Primetime Primer 12/10/17

QUARTERBACKS Tom Brady – Try to get him in your lineups and differentiate elsewhere. Could even play him naked or just with one of the Patriots running backs. Ben Roethlisberger – Don’t get too cute, go with him or Brady.   RUNNING BACKS LeVeon Bell – Play him please! Especially with the other running backs on this slate. Rex Burkhead or Dion Lewis – Tough to decide which one to play. Perfect day for a hedge lineup with one in one and one in the other. Kenyan Drake – Will be forced to get the bulk of the work. WIDE RECIEVERS   Brandin Cooks – Like pairing him with Brady with no Gronk this week if you can afford him. Antonio Brown – If can squeeze him, Cooks and Bell in your lineup would be ideal. It can be done if you punt somewhere or go Big Ben over Brady. Also like Jarvis Landry, Martavis Bryant, and Danny Amendola. Mike Wallace too especially if Jeremy Maclin doesn’t play.   TIGHT ENDS Dwayne Allen – He's min price of Fanduel and only $2700 on DK filling in for the suspended Gronk. Julius Thomas – I guess has highest upside at the position. Ben Watson – No tight end is safe on this slate, but if I have to choose best floor.   DEFENSE Pittsburgh Steelers – Going against one of the worst offenses in the league. Second meeting between the two should be relatively low scoring. New England Patriots – Prefer both favorites this week and most weeks when choosing on a short slate.   KICKERS – Fanduel only I find myself not being able to pay up for Stephen Gostkowski, but if you have the money he is my preferred choice barely over Justin Tucker. If can’t afford them, Chris Boswell over Cody Parkey.

Fuego Steve’s NBA GPP Plays 12/9/17

NBA GPP Cheat Sheet Prices listed are Fanduel unless otherwise noted. My NBA articles will mostly focus on Fanduel lineup construction since besides center, you need to play two at each position. The players recommended are usually still good plays on DraftKings unless the pricing is drastically different. Also, many players on DraftKings have dual position eligibility or may be listed at a different position. I will try to mention if there is a specific good play on DK based on price or position eligibility. The players listed are in no particular order, as sometimes I am giving choices to help build your lineups at all price points.   Point Guard Dennis Schroder – $8300 – Favorite overall for price tonight. Russell Westbrook – $10800 – Trying to think of funny things to put every time I recommend him. Suggestions welcome. Chris Paul – $8700 – Big game last time out, could be heating up. The players recommended are usually still good plays on DraftKings unless the pricing is drastically different. I will try to mention if there is a specific good play on DK based on price or position eligibility. The players listed are in no particular order, as sometimes I am giving choices to help build your lineups at all price points.   Point Guard Damian Lillard – Highest upside of any PG on the slate. Eric Bledsoe – Like him slightly more than Lonzo Ball tonight. Value/Punt Plays – Rajon Rando, Jamal Murray, Reggie Jackson   Shooting Guard Deepest position of the night Will Barton/Gary Harris – Think you can’t go wrong with either Nuggets shooting guards. Jrue Holiday – With no A.D. tonight, his usage should get an uptick. J.J. Redick – Definetly a GPP play only for me, but can get those 30+ point games. Value/Punt Plays – E’Twaun Moore, J.R. Smith   Small Forward The Freak – Such a weak position tonight, feel like he or Lebron is a must play, but not fitting in my lineups if going Simmons and Cousins. Lebron James – See above. Brandon Ingram – The best lower option, could pair him with Robert Covington and fade the two big boys.  Value/Punt Plays – Dillon Brooks, Juan Hernangomez, Stanley Johnson   Power Forward Ben Simmons – Good spot versus the Pistons. Julius Randle – Like the value, like the upside. Tobias Harris – Due for one of his big games. Value/Punt Plays – Julius Randle, Noah Vonleh   Center DeMarcus Cousins – No Davis tonight, should get huge usage. Andre Drummond – Over $1000 less expensive than Boogie or Embid. Kevin Love – Only really like if Marc Gasol is out. He’s questionable at this point. Value/Punt Plays – Mason Plumlee, Brook Lopez, but don’t love either.
