Def vs WR Matchups Report

Vikings DB Patrick Peterson

This Fantasy Football tool shows you how well (or how poorly) each pass defense is performing against each position this NFL season.

RECEIVING YARDS ALLOWED BY POSITION

This new featured tool displays how each defense performs against their opponent’s receiving yardage gained by position.

So for example, if you see a team is ranked 1st vs. WR #1, that defense is currently the best at limiting their opponent’s WR #1 yardage compared to other teams. Or if you see a team is ranked 32nd against WR #2, that defense is the worst against WR #2’s or more accurately, the defense is allowing the most yards to WR #2’s compared to the other teams in the league. This a great tool to find and exploit useful matchups. Don’t forget to check out all the positions as well (WR #1, WR #2, Other WRs, TE & RB).

Fantasy Football Start ‘Em Sit ‘Em Week 17

Jared Goff

The 2022 fantasy football playoffs are here with many leagues in the championship round this week. The must-win games are here. Our Fantasy Football Start ‘Em Sit ‘Em Week 17 picks help you identify values to target and fades to avoid It is also crucial to know which waiver wire picks to make and to stay up-to-date on the injury report. Let’s take a look at some players to target or fade in the Fantasy Football Start ‘Em Sit ‘Em Week 17.  Editor’s note: This article is written by Bradley Stalder.  QUARTERBACKS  Start ‘Em Jared Goff (Detroit Lions) Jared Goff is a must-start in your championship week. He’s been the hottest quarterback as of late, finishing as a top-4 QB in three of the last four weeks. Much is made about Goff’s home-road splits, where Goff has finished with 17+ fantasy points at home in seven of eight games. The Bears have the worst defense DVOA in the NFL and the fewest defensive sacks in the NFL. In a dome, at home with the highest projected game total this week, Goff has the weapons in Amon-Ra St. Brown, DJ Chark, and D’Andre Swift to drub the Bears.  Gardner Minshew (Philadelphia Eagles) In his spot start in Week 16, Minshew finished as the QB5 on the week. Last Sunday, Minshew threw 2 TDs, rushed for another, and passed for 355 yards on 24 completions. A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith crushed even with Dallas Goedert returning from injured reserve. The Eagles are 6.5-point favorites in this home game against the New Orleans Saints.  Minshew is on the streaming radar as long as Jalen Hurts recovers from injury. Sit ‘Em Deshaun Watson (Cleveland Browns) The Browns are officially eliminated from the playoffs, and Deshaun Watson has played a big part in that failure. Watson has only completed 57% of his passes, averages 175 pass yards, and scores 12.3 fantasy points per game. Watson has finished as the QB20 or worse in three of his four games. Year 1 of the Browns-Watson marriage has not gone well. Washington also allows the 7th fewest passing yards to quarterbacks (198) per game.  Teddy Bridgewater (Miami Dolphins) Tua Tagovailoa is expected to miss Week 17 due to concussion protocol. In the two games Teddy Bridgewater has filled in for Tagovailoa and thrown more than 20 passes, he’s averaged 16 fantasy points per game. However, he faces the New England Patriots at home who rank as the 3rd toughest pass DVOA matchup on the season. Last season, Teddy Bridgewater finished above QB15 only three times in 14 games. Those are certainly reasons to temper expectations and find better streaming options among QBs. RUNNING BACKS Start ‘Em Brian Robinson (Washington Commanders) Fantasy managers can’t ignore the volume Brian Robinson has accumulated. In three of the last four games, Robinson has at least 20 touches. While only one of those games turned into a top-10 fantasy week (RB4 Week 12 vs ATL), Robinson gets a porous Cleveland defense that has nothing to play for in Week 17. The Browns are the 3rd most favorable rushing DVOA matchup and allow the 3rd most fantasy points to running backs. Volume + favorable matchup = major start for Robinson as a solid RB2. D’Andre Swift (Detroit Lions) Swift might have had his worst fantasy outing of the season in Week 16 against Carolina. But, Swift is poised for a bounce-back in Week 17. Swift played the 2nd most snaps of the season and still had 9 opportunities against Carolina. Those are underlying metrics that suggest he should have had a bigger day. In fact, Swift only caught 1 of his 5 targets in that game. The Bears allow the 4th most fantasy points to opposing RBs and are the 4th most favorable rush DVOA matchup. In a game that should turn into a shootout, Swift has the talent and is set to boom. Sit ‘Em Antonio Gibson (Washington Commanders) Do not plan to start Antonio Gibson in Week 17. He’s seriously questionable with a sprain and has missed practices this week. Even though it’s a plus matchup against the Browns, Gibson hasn’t rushed 10+ times since Week 11 and has finished no better than the RB35 in each of the last four games. If Gibson doesn’t go this week, Jonathan Williams is a deep-league desperation consideration in the Washington backfield.  Jamaal Williams (Detroit Lions) Williams had his worst game of the season in Week 16 against the Panthers, setting season lows in snap %, rush attempts, rush yards, and fantasy points. While he is expected to go against a generous Chicago Bears front-7, Williams may still be nursing a leg injury that limited his playing time against the Panthers. Williams hasn’t rushed for more than 37 yards nor has he scored in each of the last three games. In his last matchup against the Bears, Williams finished 16-59 on the ground. He did fall into the endzone in the last matchup but with limited snaps is not a trustworthy RB2 in championship week. WIDE RECEIVERS Start ‘Em Garrett Wilson (New York Jets) Mike White is expected back, which means good news for Garrett Wilson. In White’s 2-game absence, Garrett Wilson only caught 8 passes on 18 targets and had an average weekly finish of WR49. In White’s three starts, Wilson averaged 6 receptions for 112 yards and finished as the WR13. That resulted in two top-7 weekly finishes. Seattle is a plus Pass DVOA matchup and should allow for Wilson to “get his” in a nice rebound game.  DeVonta Smith (Philadelphia Eagles) Fantasy managers should make excuses for DeVonta Smith to make their fantasy lineups in Week 17. Over the last 4 weeks, DeVonta Smith has the 3rd most receiving yards (405) only behind Justin Jefferson and teammate AJ Brown, 2nd highest yards per reception (17.6) among WRs with 20+ targets, 2nd among WRs in yards after the catch per reception, and 7th in yards per route run. Smith may be WR15 in

Fantasy Football Injury Rundown

Tua Tagovailoa

You navigated troubled waters and have reached your destination: Championship week. Congratulations on advancing to the final week. FullTime’s Fantasy Football Injury Rundown will give you the latest news on players who may or may not be active in Week 17. Also, be sure to join us in the FullTime Fantasy Discord Channel for injury updates throughout the week. And, check the Week 17 waiver wire suggestions for help. Now, let’s check out the Week 17 fantasy football injury rundown. Tua Tagovailoa (QB) Miami Dolphins – Back in the NFL’s concussion protocol for the third second time, fantasy managers should be prepared to be without Tagovailoa this week. The Dolphins should step in and protect their franchise signal-caller. Expect Teddy Bridgewater to be under center against the Patriots. Lamar Jackson (QB) Baltimore Ravens – Jackson hasn’t practiced since injuring his PCL in Week 13. Also, since the Ravens have already clinched a playoff spot. There’s a good chance Jackson won’t be active again in the regular season. Jalen Hurts (QB) Philadelphia Eagles – After missing one game, Hurts is angling to play this week. Philadelphia needs one win to clinch the NFC’s only bye. However, the Eagles have a more-than-capable backup in Gardner Minshew. At best, Hurts is a 50/50 proposition for Sunday’s tilt. Tony Pollard (RB) Dallas Cowboys – Pollard (knee) missed a second consecutive practice Tuesday. The Cowboys travel to Dallas to take on the Titans on Thursday. As a result, Pollard is looking like a very questionable Week 16 option, especially on short rest. Tyler Lockett (WR) Seattle Seahawks – Lockett sat out last week after having surgery on his broken finger. However, it is possible Lockett could return in a limited capacity this week. That said we’ll monitor Lockett’s practice participation throughout the week. Christian Watson (WR) Green Bay Packers – Watson exited Week 16’s victory with an undisclosed left hip injury. Watson is listed as day-to-day. Greg Dulcich (TE) Denver Broncos – Another hamstring injury is likely to end Dulcich’s season. It wouldn’t make any sense for a team that just dismissed their coach to rush a player back in a lost season. If Dulcich is done, Denver would resort to a tight-end committee in Week 17. Antonio Gibson (RB) Washington Commanders – Gibson has an undisclosed sprain that puts his Week 17 status in doubt. Once we learn more about the location and severity of the ailment, we will update our Week 17 projections. Antonio Gibson is dealing with a “sprain,” Rivera said. Wouldn’t reveal the body part, but sounds concerning. That injury led to more Jonathan Williams last week. — Ben Standig (@BenStandig) December 27, 2022 Hunter Henry (TE) New England Patriots – New England has issues with both tight ends. Henry is in danger of missing Week 17 with a knee injury. Meanwhile, Jonnu Smith exited Week 16 with a potential concussion. We’ll monitor the status of both players and update Discord when news breaks. Will Dissly (TE) Seattle Seahawks – Seattle placed Dissly on IR with a knee injury. Because of that, Dissly’s 2022 fantasy season is over. Jaycee Horn (CB) Carolina Panthers – A broken wrist will end Jaycee Horn’s regular season. Simultaneously, the Panthers signed veteran DB Josh Norman to fill in. However, if Carolina makes a lengthy playoff run, Horn could suit up again in January.   ENTER OUR WEEK 17 DRAFT CONTEST! Fantasy Football Start ‘Em Sit ‘Em Week 16

Geno Smith

The 2022 fantasy football regular season has come to a close with the playoffs in full swing. The must-win games are here. Our Fantasy Football Start ‘Em Sit ‘Em Week 16 picks help you identify values to target and fades to avoid. It is also crucial to know which waiver wire picks to make and to stay up-to-date on the injury report. Here are our Fantasy Football Start ‘Em Sit ‘Em Week 16 Also, as a friendly reminder, there are 11 NFL games this Saturday.  Editor’s note: This article is written by Bradley Stalder.  QUARTERBACKS  Start ‘Em Geno Smith (Seattle Seahawks) That is, you are starting Pro Bowl QB, Geno Smith. Smith is currently the QB8 on the season in fantasy points per game, has thrown for 26 TDs in only 14 games, and has eight top-12 performances. The Chiefs give up the 4th most fantasy points to opposing QBs on the season and the game total between the Seahawks and Chiefs is at 49, among the highest of the week. In a potential shootout where Seattle is a 10-point dog, expect Geno Smith to have a bounce-back performance after a dismal Week 15 against the 49ers. Daniel Jones (New York Giants) The Giants and Vikings game is worth targeting in a week where there are few game-totals over 45 points. Earlier this season, Jones torched the secondary of the Detroit Lions for a season-high 341 passing yards (425 air yards) and 50 rushing yards. He’s faced difficult secondaries ever since. Now he gets Minnesota, who allows the 2nd most passing yards to QBs and 2nd most receiving yards to WRs on the season. And while Minnesota stifles running backs, they give up an additional 3.42 fantasy points per game for rushing QBs, the 7th highest rate in the league. Jones is 5th among QBs in rushing yards and has 5 rush TDs on the season. Put Jones on your streaming radar in Week 16. Sit ‘Em Deshaun Watson (Cleveland Browns) Watson has finished no better than the QB14 in his three starts thus far. He’s been held under 14 fantasy points and under 165 passing yards in two of his three games. Amari Cooper, the Browns leading WR, is still dealing with a hip injury.  While Watson’s had 6 rush attempts in each game it’s been hard for him to find running room. The Saints, on the other hand, only give up 15.6 fantasy points per game. Fantasy managers should avoid pass-catchers in this Saints-Browns game as the game total is a meager 32.5 and there is the expectation of weather significant enough to affect the game. It would be unsurprising to see 70+ rush attempts in this game.  Derek Carr (Las Vegas Raiders) Carr has struggled with accuracy this season. He ranks QB25 or worse in the following efficiency categories: Accuracy Rating, True Completion Percentage, Deep Ball Completion Percentage, Red Zone Accuracy, Clean Pocket Accuracy, Completion Percentage vs. Man Coverage, Completion Percentage vs. Zone Coverage, and Pressured Completion Percentage. With poor accuracy and wide receivers who cannot separate, that can pose a problem for Carr as he’s only finished as a top-8 QB once on the season– displaying a lack of upside. The Steelers are favored at home on Christmas Eve for what projects to be 18 team points for the Raiders. The Steelers have allowed the 2nd fewest passing yards to opposing QBs over the last 3 weeks. It’s not the cake-walk matchup fantasy managers might think.  RUNNING BACKS Start ‘Em Raheem Mostert (Miami Dolphins) Even if Jeff Wilson is back to being active for the Dolphins, start Mostert with confidence. He’s coming off a 17-136 performance against Buffalo. Now he gets Green Bay, with whom he has a tantalizing history. Back in 2020’s NFC Championship game, Mostert torched the Packers with a 29-220-4 rushing line. The Packers are among the most generous fantasy matchup for RBs, having allowed 196 rushing yards per game over the last three weeks– the most in the NFL.  Jerick McKinnon (Kansas City Chiefs) McKinnon, the RB1 overall in both Weeks 14 and 15, should be in the league-winner conversation. He’s averaged nearly 14 touches and over 100 total yards over the last 3 weeks. Seattle is a plus matchup, as the Seahawks allow the 2nd most fantasy points on the season and 3rd most rushing yards over the last three weeks to running backs. Fantasy managers shouldn’t fade Isiah Pacheco either, but McKinnon is the preferred back in the Chiefs backfield. Sit ‘Em D’Onta Foreman (Carolina Panthers) Fantasy managers were on tilt after Foreman gave a 10-9 performance in Week 15 against Pittsburgh. What’s more concerning is that Foreman saw his snap share drop to 30% and Chuba Hubbard’s exceed 50%. The Detroit matchup isn’t an easy one either. The Lions allow the fewest rushing yards to RBs over the last three weeks and give up the 7th fewest fantasy points to RBs on the season.  Zack Moss (Indianapolis Colts) The hype about Zack Moss seems unwarranted. Yes, Moss did garner 24 carries and 8 RedZone carries in the Week 15 game against Minnesota. But he only rushed for 81 yards and didn’t fall into the EndZone. On 8 Red Zone carries. Moss is averaging 1.1 yards per carry in the RedZone this season. His volume was a coaching decision to try (but was not successful) to salt away a 33-0 lead. Deon Jackson is a better pass-catcher and should be the preferred back in Indy moving forward. WIDE RECEIVERS Start ‘Em Garrett Wilson (New York Jets) Wilson is matchup-proof and quarterback-proof as much as a rookie can be. Wilson has finished as WR29 or better in six of his last seven games and with 95+ receiving yards in three of his last four. Even with Zach Wilson, arguably the worst-graded and efficiency-rated starting quarterback in the NFL, Garrett Wilson went 4-98 on 9 targets. The Jaguars give up the 2nd most receiving TDs and the 8th most fantasy points to

Fantasy Football Injury Rundown

Jalen Hurts

Congratulations on advancing to Week 16! The championship is just a week away. To advance on, our Fantasy Football Injury Rundown will help keep you up-to-date on all the fantasy-relevant injuries that will impact playoff rosters. Also, be sure to join us in the FullTime Fantasy Discord Channel for injury updates throughout the week. And, check the Week 16 waiver wire suggestions for help. Now, let’s check out the Week 16 fantasy football injury rundown. Friendly reminder: there are 11 NFL games this Saturday to plan around Jalen Hurts (QB) Philadelphia Eagles – The biggest injury to come out of Week 15 was one we didn’t even know occurred. Hurts sprained his right (throwing shoulder) last week but finished the game. He also took all of Philly’s practice snaps on Tuesday. There is some optimism that Hurts will be able to play through the injury. However, the Eagles have little to gain by rushing back the MVP candidate. That means there is a good chance Gardner Minshew will be under center Saturday. We should know more by Friday. Stay tuned and get ready for Minshew Mania. Jonathan Taylor (RB) Indianapolis Colts – Many a playoff game was lost when Taylor got hurt in the first quarter. A high-ankle sprain will end Taylor’s season, along with any shot at fantasy redemption. The Colts will finish out their lost 2022 campaign with a committee of Zack Moss and Deon Jackson. Also, Jordan Wilkins could be sprinkled in. Tyler Lockett (WR) Seattle Seahawks – Lockett had to have surgery on his injured finger and is expected to miss 1-2 weeks. This is a big blow for fantasy managers who have gotten a WR1 value out of Lockett this season. Marquise Goodwin should see a substantial increase in targets and snaps while Lockett is sidelined. Also, expect more targets for DK Metcalf in a scintillating matchup against the Chiefs. Dallas Goedert (TE) Philadelphia Eagles – The Eagles cleared Goedert to return to action this week. Godert has been out since hurting his shoulder in Week 10. This is great news for fantasy managers. Goedert will be an immediate TE1 down the stretch. Mecole Hardman (WR) Kansas City Chiefs – Another welcomed addition to fantasy lineups. Hardman has been out since suffering an abdominal injury in Week 9. Lamar Jackson (QB) Baltimore Ravens – There was growing optimism that Jackson will be able to play in Week 16 after missing two starts. However, Jackson missed Tuesday’s practice session. Also, the Ravens play Saturday which gives Jackson one less day to work with. We’ll update Jackson’s availability in the FullTime Discord channel. Courtland Sutton (WR) Denver Broncos – A hamstring injury has sidelined Sutton for two games. But, there is speculation that Sutton is trending towards playing in Week 16. QB Russell Wilson (concussion) could also return this week. Khalil Herbert (RB) Chicago Bears – The Bears opened Herbert’s 21-day window to return from short-term IR. Before he got hurt, Herbert was outplaying David Montgomery. Although his status for this week is in doubt, Herbert offers RB3/flex potential when he is back on the field. Corey Davis (WR) New York Jets – Davis (concussion) returned to practice Tuesday. The veteran wideout looked poised to return to face the Jaguars on Thursday. Mike White (QB) New York Jets – Zach Wilson will start Week 16 as White (ribs) won’t be ready to play on Thursday. Kenny Pickett (QB) Pittsburgh Steelers – After sitting out last week, Pickett (concussion) will be back under center on Saturday. The first-rounder will be back on the QB2 streaming list at home against a putrid Las Vegas secondary. Damien Harris (RB) New England Patriots – Reports indicated Harris was close to playing last week. He opened Week 16 with a limited practice session. If active, Harris would be on the RB3/4 borderline against the Bengals. Chris Olave (WR) New Orleans Saints – A hamstring injury limited Olave to just 27 (49%) snaps on Sunday. Hamstring injuries are notoriously easy to reoccur, so we’ll have to keep an eye on Olave’s practice participation all week. We may not know Olave’s status until Saturday morning. Equanimeous St. Brown (WR) Chicago Bears – St. Brown exited Week 15 with a head injury. Currently in the NFL’s concussion protocol, it will be difficult for St. Brown to suit up Saturday. Devin Duvernay (WR) Baltimore Ravens – Duvernay suffered a potentially season-ending foot injury on Tuesday. However, Duvernay has been ineffective for two months.   ENTER OUR WEEK 16 DRAFT CONTEST! Fantasy Football Start ‘Em Sit ‘Em Week 15

Tua Tagovailoa

The 2022 fantasy football regular season has come to a close with the playoffs looming. The must-win games are here. Our Fantasy Football Start ‘Em Sit ‘Em Week 15 picks help you identify values to target and fades to avoid. It is also crucial to know which waiver wire pick to make and to stay up-to-date on the injury report. Here are our Fantasy Football Start ‘Em Sit ‘Em Week 15. Also, as a friendly reminder, there are 3 NFL games this Saturday.  Editor’s note: This article is written by Bradley Stalder.  QUARTERBACKS  Start ‘Em Ryan Tannehill (Tennessee Titans) Tannehill’s a matchup-dependent start, as he’s finished as a top-12 QB against the Giants, Raiders, Packers, Broncos, and Jaguars defenses. And this week is an underrated matchup. The LA Chargers give up about 17 fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks and will be looking to push the ball down the field against the Tennessee secondary which gives up the most WR fantasy points on the season. The projected game total for Sunday’s matchup is a respectable 47 points. While Derrick Henry should be able to move the ball well against the porous Chargers’ run defense, this will also put the Titans into scoring position. Tannehill is on the streaming radar for the first week of the fantasy playoffs, especially with many other fringe QB1s with tougher matchups this week.  Matt Ryan (Indianapolis Colts) Start your quarterbacks against the Minnesota Vikings. The Vikings have been the 6th best Pass DVOA matchup on the year and allow the 6th most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks. Jared Goff just finished as the QB4 overall and threw for 330 yards, 3 TDs, and 0 INTs. The Colts- Vikings matchup is the 2nd highest projected game total on the week, and Matt Ryan has two top-5 finishes on the season Sit ‘Em Geno Smith (Seattle Seahawks) Geno has been absolutely sensational this season. But if there was a matchup to bench him, it’s against the 49ers. The first meeting between Smith and San Francisco did not end well. Smith didn’t throw a TD, and only earned 7 fantasy points, finishing as the QB30 on the week. San Francisco has continued to torch opposing QBs. On the season, the 49ers have allowed the 5th fewest fantasy points to QBs and have the 5th toughest pass DVOA. Even Tom Brady was only able to muster 12 fantasy points against SF in Week 14, throwing 1 TD and 2 INTs, finishing as the QB18 (there were only 26 starting QBs).  Tua Tagovailoa (Miami Dolphins) It’s clear that Tua isn’t right out there. Whether teams are adjusting to coaching schemes or the lingering effects of the sprained ankle from a few weeks ago, Tagovailoa has finished as the QB17 or worse each of the last three weeks. Jaylen Waddle is still dealing with a leg injury and Tyreek Hill picked up a pesky ankle injury in Week 14’s matchup. Buffalo only allows 13.4 fantasy points to opposing QBs on the season, and this week’s matchup only has a projected O/U of 42 points– with the Bills 7.5 home favorites. RUNNING BACKS Start ‘Em Isiah Pacheco (Kansas City Chiefs) Yes, backfield mate Jerick McKinnon finished as the RB1 overall in Week 14 (to the chagrin of many managers who benched him), but Pacheco has been consistently solid over the past 4 weeks. Pacheco finished no worse than the RB21 during that span. In fact, Pacheco’s targets have increased each of the last three weeks– a clear sign that the coaches trust his role. The most obvious part of this matchup is that the Houston Texans allow the most rushing yards to RBs on the season, and Pacheco has led the Chiefs in rushing yards each of the last five weeks.  JK Dobbins (Baltimore Ravens) Dobbins showed exactly what we wanted to see from him– vision and burst down the field. While he received criticism for finishing his long 50-yard run on Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Dobbins still showed he has breakaway speed. He finished 15-120-1 in his return from the knee injury. In Week 15, he faces a Browns defense that allows the 3rd most fantasy points to running backs on the season and has been the 3rd most favorable run defense, per Football Outsiders DVOA metric. Confidently fire up JK Dobbins as an RB2. Sit ‘Em Kenneth Walker/ Travis Homer/ DeeJay Dallas (Seattle Seahawks) This situation is probably worse than last week when fantasy managers knew in advance that Kenneth Walker would most likely sit due to his injury. Fast forward to Week 15, and Walker got in a limited practice on Monday and is trending toward playing Thursday night’s game against the 49ers. And, while San Francisco’s defense has been tough against opposing quarterbacks, they’ve been even stingier against running backs. The 49ers give up the fewest fantasy points, have a defensive line projected advantage of 56% over Seattle’s offensive line, and are Football Outsiders’ 2nd toughest Rush Defense, per their DVOA metric. It’s even worse if Walker can’t go or is limited. You should have a low level of confidence starting a Seattle Seahawks backfield in Week 15. Raheem Mostert (Miami Dolphins) We haven’t seen Mostert carry the ball more than 11 times since Week 8 against Detroit. Even then, he went 14-64 on the ground and finished as the RB36. Although Jeff Wilson is trending to miss Week 15, Mostert is a risky start. The Buffalo Bills give up the 10th fewest fantasy points to running backs, rank as the 3rd toughest rush DVOA matchup, and are projected by PFF to have a 53% advantage over the ailing Miami offensive line. WIDE RECEIVERS Start ‘Em Chris Olave (New Orleans Saints) Olave’s been on a bit of a cold streak as he headed into his bye week. He’s finished as the WR39 or worse in 3 of his last 4 games. Despite that, the impressive rookie is still WR6 in air yards, WR5 in air yards share,

Fantasy Football Injury Rundown

Kyler Murray

Week 14 will be remembered for all the wrong reasons. A number of key injuries kept many fantasy managers out of the playoffs just as they were needed the most. The FullTime Fantasy Football Injury Rundown goes over some of those key injuries. Plus, we’ll see how they impact the fantasy playoffs. Also, be sure to join us in the FullTime Fantasy Discord Channel for injury updates throughout the week. And, check the Week 15 waiver wire and FAAB suggestions for help. Now, let’s check out the Week 15 fantasy football injury rundown. Friendly reminder: there are 3 NFL games this Saturday to plan around Kyler Murray (QB) Arizona Cardinals – Monday night was a brutal game for injuries. Murray went down with a non-contact injury on Arizona’s third play. Unfortunately, we knew it was going to be bad. Sadly, Murray’s season is over with a torn ACL. Plus, with the injury occurring so late in the season, there is also a real chance Murray could open the 2023 season on the PUP list. Colt McCoy will step in for the fading Cardinals. Deebo Samuel (WR) San Francisco 49ers – Samuel was carted off the field on what appeared to be a severe leg injury. Tuesday it was reported that Samuel only suffered a sprained left ankle and potentially sprained MCL. While this is good news for Samuel’s 2023 prospects, his fantasy season is almost certainly over. Rhamondre Stevenson (RB) New England Patriots – Another victim of the Monday Massacre, Stevenson tried to return after an ankle injury but was in the locker room prior to halftime. Stevenson did not return in the second half. The initial diagnosis looks like a sprained left ankle but there has been no update (unsurprisingly) out of New England. Dameon Pierce (RB) Houston Texans – Pierce exited in the second half with a high-ankle sprain. The rookie rusher has been ruled out for Week 15. And, with the Texans having nothing to play for, there is little motivation for the club to rush Pierce back for Week 16. D.J. Moore (WR) Carolina Panthers – A week after blowing up, Moore put up a goose egg in Week 14. Of course, the star wideout also sprained his knee and is in danger of missing a week or two. The Panthers play Thursday, so there is next to no chance Moore will play in Week 15. Moore is day-to-day. Kenneth Walker (RB) Seattle Seahawks – Pete Carrol wisely held his star rookie out last week. This gives Walker a better chance of being fully healthy for the playoffs. However, with Seattle due up on Thursday, Walker should be considered very questionable. Tee Higgins (WR) Cincinnati Bengals – Higgins logged one snap in Week 14. A hamstring injury that occurred in practice ultimately kept Higgins on the sidelines. Also, the frustrating part is that there was no indication that the hamstring was going to be an issue at all. Higgins is day-to-day but this situation is hard to trust. Tyer Boyd (WR) Cincinnati Bengals – Boyd dislocated his finger and is expected to miss 1-2 weeks. Trenton Irwin will take over as Cincinnati’s slot receiver. Irwin should be considered a PPR waiver priority for the playoffs. Russell Wilson (QB) Denver Broncos – Wilson is in the NFL’s concussion protocol after slamming his head against the ground in the fourth quarter. If Wilson is forced to miss time, Brett Rypien would step in as the starter. Rypien would be a downgrade for the entire Denver offense. Jeff Wilson (RB) Miami Dolphins – Wilson left Sunday’s loss with a hip injury and was absent from practice on Tuesday. The Dolphins play on a short week so Wilson should be considered on the negative side of questionable. Kenny Pickett (QB) Pittsburgh Steelers – The Steelers lost their rookie signal caller to a first-half concussion. This is Pickett’s second concussion, so it would be no surprise to see the club exert caution. We’ll keep the Discord channel updated but for now, expect Mitchell Trubisky to get the starting nod in Carolina. DeVante Parker (WR) New England Patriots – A concussion also knocked Parker out of Monday’s brutal matchup. Parker will have to clear the protocol before he can return to action. Tyler Huntley (QB) Baltimore Ravens – Huntley also suffered a concussion early Sunday. However, Huntley returned to practice on Tuesday, which is a good sign that he should clear the league’s protocol in time to play this week. Dontrelle Hilliard (RB) Denver Broncos – Hilliard exited Week 14 with a neck injury. However, if Hilliard missed time, Hassan Haskins would take over as the change-of-pace back. Mike Boone (RB) Denver Broncos – Boone re-injured his ankle and the initial diagnosis is the dreaded high-ankle sprain. This will end Boone’s season. Marlon Mack played 32% of Denver’s snaps on Sunday and appears to be the team’s RB2 moving forward. Marcus Mariota (QB) Atlanta Falcons – The Falcons placed Mariota on IR. Desmond Ridder will take over as Atlanta’s starter.   ENTER OUR WEEK 15 DRAFT CONTEST! Fantasy Football Recap Week 14

Evan Engram

Week 14. The most pivotal week of the year. Millions of fantasy football playoff spots were clinched. And sadly, many seasons ended after an unpredictable Sunday slate. The FullTime Fantasy Football Recap Week 14 looks back on the final regular-season week of the season. This Fantasy Football Recap Week 14 will be our final look back at the 2022 season that was. From now on, we look forward with our eye on the prize. Also, as a friendly reminder, there are three NFL games this Saturday, so plan accordingly. DNR Did you leave Evan Engram on your bench to start Tyler Higbee? I hope you didn’t sign a DNR at the hospital. It’s hard not to overthink things with a potential playoff spot on the line. However, the pain from losing that spot can linger. Not just all offseason, but for years. Trust me- I know that all too well. I still get trash-talking texts from my buddy about Natrone Means. But the DNR that impacted us the most in Week 14 was the dreaded “Did Not Return” designation. In particular at the quarterback position. We had all kinds of QBs injured when we needed them to punch our fantasy postseason ticket. Tyler Huntley, already subbing in for the injured Lamar Jackson got hurt early and DNR. Kenny Pickett also DNR with a potential concussion. Then, there are the signal-callers that fan bases wish Do Not Return. Maybe ever again. Looking at you, Derek Carr.  Not to mention, this all took place in the same week that Baker Mayfield went from cast off in Carolina to hero in Los Angeles. There is just no way you could ever have predicted this week to play out the way it did. But, that’s what keeps us coming back for more, even if we wished it could all end via DNR. Backfield Breakdown With so few teams employing a workhorse running back, it is essential for us to track how coaches divide their backfield touches. Here are the fantasy opportunities from some of Sunday’s backfields. Opportunities means carries plus targets. Baltimore – J.K.
