MLB DFS Box score Recap for Monday, May 7th

What a wild night last night was — there were so many low owned teams that had some high scores associated with them but it wasn’t enough of a differentiation as so many high owned players also went off. PITCHING Zach Eflin — $6400 — 57 points Fernandeo Romero — 6400 — 55 Dallas Keuchel — 8800 — 43 Kyle Hendricks — 7900 — 37 Stephen Strasburg — 10k — 37 Big news here is that the chalk Strasburg only hit 37 and two 6k range guys got up into the 50’s as the best scores. Eflin was really good against a popular Giants team last night. CATCHERS Max Stassi — 21.9 Jonathan Lucroy — 15.5 Victor Caratini — 15.4 FIRST BASE Matt Adams — 50.9 Adrian Gonzalez — 43.6 Marwin Gonzalez — 38.7 SECOND BASE Cesar Hernandez — 34.4 Scooter Gennett — 31.4 Javy Baez — 25.7 THIRD BASE Kris Bryant — 40.6 Eugenio Suarez — 27.9 Anthony Rendon — 24.9 Alex Bregman — 22 SHORTSTOP Trea Turner — 31.1 Addison Russell — 25.4 Amed Rosario — 15.5 OUTFIELD Odubel Herrera — 54.1 George Springer — 53.3 Ian Happ — 47.9 Leonys Martin — 34.4 Jay Bruce — 31.2 Nomar Mazara — 27.9 Robbie Grossman — 22.2 Nick Castellanos — 21.7 Michael Conforto — 21.7 Manual Margot — 21.7 BEST OVERALL LINEUP Eflin, A-Gone, Cesar, Bryant, Turner, Herrera, Springer, Happ, Adams … 412.9 OBSERVATION Last night was a great example of the type of night where you do not need to force a stack in to win. Lots of high recommended players who were in really good match-ups who came through. Specifically Springer, Turner, Leonys Martin and Kris Bryant. All four from different teams and if you had 2 of them you were definitely off to a good start to mix them in with some of the other popular plays on the slate.
