Fantasy Football Injury Rundown

Bengals RB Joe Mixon

Here are the key fantasy-relevant injury situations we’ll be monitoring with the fantasy football injury rundown. Both for this week’s action and moving forward. Also, be sure to check out our Week 12 waiver wire and FAAB recommendations. Also, be sure to join us in the FullTime Fantasy Discord Channel for injury updates throughout the week. And, from our family to yours, Happy Thanksgiving! Joe Mixon (RB) Cincinnati Bengals – Mixon was forced out of Cincinnati’s Week 11 win with a concussion. Because the Bengals play Sunday, Mixon will have adequate time to clear the NFL concussion protocol. However, that is not a sure thing. Fantasy managers would be wise to make Samaje Perine their top priority on the Week 11 waiver wire. Ja’Marr Chase (WR) Cincinnati Bengals – The good news is that Chase is off crutches. Also, the superstar wideout is listed as day-to-day. The bad news: Chase hasn’t returned to practice and the club is keeping his status close to the vest. Obviously, Chase’s status has huge fantasy ramifications, so we will stay alert. Justin Fields (QB) Chicago Bears – Fields dislocated his left (non-throwing) shoulder. The second-year signal-caller still managed to play through the injury. However, his status moving forward is somewhat in doubt. We should have a better idea of Fields’s availability on Wednesday. Mike Williams (WR) Los Angeles Chargers – A brutal reminder of why it’s always risky to gamble on players returning from lower leg injuries in their first game back. Williams re-aggravated the high-ankle injury that cost the veteran wideout four games. Although the reoccurrence isn’t considered serious, expect Williams to miss games until he is 100%. Josh Palmer and DeAndre Carter will benefit while Williams is out. Marquise Brown (WR) Arizona Cardinals – Brown was eligible to return last week but ultimately held out. But, there is good news. Brown indicated that he feels close and his odds of suiting up against the Chargers look promising. As always, we’ll keep FullTime members updated in the FullTime Fantasy Discord Channel. Matthew Stafford (QB) Los Angeles Rams – Stafford is back in the league’s concussion protocol. This is the second stint for Stafford in two weeks. The veteran quarterback will almost certainly miss time. Plus, with the Rams’ season spiraling, it won’t make sense for the club to rush Stafford back. Playoff-bound fantasy managers who were relying on Stafford should look for other options. Kyle Pitts (TE) Atlanta Falcons – Pitts was placed on IR after an MRI revealed a torn MCL. The sophomore tight end will miss a minimum of four games. However, with surgery, the most likely scenario is that Pitts’s fantasy season is effectively over. Rondale Moore (WR) Arizona Cardinals – Unfortunately, Moore suffered a groin injury on Arizona’s first play from scrimmage. The sophomore standout was unable to return to action against San Francisco. This doesn’t bode well for Moore’s Week 12 availability. Wan’Dale Robinson (WR) New York Giants – Robinson tore his ACL during his breakout performance. This injury will end Robinson’s rookie season. Clyde Edwards-Helaire (RB) Kansas City Chiefs – A high-ankle sprain will keep Edwards-Helaire sidelined for multiple weeks. CEH’s playing time was already dwindling before the injury. Conversely, Isiah Pacheco‘s role as the Chiefs’ starter looks even more secure. Jaylen Warren (RB) Pittsburgh Steelers – Pittsburgh’s satellite back hurt his hamstring early last week. Warren wasn’t able to return to action and is expected to sit in Week 12. In Warren’s absences, Najee Harris led all running backs with a 91.8% snap share. That puts Harris back in the RB1 conversation while Warren is out. Jerry Jeudy (WR) Denver Broncos – Jeudy was absent from practice Tuesday with an ankle injury. Unless there is a sudden improvement, Jeudy is on the wrong side of questionable for Week 12. Kadarius Toney (WR) Kansas City Chiefs – Toney re-aggravated his hamstring injury after just one target. If Toney is unable to return in Week 12, the Chiefs would be dangerously thin at wideout. Juju Smith-Schuster is also sidelined by a concussion. Chase Edmonds (RB) Denver Broncos – A high-ankle sprain will keep Edmonds out for a minimum of four weeks. One of the bigger busts of the 2022 draft season, Edmonds can safely be dropped from all non-dynasty rosters. Jameson Williams (WR) Detroit Lions – The Lions opened the 21-day window for Williams to make his NFL debut. The No. 12 overall pick tore his ACL in January’s national championship game and has yet to practice. However, this is an encouraging development for the dynamic rookie. Williams is certainly worth a look on the waiver wire where he is a free agent.   ENTER OUR WEEK 12 DRAFT CONTEST! How it Works: Draft your team using our On-Demand Simulator. Fantasy Football Recap Week 11

Zach Wilson

We’re now 11 weeks into the 2022 season and while this past week was full of drama and defense, it was mostly a low scoring fantasy week.  Let’s look back on Sunday with the FullTime Fantasy Fantasy Football Recap Week 11 and see what we can learn from another Sunday of NFL action. Also, we’ll take an early peak at Week 12. Where’s the Beef? And by beef I mean points? That opening slate of games was brutal. When the Redzone Channel went to the ‘witching hour’ of the fourth quarter, eight of the 16 teams had one TD or less. Six of the squads had zero.  And the weather wasn’t even a factor. It was just a poor offensive showing all around. The Patriots-Jets contest set the game back 30 years. There wasn’t even an offensive touchdown mustered at all. New England got the first punt return TD of the entire season for the only touchdown of the day. Zach Wilson was particularly brutal. Not that Jets fans expected anything else. The last time New York defeated New England in regulation, Wilson was in seventh grade. Of course, Wilson wasn’t the only signal-caller who struggled. Eight of the 16 QBs who started at 1 ET failed to account for even one touchdown pass. This is one of those weeks where the guy in your league who forgot to change his lineup wins with his running back on bye. Where your first-place eliminator team gets knocked out due to one brutal week. On the bright side, I made some bad DFS calls, too. However, the scoring was so low that I may end up with a profitable week. That will be a first with a lineup with more ice crystals that fire emojis. This seems like the lowest scoring NFL DFS slate ever. — JeffElJefe (@JeffKCollins) November 20, 2022 Week 11 was just that kind of slate. Backfield Breakdown With so few teams employing a workhorse running back, it is essential for us to track how coaches divide their backfield touches. Here are the fantasy opportunities from some of Sunday’s backfields. Opportunities means carries plus targets. Atlanta – Tyler Allgeier 30 snaps, 9 opp.; Cordarrelle Patterson 27 snaps, 12 opp. Baltimore – Kenyan Drake 35 snaps, 14 opp.; Justice Hill 28 snaps, 10 opp. Buffalo – Devin Singletary 47 snaps, 20 opp. James Cook 16 snaps, 13 opp.; Nyheim Hines 10 snaps, 2 opp. Carolina – D’Onta Foreman 22 snaps, 11 opp.; Chuba Hubbard 233 snaps, 7 opp.; Raheem Blackshear 11 snaps, 3 opp. Chicago – David Montgomery 55 snaps,  20 opp.; Trestan Ebner 15 snaps, 7 opp. Cleveland – Nick Chubb 41 snaps, 17 opp.; Kareem Hunt 32 snaps, 7 opp. Detroit – Jamaal Williams 32 snaps, 17 opp.; D’Andre Swift 21 snaps, 8 opp.; Justin Jackson 25 snaps, 10 opp. LA Rams – Kyren Williams 35 snaps, 8 opp.; Cam Akers 25 snaps, 14 opp.; Darrell Henderson 4 snaps, 2 opp. New England – Rhamondre Stevenson 49 snaps, 21 opp.; Damien Harris 15 snaps, 10 opp. Philadelphia – Miles Sanders 44 snaps, 14 opp.; Kenneth Gainwell 11 snaps, 1 opp.; Boston Scott 13 snaps, 5 opp. Washington – Antonio Gibson 46 snaps, 21 opp.; Brian Robinson 23 snaps, 15 opp. Week 12 Preview Week 12 byes: NONE Lines courtesy Draftkings   Buffalo at Detroit (+10) NY Giants at Dallas (-8) New England at Minnesota (-3) Houston at Miami (-12) Baltimore at Jacksonville (+4.5) Atlanta at Washington (-3) Tampa Bay at Cleveland (+3) Denver at Carolina (+2.5) Cincinnati at Tennessee (+1.5) LA Chargers at Arizona (+3) Las Vegas at Seattle (-3.5) New Orleans at San Francisco (-8.5) Green Bay at Philadelphia (-6.5) Pittsburgh at Indianapolis (-2.5)   The 2022 NFL season is well underway but it’s not too late to get access to the best help out there! Def vs WR Matchups Report

Chargers Cornerback Derwin James

This Fantasy Football tool shows you how well (or how poorly) each pass defense is performing against each position this NFL season.

RECEIVING YARDS ALLOWED BY POSITION

This new featured tool displays how each defense performs against their opponent’s receiving yardage gained by position.

So for example, if you see a team is ranked 1st vs. WR #1, that defense is currently the best at limiting their opponent’s WR #1 yardage compared to other teams. Or if you see a team is ranked 32nd against WR #2, that defense is the worst against WR #2’s or more accurately, the defense is allowing the most yards to WR #2’s compared to the other teams in the league. This a great tool to find and exploit useful matchups. Don’t forget to check out all the positions as well (WR #1, WR #2, Other WRs, TE & RB).

Fantasy Football Start ‘Em Sit ‘Em Week 11

Kadarius Toney

Week 11 is here, and these fantasy football streets are getting tough!  Our week 11 Fantasy Football Start ‘Em Sit Em is designed to help guide you to make the best decisions to benefit your fantasy rosters, especially during difficult times. This week we have the Jacksonville Jaguars, Miami Dolphins, Seattle Seahawks, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers all on a bye. That will certainly add to the importance of the fantasy football start ’em sit ’em Week 11.  QUARTERBACKS  Start ‘Em Daniel Jones – New York Giants Daniel Jones faces off against the Detroit Lions in week 11. The Lions have allowed the most fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks. They have permitted quarterbacks to throw for 2395 yards and 15 touchdowns while also allowing 372 rushing yards and four more scores. Jones has the 4th-most rushing yards of all QBs with 387, only behind Justin Fields, Lamar Jackson, and Josh Allen.   Jimmy Garoppolo – San Francisco 49’ers Jimmy Garoppolo and the 49ers square off vs. the Arizona Cardinals. Overall, Arizona allows the fifth-most points in football. The Cardinals, in particular, give up the 5th-most to opposing quarterbacks, who are averaging 19.01 fantasy points per game. In 10 weeks, Arizona has given up 2571 passing yards, seven scores through the air, 213 quarterback rushing yards, and three more touchdowns. Garoppolo enters week 11 with the 9th-most quarterback rushing touchdowns and the 3rd-highest yards per attempt.   Sit ‘Em Taylor Heinicke– Washington Commanders Taylor Heinicke and the Commanders are coming off an unbelievable upset vs. the Philadelphia Eagles in week ten. Still, they head to Houston for another tough defensive matchup. The Texans have been sneaky good on defense, giving up the 5th -fewest points to opposing quarterbacks and allowing the 2nd-fewest passing touchdowns all year. Opposing quarterbacks have only averaged 12.88 fantasy points a game vs. the Texans. Matt Ryan – Indianapolis Colts Ryan regained the starting role in Week 10 but has a brutal matchup vs. Philadelphia this week. The Eagles are the most formidable defense vs. opposing quarterbacks in the NFL, giving up an average of 9.42 fantasy points per game. The ever-tough tandem of James Bradbury and Darius Slay will make it extremely difficult for Michael Pittman or Alec Pierce to get anything done. The Eagles are allowing the fewest yards per play in the NFL with 4.6 and have given up the 3rd-fewest total yards all season. RUNNING BACKS Start ‘Em Antonio Gibson – Washington Commanders Antonio Gibson has a juicy matchup in week 11 against the Texans. Houston ranks dead last in the league against running backs. The Texans have been gashed on the ground, giving up 5.2 yards per attempt, 1407 rushing yards, and allowing 13 scores. They have also allowed another 276 receiving yards and one more score to the running back position. With J.D. McKissic slated to miss another contest, we can expect Gibson’s increased snap count to continue and the Commanders to pound the run. David Montgomery – Chicago Bears The Bears lost Khalil Herbert to the injured reserve last week due to a hip injury. No one stands to benefit from this unfortunate injury more than David Montgomery. Herbert was 11th in the league in rushing and had been playing roughly 30% of the snaps every week. The injury frees up significant snap share for Montgomery, who was already playing around 70% of snaps. Also, the Bears face off against the Detroit Lions, who give up the 8th-most yards per attempt (4.8) to running backs. Additionally, they have given up the 9th-most fantasy points to opposing running backs on the year.  Sit ‘Em Tony Pollard – Dallas Cowboys Pollard has shined in the absence of Ezekiel Elliot, finishing as the running back #4 in PPR leagues in Week 8 and the running back #8 in PPR leagues in Week 10. However, there is optimism that Elliot will play this week, relegating Pollard back to backup duties. In addition, the Vikings have given up the 6th-fewest fantasy points to opposing RBs and have been incredibly stingy vs. pass-catching backs. Minnesota has not surrendered a single receiving touchdown to the position all season. D’Andre Swift – Detroit Lions Swift has been a headache for fantasy managers. He is arguably one of the best pass-catching backs in the NFL. But Swift hasn’t been healthy enough to get on the field. He went to the IR in week 4, came back in week 8, and played 55% of the snaps. Then, in Week 9, Swift’s snap share dropped to 16.1%, and he was out-snapped by Jamaal Williams, who took on 61.3% of the snaps, and Justin Jackson, who saw 21%. That trend continued in week 10. Williams saw 40.3% of the snaps, Swift saw 30.6%, and Justin Jackson saw 27.4%. It’s clear that Swift is not 100%. Additionally, the Lions face the New York Giants. The latter is giving up the 8th fewest fantasy points to opposing running backs and has given up the 5th fewest touchdowns to the position on the year. WIDE RECEIVERS Start ‘Em Darnell Mooney – Chicago Bears The Bears have finally figured it out. Darnell Mooney has played 86% of snaps in back-to-back weeks and has seen the 10th-highest target share in the league at 28%. This week, he faces off against the Atlanta Falcons, who are the worst-ranked against the wide receiver position. Also, Atlanta is allowing 2011 receiving yards and 12 scores through 10 weeks. Fields has been hot, and this offense should cook vs. Atlanta. Kadarius Toney – Kansas City Chiefs Toney made his Kansas City debut last week, catching four of five targets for 57 yards and a touchdown against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Chiefs just placed Mecole Hardman on IR, and Juju Smith-Schuster is expected to miss the game with a concussion. Thus, opening up plenty of more opportunities for the human joystick-Toney. Toney led all wide receivers in juke rate in 2021 at 66.7% and has the skills necessary to be a difference-maker

Fantasy Football Injury Rundown

Cooper Kupp

Here are the key fantasy-relevant injury situations we’ll be monitoring with the fantasy football injury rundown. Both for this week’s action and moving forward. Also, be sure to check out our Week 11 waiver wire and FAAB recommendations. Also, be sure to join us in the FullTime Fantasy Discord Channel for injury updates throughout the week. Cooper Kupp (WR) Los Angeles Rams – Easily one of the most impactful injuries of a brutal season, Kupp will miss 4-6 weeks with a high-ankle sprain. The ankle will require surgery and could end Kupp’s season altogether. With the Rams virtually out of playoff contention, there will be little reason to bring Kupp back in a lost season. Zach Ertz (TE) Arizona Cardinals – Ertz was carted off the field on Sunday and will miss the remainder of the 2022 season with a knee injury. Trey McBride will take over as the starter. Dallas Goedert (TE) Philadelphia Eagles – A shoulder injury will keep Goedert sidelined for multiple weeks. Week 10 proved to be a devastating blow for the tight end position. A spot that is already dangerously thin. Jack Stoll, who plays 34% of snaps but has just 7 targets, is the next man up. Keenan Allen (WR) Los Angeles Chargers – Allen (hamstring) could return to practice this week. The veteran wideout originally hurt his hamstring in Week 1 and tried to return in Week 7. Even if he suits up in Week 11, Allen will likely be on a limited snap count. We recommend a wait-and-see approach before inserting Allen back into fantasy lineups. Mike Williams (WR) Los Angeles Chargers – The Chargers could also get Williams back to face Kansas City. Williams has been out since suffering a high-ankle sprain in Week 7. If Williams is active, he is a safer bet in lineups than Allen. Khalil Herbert (RB) Chicago Bears – A hip injury will keep Herbert out for at least four games. The Bears placed Herbert on short-term IR Tuesday. This should result in more work for David Montgomery. Trestan Ebner will also mix in as the RB2 behind Montgomery. Jerry Jeudy (WR) Denver Broncos – Any time a player is carted off (see: Zac Ertz) the prognosis isn’t good. However, Jeudy is day-to-day with an ankle injury. It would probably be best to leave Jeudy out of Week 11 lineups regardless of his status. There isn’t much upside in a Denver offense that is last in scoring. Gambling on a limited player in that attack is a recipe for disaster. Matthew Stafford (QB) Los Angeles Rams – Another big blow for the ailing Rams. Stafford was a surprising addition to the league’s concussion protocol last Wednesday. The veteran signal-caller was forced to sit last week. However, there is plenty of time for Stafford to be activated ahead of Week 11’s matchup with the Saints. Randall Cobb (WR) Green Bay Packers – Cobb has been absent since Week 7 with an ankle injury but is nearing a return. The aging wideout would return to slot duties and give QB Aaron Rodgers a much-needed veteran presence. P.J. Walker (QB) Carolina Panthers – An ankle injury will cause Walker to miss this week’s game. Baker Mayfield will be back under center against the Ravens and will be backed up by Sam Darnold. Walker is a drop candidate. Romeo Doubs (WR) Green Bay Packers – Doubs won’t play in Week 11 with a high-ankle sprain. Randy Bullock (PK) Tennessee Titans – Bullock injured his hip last week. He was able to play through the injury. However, Tuesday the Titans signed Josh Lambo to their practice squad. That move casts some doubts on Bullock’s Week 11 availability. Chase Young (DL) Washington Commanders – IDP enthusiasts rejoice. Young should debut this week. Plus, he gets an intriguing matchup against a horrid Texans squad. Shaquille Leonard (LB) Indianapolis Colts – Leonard will miss the rest of the 2022 campaign after being placed on season-ending IR with a back injury that required surgery.   ENTER OUR WEEK 11 DRAFT CONTEST! Fantasy Football Recap Week 10

Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins

We’re now 10 weeks into the 2022 season and we may have just had the best Sunday yet. This week’s slate offered up some fascinating games with plenty of scoring and back-and-forth action. Our Fantasy Football Recap Week 10 looks back at all the drama. Let’s look back on Sunday with the FullTime Fantasy Fantasy Football Recap Week 10 and see what we can learn from another Sunday of NFL action. Don’t Count Your Chickens That Buffalo versus Minnesota game was wild. First, we saw an unbelievable catch by Justin Jefferson. Just an amazing one-handed snag on a desperation throw to keep a drive alive. A few plays later, Jefferson seemingly caught a touchdown, which led to celebrations. Including me, where I sent a troll text to my group text thread. See, I have Jefferson in my lineup and was talking trash. Oops. The play was, rightfully, overturned and the Vikings were ultimately stopped short to end the game. Or at least seemingly. All the Bills had to do was take a safety or fall forward. They had a 99% chance of winning. Instead, Josh Allen never handled the snap, and the Vikings recovered the botched hand-off in the end-zone. But, it STILL wasn’t over. Buffalo drove down the field to send it into overtime. Now, Minnesota still emerged victorious but it drove home the point. Never start celebrating until it is over. But, as a natural observer, that was a highly-entertaining contest. Backfield Breakdown With so few teams employing a workhorse running back, it is essential for us to track how coaches divide their backfield touches. Here are the fantasy opportunities from some of Sunday’s backfields. Opportunities means carries plus targets.   Chicago – David Montgomery 40 snaps, 10 opp; Khalil Herbert 23 snaps, 10 opp. Cleveland – Nick Chubb 32 snaps, 15 opp; Kareem Hunt 24 snaps, 7 opp. Denver – Melvin Gordon 43 snaps 13 opp.; Latavius Murray 25 snaps, 12 opp.; Chase Edmonds 15 snaps, 3 opp. Detroit – Jamaal Williams 25 snaps, 16 opp.; D’Andre Swift 19 snaps, 8 opp.; Justin Jackson 17 snaps, 6 opp. Kansas City – Isiah Pacheco 35 snaps, 16 opp.; Jerick McKinnon 24 snaps, 9 opp.; Clyde Edwards-Helaire 4 snaps, 2 opp. Miami – Jeff Wilson 42 snaps, 22 opp.; Raheem Mostert 19 snaps, 12 opp. Pittsburgh – Najee Harris 50 snaps, 21 opp.; Jaylen Warren 36 snaps, 12 opp. Tampa Bay – Rachaad White 48 snaps, 22 opp.; Leonard Fournette 22 snaps, 15 opp. Ke’Shawn Vaughn 5 snaps, 3 opp. Week 10 Preview Week 10 byes: Jacksonville, Miami, Seattle, Tampa Bay Lines courtesy Draftkings   Tennessee at Green Bay (-1.5) Chicago at Atlanta (-3.5) Carolina at Baltimore (-12.5) Cleveland at Buffalo (-8.5) Washington at Houston (+2.5) Philadelphia at Indianapolis (+9) New York Jets at New England (-4) Los Angeles Rams at New Orleans (-1) Detroit at New York Giants (-4) Las Vegas at Denver (-2.5) Dallas at Minnesota (+2) Cincinnati at Pittsburgh (+4.5) Kansas City at Los Angeles Chargers (+7) San Francisco at Arizona (+4)   The 2022 NFL season is well underway but it’s not too late to get access to the best help out there! Fantasy Football Start ‘Em Sit ‘Em Week 10

Justin Fields

The fantasy football playoffs are just around the corner. With injuries and byes, fantasy managers have to make tough decisions. Our Fantasy Football Start ‘Em Sit Em Week 10 will help guide you to make the best decisions to benefit your fantasy rosters and walk away with a win. QUARTERBACKS  Start ‘Em Justin Fields (Chicago Bears) Chicago has finally figured out how to use Justin Fields. Over weeks 5-9, Fields is the QB1 in fantasy football, averaging 25.91 fantasy points per game. He has 851 passing yards during that stretch, eight touchdowns, and two interceptions. He has also rushed for 455 rushing yards and three more scores. In week 10, he faces off against the Detroit Lions, who have given up the 3rd most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks who average 20.95 fantasy points a game vs. them. Fields checks in as my QB4 in the preliminary rankings. Russell Wilson (Denver Broncos) Russell Wilson hasn’t been the quarterback we hoped for when we selected him in fantasy drafts. Year to date, he is QB21, ECR, he is QB17, but this week he checks into my top 13 as he faces off against the Titans, who give up the 7th most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks. The Titans also give up the 3rd most to opposing WRs and the 3rd most to opposing tight ends. There is a trend here; the titans have a terrible secondary. Denver is also coming off a bye week where they have had a little more time to get it together. It’s been clear Wilson has gained rapport with rookie tight end Greg Dulcich and WR Jerry Jeudy. I expect Russell Wilson to far exceed expectations in week 10. Sit ‘Em Geno Smith (Seattle Seahawks) Geno has far exceeded expectations and is one of the front runners in a wide variety of NFL honors, comeback player of the year, and MVP. He is the QB9 in fantasy points per game but faces off a pretty tough Buccaneers defense who have allowed the 3rd lowest yards per attempt and the 4th fewest success per dropback in the league. Derek Carr (Los Vegas Raiders) Derek Carr hasn’t produced up to this point despite the raiders landing Davante Adams in the offseason. Currently QB21 in fantasy points per game, Carr has been pretty pedestrian across the board. 16th in passing yards, 18th in yards per attempt, 32nd in true completion percentage, 28th in accuracy and 24th in pressured completion percentage. He faces off against the Colts, a top 13 team vs. opposing quarterbacks, who have allowed the 3rd-fewest passing yards per game and the 11th fewest touchdowns to opposing quarterbacks. RUNNING BACKS Start ‘Em Jeff Wilson (Miami Dolphins) Wilson joined the Miami Dolphins last week and immediately supplanted Raheem Mostert for lead-back duties. He out-snapped Mostert 49.1% to 47.4% while he was the clear favorite in passing situations. Wilson has familiarity with this McDaniel’s offense from their time spent together in San Francisco; he faces off against the Browns, who are the 5th-worst vs. the RB position. Cleveland has allowed 820 yards on the ground, 255 yards in the air, and 12 total touchdowns to opposing running backs. Travis Etienne (Jacksonville Jaguars) You don’t need me to tell you Travis Etienne is good at football. Since week 7, he has been the RB3 in PPR leagues, averaging 23.6 fantasy points per game. He is 5th in the league in the league in breakaway rate at 9.2%, 3rd in the league in breakaway runs, 5th in the league in yards per touch, 3rd in the league in yards per reception, and 5th in the league in red zone touches. ETN enters the Start ‘Em section as a top 5 running back in week 10. There aren’t very many names I’d consider above him. Sit ‘Em James Conner (Arizona Cardinals) Conner returned to action in Week 9, playing 71% of snaps with seven rushing attempts, 45 rushing yards, with five receptions for 19 yards. Conner gets the Los Angeles Rams in Week 10. LA has given up the 3rd fewest points to opposing running backs. Through 9 weeks, they have only given up 617 yards and three touchdowns. Najee Harris (Pittsburgh Steelers) Najee was one of the fades to start the season, and boy, have I been right. Currently the RB28 in fantasy points per game, Najee has been abysmal despite seeing 67.3% of the snaps. He is presently RB30 in rushing yards with 361, RB34 in receiving yards with 112, RB27 in TDs with 3, and RB61 in fantasy points per opportunity at 0.64. Additionally, beat writers expect Jaylen Warren to take more snaps in week ten as they face off against the New Orleans Saints. As a result, I wouldn’t trust Najee in lineups this week. WIDE RECEIVERS Start ‘Em Allen Lazard (Green Bay Packers) People need to start respecting Allen Lazard. Currently, the WR19 in PPR leagues Weeks 2-9 despite missing Week 8. He’s 5th in the league in deep targets, 11th in the league in red zone targets, 8th in the league in touchdowns, 20th in air yards, 14th in ADOT, and 14th in fantasy points per game. Romeo Doubs is out with an ankle injury, Christian Watson can’t seem to stay on the field, and the tight end play has been inconsistent at best. Expect Rodgers to lean on Lazard like he has all season. Chris Olave (New Orleans Saints) In the conversation for Rookie of The Year, Chris Olave is quietly the WR16 in fantasy points per game. In Week 10, he faces off against the Steelers, who are dead last in the league against the wide receiver position. However, through the first eight weeks of football, the Steelers have allowed 1703 receiving yards and ten touchdowns- the most in the league. Olave played 90% of snaps in week 9; he has the 10th most targets in the league with 72, the 15th most target share with 27%, he is 2nd in air yards

Fantasy Football Injury Rundown

The playoffs are right around the corner. Unfortunately, injuries seem to be mounting at the worst time. Our Fantasy Football Injury Rundown goes though all the injuries you need to be aware of. Here are the key fantasy-relevant injury situations we’ll be monitoring with the fantasy football injury rundown. Both for this week’s action and moving forward. Also, be sure to check out our Week 10 waiver wire and FAAB recommendations.   Josh Allen (QB) Buffalo Bills – Allen injured his UCL on Buffalo’s final drive but finished the game. The severity of the elbow injury is still to be determined. But it appears that Allen has avoided a full ligament tear and should be able to practice and play through the injury. After the initial hit, Allen uncorked a 70-yard throw, which is a good sign. Aaron Jones (RB) Green Bay Packers – Jones exited Week 9 with an ankle injury and did not return. Early indications are the team isn’t concerned about Jones’s Week 10 availability. However, monitoring this week’s practice participation will be a better indicator. Ezekiel Elliott (RB) Dallas Cowboys – Elliott sat out last week with a “minor” knee injury. However, Elliott wasn’t seen at practice Monday. As long as Elliott is able to practice later this week he should be back in action Sunday. We will update Elliott’s practice participation in the FullTime Discord. Damien Harris (RB) New England Patriots – Harris missed Week 9 with an illness but will have the bye to recover. He should be good to go for Week 11. Romeo Doubs (WR) Green Bay Packers – A high-ankle sprain could sideline Doubs for the rest of the fantasy season. The recovery time for this injury is typically 4-6 weeks. Green Bay is riding a 5-game losing streak and will have little incentive to rush Doubs back into action. Treylon Burks (WR) Tennessee Titans – Absent since Week 4 with a toe injury, Burks is eligible to return from IR. However, Tennesee’s 31st-rank passing attack won’t provide Burks enough opportunities to be anything more than a desperation WR4. Kenny Golladay (WR) New York Giants – On Tuesday, Golladay returned to practice. This was the first time Golladay has participated in practice since Week 4. The veteran wideout missed four games but hasn’t recorded a single reception since Week 1. Even if he plays, Golladay is well off the fantasy radar. Ryan Tannehill (QB) Tennessee Titans – Tannehill has now missed two starts with an ankle injury. However, he was pretty close to suiting up Sunday night. Considering how limited the Titans’ offense has been with Malik Willis under center, we tentatively expect Tannehill to start Week 10 versus Denver. Chuba Hubbard (RB) Carolina Panthers – Hubbard thought he could suit up last week but the Panthers erred on the side of caution. As it turns out, Carolina could have used the sophomore back in a humiliating defeat. Hubbard should return on Thursday against the Falcons. Gus Edwards (RB) Baltimore Ravens – Edwards missed Monday night’s win with a hamstring ailment. Baltimore has a bye this week so we expect Edwards to be good to go in Week 11. Jarvis Landry (WR) New Orleans Saints – Landry was able to participate in limited practice sessions ahead of Monday but was ultimately declared inactive. There’s a very good chance Landry will return this week versus Pittsburgh. Once cleared, Landry will reclaim slot duties from Tre’Quan Smith. Elijah Mitchell (RB) San Francisco 49ers – The 49ers designated Mitchell to return from Injured Reserve. Mitchell has 21 days to return to action for the first time since hurting his knee in the season opener. With Christian McCaffrey now atop the depth chart, Mitchell’s fantasy appeal is severely limited.   ENTER OUR WEEK 10 DRAFT CONTEST! How it Works: Draft your team using our On-Demand Simulator. Fantasy Football Recap Week 9

Cordarrelle Patterson

The weather isn’t the only thing cooling off. Well, at least it felt that way on Sunday. After a bonkers Week 8, our Fantasy Football Recap Week 9 seems to be lagging behind in one important category. Touchdowns. And this slate appeared to have so much potential, too. But that promise was undermined by uncharacteristic turnovers and poor quarterback play. Ultimately, just another Sunday on the calendar. Albeit another odd one is this wild 2022 campaign. Let’s look back on Sunday with our Fantasy Football Recap Week 9 and see what we can learn from another challenging Sunday. Leveled Up As much as I love football, the Houston Astros are my team. Ever since I was very young. Well, the Stros and Oilers, but that didn’t work out. However, being a fan of those teams in the 80s and 90s was integral to me growing up paranoid and insecure about ever seeing a championship. I swear no team in the history of sports was as brutal to their home fan base as those Oilers. Love Ya Blue, but that franchise always came up short. 35-3 3rd quarter leads, 12-game winning streaks, sideline fisticuffs from coaches. No matter what, they always blew it. And the Astros broke plenty of hearts along the way. 80, 86, 98, 2005..it was brutal. Speaking of 2005, the Longhorns brought what was my personal favorite sports moment that year. Up until 2017, at least.  But, they needed to see that. Good or bad. So when I prepared to take the very risky approach of watching the 2022 World Series Game 6 potential championship clincher with my fiance and her kids I took a risk. They’ve never seen me get really emotional. And good or bad, that was going to happen Saturday. Generally, I’m still paranoid when it comes to blowing leads in the biggest moments. Something about the past… However, I was oddly optimistic all day. And my Houston Astros did it. It was a great moment for my future family. Also, I make no apologies for being obnoxious about repping the “cheaters.” I believe I’ve earned it after decades of heartbreak. Backfield Breakdown With so few teams employing a workhorse running back, it is essential for us to track how coaches divide their backfield touches. Here are the fantasy opportunities from some of Sunday’s backfields. Opportunities means carries plus targets.   Atlanta – Cordarrelle Patterson 23 snap, 14 opp; Tyler Allgeier 23 snaps, 11 opp.; Caleb Huntley 13 saaps, 7 opp. Buffalo – Devin Singletary 47 snaps, 13 opp.; James Cook 14 snaps, 8 opp.; Nyheim Hines 3 snaps, 1 opp. Carolina – D’Onta Foreman 21 snaps, 10 opp.; Raheem Blackshear 17 snaps, 9 opp; Spencer Brown 13 snaps, 6 opp. Chicago – David Montgomery 52 snaps, 16 opp.; Khalil Herbert 21 snaps, 7 opp. Detroit – Jamaal Williams 38 snaps, 24 opp.; Justin Jackson 13 snaps, 4 opp.; D’Andre Swift 10 snaps, 6 opp. Green Bay – A.J. Dillon 49 snaps, 14 opp.; Aaron Jones 30 snaps, 11 opp. Miami – Jeff Wilson 28 snaps, 12 opp.; Raheem Mostert 26 snaps, 10 opp. New York Jets – Michael Carter 31 snaps, 13 opp.; James Robinson 25 snaps, 15 opp. Washington – Antonio Gibson 36 snaps, 14 opp.; Brian Robinson 28 snaps, 15 opp. Week 9 Preview Week 10 byes: Baltimore, Cincinnati, New England, New York Jets Lines courtesy Draftkings   Atlanta at Carolina (+2) Houston at New York Giants (-6) Detroit at Chicago (-2) Seattle at Tampa Bay (-1) Jacksonville at Kansas City (-9.5) Cleveland at Miami (-4) New Orleans at Pittsburgh (+2.5) Minnesota at Buffalo (-7.5) Denver at Tennessee (-2) Indianapolis at Las Vegas (-4.5) Arizona at Los Angeles Rams (-4) Dallas at Green Bay (+4.5) Los Angeles Chargers at San Francisco (-4) Washington at Philadelphia (-10.5)   The 2022 NFL season is well underway but it’s not too late to get access to the best help out there!
