Fantasy Football Injury Report

Christian McCaffrey

Summer is here, which means fantasy football draft season is just around the corner. Winter seems like a long time ago, and that means football fanatics have likely forgotten about injuries that could impact players’ status on draft day. FullTime‘s Fantasy Football Injury Report catches you up on the latest injury news ahead of redraft season. Some of these players had offseason ‘clean-up’ procedures. Meanwhile, others were hurt late in 2024, and we may have forgotten about those injuries. Here is the latest fantasy football injury report and how those ailments may impact 2025 drafts. Quarterbacks Dak Prescott (Dallas Cowboys) – A hamstring injury cost Prescott half of the 2024 season. However, he was on the field during OTAS, indicating that he is fully recovered. A fully healthy Prescott has a ton of sleeper appeal as a borderline QB1 who can be drafted late. Trevor Lawrence (Jacksonville Jaguars) – Lawrence had surgery on his non-throwing AC joint in December and dealt with a concussion. He participated in light duty while wearing an arm sleeve during OTAs. Reports indicate Lawrence is progressing well and will be a full participant in the preseason. Anthony Richardson (Indianapolis Colts) – One of last season’s most-hyped players, it’s been a steep and sudden decline for Anthony Richardson. From his erratic passing to the latest news that he aggravated the AC joint injury that limited his 2024 season, Richardson could lose his starting job to Daniel Jones. Richardson is currently expected to be back and compete with Jones in camp, but is barely draftable in single-QB formats. Deshaun Watson (Cleveland Browns) – Recovering from a torn Achilles, Watson is out of his walking boot and was throwing on the sidelines during OTAs. These are positive developments, as Watson appears to be ahead of pace in his recovery and keeping him away from massages. Still, with Joe Flacco and two rookies, the Browns won’t be in any hurry to rush him back into action. Running Backs Christian McCaffrey (San Francisco 49ers) – CMC has ‘zero restrictions’ in San Francisco’s offseason program. That’s great news for a player who suffered through an injury-marred 2024 campaign. Fantasy managers know the risk. When healthy, McCaffrey is at or near the top of the RB leaderboards. But the frequent injuries can be debilitating for fantasy rosters. One of the biggest risk/reward picks of the year. Joe Mixon (Houston Texans) – Mixon sat out OTAs while sporting a walking boot. The undiagnosed injury was listed as “minor,” but it is a worrisome development. Additionally, the signing of Nick Chubb is another blow to Mixon’s fantasy appeal. Earlier this offseason, Mixon was a strong RB2 value. Now, he is a considerably riskier investment. Jonathon Brooks (Carolina Panthers) – The Panthers placed Brooks (knee) on the season-ending PUP list on May 8. After only nine carries in his rookie campaign, the much-heralded running back will miss his sophomore season. Brooks is barely relevant in dynasty leagues and has no redraft value. Wide Receivers  Amon-Ra St. Brown (Detroit Lions) – One of the league’s best wideouts, St. Brown was sidelined during OTAs after undergoing a clean-up procedure on his right knee during the offseason. The surgery was considered minor and isn’t expected to impact his 2025 availability. Hopefully, it’s just procedural caution on the Lions’ part. Tyreek Hill (Miami Dolphins) – The wrist injury that lingered for most of last season is no longer considered a factor. However, it was a rough offseason for Hill, who remains a somewhat risky WR2 with top-5 upside if he and Tua Tagovailoa can stay off the fantasy football injury report. Chris Godwin (Tampa Bay Buccaneers) – Godwin is working his way back from his season-ending Week 7 ankle injury. GM Jason Licht indicated that he expects Godwin to be on the field for Week 1. Stefon Diggs (New England Patriots) – Diggs was at OTAs, which bodes well for his 2025 availability. He tore his ACL in October but is already back participating in speedboat practice activities. He’s got a decent shot at being ready for Week 1. David Bell (Cleveland Browns) – Bell missed most of 2024 after suffering a season-ending dislocated hip in Week 2. He should be back to compete for the WR4 role in the preseason. Expected to Miss Time in 2025 Brandon Aiyuk (San Francisco 49ers) – Head coach Kyle Shanahan indicated that Aiyuk (knee) is a candidate to open the season on the PUP list. If that happens, he’ll miss at least the first four games. Aiyuk tore his ACL in late October and won’t participate in the preseason. He’s a risk/reward target in the middle rounds. Christian Watson (Green Bay Packers) – The oft-injured Watson tore his ACL. However, that latest injury occurred in Week 18. Even an optimistic recovery timetable would see Watson missing at least half of this season. The addition of first-round rookie WR Matthew Golden tells us all we need to know about Watson’s (lack of) 2025 potential. Tank Dell (Houston Texans) – As a reminder, Dell is not expected to play in 2025. He suffered a devastating leg injury in Week 16. Dell dislocated his knee, tore his ACL, MCL, and LCL, and also injured his meniscus. The Texans added two Iowa State wide receivers on Day Two, all but signaling that Dell won’t play in 2025. Trent Taylor (San Francisco 49ers) – Taylor was placed on season-ending IR Moose Muhammad III (Carolina Panthers) – The undrafted free agent out of Texas A&M, Muhammad was waived with an injury designation. He went unclaimed on waivers and reverted to Carolina’s injured reserve. Tight Ends Kyle Pitts (Atlanta Falcons) – Pitts missed OTAs with a foot injury but has been present in the building for team meetings. He will return for training camp. Colston Loveland (Chicago Bears) – Chicago’s first-round rookie had offseason shoulder surgery, and it’s unknown if he will be fully ready to participate in camp when it opens. Taysom Hill (New Orleans Saints) –

However, WR Skyy Moore (core) was designated for return from IR and could be activated ahead of the game.   Once again, Andy Reid said the Chiefs have no injuries ahead of their on-field preparation this week for the Super Bowl. — Nate Taylor (@ByNateTaylor) February 4, 2025   Kareem Hunt (RB) Kansas City Chiefs – A quad injury kept Hunt limited in practice. However, he is listed as a full participant and will play. Kenneth Gainwell (RB) Philadelphia Eagles – Questionable (concussion). Dallas Goedert (TE) Philadelphia Eagles – Goedert has missed practice time. However, it is considered veteran rest. He will be in the starting lineup. DeVonta Smith (WR) Philadelphia Eagles – Smith (hamstring) was limited in last week’s practices. Smith was also limited on Wednesday. Cam Jurgens (LB) Philadephia Eagles – Jurgens is playing through a back injury. However, he told the media that he is “good to go” for Sunday.   Cam Jurgens says he is good to go for Super Bowl LIX Credits the trainers for getting him ready #Eagles pic.twitter.com/3yuAAkCJUz — Eliot Shorr-Parks (@EliotShorrParks) February 4, 2025 Landon Dickerson (OL) Philadelphia Eagles – Dickerson has missed practice time with a knee but is fully expected to be ready to roll for the Super Bowl. Brandon Graham (DE) Philadelphia Eagles – Graham has been out since tearing his tricep in Week 12. Graham will need to be activated off IR to play. The star pass rusher indicates he’s on track to play in what is expected to be his final NFL game. Britain Covey (WR) Philadelphia Eagles – Limited with a neck injury. Jalen Carter (DE) Philadelphia Eagles – Missed the media portion of Wednesday with an undisclosed illness.   The 2025 NFL season is just getting started and it’s time to get access to the best help out there! He will be good-to-go against Washington. UPDATE: Hurts will start. A.J. Brown (WR) Philadelphia Eagles – Listed as limited, but it was a veteran rest day. No concerns. UPDATE: Brown will start, as expected. Dallas Goedert (TE) Philadelphia Eagles – Goedert missed a pair of practices with an ankle ailment. However, he will start on Sunday. Zach Ertz (TE) Washington Commanders – Veteran rest day on Wednesday. UPDATE: Ertz is good to go. Dalton Kincaid (TE) Buffalo Bills – Kincaid (knee) participated fully in Wednesday’s walk-through. Olamide Zaccheaus (WR) Philadelphia Eagles – No injury designation. Britain Covey (WR) Philadelphia Eagles – Covey (neck) returned to practice, opening the 21-day window in which he can be activated from IR. Mecole Hardman (WR) Kansas City Chiefs – Andy Reid said that Hardman (knee) will not play again this season. Every other Kanas City player practiced in full. Christian Benford (CB) Buffalo Bills – Benford is in the NFL’s concussion protocol but was able to practice in a limited capacity Wednesday. That’s a good sign that he is trending toward playing this week. LB Matt Milano (hamstring) and S Taylor Rapp (hip) are also questionable. Sam Cosmi (RG) Washington Commanders – Big loss for Washginton’s offensive line. Cosmi tore his ACL in Detroit and will miss the rest of the season.   Sam Cosmi suffered a torn ACL in last night’s game Here’s to a quick recovery, 76 💪 pic.twitter.com/xobue5uupy — Washington Commanders (@Commanders) January 19, 2025 Quinyon Mitchell (CB) Washington Commanders – Mitchell is dealing with a shoulder injury but is expected to play. Dion Dawkins (LT) Buffalo Bills – Missed Wednesday’s walk-through with an undisclosed illness. Bobby Wagner (LB) Washington Commanders – Missed Wednesday’s practice with an ankle ailment. Zay Flowers (WR) Baltimore Ravens – Flowers missed the Wild Card game with a knee injury and still has not returned to practice. At this point, he is looking very questionable about suiting up against the Bills. Even if he can play, Flower could be limited. Rashod Bateman is looking like the best bet to be Baltimore’s WR1. David Montgomery (RB) Detroit Lions – After sitting out the last four weeks, Montgomery was a full participant at practice this week. He is expected to be back in his usual role. This boosts Detroit’s postseason run and gives the Lions a pair of RB1s for the NFC playoffs. Joe Mixon (RB) Houston Texans – Mixon has been limited with an ankle injury but is expected to play Saturday. Nico Collins (WR) Houston Texans – Listed as a limited practice participant on Wednesday. However, it appears to be a veteran rest day, so no concern. Isiah Pacheco (RB) Kansas City Chiefs – Full participant (rib) Tuesday. Dalton Schultz (TE) Houston Texans – Off the injury reports after being limited with a shoulder ailment. Tyler Higbee (TE) Los Angeles Rams– Higbee was sent to the hospital after coughing up blood concluding the Rams’ Monday night victory. However, Jourdan Rodrique of The Athletic indicated that Sean McVay expects his tight end to play on Sunday.   Tyler Higbee (chest) was hospitalized last night because he was “coughing up a little bit of blood” said Sean McVay, but was able to make the trip home and McVay added he expects to play Sunday. — Jourdan Rodrigue (@JourdanRodrigue) January 14, 2025 Ray Davis (RB) Buffalo Bills – Davis has not cleared the NFL’s concussion protocol and is looking doubtful for Sunday’s game versus Baltimore. Robert Woods (WR) Houston Texans – Woods sat out practice Tuesday with a hip injury. However, the veteran was able to return to practice Wednesday, increasing his odds of playing on Saturday. Cade Stover (TE) Houston Texans – The Texans placed Stover (shoulder) on IR, ending his season. Irv Smith Jr. and Tegan Quitoriano will now be Houston’s reserve tight ends versus Kansas City.   FullTime Fantasy’s Playoff Fantasy Football Contests Play 1 or play all 3! YOU decide! Injury Report: Wild Card Weekend

Jalen Hurts

Injury Report: Wild Card Weekend  The regular season is over, so the reported injuries have cooled significantly. However, with so much on the line playing Playoff Fantasy Football, monitoring injuries is as important as ever. Our Injury Report: Wild Card Weekend will keep you updated on the latest from around the NFL. Also, don’t forget to check out weekly rankings before you finalize this week’s lineups. Finally, FullTime Fantasy Members will get the latest NFL injury news and advice live each Sunday and Thursday in the FullTime Fantasy Discord. Click below to join us today! Jalen Hurts (QB) Philadelphia Eagles – Hurts was limited on Wednesday but is expected to fully clear the NFL’s concussion protocol on Thursday. That would put him in line to start. We will update Discord when news breaks. Jordan Love (QB) Green Bay Packers – Love exited Week 18 with an elbow injury and has been limited in practice. That sounds concerning but there isn’t much concern that Love will miss this game or be limited. We’ll keep an eye on it. Zay Flowers (WR) Baltimore Ravens – Dealing with a knee injury, Flowers has not practiced and is considered unlikely to play by NFL insider Ian Rapoport. However, Todd Monken said the team is “hopeful” that Flowers can suit up. However, with the Ravens being 10-point home favorites, we don’t think Flowers plays. UPDATE: Flowers has been ruled OUT.   Ravens OC Todd Monken said he’s “hopeful” that injured WR Zay Flowers (knee) can still play Saturday but believes the team has the players who can step up if he cannot play pic.twitter.com/wRsIQ4Oz7P — Jamison Hensley (@jamisonhensley) January 8, 2025 A.J. Brown (WR) Philadelphia Eagles – Brown was limited Wednesday with a knee/rest designation. However, he’s expected to be a full-go for Sunday. J.K. Dobbins (RB) Los Angeles Chargers – An ankle injury kept Dobbins limited on Wednesday. However, he has not had a setback and is expected to be fine against the Texans. Jalen McMillian (WR) Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Full participant. Cade Otton (TE) Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Otton missed the final two regular-season games with a knee injury but has been a limited practice participant all week. That puts him in a position to return to the lineup. Dallas Goedert (TE) Philadelphia Eagles – Goedert was a full participant and should be good to go. Quentin Johnston (WR) Los Angeles Chargers – Missed practice Wednesday due to illness. Justice Hill (RB) Baltimore Ravens – Cleared concussion protocol and practiced in full at Wednesday’s practice. Josh Palmer (WR) Los Angeles Chargers – Palmer missed LA’s regular-season finale with a heel injury and has yet to practice this week. Therefore, it’s unlikely that Palmer will have much if any, role against the Texans. UPDATE: Palmer is OUT. Sterling Shepard (WR) Tampa Bay Buccaneers – The veteran is dealing with foot and knee injuries and was limited. However, there is no concern that he will miss Sunday’s tilt. Malik Willis (QB) Green Bay Packers – Limited in practice with a thumb injury, but Willis should be fine to sit behind Jordan Love in Philadelphia.   FullTime Fantasy’s Playoff Fantasy Football Contests Play 1 or play all 3! Our best guess is a committee led by Mike Boone, but hard to trust anything in this backfield. Raheem Blackshear, Velus Jones, and Emani Bailey will also get touches. CeeDee Lamb (WR) Dallas Cowboys – Placed on IR. David Njoku (TE) Cleveland Browns Jalen Hurts (QB) Philadelphia Eagles – Did not clear concussion protocol. Kenny Pickett will start. Nick Folk (PK) Tennessee Titans Cedric Tillman (WR) Cleveland Browns Dyami Brown (WR) Washington Commanders Questionable  Issac Guerendo (RB) San Francisco 49ers – The Niners play on Monday, so Saturday’s practice will be telling. Chirs Olave (WR) New Orleans Saints – Apparently the Saints are considering activating Olave. However, the move doesn’t make much sense in a lost season. Anthony Richardson (QB) Indianapolis Colts – Has not practiced all week. However, there is optimism that he will start. Injury Report: Week 17

Jalen Hurts

Injury Report: Week 17 Happy Holidays and congratulations on advancing to the final week. (Insert Europe’s The Final Countdown) Unfortunately, many fantasy managers who overcame months of adversity still have ‘a few fractuosities to endure’. Our Injury Report: Week 17 will keep you up-to-date on all the fantasy-relevant news. By the way, the first person who can identify that quote gets a free Maui Madness entry. Hit me up @JodySmithNFL. Also, bookmarking our NFL Injury Report is a great way to stay updated on the latest injuries. Finally, FullTime Fantasy Members will get the latest NFL injury news and advice live each Sunday and Thursday in the FullTime Fantasy Discord. Click below to join us today!   Jalen Hurts (QB) Philadelphia Eagles – Hurts was forced to exit last week’s loss early with a concussion. The average NFL player misses 1-2 weeks with a head injury, so Hurts is 50/50 at best to suit up in the finals. James Conner (RB) Arizona Cardinals – Moderately good news on James Conner’s knee. It sounds like there is at least a modest chance he will play in Week 17. However, Arizona plays on Saturday, which shortens Conner’s recovery time. Trey Benson and Michael Carter are priority waiver targets.   “We’ll see how it goes throughout the week. I know he wants to play.” Arizona Cardinals coach Jonathan Gannon with the latest on RB James Conner. The good news, Conner’s knee injury doesn’t sound serious. @PHNX_Cardinals pic.twitter.com/hksEGIBRjj — Bo Brack (@BoBrack) December 23, 2024 Alvin Kamara (RB) New Orleans Saints – Kamara missed Monday’s loss with a groin injury. The Saints have nothing to play for, so chances are that Kamara will not suit up again. However, he is only 50 rushing yards away from surpassing 1,000 yards for the first time, so that may be an objective important to him and the team to achieve this week or next. We are assuming Kamara will not play this week and have downgraded his Week 17 projections. CeeDee Lamb (WR) Dallas Cowboys – It appears Lamb aggravated that troublesome AC joint on a long catch versus the Bucs. His snaps were limited after the play. It’s a pain-tolerance issue, so Lamb could play through it this week. However, with the Cowboys’ season over, there is also a chance that the team rests their star wideout. We’ll have updates later in the week. Drake London (WR) Atlanta Falcons – Dealing with a hamstring injury that isn’t considered serious. However, all hamstring injuries are culpable of reoccurrence without proper rest. For now, London is more likely to play this week but his practice participation will need to be watched closely. George Pickens (WR) Pittsburgh Steelers – The bad news is that the hamstring injury that occurred in practice has now cost Pickens three games. However, the good news is that Pickens is expected to return this week in a crucial game against the Chiefs. Kenneth Walker III (RB) Seattle Seahawks – Walker (ankle) was unable to practice on Monday. Seattle faces Chicago on Thursday, which gives Walker very little time to heal. We expect him to miss this game, putting Zach Charbonnet in a position to compete for RB1/2 numbers. J.K. Dobbins (RB) Los Angeles Chargers – The Chargers opened Dobbins’s 21-day window. If Dobbins is activated from IR, he’ll be an RB2 in New England. Cade Otton (TE) Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Missed Week 16 with a knee injury. Tyrone Tracy (RB) New York Giants – Tracy re-aggravated an ankle injury and did not practice Tuesday. Christian Watson (WR) Green Bay Packers – Green Bay’s oft-injured wideout exited Monday Night Football with a quad/hamstring injury. The Packers had the game well in hand at the time, so it’s possible that Watson’s absence was merely precautionary. His Week 17 practice status will be telling. Aaron Rodgers (QB) New York Jets – Dealing with an injured knee and potential high-ankle sprain. Tank Dell (WR) Houston Texans – A friendly-fire hit resulted in Dell suffering a dislocated knee and tearing multiple ligaments. Unfortunately, this is a devastating injury that not only ends Dell’s 2024 season but could result in him missing all of next year too. Issac Guerendo (RB) San Francisco 49ers – Missed last week due to a hamstring injury. San Francisco has nothing to play for, but reports indicate the rookie is trending in the right direction. Marquez Valdes-Scantling (WR) New Orleans Saints – MVS sat out Monday’s loss with a chest injury and illness. Even if he’s recovered in time for Week 17 action, having Spencer Rattler under center effectively neutralizes all New Orleans pass-catchers. Concussion Protocol Justice Hill (RB) Baltimore Ravens – Ruled OUT. Alec Pierce (WR) Indianapolis Colts –   ENTER OUR WEEK 17 DRAFT CONTEST! George Pickens (WR) Pittsburgh Steelers – Once again out with a hamstring ailment, torpedoing Pittsburgh’s passing attack. Issac Guerendo (RB) San Francisco 49ers – Patrick Taylor is next man up. Cade Otton (TE) Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Xavier Legette (WR) Carolina Panthers – Trey Benson (RB) Arizona Cardinals – Alec Pierce (WR) Indianapolis Colts – Nelson Agholor (WR) Baltimore Ravens – John Metchie (WR) Houston Texans – Matt Prater (PK) Arizona Cardinals – Chad Ryland will fill in again. Tanner Hudson (TE) Cincinnati Bengals – JaMycal Hasty (RB) New England Patriots – Cade Stover (TE) Houston Texans – Jalen Brooks (WR) Dallas Cowboys – Questionable  Tony Pollard (RB) Tennessee Titans – Hasn’t practiced all week. He re-aggravated an ankle injury last week. Even if Pollard plays, I would expect more work from Tajae Spears. Tyreek Hill (WR) Miami Dolphins – A personal issue has been added to the lingering wrist injury. We’ll keep an eye on his pre-game status. David Njoku (TE) Cleveland Browns – Njoku is still dealing with a hamstring injury but the switch of QB to Dorian Thompson-Robinson is a bigger issue. Zach Ertz (TE) Washington Commanders – I don’t expect Ertz to clear concussion protocol in time to play. Tyrone Tracy (RB) New York Giants – Could lose more reps to Devin Singletary even if he plays. Downgrade. Zach Charbonnet (RB) Seattle Seahawks – Ken Walker is back. Meanwhile, Charbonnet is dealing with an oblique issue. Cedric Tillman (WR) Cleveland Browns – David Moore (WR) Carolina Panthers – Braelon Allen (RB) New York Jets – Marquez Vades-Scantling (WR) New Orleans Saints – Hasn’t practiced all week and is now dealing with an illness. Additionally, with Spencer Rattler under center, MVS looks very iffy. Rashod Bateman (WR) Baltimore Ravens – Jalen Coker (WR) Carolina Panthers – Nick Folk (PK) Tennessee Titans – Luke Musgrave (TE) Green Bay Packers – Matt Gay (PK) Indianapolis Colts – DeeJay Dallas (RB) Arizona Cardinals – Mo Alie-Cox (TE) Indianapolis Colts – C.J. Ham (FB) Minnesota Vikings – EXPECTED TO PLAY Jakobi Meyers (WR) Las Vegas Raiders – Geno Smith (QB) Seattle Seahawks – Marquise Brown (WR) Kansas City Chiefs – Brown is making his season debut but will be on a snap count. Aidan O’Connell (QB) Las Vegas Raiders – Good spot for AOC to return, facing a horrid Jacksonville defense. He’s on the QB2 radar in Superflex formats. Roschon Johnson (RB) Chicago Bears – Sterling Shepard (WR) Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Tyler Higbee (TE) Los Angeles Rams – Zane Gonzalez (PK) Washington Commanders – NOT EXPECTED TO PLAY  Jaylen Waddle (WR) Miami Dolphins – Malik Washington is a sneaky pick-up and replacement. Chris Olave (WR) New Orleans Saints – Returned to practice in a limited capacity, which is progress.   ENTER OUR WEEK 16 DRAFT CONTEST! Injury Report: Week 16

Patrick Mahomes Kansas City Chiefs

Injury Report: Week 16 Welcome to the penultimate week of the 2024 fantasy season. Congrats on advancing in your league’s playoffs! Before your finalize your semi-final lineups,. our Injury Report: Week 16 updates you on all the fantasy-relevant injury news and notes. Also, bookmarking our NFL Injury Report is a great way to stay updated on the latest injuries. Finally, FullTime Fantasy Members will get the latest NFL injury news and advice live each Sunday and Thursday in the FullTime Fantasy Discord. Click below to join us today!   Saquon Barkley (RB) Philadelphia Eagles – Barkley missed a significant portion of the second half of Philly’s Week 15 win against the Steelers after taking a helmet to the thigh. Fortunately, the injury is being labeled ‘minor’. However, we will keep an eye on his practice participation starting on Wednesday. Alvin Kamara (RB) New Orleans Saints – A groin injury caused Kamara to exit Sunday’s game early. These injuries are particularly difficult for running backs to recover from quickly, which puts Kamara’s Week 16 status in doubt. Therefore, Kamara fantasy managers should be prepared to empty their remaining FAB for Kendre Miller as the potential replacement. Patrick Mahomes (QB) Kansas City Chiefs – A “mild” high-ankle sprain finds Mahomes questionable for Saturday’s game versus Houston. Mahomes has a history of pushing through ailments like this so he is more likely to play than other signal-callers. However, the Chiefs will be on short rest and have their eyes on preserving his health for January. Also, considering how he’s played this season, Mahomes is not a locked-in QB1. UPDATE: Mahomes was a full participant Tuesday. George Pickens (WR) Pittsburgh Steelers – After missing two games with a hamstring ailment, Pickens’s semi-finals week is off to a promising start.   Now here’s a good sign on Tuesday…George Pickens getting some work in pic.twitter.com/ox2hckf89U — Nick Farabaugh (@FarabaughFB) December 17, 2024 A.J. Brown (WR) Philadelphia Eagles – Brown suffered an ankle injury but there didn’t seem to be a lot of concern in the post-game locker room. However, players often understate issues and swelling can occur later. We will keep an eye on his practice status all week. David Montgomery (RB) Detroit Lions – An MCL injury will require surgery and force Montgomery to miss the rest of the season. This comes as an extra painful injury to pre-season OVER bettors.   David Montgomery is out for the remainder of the season… If you bet Over on his Season Total Rushing Yards, look away 🫣 pic.twitter.com/4RIFJK0laU — br_betting (@br_betting) December 17, 2024   Jaylen Waddle (WR) Miami Dolphins – Day-to-day with a knee injury that is ‘not major’ per Mike McDaniel. That’s reassuring because the footage looked bad. Therefore, we’re not as optimistic. David Njoku (TE) Cleveland Browns – Njoku missed Week 15 with a hamstring injury. He is questionable entering Week 16. However, the QB switch in Cleveland is also a big blow for Njoku’s fantasy potential. We advise fantasy managers to look for other options. Geno Smith (QB) Seattle Seahawks – Smith hurt his right knee on a low hit and never returned to action. Mike Macdonald is ‘optimistic’ that Smith will be able to practice and play this week.   Mike Macdonald says Geno Smith should be able to practice and play this week. Says good signs all around. pic.twitter.com/id354NKHuh — Bob Condotta (@bcondotta) December 16, 2024   Wan’Dale Robinson (WR) New York Giants – In the league’s concussion protocol. Sincere McCormick (RB) Las Vegas Raiders – The rookie exited Week 15’s loss in the second quarter with a left ankle injury. If it’s the dreaded high-ankle injury, McCormick could miss the rest of the fantasy season. UPDATE: The Raiders placed McCormick on season-ending IR. Zach Ertz (TE) Washington Commanders – Ertz is in the NFL’s concussion protocol. Fantasy managers should be prepared for him to miss this week’s game. Washington’s in-house replacements don’t look appealing, so look elsewhere for reinforcements. Trey Benson (RB) Arizona Cardinals – Benson is dealing with an ankle injury. We will monitor his practice participation throughout the week. Nick Chubb (RB) Cleveland Browns – A broken foot will end Chubb’s brief 2024 campaign. With him out, Jerome Ford becomes the top Waiver Wire target for this week. Will Dissly (TE) Los Angeles Chargers – Still dealing with a shoulder injury, Will Dissly is not expected to play on Thursday. Marquise Brown (WR) Kansas City Chiefs – There’s a chance that Brown will make his 2024 debut this week. However, the Chiefs are likely to bring him along very slowly. Therefore, Brown isn’t ready to be inserted into playoff lineups. Tyler Higbee (TE) Los Angeles Rams – The Rams activated Higbee, who is recovering from last year’s torn ACL, from IR. Aidan O’Connell (QB) Las Vegas Raiders – O’Connell (knee) missed Monday’s loss but is ‘trending in the right direction’ per Rotoworld. Tommy DeVito (QB) New York Giants – Unlikely to play after getting concussed last week. With Drew Lock (heel) also dinged, Tim Boyle is the next man up. Nelson Agholor (WR) Baltimore Ravens – In the league’s concussion protocol. Younghoue Koo (PK) Atlanta Falcons – Sent to IR.   ENTER OUR WEEK 16 DRAFT CONTEST!
