Fuego Steve’s NBA Cheat Sheet – 10/30/17

NBA GPP Cheat Sheet Prices listed are Fanduel unless otherwise noted. My NBA articles will mostly focus on Fanduel lineup construction since besides center, you need to play two at each position. The players recommended are usually still good plays on DraftKings unless the pricing is drastically different. Also, many players on DraftKings have dual position eligibility or may be listed at a different position. I will try to mention if there is a specific good play on DK based on price or position eligibility. These are my favorite plays at each position and maybe a value play or two. The players listed are in no particular order, as I am giving choices to help build your lineups. Fuego Steve’s NFL GPP Plays – Week 8

The Fuego Pit I am slightly changing the format for my write up this week. I will narrow down players to more of a core group of guys. If players aren’t listed here it doesn’t necessarily mean they are bad plays. It just means I will not have a ton of exposure to them. Obviously, studs like Antonio Brown, Kareem Hunt and Le’Veon Bell are always in play. If I really don’t like a high-end player this week, I will mention I am fading them. I will list some of the top tiered options and a few value plays or players I may have a few shares of. These are the players that I will have the most exposure to in my main GPP lineups. Sorry, kids took over this week. Here are my favorite plays of the week QUARTERBACKS Carson Wentz – Careful of the weather Kirk Cousins Russell Wilson Tyrod Taylor Andy Dalton RUNNING BACK LeSean McCoy Ezekiel Elliott Le’Veon Bell Lower priced options Joe Mixon LeGarrette Blount – Like more cuz of weather Christian McCaffrey WIDE RECEIVERS A.J. Green Kelvin Benjamin Doug Baldwin Keenan Allen Pierre Garcon TIGHT ENDS Jimmy Graham Jason Witten Hunter Henry Jordan Reed Lower priced targets George Kittle DEFENSE Pittsburgh Steelers Cincinnati Bengals Seattle Seahawks KICKERS – Fanduel only Pick one that fits your lineup. Usually pick kickers from games with good weather or in domes and with high over/unders. Who the heck knows. If I must… Robbie Gould is min price. Blair Walsh is $4800. Randy Bullock is in good spot.

Point Guard Russell Westbrook – I have run out of things to say about Westbrook and its only week two of the season. Can’t deny his ceiling. John Wall – Look for him to get close to his ceiling game in the highest total on the slate. Don’t think they get blown out. Might end up being 10-point win for Warriors. But I don’t think they get there until late in the fourth quarter. Kyle Lowry – Good matchup against the rookie Lonzo Ball. One of the highest over/unders on the slate. Dejounte Murray – Value play if looking to pay down at point guard. Only $5500 on Fanduel. Had scored over 30 fantasy points in three straight before throwing up a dud last game. Kemba Walker – Has yet to really go off this season. This could be the game in a high paced matchup versus the Rockets. Shooting Guard Klay Thomspon – Never super highly owned. He’s off to a hot start so far with three games of 38 or more fantasy points. Andrew Wiggins – Like him better if Jimmy Butler is out again. Pay attention to the news. Bradley Beal – Three of four games this year has scored 42-48 fantasy points. The fourth game he had 30. Price has caught up with him, but huge floor. DeMar DeRozen – Is it a Lowry night or DeRozen night? Maybe both? Caris LeVert – Let people down the other night. That should keep ownership down. Will keep playing him with De’Angelo Russell out. Small Forward Allen Crabbe – Only needs 22 points to hit 5X. Easily can hit 6X and possibly 7. Paul George – Hopefully get him for lower ownership after letting people down the other night. Though he will still be popular Taurean Prince – He was chalky last night and didn’t pay off. Again, hopefully people remember that, and he goes lower owned. Boom or bust. Kyle Anderson – Put up 30 fantasy points in 27 minutes last time out. Has been playing well in the absence of Kawhi Leonard. Kevin Durant – 45 to 50 Fanduel points in every game this season. Huge floor, still waiting for the ceiling game. Power Forward Kristaps Porzingas – Probably the chalk tonight at the position. Good chalk in my opinion. Love his ceiling Otto Porter – Price dropped back down a little. Three of four games has over 30 fantasy points. 47 and 57 points in two of them. Can easily hit 5x, looking for 6-7x. Frank Kaminsky – Still a good price at only $5400. Has 25-34 fantasy points last three. LaMarcus Aldridge – Everything I have said in my other articles still apply. As long as Leonard is out, he is playable. Serge Ibaka – Like his price of only $5500. He is always a risky play. Center Brook Lopez – J.V. isn’t playing for Toronto tonight, which makes him a solid play. Marcin Gortat – Could see him hit 36 tonight, which would be 6x. Clint Capela – He has put up over 50 fantasy points in two of the five games this year. Dwight Howard – Has a huge floor so far this season, scoring 32-37 points a night. Waiting for his ceiling game. Could come tonight versus the Rockets. Nikola Jokic – Don’t want to miss the game he goes off for 60 Fanduel points. Don’t see any centers on Atlanta stopping him. Point Guard D’Angelo Russell – My favorite play of the night based on price. Has scored over 30 fantasy points every game so far. I am thinking he gets close to 40 Fanduel points tonight. Damian Lillard – Highest upside of any point guard on the slate. Ricky Rubio – Has done well with his new team the Jazz. Good spot tonight versus the Clippers. Jrue Holiday – He won’t hit that 50-point ceiling playing with Anthony Davis and Demarcus Cousins. But he does have 40-point upside and is in a good spot in an up-pace game. D.J. Augustin – Starting again for the injured Elfrid Payton. Unfortunately, his price jumped significantly. Shooting Guard Tim Hardaway Jr. – Yes, I am going back to the well again tonight. He started to finally play well at the end of last game. Tonight, he breaks out of his slump. Still only $4700. Justin Holiday – Still a little too expensive, but is getting the minutes. Solid floor. E’Twaun Moore – If playing down for shooting guard, you could do worse. Terrence Ross – Will pick up some of the slack with Payton still out. Terry Rozier – If Marcus Smart doesn’t play. Has played well in his absence. Small Forward LeBron James – I was wrong about James two days ago. Tonight he gets the triple dub. Jimmy Butler – He will break out one of these days. I want him at his price of $8300 when he does. Evan Fournier – Prefer him if Aaron Gordon is out, but it looks like he will play. Still a good play at a weak position tonight. Power Forward Trevor Booker – Has scored 28 to 31 fantasy points in all three games so far. Anthony Davis – Has been a beast so far this season. Always have to worry about injury though. Aaron Gordon – High ceiling as we saw his elevated play during the preseason. Derrick Favors – At $5600, think he can hit 6x value tonight. Center DeMarcus Cousins – I am never going to say he isn’t in play. Karl-Anthony Towns – If you can pay up for center tonight, he and Cousins my top two options. Enes Kanter – Been playing well and still priced right at $5600. Nikola Vucevic – The offense has run through him so far with Payton out. He’s capitalized with 47-55 fantasy points in three straight games. Al Horford – Should be low-owned with the other center options tonight. Like his upside tonight at his price.
