FFWC World Championship Draft Review

Another fantasy football draft season is already underway at the Fantasy Football World Championship. Some of the best and brightest in the FFWC world joined an early Fantasy Football World Championship draft. This FFWC World Championship Draft Review recaps the draft. FFWC World Championship Leagues World Championship Leagues are a great way to start off your 2025 draft season. FFWC leagues are full-season leagues where you set a lineup each week, with FAAB and FCFS roster management. Drafters get a convenient chance to show off their skills from their own homes or LIVE in Las Vegas while playing to become the ultimate fantasy football champion. In FFWC World Championship leagues, you can win $12,000 for simply winning your league of 12, with a grand prize of $150,000! These are 20-round drafts that use PPR scoring. Starting lineups include 1 QB – 2 RB – 3 WR – 1 TE – 2 FLEX (RB-WR-TE) – 1 DST.  No trades are allowed. Here are the results from a recent FFWC draft. Roster Construction As is typical in FFWC drafts, quarterbacks were targeted later than expected. The first QB, Lamar Jackson, wasn’t selected until the 63rd pick. After the ‘Big 5’ went in Rounds 6-7, we didn’t see another signal-caller drafted until Bo Nix got drafted with the 126th pick! 95% of the first 60 picks were RBs or WRs. This season, it feels like there is more value in drafting from the back end. Teams 8-10 loaded up on running backs, taking rushers with nine of their first 12 total picks in the first four rounds. Meanwhile, Teams 4-7 went the other way, selecting WRs with an incredible 14 of their first 16 combined picks (87.5%). That heavy reliance on a particular position led to some unique and distinct builds. It also resulted in some picks that stood out as both good and bad values.   Draft Bargains Jonathan Taylor (3.9) – Taylor is a dark horse to lead the league in rushing. This is as late as I’ve seen Taylor go. Excellent value for Lyons. Kyren Williams (3.10) – Every summer, fantasy football wants to write off Kyren Williams due to his metrics. However, all he has done is be a phenomenal fantasy back. And his recent extension should quell concerns about Jarquez Hunter or Blake Corum (ha) eating into his monster 87% snap share. Jakobi Meyers (7.11) – Meyers was WR20 last season and WR27 in 2023. He got an upgraded coaching staff, running game, and a significantly improved quarterback. Meyers is still the team’s WR1 and should remain heavily targeted by Geno Smith. One of my favorite WR3 targets, yet Team 11 got him as a WR5. Jerome Ford (12.7) – Quinshon Judkins remains unsigned, with no timetable for/when he’ll play. Ford is in a prime position to open the season as Cleveland’s starter, possibly splitting touches with Dylan Sampson. Ford was RB16 in 2023 and RB33 last year. Excellent value as the RB55. Questionable Selections Zach Charbonnet (RB30) – What are we doing here? In games where Kenneth Walker played, Charbonnet averaged just four carries. This is at least two rounds too early unless you rostered Walker. I don’t see Charbonnet having standalone value, making him a poor choice as a team’s RB2. Speaking of Walker, he was an excellent draft bargain for Mr. Yellow Stickers at RB17. Dont’e Thronton (WR48) – I’m a fan of Thornton. Scooped him up as a fourth-round value in multiple dynasty rookie drafts. But targeting the rookie as a low-end WR4? I respect Frankie and think he’s one of the sharpest minds out there, but it feels like Thornton could have been drafted several rounds later. Colston Loveland (TE6) – This is spicy. I actually like Loveland- a lot. But this team might have been better served by adding to their lack of WR depth. I don’t hate this pick, just wanted to include it in this write-up as a risk/reward move. Jard Goff (QB10) – In what looks to be a dynasty-influenced build, I question the logic in taking a QB2 this early. Worse, I have Goff some 10 spots lower than this. He lost his play-caller and faces a tougher schedule, including six outdoor games. This team is loaded up on Lions, and if Goff regresses, it will struggle. Top Contenders Team 7 – Even after starting off with four straight wide receivers, this team got a pair of values (James Conner/Tony Pollard) at running back. In addition, they secured the game’s top QB as the third signal-caller. Team 4 – Love the first four wideouts, then the targeting of this talented rookie RB class. BOOMCRUSH also got a good tight end and nice value in QB Dak Prescott. Team 11 – This team got what I call my ‘dram start’, opening with Malik Nabers and Brian Thomas Jr. They also snagged Trey McBride in Round 3, giving them my top tight end and two of my top-5 wideouts. However, the running back room is terrible, with no team starters and a heavy reliance on handcuffs. Teams 9-12 are also positioned well.   WARNING! Don’t let a fancy website fool you! Running Back Surging Up Draft Boards

Emerging Running Back Surging Up Draft Boards   As the calendar flips to August, the fantasy football landscape begins taking shape. Players are moving up and down draft boards based on training camp performances, coach-speak, or injuries. Despite scoring 14 touchdowns in 31 career NFL games, fantasy managers often overlook Kansas City’s Isiah Pacheco due to his lack of production in the passing game. Following the departure of veteran back Jerrick McKinnon that is all about to change in 2024. Betting vs Fantasy Movement Series:  Big Expectations For Rookie RB  | Elite RB Vegas is Fading | RB Ascending Up Early Draft Boards | WR Who May Struggle To Fulfill ADP Value  A major component of my success playing high-stakes fantasy football at the FFWC is incorporating player projections of oddsmakers into my NFL model. I began creating my model back in 2010 when I created the only over-the-counter DFS program offered to date in a Las Vegas sportsbook. Here at FullTime Fantasy, we’ve assembled the very best high-stakes players in the world; 5 of the Top 10 World-Ranked players, and one of the top RANKERS in the country — to help you win your Fantasy Football league. Nobody else in the industry can bring you this type of information. Also, we host the Fantasy Football World Championships and these players are gracious enough to lend us a hand to help promote the very best content in the industry.   Profile   Fresh off career highs in rushing yards (935, rushing touchdowns (7), receptions (44), receiving yards (244), and receiving touchdowns (2) the hard-nosed back is poised to have career-highs in his third season playing with Patrick Mahomes & Co.    Isiah Pacheco is the first running back in NFL history to start and win two Super Bowl titles in his first two seasons! 🔥 pic.twitter.com/XFkUhAfe0V — Brad Henson Productions (@BradHensonPro) July 30, 2024   Subsequently, the former Rutgers standout, who was being drafted in the fourth round of early July Circa Championships, is flying up recent draft boards. The powerful talent currently owns an ADP of 18,7 / RB7 being grabbed in the middle of the second round.   VEGAS ODDSMAKERS & FANTASY OWNERS LISTENING TO ANDY REID   Kansas City head coach Andy Reid recently shared that Pacheco is ready to fill the club’s third-down role – making him a potential bell-cow back. “Pacheco is ready to be able to do all that,” said Reid. “He’s good with the protections, he’s good with the technique and fundamentals, he can run all the routes, he’s got great hands.”   #Chiefs HC Andy Reid on which RB will fill the 3rd-down role, with Jerick McKinnon gone: “[Isiah Pacheco]’s ready to be able to do all that. He’s good with the protections, he’s good with the technique and fundamentals, he can run all the routes, he’s got great hands.” Reid… pic.twitter.com/zQmPg0TkNI — The Coachspeak Index (@CoachspeakIndex) August 2, 2024   Oddsmakers, who initially installed Pacheco with a rushing yard betting projection of 850.5, have raised the tailback up to a betting demand of 900.5 at DraftKings. A solid investment for bettors involves his receiving yards market of 250.5 – a number he will go beyond with ease in an expanded role as the third-down back.  “In Circa Championship drafts held in late July, Pacheco was an absolute steal in the late third/early fourth round. That ADP value is a thing of the past as the starting RB for the defending Super Bowl champion is now a high second-round pick. ” – Frankie Taddeo   Isiah Pacheco gets some big blocks and finds the end zone. 😤 @isiah_pachecoRB 📺: #KCvsNYJ on NBC⁰📱: Stream on #NFLPlus https://t.co/cLJQ8MOopx pic.twitter.com/Kggr7MHXay — NFL (@NFL) October 2, 2023   Finally, in the Chiefs’ postseason run to a third championship in the last four years, Pacheco was on the field for 74% of the snaps. That heavy workload will carry over to this season. With a dangerous quartet of Travis Kelce, Rashee Rice, Hollywood Brown, and Xavier Worthy at the disposal of three-time Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes, opposing defenses will not be able to stack the box to stop Pacheco. Expect the hard-running back to continue his upward career trajectory –  becoming a sure-fire top-end RB1 in fantasy football in 2024.   Get on the Road to the World Championships for just $50 by visiting the FFWC Draft Lobby today! High-Stakes Draft Sees Anthony Richardson Go QB1

Anthony Richardson

High-Stakes Draft Sees Anthony Richardson Go QB1 In Latest Circa Championship Draft   In the latest Circa Las Vegas Fantasy Championship draft on Saturday night, managers witnessed the first real shock of the 2024 fantasy football season. Indianapolis Colts dual-threat quarterback Anthony Richardson was drafted as the overall QB1. The second-year signal-caller shockingly came off the board at 5.8 a near full round ahead of Josh Allen (6.6) as well as two rounds ahead of Patrick Mahomes (7.2), C.J. Stroud (7.6) and Jalen Hurts (7.9). Betting Movement Series:  Big Expectations For Rookie RB  | Elite RB Vegas is Fading | RB Ascending Up Early Draft Boards | WR Who May Struggle To Fulfill ADP value Is a player who has only played in four career NFL games worthy of being drafted first among all quarterbacks in re-draft leagues in 2024? Let’s dive in. Play Dynasty? Take a shot and become Dynasty King! $299 Entry, $2,875 in lg prizes + $10K Grand Prize w a $2K Dynasty King Bonus!   Richardson Goes QB1   Obviously, fantasy managers are high on Richardson after seeing him throw for three touchdowns while also rushing for four touchdowns prior to suffering a season-ending shoulder injury in Week 5 against the Titans. The talented quarterback has seen his stock rise this summer owning an ADP of 74.2 / QB4. Last month, Richardson was the overall QB6 but has since moved ahead of both C.J. Stroud and Joe Burrow. However, this past weekend the hype reached a fever pitch when the former Flordia Gator stand-out came off the board ahead of arguably the best players at the position. Richardson has fantasy managers all-in as their QB1 due to his recent comments that he will not shy away from running the ball despite being injured last season on a rushing attempt. “My legs have always been one of my superpowers,” said Richardson recently. “So, trying to take that away from me, I don’t think that’s a good thing for this offense. It’s just more so me playing a little bit smarter and learning how to take care of myself and my teammates. Knowing when to make the right play and knowing when to try to get the extra few yards. Don’t take my legs away, but just be more smart.”     #Colts QB Anthony Richardson on HC Shane Steichen trusting him to make the right reads as a runner: “My legs always been one of my superpowers. So, trying to take that away from me, I don’t think that’s a good thing for this offense.” Adds that Jonathan Taylor will help, too. pic.twitter.com/Hs3n85n0pA — James Boyd (@RomeovilleKid) July 25, 2024 WHAT ARE THE ODDSMAKERS SAYING?   Despite only a small size, oddsmakers are bullish on Richardson in betting markets listing him with a passing yards betting projection of 3200.5 at DraftKings. The biggest move involving Richardson involves his passing touchdown number which opened at 15.5 but has since steamed to 18.5. His rushing yards betting demand has risen from 500.5 to 550.5 while his rushing touchdown number has held steady at 7.5 “Despite intriguing rushing talent, I am not willing to draft Richardson ahead of Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen or Jalen Hurts.” – Frankie Taddeo In comparison, Josh Allen has betting projections of 3750.5 passing yards, 27.5 passing touchdowns, 480.5 rushing yards, and 9.5 rushing touchdowns. Despite only having a betting rushing yards projection of 329.5, Patrick Mahomes owns the highest passing yards demand of 4350.5 as well as the highest passing touchdowns number at 34.5. Meanwhile, Jalen Hurts owns a passing yards number of 3600.5, 22.5 passing touchdowns, 550.5 rushing yards, and 9.5 rushing touchdowns projection.  Purely from a statistical betting perspective, it is very hard to defend drafting Richardson ahead of any of the top three options.     Anthony Richardson has two rushing TDs less than six minutes into the game! 📺: #INDvsHOU on FOX⁰📱: Stream on #NFLPlus https://t.co/FhXtx7w3wW pic.twitter.com/QfJYDVcoD2 — NFL (@NFL) September 17, 2023   There may be no bigger boom or bust pick at the quarterback position in 2024 than Richardson. His current ADP at the FFWC of QB4, behind only Allen, Hurts and Mahomes seems a bit high to me. While being in the same tier as Jackson, Stroud, Burrow, Love, and Prescott I will certainly own shares of A-Rich, but I will not be investing premium round draft capital nor will I ever draft him ahead of Allen, Hurts, or Mahomes.   Get on the Road to the World Championships for just $50 by visiting the FFWC Draft Lobby today! Second-Year RB Ascending Early Draft Boards

Bijan Robinson Atlanta Falcons

Second-Year RB Ascending Early Draft Boards THIS RB1 WENT OFF THE BOARD NO. 1 OVERALL IN THE LATEST CIRCA CHAMPIONSHIP DRAFT! Long-time Las Vegas gambler and ranked high-stakes fantasy player Frank Taddeo (@RespectedMoney on X) is always watching Vegas oddsmakers to identify best bets and fantasy values. Thus far in our summer series here at Fulltime Fantasy, we have highlighted several players that have witnessed significant betting and fantasy football draft position movement. We dove into a rookie running back expected to make a major impact, a wideout who may struggle to return fair ADP value as well as an elite running back being faded by oddsmakers. A major component of my success playing high-stakes fantasy football at the FFWC is incorporating player projections of oddsmakers into my NFL model. I began creating my model back in 2010 when I created the only over-the-counter DFS program offered to date in a Las Vegas sportsbook. Year Two Breakout The latest installment leads us to second-year Falcons running back Bijan Robinson. The former Texas Longhorns standout gained 976 rushing yards (57.4 per game) in his rookie season while adding four rushing touchdowns. Bijan Robinson’s rookie season stats: • 17 games • 976 rushing yards • 4.6 yards per carry • 58 catches • 487 receiving yards • 86.1 scrimmage YPG • 8 TDs#Falcons pic.twitter.com/cepuXuVkGp — NFL Stats (@NFL_Stats) July 13, 2024 In the air, Robinson hauled in 58 receptions for 487 receiving yards and four additional touchdowns. A deeper dive reveals that Robinson finished tied for second with New Orleans RB Alvin Kamara for the most RB Targets (86) behind only Jets RB Breece Hall (95). The dynamic threat accomplished the impressive feat of finishing ahead of the consensus No. 1 pick Christian McCaffrey (83) in this category – despite questionable usage by the Falcons coaching staff. Fantasy managers are investing premium draft capital in Robinson in early FFWC drafts. The former Doak Walker Award winner owns an ADP of 5.7 / RB2.  In the latest Circa Championship draft on 7/13, Robinson was selected No. 1 overall for the first time this fantasy season. He lept over CMC and CeeDee Lamb for the coveted top spot. Vegas Oddsmakers & Early Drafters in Agreement New Falcons Offensive Coordinator Zac Robinson recently revealed Robinson will be featured in a “CMC role” in his sophomore campaign. Vegas insiders and the fantasy community both love the Falcons’ new staff.  “Bijan’s such a talented player,” said Zac Robinson. “He’s gonna play running back, first and foremost — and then anyway we can find creative ways to get him the ball like the Niners do with Christian McCaffrey is exactly right.” #Falcons OC Zac Robinson on Bijan Robinson being used like CMC: “Bijan’s such a talented player. He’s gonna play running back, first and foremost — and then any way we can find creative ways to get him the ball like the Niners do with Christian McCaffrey is exactly right.” pic.twitter.com/6x01Gwp3Cv — The Coachspeak Index (@CoachspeakIndex) June 5, 2024 Oddsmakers, who initially installed Robinson with a rushing yard betting projection of 900.5, have raised the tailback up to a betting demand of 1000.5 at DraftKings. The boys behind the betting counter clearly view the comments by the new Falcons staff as more than just “Coach Speak”.  “In Circa Championship drafts held in June, I was able to grab Bijan at the back end of Round 1. That late-round value is a thing of the past as the electric talent is now a near-consensus Top 5 pick. ” – Frankie Taddeo Despite the presence of Tyler Allgeier, who often vultured goal line work last season, oddsmakers believe Robinson will receive heavy red zone volume. Robinson, who came off the board No. 1 in the latest Circa Championship draft, has witnessed the juice on his rushing touchdown projection of 6.5 steam from -105 to -130.
