FFWC High-Stakes Recap: Week 5

FFWC XI

Week 5, of the 2023 Fulltime Fantasy Football season, is now complete. It started with a gravy train of fantasy points, posted during Thursday Night Football, and ended with a fantasy dud during Monday Night Football. Our FFWC High-Stakes Recap: Week 5 covers all the action. Here is a look at the Top 20 Leaderboards across the four Major FTF Tournaments. FFWC XI World Championship Tournament Following Week 5 action, the race to claim the $150K FFWC XI Grand Prize has tightened at the top. Heading into Week 6, the FTF World Championship Top 20 Leaderboard is populated by ten new teams. After there was just one last week, there are now four same-league battles within the Top 20 teams. Make it a 4-Peat for Just(in) Time as they continue as the FFWC XI overall leader for a fourth straight week. However, Simeon Yarbrough and Brian Marzorini slipped slightly, with 144.4 points, and their record fell to 4-1. The good news is they still lead their WC SLOW 4 league by 78.5 points. After sitting 302nd overall after Week 1, Mr Yellow Stickers (4-1) has been making a steady climb. Mike Schlissberg’s WC Circa Hybrid squad moved to 102nd after Week 2, then 12th, then ninth, and is now second overall. Sitting 64.20 points out of first place, heading into Week 5, Mr Yellow Stickers posted 189.20 points and is now just 21.30 off the pace. Moving up eleven spots, from 14th to third, Zefurs IV (5-0) is another steady riser. Up from 93rd, back in Week 2, KJ Duke’s WC 9/3 9 PM ET squad scored 199.35 points. That moved Zefurs IV from 76.5 to just 21.55 points out of first place. Zefurs IV has averaged 192.3 points, over the last three weeks. Climbing into the FFWC XI Top 20, for the first time this season, Chi-Town Bully 4 moved from 24th to fourth place overall. Racking up 185.2 points, Chris Lajawa’s squad moved from 95.3 to just 54.50 points out of the top spot. Chi-Town (5-0) is the last undefeated team in the FFWC 8/13 7 PM ET league. Rounding out the Top 5, Team Schinker jumped from 12th to fifth overall. Now averaging 170.15 points per week, Chris Schinker’s squad posted 164.20 points during Week 5. Hooked into the very competitive 8/18 WC GrindTime league, Team Schinker has a slim 14.0 lead over Coyotes Miscreants (3-2) who sit 13th on the overall Top 20 leaderboard. For the second straight week, our FFWC XI “Shout Out of the Week” goes to Coyote Miscreants (WC 8/9 9 PM ET) who piled up a Week 5 high 230.90 points. After racking up 233.35 points last week, that team now owns the top two weekly high scores. They have moved from 521st after Week 3, to 140th after Week 4, to 15th overall heading into Week 6. Down from 53 teams, at 4-0 after Week 4 action, 30 FFWC XI squads still own a perfect 5-0 record. Just six of those teams are in the current Top 20 overall. After 13 squads posted at least 200 points last week, that number jumped to 21 during Week 5. Ten of those totals are now on the Top 17 weekly high score list. Circa Las Vegas Fantasy Championship Week 5 action brought a boatload of changes to the inaugural FullTime Fantasy Circa LVFC Tournament. Four new teams occupy the top four overall positions, and nine new squads entered the Top 20 list.  For the fifth straight week, we have a new FTF Circa LVFC leader as Team LOB (5-0) moved from seventh to first overall. Mark Deming’s Circa LVFC 7/16 10:00 PM ET squad posted 203.85 points. While that’s an impressive total, it was just the 21st-highest Week 5 score. That team is now averaging 183.4 points per week and is the first Circe LVFC squad to eclipse 900 points. Moving up ten spots, Team 2 Bros DP jumped from 12th to second place overall. Robert Dinges’ Circa LVFC SLOW 5 squad posted 196.40 points. 2 Bros DP has made an impressive climb up the leaderboard as they were in 510th place after Week 1 action.  After beginning the year in 260th overall, then climbing to 29th place, Team Miller has now spent the last three weeks in the top six overall. Jason Miller’s squad posted 179.45 points and moved from sixth to third. Team Miller (5-0) is the last undefeated team and has a 128.0-point lead in the Circa LVFC 8/27 5 PM ET league. Another steady climber, after scoring 125.30 points and sitting 548th overall in Week 1, Team Leave It In (3-2) has jumped into fourth place. Michael Scherneck’s Circa LVFC 9/6 10 PM ET squad has been a model of consistency with 187.00, 182.85, 196.25, and 183.95 points posted over the last four weeks. Tumbling five spots, our Week 4 leader slipped from first to fifth overall. After posting 194.75 points last week, Team Taylor (3-2) dipped to 136.50 points during Week 5 action. Charlie Taylor’s squad still leads the Circa LVFC 6/16 10:30 PM ET league by 36.85 points. Our FTF Circa LVFC “Shout Out of the Week” goes to Team D in the Circa LVFC Beat Dr. Roto Act II league. Marcos Diaz’s squad racked up 257.05 points, which is the second-highest LVFC weekly score this season. Miss New Booty III still holds the top mark with 265.50 points scored back in Week 3. Making a huge leap, Team D moved from 219th to ninth place overall. Up just one, from 19 squads last week, 20 teams surpassed the 200-point plateau during Week 5 action. Four of those totals are now on the Top 12 weekly high score list. After 86 teams entered Week 4 with a perfect 4-0 record, just 40 of the 1,056 Circa LVFC teams are still undefeated. Dynasty World Championship Tournament With the ninth-place team as the lone exception, every position on the DFWC Top 20 Leaderboard changed following Week 5 action.

FFWC High-Stakes Recap: Week 4

FFWC XI

Week 4, of the 2023 Fulltime Fantasy Football season, is now complete. Scoring was down slightly from Week 3. Some early-season stars (Tagovailoa, Mostert, Hill, Hockenson) stumbled, while new stars (Fields, Montgomery, Collins, Kmet) lit up the FFWC High-Stakes Recap: Week 4 scoreboard. Here is a look at the Top 20 Leaderboards across the four Major FTF Tournaments. FFWC XI World Championship Tournament Hitting the 1/4 Mile Pole, in the race to the $150K Grand Prize, the FFWC XI World Championship Top 20 Leaderboard is populated by twelve new teams this week.  Retaining first overall, for the third straight week, Team Just(in) Time (WC SLOW 4) continues as the FFWC XI overall leader. After averaging 198.45 points, through the first three weeks, Simeon Yarbrough and Brian Marzorini slipped slightly as they posted 166.25 points this week. Despite the stumble, Team Just(in) Time (4-0) increased their overall lead from 45.20 to 50.40 points. Moving up 21 spots, from 23rd to second overall, Fairways & Greens WC VII posted 202.00 points. A big week, from RB McCaffrey (48.7), WR Collins (35.8), and QB Richardson (33.6), helped move Curtis Hirsch to 4-0. Chasing the $10K Dominator prize, Curtis now has a 107.35-point lead and is the lone 4-0 squad in the FFWC Online 9/3 1 PM ET league Another FFWC XI squad making a big move, Team Mean Chaz Machine (4-0) jumped from 27th to third place overall. Charlemagne McHaffie and Greg Blaszczynski racked up 202.05 points and sit just 53.30 points out of first place.  Continuing the changes, in the Overall Top 5, Team Foster 2 (3-1) moved from 31st to fourth overall. After slipping slightly, with 149.3 points last week, Gary Foster’s FFWC Online 8/28 9 PM ET, rebounded with 200.85 points during Week 4 action. Rounding out the Top 5, Team Meyer (4-0) slipped one position from fourth to fifth overall. After averaging 181.47 points through the first three weeks, William Meyer’s FFWC Online 9/9 1 PM ET team posted 154.0 points.  Down from 89, in Week 3, 53 FFWC XI teams still own a perfect 4-0 record. Somewhat surprisingly, only nine of those teams are in the Top 20 overall. After 25 teams posted at least 200 points last week, that number dropped to 13 in Week 4. Our FFWC XI “Shout Out of the Week” goes to Coyote Miscreants who set a new single-week high score with 233.35 points. Mike Santos’ FFWC Online 8/6 9 PM ET squad moved from 521st to 140th overall.  The third and fourth-highest single-week scores were also posted during Week 4. Biplab Mandal (Bipcoin – FFWC SLOW 2) piled up 228.70 points and jumped from 213th to 33rd overall. Ken Brzozowski (Bronko WC – FFWC SLOW 1) racked up 226.40 points and moved from 184th to 24th overall. Circa Las Vegas Fantasy Championship Separated by just 19.80 points, the Top 5 race remains close in the inaugural FullTime Fantasy Circa LVFC Tournament. Including five teams that were 52nd or lower on the leaderboard last week, nine new squads entered the Top 20 list. Following a relatively low-scoring week, by some of the previous top teams, the Top 50 gap fell from 95.05 to 75.85 points. That shows in the Week 4 totals as just six of the Top 20 teams posted over 190 points. For the fourth straight week, there is a new FTF Circa LVFC leader as Team Taylor (3-1) moved from 14th to first overall. Drafted back in June, Charlie Taylor’s Circa LVFC 6/16 10:30 PM ET squad posted 194.75 points. Team Taylor was 46th overall following Week 1 action. Continuing to climb, after sitting in 825th place following Week 1 action, Team Everything Must Go (3-1) moved from fifth place to second overall. Matthew Lyons’ Circa LVFC 8/4 11:45 PM ET squad had a down week, with 154.80 points, but still managed to move from 25.10 to 7.90 points off the overall lead. Moving up seven spots, Team Chills jumped from tenth to third overall. Curt Hills’ Circa LVFC 7/3 9 PM ET squad posted 167.15. Team Chills (4-0) is the lone undefeated team, and owns a 118.7-point lead, in the Patriot 3 league. Climbing from ninth to fourth overall, Team Meyer posted 162.50 points. That was good enough to move William Meyer to 4-0 and he has a 53.85-point lead in Circa LVFC 6/10 10 PM ET league. Tumbling five spots, our Week 3 leader slipped from first to fifth overall. Following a 248.60-point scoring outburst last week, Team Weber (3-1) dipped to 117.80 points in Week 4. It’s not all bad news for Mike Weber’s squad though, as he still has a 62.8-point lead in the Circa LVFC 8/20 9 PM ET league. Our FTF Circa LVFC “Shout Out of the Week” goes to Team UKnow in the Circa LVFC 9/1 10 PM ET league. Evan Simon’s squad posted the highest Week 4 total, 230.85 points, and moved from 265th to 30th overall. Down from 50 teams last week, just 19 squads surpassed the 200-point plateau during Week 4 action. After 154 teams entered the week with a perfect 3-0 record, just 86 of the 1,056 Circa LVFC teams are still undefeated. For the first time this season, 20 different owners, from 20 different leagues, have a spot on the Top 20 Leaderboard. Dynasty World Championship Tournament With our Week 4 top two leaders as the exceptions, every position on the DFWC Top 20 Leaderboard changed this week. That includes ten new teams moving into the Top 20 overall standings. The race at the top has tightened considerably as the Top 20 gap dropped from 106.95 points last week, to just 46.80 points heading into Week 5. After averaging 215.18 points per week, through the first three weeks, Team Mr. Two Thirty 33 stumbled last week. Steve Moreau’s squad posted 121.60 points during Week 4. Despite the dip, Steve’s team moved to 4-0 and has a 104.3-point lead in the DFWC 33 league. Retaining second place overall,

Our “Shout-Out of the Week” is an easy one, as William Meyer has FIVE teams in the Top 20. He was also the only player to score at least 190 points. Circa Las Vegas Fantasy Championship While not as tight at the top, as the World Championship Tournament, the inaugural Circa Las Vegas Fantasy Championship is a close race after Week 1 as well. Fast out of the gate, FullTime Fantasy veteran Kurt Kuekes owns the top two positions on the Circa LVFC leaderboard. Sitting in first, Honorable Mention posted a whopping 209.10 points. QB Trevor Lawrence, RB Austin Ekeler, RB Travis Etienne, WR Brandon Aiyuk, and WR Calvin Ridley, scored a combined 125.95 points for Team LOB. Our Circa LVFC “Shout-Out of the Week” goes to Team Rhodes from the Women of Fantasy Football league that drafted LIVE at Circa. Lindsay piled up 189.30 points, which was the sixth-highest total out of the 1,056 teams in the tournament. Lindsay sits just 19.80 points out of first overall. FullTime Fantasy Dynasty Tournament The FullTime Fantasy Dynasty Tournament is off to a high-scoring start. FTF Veteran Matthew Bayley is our Week 1 leader as he posted 209.30 points. The familiar trend continues as WR Tyreek Hill (44.5), WR Brandon Aiyuk (32.9) and WR Jakobi Meyers (29.1) racked up 106.50 combined points for Team Scope in the DFWC 16 league. Not far off the pace, Team The Sunday Ticket (DFWC 35) posted 198.20 points and sits second overall. Led by WR Tyreek Hill, Jeff Cannon’s squad had eight of eleven players post at least 14.9 points. Jeff heads into Week 2 just 11.1 points out of first place. Team Mr. Two Thirty 33 (DFWC 33) sits third overall as Steve Moreau posted 197.9 points. Steve’s squad was another team that was led by WR Hill, and all of his eleven starters posted double-digit points. Steve is 11.4 points out of first place. Following Week 1 action, Team Big DK Energy (DFWC 39) sits fourth overall. Rob Fantauzzo’s squad posted 195.80 points and was led by WR Hill and the Cowboys DST (30.0). Rob sits 13.5 points out of the top spot. Rounding out the top five, Kaboomerang (DFWC 45) racked up 195.35 points during Week 1 action. Blake Bernstein’s squad was also led by WR Hill, and ten of his eleven players scored double-digit points.  Our Dynasty “Shout Out of the Week” is goes to Blake Bernstein, and Bruce Lamb, who both have two teams on the Dynasty Top 20 Leaderboard. SuperFlex Bowl Tournament Week 1 of the SuperFlex Bowl Tournament delivered the closest top two finishes of our four tournaments. BLUEDOG (SFB 41 SLOW) was the TOP DOG with 210.60 points. Joseph Tusa, a FullTime Fantasy Veteran, was led by QB Tua Tagovailoa (34.8) and WR Tyreek Hill (44.5), plus all nine of his players posted at least 13.4 points. Just a minuscule 0.4 points behind, Team Black (SFB 34) finished with 210.20 points. Nathan Blackburn was also led QB Tagovailoa and WR Hill, plus he received a big game from WR Jakobi Meyers (29.1) and QB Mac Jones (28.3).

FFWC Women of Fantasy Draft Recap

FFWC Women of Fantasy Draft Recap The inaugural Women of Fantasy Football draft at Circa Las Vegas was a raging success! FullTime Fantasy hosted some of the most respected women in the industry at the legendary Hospitality Suite, overlooking the gorgeous view of Stadium Swim. There was lots of fun, plenty of trash-talking (I’m looking at you Jen Piacenti and Lindsay Rhodes), as well as some heartwarming moments. These ladies are my people. Two hours where I didn’t have to think about cancer or resting or working… just a fantasy football draft among friends. Even though I was on a laptop screen, it felt like I was there. Thank you @FullTimeFantasy + @CircaSports! #CircaDraftSeries pic.twitter.com/Y0AhMtTEXE — Kelly Singh (@KellyInPhoenix) August 24, 2023 The entire event was a raging success and a great time was had by all. But the real question is, how did each lady do in the draft? Well, first, let’s take a look at the draft order: Madi Kroll, Fantasy Football Analyst Stephie Smalls, Fantasy Football Analyst Kimra Scheicher, 2016 FFWC Winner Kelly Singh, Fantasy Football Analyst Allison Kheel, High-Stakes Veteran Lindsay Rhodes, Pro Football Analyst (Sports Illustrated) Linda Godfrey, Fantasy Football Analyst Samantha Holt, Fantasy Football Analyst, Host & Graphic Designer (Fantasy Life) Dayna Roselli, Television Anchor Jen Piacenti, Pro Football Analyst (Sports Illustrated) JJ Snyder, Television Personality Mercedes Martinez, Television Host All Fantasy Football World Championship (FFWC) leagues are PPR (point per reception) and this particular contest has the following starting lineup requirements: 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 2 Flex, 1 TK, 1 DEF. With that in mind, let’s take a look at the draft board from Thursday’s epic event! Draft Grades Team Kroll’s Roster & Projected Starting Lineup: QB Jalen Hurts (2.12) RB Nick Chubb (3.01) RB Dameon Pierce (5.01) WR Justin Jefferson (1.01) WR Jerry Jeudy (4.12) WR Michael Pittman (6.12) TE David Njoku (10.12) Flex Gabe Davis (7.01) Flex Allen Lazard (8.12) TK Baltimore Ravens (17.01) DEF / ST New England Patriots (19.01) Analysis: First of all, Madi Kroll is an absolute trooper and joined the “Fantasy Football Mile High Club” by drafting this team while she was on a flight. This is a very interesting build as Madi was the first person to select a quarterback in the league. She has the best wide receiver in Fantasy Football (Justin Jefferson) and arguably the best quarterback in Jalen Hurts. While it was a bit too early to grab Hurts for my liking, Hurts never would have lasted until Round 4 so Madi did what she needed to do to get her guy! Nick Chubb at 3.01 was an absolute steal and Dameon Pierce has the ability to completely outperform his ADP in 2023. Pierce led all rookies in YPG last season and has an Offensive Coordinator who averages 7.5 passes per game to running backs. This bodes well for a Houston Texans offense that will be playing catch-up just about every single week. Pierce is practically a LOCK for 14+ points per game and that’s not too shabby for a team’s RB2. This team is going to be dependent on fringe starters such as Michael Pittman, Gabe Davis, and Allen Lazard. All three of these players have potential for explosive outings but they haven’t been the most consistent players in the past. That being said, David Njoku is a great pick in the 10th round at the tight end position. Considering Madi has some great bench players with massive upside such as Aaron Rodgers, Zay Jones, Brian Robinson, and Nathaniel Dell, I like this team more than I originally did. The Jerry Jeudy injury happened the morning of this draft but I don’t hate the value. Grade: B Smallls Squad Roster & Projected Starting Lineup: QB Daniel Jones (8.11) RB Josh Jacobs (3.02) RB JK Dobbins (6.11) WR Ja’Marr Chase (1.02) WR Tee Higgins (2.11) WR Christian Watson (4.11) TE Darren Waller (5.02) Flex Jahan Dotson (7.02) Flex Zack Charbonett (9.02) TK None DEF / ST Pittsburgh Steelers (20.11) Analysis: As a fellow Giants fan, I absolutely love this build and that’s not me being a homer. Under Brian Daboll, Daniel Jones took a huge step in the right direction in 2022, finishing as the QB9, and made drastic strides in terms of taking care of the football (only five interceptions compared to 15 passing touchdowns and seven rushing touchdowns). Considering the lack of weapons at the wide receiver position in New York, Darren Waller should have no problem leading the team in receptions and receiving yards. I actually think Waller is even better than T.J. Hockenson. Stephie also has an absolutely explosive wide receiver room led by the duo out of Cincinnati, Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins. In a tournament like this, I love the double-WR stack and her WR3 is none other than Christian Watson, someone who will dominate the target share in Green Bay. Smalls found elite value at the running back position as well. Josh Jacobs in the third round is a steal. This guy was the RB3 in most formats in 2022 and is officially back with the Raiders. And Dobbins at the tail-end of the sixth round is another great value pick. Not to mention, there has been talk that Dotson could outperform Terry McLaurin in Washington this season and he is a big-play threat that can take it to the house at any given moment. Stephie’s last flex spot is her only weakness but Zach Charbonnet, Kadarius Toney, or Jaylen Warren could all become quite relevant early in the season. Warren is a Najee Harris injury away from having RB1 upside. Stephie knocked this draft out of the park. She will just need to add a kicker before the season begins.   With Pick 5.2, @StephieSmallls selects #Giants TE Darren Waller!!!#WomenOfFantasyFootball #CircaDraftSeries #WOFF #FullTimeFantasy pic.twitter.com/ulIuIaFSeO — FullTime Fantasy (@FullTimeFantasy) August 24, 2023  Grade: A- Queen of Kings’ Roster & Projected Starting Lineup:      QB Deshaun Watson (9.03) RB Christian McCaffrey

FFWC Risers & Fallers: August

Welcome to another episode of the FFWC stock report, where I dive in and talk about the players that are rising and falling in FFWC drafts. The high-stakes ADP discussed below will be based on FFWC Circa Las Vegas Championship leagues.

But now, let’s recap the FFWC Risers & Fallers: August from those amazing Circa Las Vegas Championship drafts.

Stock Rising

Jahmyr Gibbs (RB) Detroit Lions (ADP 25, +8)

The surge in popularity for Jahmyr Gibbs can be attributed to the turmoil faced by other running backs in the league. With Ezekiel Elliott signing with the Cowboys, Dalvin Cook joining the Jets, Josh Jacobs holding out, and Jonathan Taylor expressing trade desires, the conditions have favored Gibbs, causing his draft stock to soar from the 3/4 turn to an early 3rd round placement.

Personally, I’m very optimistic about Gibbs given his current price point, especially when snagged anywhere in the 3rd round. Also, you’re going to want to check out just how the FullTime Fantasy staff is on Gibbs here.

Dameon Pierce (RB) Houston Texans (ADP 56, +7)</p

Dameon Pierce is distancing himself from the veteran presence of RB Devin Singletary during training camp and preseason games. Indications suggest that Pierce could become an incredibly valuable three-down back in the Texans’ offensive scheme.

Ezekiel Elliot (RB) Dallas Cowboys (ADP 152, +8)

The experienced running back inked a one-year deal with the Patriots just last week, with expectations that he will vulture goal-line opportunities from Rhamondre Stevenson. My advice would be to…

2023 Fantasy Football Defense Rankings

Aaron Donald

2023 Fantasy Football Defense Rankings Although they’ve been phased out of many formats, plenty of leagues still employ a DST. Because of that rarity, finding reliable defense rankings is difficult. Here are my 2023 Fantasy Football Defense Rankings to consider for the fantasy football playoffs. Also, the 2023 FullTime Fantasy Football Draft Kit is absolutely LOADED with EXCLUSIVE sleepers, fades, breakouts, customized cheat sheets, and tons of valuable content to help you DOMINATE YOUR DRAFT DAY! 1. Philadelphia Eagles The first two levels of the Eagles’ defense have star power, depth, and upside. They need a couple of young players to emerge to help their off-season losses. Their pass rush helps close the passing window for their talented cornerbacks. Philadelphia has questions at safety and potentially one linebacking spot. In the fantasy market, their defense ranks second behind the 49ers. If they can repeat this pass rush, the Eagles’ defense could be even better in 2023. 2. San Francisco 49ers The defensive line sets the tone for the 49ers, highlighted by the play of Nick Bosa and Javon Hargrave. They also have a top player at the second and third levels of their defense. I expect a bump in sacks while holding offenses to low points. The 49ers are the top-ranked defense in the fantasy market in mid-August. 3. Dallas Cowboys The secondary of this defense should create plenty of turnovers in 2023 if Dallas continues to fire on all cylinders in the pass rush. Micah Parsons sets the tone at the line of scrimmage, while the Cowboys have other players who will get after the quarterback. If Dallas slows down the run and their linebacking corps develops, they will be one of the better defenses in the league.  4. New England Patriots Last year, New England pressured the quarterback (54 sacks) and created interceptions (19). However, their defense did give up passing yards (3,681 – 17th) and passing touchdowns (28). The Patriots gain their edge at the second and third levels, highlighted by the play of LB Matthew Judon (28 sacks over 34 with NE). They face three potent offenses over six games in the AFC East, inviting some questionable starts. New England had the top fantasy defense in 2022 (third in 2021). 5. New York Jets The Jets’ defense significantly improved last season, thanks to some career seasons and coaching. In addition, the Jets added the complementary pieces needed to achieve a higher outcome. New York hopes DE Jermaine Johnson improves in his second season after getting drafted 26th overall in 2022 while also adding LB Will McDonald in the first round (15th) this season. As a result, I expect the Jets to have a top-five fantasy defense in 2023. 6. Washington Commanders If DE Chase Young can reach his potential, Washington will continue to show growth on the defensive side of the ball. Their defensive line is loaded with talent, with an improving secondary. The second level of the defense only needs to fill the run lanes and add some value to the pass rush. In the high-stakes fantasy market in June, the Commanders’ defense ranks 14th. I see a top-10 fantasy defense with playable value in multiple games in 2023. 7. Kansas City Chiefs The fantasy focus will be on the mighty Chiefs’ offense. But they have done an excellent job rebuilding their defense over the past two seasons. Kansas City will play from the lead in almost every game, giving their pass rush a chance to attack on many plays. They will let offenses grind out yards on the ground when the game score favors a faster-moving clock.  Their defense will create more turnover in 2023 while allowing fewer points. The Chiefs’ defense ranks 11th in August, which I view as a buying opportunity. 8. Miami Dolphins Unfortunately for the Dolphins, they already lost CB Jalen Ramsey for a good portion of 2023 with a left knee injury that required surgery. Miami added CB Eli Apple in late July to help bridge the gap. I expect a better pass rush, thanks to the addition of DE Bradley Chubb and the development of LB Jaelan Phillips. The Dolphins improved vs. the run last year while allowing 6.4 yards per pass attempt. Their lower ranking (27th) in passing yards allowed (3,992) came from facing the second-most in pass attempts (624). 9. Baltimore Ravens The improvement in the pass rush last year and a high floor in run support bodes well for Baltimore having a top-10 fantasy defense this season. Offenses with stud wideouts will create coverage problems if their pass rush can’t close the passing window. In the early draft season in the high-stakes market, the Ravens are the eighth defense selected. 10. Pittsburgh Steelers The Steelers’ defense has an impact player at all three levels. Closing the passing window will be crucial to their secondary slowing down top wideouts. Pittsburgh needs Benton to emerge and Highsmith to repeat his breakthrough success to push higher up the defensive rankings. They will be drafted as a top-10 fantasy defense while needing to be micromanaged throughout the season. 11. Buffalo Bills Over the past three seasons, the Bills’ defense finished 7th, 7th, and 5th in fantasy points while ranking highly each year in pass coverage.  I sense regression in their play while losing LB Tremaine Edmunds in the offseason. I question the value of their defensive line vs. the run, and their starting safeties are getting older. Buffalo appears to have the worst defense in their division heading into 2023. 12. New Orleans Saints New Orleans played well defensively over the past three seasons, and they have the talent to continue on the same path. There are some questions at linebacker, but the Saints make up for that would strength at the defensive end position and in their secondary. They ranked 12th in the fantasy market in 2023  after finishing eighth in fantasy scoring in 2022. 13. Jacksonville Jaguars Their defensive line lacks edge players, limiting their pass rush and

As a known fantasy fiend, I am through eight FullTime Fantasy Championship Drafts over at the FFWC. In that time, I found some very nice values in the ADP that I have been mining in the draft room. I want to share my FullTime Fantasy Championship ADP Values with FullTime Fantasy Members to help you get a leg up on your draft day. This is premium content and I probably shouldn’t be sharing this with you all…But that’s what they pay me to do.

The FullTime Fantasy Championship is a contest where the top-4 finishers in each league after Week 14 advance to the Championship Round (Weeks 15-17). This is a PPR league with kickers, defenses, and two (non-QB) flex spots. A 20-round draft gets rosters started, with NO TRADES allowed.

What separates the FullTime Fantasy Championship from others is that it offers THE HIGHEST RETURN ON INVESTMENT FOR ANY NATIONAL COMPETITION!

ONLINE DRAFTS  are already underway and you can choose your preferred time or a SLOW draft. You can also register for the LIVE EVENTS that will take place at the CIRCA HOTEL in Las Vegas! But act fast as this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity won’t last long!

Now, let’s check out some of my favorite ADP values to exploit in FullTime Fantasy Championship drafts.

Quarterbacks

Josh Allen (Buffalo Bills) QB3 (Round 5.3)

On most other sites Allen is going in the late third round as the QB3. However, Allen is being targeted a full two rounds earlier. Stud QBs are en vogue in 2023. That said, having the ability to build the core of your team and then add the back-to-back overall  QB1 in fantasy ppg is criminal!

It’s always fascinating to see different draft strategies play out in various formats. But this season, there has been a premium placed on elite signal callers. That’s why I feel nabbing Allen in the fifth round is a tremendous value I’m more than happy to exploit.

FFWC SuperFlex Bowl Draft Recap

Superflex Bowl

On this week’s FullTime Fantasy Podcast, Jody Smith and I participated in a live FFWC Superflex Bowl draft. The competition was fierce and the draft quickly took a turn. This FFWC Superflex Bowl Live Draft Recap breaks down my overall thoughts, plus the pros and cons for all 12 participants. If you’re new to the SuperFlex Bowl concept, it is a bestball contest that allows you to use a second quarterback as a flex option. It also boasts a nifty $5,000 Grand Prize for the best team. It’s a 20-round bestball draft with PPR scoring that features a 9-man starting lineup. The top two finishers in each 12-man league advance to the championship round in Weeks 15-17 and are guaranteed to win at least $100 while advancing with a shot at the $5,000 grand prize. Click above for more information on the SuperFlex Bowl. Now, let’s get on to my FFWC SuperFlex Bowl Live Draft Recap that was featured on the FullTime Fantasy Podcast show. Team 1 I really like this team. Of course, having the 1.01 doesn’t hurt. However, the build of elite quarterbacks and wide receivers early was great. Especially in the SuperFlex Bowl tournament because you have to start 3 WRs and can start up to 5. Johnston was a steal and could thrive as a YAC monster in this offense. A possible league winner if the cards fall right. Hit: Quentin Johnston (WR) Los Angeles Chargers Miss: Rachaad White (RB) Tampa Bay Buccaneers Team 2 This is also another well-built team. The Allen-Diggs stack is sweet and hard to come by in Superflex drafts. Unfortunately, after Diggs though the wide receiver depth is thin. Allen is over the hill and has a ton of target competition now. Also, I would have rather seen another wideout there or even a running back. Rookie RB Devon Achane at RB 42 might steal the show for this team. Hit: Stephon Diggs (WR) Buffalo Bills Miss: Keenan Allen (WR) Los Angeles Chargers Team 3 I would never call out my partner @JodySmithNFL. However, after committing to Jalen Hurts at 1.03, I would have followed up with A.J. Brown at 2.10. Stacking is critical in these best ball tournaments. I do like Lamb as a player though. If Stafford returns to form and Kamara plays most of the season then this team could contend. Hit: Amon-Ra St. Brown (WR) Detroit Lions Miss: CeeDee Lamb (WR) Dallas Cowboys Team 4 I LOVE the players drafted on this team. In a vacuum, there is excellent pick-by-pick value. However, the problem is the build. I would have gone Lamar Jackson or Justin Herbert over Joe Burrow. But, if you are going to take Burrow, stacking is crucial. Also, this is Superflex and you need to start two signal callers every week. There is a good shot that this team will not have that for a healthy portion of the season. Consequently, that will ultimately hurt a team that I overall like. Hit: Garrett Wilson (WR) New York Jets Miss: Kyler Murray (QB) Arizona Cardinals Team 5 Contrary to a couple of the preceding teams, Team 5 spent too much draft capital on QB. Now I certainly get the strategy of dominating the quarterback position in Superflex. But, when you start the draft QB-QB you have to bank on them carrying you and load up elsewhere. Three QBs can work, but only if you start taking them later. Unfortunately, that was not the way this draft played up and positional depth is a concern. Also, the lack of a proper team stack could prove to be an issue. Hit: Najee Harris (RB) Pittsburgh Steelers Miss: Derek Carr (QB) New Orleans Saints Team 6 Similar to the preceding team, I don’t love the QB-QB-QB start. Plus, I have doubts that Travis Etienne can fill the Hero RB role. This squad probably needed to take another running back much earlier with this build. However, I do love the Deshaun Watson-Elijah Moore stack. As long as DeAndre Hopkins doesn’t sign there, which is a real possibility. Hit: Elijah Moore (WR) Cleveland Browns Miss: Daniel Jones (QB) New York Giants Team 7 It is hard to not like a team that starts with Justin Jefferson and Travis Kelce. Acquiring the consensus No. 1 player at two positions is unheard of. Jody Smith poignantly pointed this out during our live coverage of this very draft. However, I question the logic of avoiding valuable positional depth for the sake of two reserve signal callers who underperformed last season. A three-QB build with more flex depth would have been better advised. Hit: Travis Kelce (TE) Kansas City Chiefs Miss:  Mike White (QB) Miami Dolphins Team 8 First, this might be my favorite team. I love the build and the players at their values. Secondly, Justin Herbert is my QB 5, so QB7 is a value. My only complaint is that the team is stackless. Also, snagging Colt McCoy with the final pick was far from egregious. However, a fourth QB left this squad awfully thin at wide receiver. That may hurt during a race for $5K with other really good teams. Finally, if Brock Purdy plays the whole season this may be the team to beat in this league. Hit: Justin Herbert (QB) Los Angeles Chargers Miss: Colt McCoy (QB) Arizona Cardinals. Team 9 I appreciate the guts to fade Qb in a superflex format. That strategy was executed correctly, as well. By getting an elite tight end and loading up on pass catchers. Tee Higgins was a bit early for me as I have Chris Olave, DeVonta Smith, and DK Metcalf all ahead of him. Will need some luck at the QB position to make this work but could be a juggernaut. Hit: Jonathan Mingo (WR) Carolina Panthers Miss: Tee Higgins (WR) Cincinnati Bengals Team 10 I figured I would be fading QB early and was happy to get Geno Smith and Russell Wilson at the 3/4 turn. Also, Austin Ekeler as the RB4 was the only reason I passed on Travis Kelce. Honestly, I could have gone
