Herbert was felled by a high-ankle sprain. Herbert is expected to miss 2-4 weeks. However, Johnson must clear the league’s concussion protocol before he can practice. Finally, D’Onta Foreman should be added on waivers. Foreman hasn’t played since Week 1. However, he may be the only healthy back Chicago can play against Minnesota. Tank Dell (WR) Houston Texans – A concussion forced Dell to miss the second half of Houston’s last-second loss in Atlanta. Subsequently, Dell will have to clear the NFL’s concussion protocol before he can return to action. John Metchie would see an increased role if Dell misses Sunday’s home tilt with New Orleans. Deshaun Watson (QB) Cleveland Browns – The Browns list Watson as day-to-day with a shoulder injury. Watson was a surprise scratch last week. If Watson misses Week 6, P.J. Walker will start on Sunday. However, it might be wise to simply avoid whoever is under center against the 49ers. Dalton Kincaid (TE) Buffalo Bills – Kincaid is in the NFL’s concussion protocol. The Bills had an awful trip abroad, losing to the Jaguars and getting decimated by costly injuries. Furthermore, the Bills don’t play until Sunday Night Football, which complicates Kincaid’s fantasy availability. Aaron Jones (RB) Green Bay Packers – Jones sat out Monday’s loss with a bothersome hamstring. This came
Fantasy Football Injury Rundown

In a game like football, that embraces speed and hits, injuries are inevitable. It’s unfortunate, but the hope is that no player suffers any debilitating ailment. Now, let’s break down all the latest fantasy-relevant injury news in this week’s Fantasy Football Injury Rundown. We will continually update this list. Week 5 BYES: Cleveland Browns, Los Angeles Chargers, Seattle Seahawks, Tampa Bay Buccaneers Fantasy Football Injury Rundown: Week 5 Amon-Ra St. Brown (WR) Detroit Lions – The Lions should have no problem with Carolina on Sunday. However, they’ll have to win without their top wideout. Amon-Ra St. Brown was downgraded to DOUBTFUL on Friday with an abdominal injury. Josh Reynolds (groin) is also questionable. Also, RB Jahmyr Gibbs was added to the injury report and listed as questionable with a hamstring injury. Any late-week injuries are always a concern. Particularly hamstring ailments. Could be a game to target Marvin Jones or even Jameson Williams. However, the real benefactor will be T.J. Hockenson. UPDATE: Gibbs has been downgraded to doubtful. I have removed him from the Week 5 projections. The #Lions are listing WR Amon-Ra St. Brown (abdomen) as doubtful for Sunday’s game vs. Carolina pic.twitter.com/CXccav8yOL — Ari Meirov (@MySportsUpdate) October 6, 2023 Mike Evans (WR) Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Evans exited Week 4’s victory with a hamstring strain. He will undergo an MRI but the early diagnosis is it was a mild strain. With the Bucs having a Week 5 bye, the hope is that Evans won’t miss any time. Tee Higgins (WR) Cincinnati Bengals – Higgins fractured a rib in Cincinnati’s Week 4 loss to the Titans. A typical rib fracture can take 3-4 weeks to heal. However, Higgins indicated that he plans to play through the pain. With the Bengals looking at a Week 7 bye, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see Higgins out until Week 8 in what is increasingly looking like a lost season. Of course, Higgins is set to hit the open market and could be motivated to push for an earlier return. UPDATE: Higgins has been ruled OUT this week. That puts Tyler Boyd in as a replacement. Cooper Kupp (WR) Los Angeles Rams – Kupp (hamstring) will practice this week. The Rams want Kupp to be close to 100%. However, there are doubts that he is there yet. We will know more by the end of the week. Consider him questionable. UPDATE: Kupp will play. Fire him up. Justin Herbert (QB) Los Angeles Chargers – Herbert fractured a finger and suffered a nail injury to his left (non-throwing) hand. Herbert re-entered the game with a splint and later had a glove on his left hand. The Chargers are off this week, which gives Herbert an extra week to heal. However, he shouldn’t miss any time. Javonte Williams (RB) Denver Broncos – Williams could miss a week or two with a hip flexor injury. Jaleel McLaughlin looked good in relief. Also, the club has Samaje Perine. Williams isn’t expected to miss more than a week, at most. UPDATE: Williams has practiced. However, Jaleel McLaughlin is expected to see an increased role. Williams is a risky start in a tough matchup. Kenny Pickett (QB) Pittsburgh Steelers – Pickett hurt his left knee in Houston and was unable to finish the game. It was diagnosed as a bone bruise. A report out of Pittsburgh indicated that Picket plans to practice on Wednesday, which is a good sign for his Week 5 availability. UPDATE: Pickett is good to go. Pat Freiermuth (TE) Pittsburgh Steelers – The Steelers will also be without one of Pickett’s top targets for multiple weeks. Friermuth suffered a hamstring injury in Houston and is expected to miss multiple weeks. Connor Heyward will see an increased role in Friermuth’s absence. Also, second-round rookie Darnell Washington played 43% of snaps in Week 4. However, Washington is employed as an in-line blocker and has one target all season. Donald Parham (TE) Los Angeles Chargers – The Chargers are off in Week 5. That gives Parham extra time to heal his wrist. X-rays were negative, so Parham’s availability will have to be re-evaluated before the Chargers host the Cowboys. Saquon Barkley (RB) New York Giants – Barkley missed his second consecutive game Monday. There was optimism that he would suit up. But he was unable to face Seattle. We will update Barkley’s Week 5 availability in Discord. Jimmy Garoppolo (QB) Las Vegas Raiders – Garoppolo couldn’t clear the NFL’s concussion protocol for Week 4. However, he should do so this week. That would put Garoppolo in line to start on Monday. UPDATE: Garoppolo cleared the league’s protocol and will start Week 5. Elijah Mitchell (RB) San Francisco 49ers – Mitchell (knee) is OUT. Jordan Mason will serve as San Fran’s RB2. Josh Whyle (TE) Tennesse Titans – Whyle suffered an ankle injury in Week 4. However, Whyle won’t miss any time. Matthew Judon (LB) New England Patriots – A torn bicep will keep Judon sidelined for 2-3 months. New England also lost first-round CB Christian Gonzalez. The Patriots are already struggling to score points and now could have trouble stopping their opponents. Now, let’s break down all the latest fantasy-relevant injury news in this week’s Fantasy Football Injury Rundown. We will continually update this list. Fantasy Football Injury Rundown: Week 4 Mike Williams (WR) Los Angeles Chargers – The biggest injury to emerge from Week 3 was word that Williams tore his ACL. His 2023 campaign is over. This will mean a larger role for Joshua Palmer and Quentin Johnston. Also, Keenan Allen is the best bet to lead the league in targets. David Montgomery (RB) Detroit Lions – Good news out of Detroit. RB David Montgomery is trending toward being active on Thursday. Missing only one game would be great news for Montgomery. However, it would take some touches away from Jahmyr Gibbs. Dan Campbell said he’s feeling better about LT Taylor Decker and RB David Montgomery being able to play Thursday in Green Bay. — Tim Twentyman (@ttwentyman) September 26, 2023 Saquon Barkley (RB) New York Giants – Barkley practiced in a limited capacity Tuesday. It was announced last week that he was suffering from a high-ankle sprain. That’s concerning news. However, Barkley is a fast healer. Also, the Giants have an additional day since their Week 4 game is on Monday. Of course, this isn’t great news from a fantasy perspective as a late-game scratch would leave fantasy managers with no recourse. Unless it’s announced for certain, plan on finding another alternative to Barkley for at least one more week. Deebo Samuel (WR) San Francisco 49ers – Samuel is dealing with a rib injury. However, X-rays were negative. We should know more about his Week 4 status in the coming days and will update accordingly. For now, there isn’t a lot of concern. Christian Watson (WR) Green Bay Packers – A hamstring injury has kept Watson out of Green Bay’s first three games. However, things are looking good for Week 4. The Packers plan on Thursday. And the early talk is that Watson will make his 2023 debut. Also, we will know well in advance if Watson will be active. I’ll have an update in the FullTime Fantasy Discord before kickoff. Patrick Mahomes (QB) Kansas City Chiefs – Superstar QB Pat Mahomes had his right ankle rolled up. Mahomes had a noticeable limp. However, he was able to finish the game without issue. We view this as a non-factor. Jaylen Waddle (WR) Miami Dolphins – Waddle missed Miami’s historic Week 3 win with a head injury. Waddle has not been cleared but the team remains optimistic that he will return before Sunday’s game in Buffalo. Aaron Jones (RB) Green Bay Packers – Green Bay is also expected to have Aaron Jones back in the lineup after a one-week absence. Jones tweaked his hamstring in Week 2 but was close to playing Sunday. Anthony Richardson (QB) Indianapolis Colts – Richardson remains in the league’s concussion protocol. Shane Steichen announced Richardson will resume the starting job once he is cleared. The Colts host the LA Rams on Sunday. Tee Higgins (WR) Cincinnati Bengals – Higgins had a rough night that culminated in him exiting in the third quarter with cramps. However, the injury isn’t a concern. He’ll look to get back on track this week against Tennessee’s 28th-ranked secondary. Derek Carr (QB) New Orleans Saints – Carr is week to week with a sprained AC joint. Expect Jameis Winston to start Week 4 against his former team, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Jimmy Garoppolo (QB) Las Vegas Raiders – Garoppolo entered the NFL’s concussion protocol following Las Vegas’ Week 3 loss. Boston Scott (RB) Philadephia Eagles – Philly’s No. 3 back missed Monday with a concussion. Scott will have to progress through the league’s protocol before he can return to action. Irv Smith (TE) Cincinnati Bengals – Smith missed Week 3 via the dreaded hamstring injury. We will have more updates in Discord as Week 4 progresses. River Cracraft (WR) Miami Dolphins – A shoulder injury will sideline Cracraft for multiple weeks. Quez Watkins (WR) Philadelphia Eagles – Watkins missed Week 3 with a hamstring injury. Olamide Zaccheaus filled in as WR3. Neither Philadelphia ancillary wideout is on the fantasy radar. Tylan Wallace (WR) Baltimore Ravens – The Ravens placed Wallace (hamstring) on IR. The earliest he can return is Week 8. The 2023 NFL season is underway but it’s not too late to get access to the best help out there! Now, let’s break down all the latest fantasy-relevant injury news in this week’s Fantasy Football Injury Rundown. Also, we will continually update this list as more news is confirmed. Fantasy Football Injury Rundown: Week 3 Nick Chubb (RB) Cleveland Browns – Unfortunately, Chubb’s 2023 season is over after a devastating left knee injury. Chubb previously came back from a catastrophic injury to the same knee at Georgia. However, it is too early to tell if that will have any impact on the recovery of Monday’s injury. Jerome Ford becomes the top waiver wire priority for Week 3. Also, there are some rumblings of a reunion with Kareem Hunt. Browns’ HC Kevin Stefanski told reporters that he expects RB Nick Chubb to be out for the season with a significant knee injury. — Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) September 19, 2023 Saquon Barkley (RB) New York Giants – A sprained ankle is expected to sideline Barkley for 2-3 weeks. Even though he is reportedly doing better than expected in his recovery, there is no chance Barkley will play on short rest in Week 3. The positive here is Barkley avoided a high-ankle sprain and that he’s trending positively. Matt Breida would log starts for any games Barkley misses. Austin Ekeler (RB) Los Angeles Chargers – What was quite an under-the-radar ankle injury last week looks much more concerning heading into Week 3. In comments to the media after LA’s second-consecutive loss, Brandon Staley said there is no timetable for when Ekeler could be back in the Chargers’ lineup. This is obviously a big blow for fantasy managers and the Chargers, who have a pivotal game against the winless Vikings this week. Joshua Kelley dominated snaps in Week 2 and should continue to act as the club’s main back as long as Ekeler is absent. Joe Burrow (QB) Cincinnati Bengals – It could be a while before we see a fully healthy Joe Burrow. Cincinnati’s QB is still dealing with that calf injury. Zac Taylor indicated that Burrow is questionable to play in Week 3. With the Bengals scheduled for Monday, fantasy managers should consider all other options. Anthony Richardson (QB) Indianapolis Colts – Richardson’s second game was off to a promising start before he self-reported concussion symptoms and left the game in the second quarter. The first-round rookie is in the league’s concussion protocol. It could be difficult for him to be cleared in time to suit up in Baltimore. As of now, it’s looking like Gardner Minshew is likely to draw the Week 3 start. We will keep the FullTime Fantasy Discord channel appraised. David Montgomery (RB) Detroit Lions – A quad injury will keep Montgomery out for a game or two. This may, or may not mean a bigger role for Jahmyr Gibbs. After Montgomery exited on Sunday, Craig Reynolds began seeing snaps immediately. Also, the club promoted Zonoan Knight from the practice squad on Tuesday. Fortunatley, the injury isn’t particularly concerning, so it may only cost Montgomery 1-2 games. Brandon Aiyuk (WR) San Francisco 49ers – A CT scan revealed that Aiyuk’s clavicle is intact. This is good news. Aiyuk’s availability on Thursday will come down to pain tolerance. We will have an update in Discord once there is some clarity. Jamaal Williams (RB) New Orleans Saints – Williams hurt his hamstring in the second quarter and was unable to return to action. Williams has been inefficient but got a lot of opportunities in his game and a half. If he misses Week 3, Tony Jones would likely draw the start, with Kendre Miller likely to make his debut. Also, this is the final week that the Saints won’t have Alvin Kamara, who is due to return in Week 4. Williams’s potential to be an RB2/3 is on very shaky ground. Brandin Cooks (WR) Dallas Cowboys – After sitting out Week 2 with a sprained MCL, Cooks is trending toward a Week 3 return per Jerry Jones. This would actually be a surprise as MCL injuries generally take 2-3 to fully recover from. We would advise proceeding with caution this week in regards to starting Cooks. Diontae Johnson (WR) Pittsburgh Steelers – Johnson was placed on Injured Reserve by the Steelers. The earliest he will return is Week 7. Pittsburgh’s offense has looked stagnant. But Johnson is too good of a player to cut bait. Fantasy managers with IR slots have no choice but to play the waiting game. Chris Evans (RB) Cincinnati Bengals – Evans missed Week 2 with a hamstring injury. Trayveon Williams earned a 22% snap share with Evans sidelined. Now, let’s break down all the latest fantasy-relevant injury news in this week’s Fantasy Football Injury Rundown. Also, we will continually update this list as more news is confirmed. Fantasy Football Injury Rundown: Week 2 Aaron Rodgers (QB) New York Jets – Potentially the most impactful injury occurred after only four plays on Monday. Rodgers was sacked and initially stood up. However, he sat back down on the turf and eventually was carted to the locker room. X-rays were negative. However, the fantasy world is embracing itself for a lengthy absence due to fears of an Achilles injury, which would end his season. Head coach Robert Saleh said the prognosis “is not good” for Rodgers. UPDATE: An MRI confirmed that Rodgers suffered a ruptured Achilles and will miss the rest of 2023. J.K. Dobbins (RB) Baltimore Ravens – The biggest blow from Sunday came when Baltimore’s starting running back was once again felled by a season-ending injury. This time, Dobbins tore his Achilles in the third quarter. Dobbins missed the entire 2021 season and half of the 2022 campaign recovering from a knee injury. Achilles ruptures are notoriously difficult to recover from, putting Dobbins’ dynasty value in peril. Obviously, he’ll miss the rest of 2023 and can be released in redraft leagues. Justice Hill is the priority waiver wire add. However, Gus Edwards and Melvin Gordon will also be involved. Diontae Johnson (WR) Pittsburgh Steelers – Pittsburgh’s star wideout was unable to get up after hurting his hamstring on a 26-yard catch-and-run. Subsequently, Johnson was immediately ruled out. That’s worrisome. Expect him to miss multiple weeks. That’s a huge loss for an offense that really sputtered in Week 1. Calvin Austin would be the next man up for the Steelers. UPDATE: Johnson will miss “a few weeks.” Anthony Richardson (QB) Indianapolis Colts – Richardson missed Indy’s final drive of their opening loss with an ankle injury. However, Shane Steichen told reporters Monday that the injury wasn’t serious and Richardson was held out as a precaution. Assuming he’s clear, Richardson will be a QB1 against Houston in Week 2. Mark Andrews (TE) Baltimore Ravens – Andrews was ruled out for Week 1 with a quad injury. He practiced during the week and it’s possible the Ravens just held Andrews out as a precaution in a game where they were double-digit home favorites. We should know more in the days ahead. Travis Kelce (TE) Kansas City Chiefs – A hyperextended knee kept Kelce out of Thursday’s game. Considering the decision to hold Kelce out went right up until game time, there is optimism that he’ll be good to go this week. We will keep a close eye on practice reports throughout the week. Jerry Jeudy (WR) Denver Broncos – Hamstrings were particularly troublesome for some wide receivers late in the preseason. That ailment kept Jeudy out of Denver’s Week 1 loss to Las Vegas. However, Jeudy wasn’t ruled out until late on Sunday. That is a reason for some optimism for Week 2. Greg Dulcich (TE) Denver Broncos – Dulcich will miss “multiple weeks” with yet another hamstring injury. Adam Trautman is the next man up for Denver. Christian Watson (WR) Green Bay Packers – Yet another hamstring injury kept Watson out last Sunday. Fortunately, the Packers did need his services to dispatch the Bears. The early diagnosis is Watson will be cleared to face Atlanta. We’ll monitor the recovery process this week and update the Discord channel. Aaron Jones (RB) Green Bay Packers – While we’re on the topic of hamstrings, Jones injured his housing his second touchdown of the game. First, it didn’t seem too serious as he was able to keep jogging. Secondly, the initial diagnosis is optimistic. However, hamstrings can be tricky. Especially for running backs. Jakobi Meyers (WR) Las Vegas Raiders – Meyers had a huge debut in Las Vegas but was forced from the game after taking a brutal helmet-to-helmet shot. He’s entered the league’s concussion protocol and won’t be able to practice until he is fully cleared. Pat Freiermuth (TE) Pittsburgh Steelers – Muth was limited to 32 snaps while dealing with a chest injury. The good news is that he was able to finish the game. It doesn’t seem like anything serious. Evan Hull (RB) Indianapolis Colts – The rookie rusher will miss multiple weeks with a knee injury. Also, Deon Jackson was predictably awful, making Zach Moss a priority waiver target in a tasty Week 2 matchup against the Texans. D.J. Chark (WR) Carolina Panthers – A hamstring injury kept Chark out of Carolina’s season-opening loss. The club is hopeful Chark will be able to suit up against the Saints. Graham Gano (PK) New York Giants – Gano hurt his calf during New York’s Week 1 humiliation. Gano missed both of his field goal attempts before going down. Considering how poorly the Giants played on Sunday night, there is no reason to roster Gano in fantasy leagues right now. Kenneth Gainwell (RB) Philadelphia Eagles – Gainwell is dealing with a rib injury. It isn’t considered serious, but the Eagles do play on Thursday, giving him little time to heal. D’Andre Swift should see more than two touches regardless. The 2023 NFL season is underway but it’s not too late to get access to the best help out there!
