Circa Survivor Report: Week 11

Circa Survivor Report: Week 11 FAVORITES BOUNCE BACK After underdogs finished an amazing 11-3 Against the Spread (ATS) in Week 10, favorites bounced back posting a 9-5 in ATS mark this week. Despite going 10-4 straight-up (SU), two of the four upsets left several of those remaining in Circa’s Survivor contest crying the blues. We break it down with our Circa Survivor Report: Week 11. All of the remaining 105 contestants, as expected, backed chalk to emerge victorious in Week 11. However, fading Seattle and New Orleans proved costly.  The Seahawks’ 20-17 upset of the 49ers as 6.5-point road underdogs eliminated four contestants.   Elite aura.#GoHawks x @walottery pic.twitter.com/en5VL3Zd8B — Seattle Seahawks (@Seahawks) November 18, 2024   Facing a 17-13 deficit, 3.8% of the pool were left heartbroken when dreams of a $14 million score went up in smoke after Geno Smith capped off an 80-yard drive with a 13-yard touchdown run with just 12 seconds remaining in the game.   With 12 seconds left, @GenoSmith3 does it himself. 👏 pic.twitter.com/QXR3jEodxh — Seattle Seahawks (@Seahawks) November 18, 2024   The Browns, which were the least selected team, knocked out two contestants after suffering a shocking 35-14 road loss at New Orleans.   RIZZI BALL. 2-0#Saints | @FastTwitchDrink pic.twitter.com/bOwYbX66EF — New Orleans Saints (@Saints) November 17, 2024   Saints interim coach Darren Rizzi is now 2-0 after do-it-all  QB/TE Taysom Hill shocked the NFL world by rushing for 138 yards and three touchdowns. Chuba Hubbard Carolina Panthers

Circa Survivor Report: Week 10 UNDERDOGS RULE THE SLATE Favorites have dominated the NFL over the past month, but underdogs ruled the Week 10 slate to the dismay of many who were left remaining in Circa’s Survivor contest. The FullTime Fantasy Circa Survivor Report: Week 10 recaps the upsets.  All of the remaining 151 contestants backed Chalk to win in Week 10. However, fading Carolina was the kiss of death for the second straight week. However, the dream for the $14 million prize quickly evaporated when rookie running back Tyrone Tracy Jr. lost a fumble on the first play of overtime at the NYG 24-yard line. That helped New England come away with the upset after previously losing seven of eight games. Ouch. In Week 10, favorites only went 8-6 Straight-up (SU), after winning SU at a 79.7% clip over the previous four weeks. However, while chalk was also dominating against the spread (ATS) at a 62.7% pace over that span, underdogs bounced back in a big way posting an 11-3 ATS mark. After 10 weeks, 105 of the starting 14,266 entries remain alive and continue to dream! The Bears, who were the fourth-most selected team, knocked out 14 contestants after suffering a shocking 19-3 home loss at the hands of the Patriots despite being 6-point home favorites.   The Chargers and the Eagles bring it home! Circa Survivor Report: Week 9

Circa Survivor Report: Week 9 SAY IT ‘AINT-SO’ NEW ORLEANS! As favorites dominated Week 9 in the NFL, the biggest road chalk of the slate proved to be the death blow for a large contingent in Circa’s Survivor contest. Our Circa Survivor Report: Week 9 recaps the carnage! Firstly, favorites went 14-1 straight-up (SU) & 10-5 against the spread (ATS) in Week 9. Upon a deeper dive over the last month, favorites have been extremely profitable to invest in, posting marks of 47-12 (SU) (79.7%) and 37-22 (ATS) (62.7%). In Week 9, nearly a quarter of the remaining 191 contestants backed the full-touchdown road favorite Saints to get past the dreadful Panthers. Following their seventh straight loss, New Orleans fired head coach Dennis Allen. Little consolation to the 40 entrants who watched their dream for the life-changing prize come to a crashing end. Circa Survivor Report: Week 7

Circa Survivor Report: Week 7 CIRCA SURVIVOR WEEK 7: FAVORITES DOMINATE ONCE AGAIN Aftter a an early season of upsets that lefft NFL bettors reloading their mobile accounts, favorites dominated for the second consecutive week going 10-5 Straight-up (SU) and 9-7 Against-the-Spread (ATS). For further context, over the last two weeks favorites have helped square investors build their bankrolls with a marks of 22-7 (SU) (75.9%) and 19-10  (ATS) (65.5%). The Circa Survivor Report: Week 7 breaks down that impact on the remaining field.  The turbulent NFL landscape over the first five weeks of the season eliminated nearly 97% of the NFL Circa Survivor $1,000 entry fee contestants. However, with favorites holding serve at a high level only a handful of the remaining contestants have been knocked-out over the last two weeks. In Week 7, slightly over one-third of the remaining 216 contestants backed the Rams as an eight-point home favorite against Las Vegas. That gave the Rams a 14-3 lead they would never relinquish. Although Los Angeles was unable to cover the touchdown-plus spread, the 20-15 victory was more than enough to help 81 entrants move on to Week 8. Washington was the second-most selected team as 56 entries selected the surging Commanders to beat the struggling Panthers.   3-0 at home #RaiseHail pic.twitter.com/7HadT2tUGu — Washington Commanders (@Commanders) October 20, 2024   Despite losing star QB Jayden Daniels to a rib injury early in the first half, Washington remained perfect (3-0) at home dismantling Carolina 40-7 at Northwest Stadium. The Commanders, who lead the NFL in scoring (218 points), own the best scoring differential of any club in the league (+66). While 99.1% of the remaining entrants were able to advance, two contestants were tripped up when Atlanta and Minnesota were upset at home by Seattle and Detroit, respectively. After seven weeks, only 214 of the starting 14,266 entries remain alive.   Wow. That’s a whole lot of green. Good plays from the Circa Survivor contestants this week! A deeper dive reveals that thanks to favorites dominating the slate, the contest witnessed the top-six most chosen teams all winning for the first time this year as the Ravens, Falcons, Texans, and Buccaneers won by a combined margin of 160-91. While 97.7% of the remaining entrants were able to advance, five contestants did unfortunately land on the only two favorites to be upset (Tennessee and Jacksonville). Another week of NFL action, another popular selection takes out a large contingent of Circa’s Survivor NFL $1,000 entry fee contest.  Contestants learned the hard way that the NY Jets franchise should NEVER be trusted. Despite being a touchdown-plus home favorite the Jets burned 110 entrants.   Denver Broncos QB Bo Nix made history yesterday in their win vs the New York Jets: Nix became the 1st QB since 1970 to win a game when averaging less than 2.5 yards/attempt on 25+ attempts 😂 pic.twitter.com/9Au3Q3vxLA — NFL Retweet (@NFLRT) September 30, 2024   After winning two consecutive games, 17.1% of the pool backed Aaron Rodgers and Gang Green. However, the inept franchise was upset by rookie QB Bo Nix who set a dubious NFL record (see tweet above) 10-9 at MetLife stadium. Arizona was the fifth-most selected team as 36 entries selected Kyler Murray and the Cardinals to beat the Commanders at home.   Jayden Daniels the last two weeks: 🪖 90.6% adjusted completion % 🪖 574 total yards 🪖 5 total TDs pic.twitter.com/RBO6vgS4hs — PFF (@PFF) September 29, 2024   However, the Red Birds were unable to contain the red-hot Jayden Daniels as the Commanders crushed the hopes of 5.6% of the contest thumping Arizona 42-14 After four weeks, only 480 (3.4%) of the starting 14,266 entries enter the month of October still alive.   Detroit wins so nothing changes! That’s a wrap for Week 4! If you’re one of the 480 remaining entries congrats!#CircaSurvivor #CircaSports #SurvivorSweat pic.twitter.com/fmKpYi6TrW — Survivor Sweat (@SurvivorSweat) October 1, 2024   The nervous tension will intensify for the 480 dreamers as team byes commence in Week 5. This creates more pitfalls in the battle for $14,266,000 – the biggest Survivor prize in history. The Circa Survivor contest is a grueling contest that forces entrants to pick one winner every week, with no spread with one pivotal caveat. Entrants CAN NOT use the same team more than once during the course of the season.  In an early look-ahead to Week 5, it is expected that: San Francisco (-7 ) vs Arizona and Seattle (-6) vs. the New York Giants will be the two most heavily chosen teams in the contest. However, a deeper dive reveals that week has the potential to knock another large number of entrants as 9 of the 14 games (64%) on the slate have a point spread of a field goal or less! Buckle up. Circa Survivor Report: Week 3

Circa Survivor Report: Week 3 WEEK 3 NFL MADNESS LEAVES ONLY 5% OF CIRCA SURVIVOR ENTRANTS ALIVE If you are still alive in Circa’s Survivor NFL $1,000 entry fee contest, consider playing Powerball this weekend.  Following the Week 3 bloodbath, only 642 (5%) of the starting 14,266 entries remain alive.  For the third consecutive week, upset madness in the NFL continued as several of the biggest home favorites on the board lost straight-up. 931 entries (24%) picked Deshaun Watson and the Browns to beat the previously winless Giants at home. However, the 7-point underdog G-Men pulled off a stunning 21-15 victory.   #CircaSurvivor 2024 🏈🏆 Week 3 Selections 📄 Complete selections: https://t.co/bGqO1GQzx2 pic.twitter.com/GC39pvd4GJ — Circa Sports (@CircaSports) September 22, 2024   USE PROMO CODE: SAVE20 for 20% off our 6-month package and get INSTANT ACCESS to FullTime Fantasy’s Award-Winning fantasy football projections!  In addition to the Browns, the Bucaneers were the next biggest knock-out blow to contestants as they took out another 667 entries (17.2%) aftter being upset by Broncos.  The massacre did not end there as Las Vegas, who took out 2,304 entries last week when they upset the Ravens, eliminated 515 (13.3%) of the entrants in Week 3 when they lost 36-22 to Andy Dalton and the Panthers as a near touchdown home favorite. The Silver and Black are personally responsible for dashing the dreams of 39.8% of the pool in the last two weeks.   Andy Dalton owns the Raiders 👊 pic.twitter.com/cIh0UwsUMW — FanDuel Sportsbook (@FDSportsbook) September 22, 2024   The Record-Breaking $14,266,000 million prize pool, despite not needing to cover any point spread, has left even the best bettors crying the blues. As if the home favorites going down wasn’t enough, the biggest road-favorrite of the week – the 49ers – broke the hearts of 69 entrants (1.8%) when they blew a 10-point lead over the final six minutes of the game. The 27-24 win by Matthew Stafford and the Rams left San Francisco backers in stunned disbelief.   Rams highest ML odds were +2500 before their incredible comeback vs. the 49ers 😱 pic.twitter.com/rH5Y1YWWJ0 — DraftKings Sportsbook (@DKSportsbook) September 22, 2024   The misery for contestants did not end on Sunday, as the most selected team – the Bengals – lost at home to the Commanders. The 8-point home favorite, who 988 (25.5%) entrants picked, were upset 31-20 on Monday Night Football. In three weeks of action, Cincinnati was responsible for eliminating a total of 41.2% of the pool (5,883 contestants: 4,895 Week 1). The sweat is already on heading to Week 4 as the entrants battle for the biggest Survivor prize in history. Staff added: Week 4 has some games looking better than others including but not limited to… The 2-1 Jets (-7.0) host the 1-2 Denver Broncos. The 1-2 Cowboys (-4.5) visit the 1-2 New York Giants. The 1-2 SF 49ers (-10.5) host the 1-2 New England Patriots. The 3-0 KC Chiefs (-8.0) visit the 2-1 LA Chargers. Good luck chasing the dream! Circa Survivor Report: Week 2

Lamar Jackson Baltimore Ravens

Circa Survivor Report: Week 2 The parity in the NFL is wreaking havoc with Circa’s Survivor $1,000 entry fee Contest. For the second consecutive week, the BIGGEST betting favorite on the board was the MOST SELECTED team in the contest. Consequently, for the second straight week, that team was upset. 2,304 entries (26.5%) picked Lamar Jackson and the Ravens to beat Las Vegas at home. However, the 8.5-point underdog Raiders pulled off the biggest upset of Week 2 after earning the stunning 26-23 victory.   #CircaSurvivor 2024 🏈🏆 Week 2 Selections 📄 Complete selections: https://t.co/csTKGuYaGd pic.twitter.com/uJfOyvrNTv — Circa Sports (@CircaSports) September 15, 2024   The record-breaking $14,266,000 million prize pool, despite not needing to cover any point spread, is proving impossible for even the best bettors to navigate.   UPSET ALERT 🚨 Raiders (+350 ML) shock the Ravens in Week 2 ✅ pic.twitter.com/6e7dBjmR7r — DraftKings Sportsbook (@DKSportsbook) September 15, 2024   In addition to the Ravens, the Lions were the next biggest knock-out blow to contestants as they took out another 859 entries (9.9%) after being upset by Tampa Bay. A total of 4,775 (55%) of the 8,675 remaining entries were eliminated in Week 2.  Think the NFL is easy to predict?  The Week 2 massacre concluded on Monday Night Football when the Falcons stunned the Eagles, 22-21, knocking out 785 (9%) of the entrants. In just two weeks of NFL games, 10,321 of the starting 14,266 entries have already been eliminated! This is historically shocking. After Week 2’s bloodbath, the highest percentage of entries have now been eliminated through Week 2. In 2022: 67.2% were eliminated after the first two weeks, but this year has topped them all taking out 72.8% of the contest after just 32 games. If you own one of the remaining 3,878 entries heading into Week 3 consider yourself fortunate. The sweat is already on heading to Week 3 as the entrants battle for the biggest Survivor prize in history.   FALCONS COME BACK WITH UNDER A MINUTE LEFT TO STEAL THE WIN IN PHILLY 🔥 pic.twitter.com/XkbzsizLiK — ESPN (@espn) September 17, 2024   The Circa Survivor contest is a grueling contest that forces entrants to pick one winner every week, with no spread with one pivotal caveat.
