PG Goran Dragic – 6,900 FD & 6,500 DK The Miami Heat are another team effect by injury tonight. With Hassan Whiteside injured, the Heat must continue to rely on Goran Dragic, Dion Waiters, James Johnson and Josh Richardson. The Minnesota Timberwolves allow the most points in the league to opposing point guards, allowing 60.8 FD points/game so far, this season. Goran Dragic has a favorable matchup against Jeff Teague, a player I would not consider a good defender. Other Cash PG Option(s): Mike Conley & Damian Lillard SG James Harden – 11,000 FD & 11,200 DK After Harden threw up yet another poor outing on Saturday against the Memphis Grizzles, lock him in at hopefully low ownership for GPP and/or cash lineups! The Philadelphia 76ers allow 55.9 FD points per game to opposing shooting guards. This stat has the 76ers ranked 4th worst in the league vs. Shooting Guard and dead last amongst teams on tonight’s slate. If this game stays close Harden could be in store for a massive game…possibly at low ownership considering his recent struggles. Other Cash SG Option(s): E’Twaun Moore (GPP) SF Kevin Durant – 10,300 FD & 9,800 DK On another night where the Small Forward position is very weak, grab guaranteed points where you can. Kevin Durant has an unreal floor and always carries a potentially massive ceiling. I’m not recommending Durant because of a favorable matchup or really any statistical backing. There’s simply too big of a difference in the projected between Kevin Durant and your other, lower priced options. The Golden State Warriors are favored at 5.5 with a 222 over-under. Other Cash SF Option(s): Josh Richardson (GPP) & Robert Covington PF Ben Simmons – 9,300 FD & 9,200 DK Ben Simmons has been unbelievably consistent, so far, this season, averaging 43.8 FD points per game over his first six games. Although unconfirmed at the moment, the 76ers should be dealing with injury problems tonight with J.J Reddick and Joel Embid. Considering the possible injuries, Ben Simmons should have a massive usage/minute’s uptick. The 76ers are underdogs at +7 with a 215.5 over-under. Other Cash PF Option(s): LaMarcus Aldridge C Clint Capela – 7,500 FD & 6,700 DK If Nene is out, fire up Clint Capela against a 76ers team that cannot guard the Center position. It’s that simple. Joel Embid is questionable and on limited minutes. If Nene’s out Capela will be Houston’s only remaining center. I expected him to play well with Harden, I recommend playing them together. The sky’s the limit for Capela if Nene is out in a close game against a weak 76ers defense. The Rockets are favored at – 7 with a 215 over-under. Other Cash Center Option(s): DeAndre Jordan
Jaguar Lou’s Cash Play’s – 10/27/17

PG Russell Westbrook – 11,500 FD & 11,400 DK The Minnesota Timberwolves allow the most points to opposing point guards, allowing 60.9 FD points per game (which is a significantly higher number than the next team down (The pacers allowing 56.8 FD PPG). Westbrook has been impressive to start the year and has consistently produced on the stat sheet. His $11,000 salary range on Fan Duel and Draft Kings is reasonable, you should still be able to have enough lineup flexibility for a solid remaining team. Russell Westbrook is matching up against Jeff Teague, I don’t have to tell you that Teague will not be a problem. The OKC thunder are favored at -2.5 in a 219 over-under. Other Cash PG Option(s): Kemba Walker & Spencer Dinwiddie (Safer GPP without Russell) SG Klay Thompson– 7,200 FD & 6,800 DK Klay Thompson is a safer, reasonably priced play on a night were nothing is guaranteed. Thompson matches up against Bradley Beal all night which solidifies his minutes and should be able to dominate in the transition game. Exposure to both Beal and Thompson is viable but Klay Thompson ranks slightly higher on my list of cash league play’s. The over-under is sky high at 230 favoring Golden State by -12. Let’s just hope Washington can keep it close! Other Cash SG Option(s): James Harden & Courtney Lee (GPP) SF Kevin Durant – 10,100 FD & 9,400 DK The Small Forward position is rough today! I recommend for cash lineups to find a way to lock in Kevin Durant and Paul George/Jimmy Butler *If Playing*. The margins between the elite options and the mid-tier option are just too large. In other words, Durant might not hit value tonight but, on Fan Duel specifically where position eligibility is less flexible, he might be your best and only option. GPP is another story but for cash leagues I’m going to assume you will need Kevin Durant in your lineup to win. Other Cash SF Option(s): DeMarre Carroll PF LaMarcus Aldridge – 9,000 FD & 8,200 DK LaMarcus Aldridge without Kawai Leonard is as safe as it gets. Aldridge has averaged 41.6 FD points over his first four games. His worst game was against Toronto where he totaled 38.1 FD points. Aldridge is the feature player in this offense until Leonard returns. His prices are high are the industry, but he is a safe play against the Orlando Magic – a poor defensive team. The San Antonio Spurs are favored at -5.5 with a 206 over-under. Other Cash PF Option(s): Carmelo Anthony C Steven Adams– 7,000 FD & 6,000 DK Steven Adams has had impressive game logs in three out of his first four games. His role in this new Oklahoma City Thunder offense obviously benefits his style of play. Adams matches up against Karl – Anthony Towns, which at first glance might seem like a bad matchup but KAT often allows high ceilings to opposing centers due to his role as Minnesota’s primary scorer. Steven Adams will benefit from good game out Russell Westbrook, so I recommend pairing them together. The Oklahoma City Thunder are favored at -2.5 in a 219 over-under. Other Cash Center Option(s): Karl-Anthony Towns, Enes Kanter & Marcin Gortat (GPP)
Jaguar Lou’s Cash Play’s – 10/26/17

Point Guard PG Jrue Holiday – 7,300 FD & 6,200 DK With Anthony Davis out, Jrue Holiday’s usage should be through the roof. The Pelicans have a major void in their offensive with Davis sidelined, Jrue Holiday should pick up most of the slack and at a 7,300 FD salary, he becomes a lock for me tonight on a small five game slate. Other Cash PG Option(s): Kyrie Irving & Damion Lillard Shooting Guard SG C.J McCollum – 7,700 FD & 7,300 DK McCollum finds himself in a nice matchup today facing Austin Rivers and the L.A Clippers. McCollum is a safe cash game play on a night were the Shooting Guard position has minimal elite options. The Portland Trail blazers are favored by -2.5 in a 215 over-under (highest O/U on the slate). Other Cash SG Option(s): Kent Bazemore Small Forward SF Giannis Antetokounmpo – 12,400 FD & 12,000 DK Giannis Antetokounmpo is too hot to fade right now. The only question is, can you fit him in your lineup considering his high, $12,400 Fan Duel salary & $12,000 Draft Kings Salary. His salary is high but he’s worth the price if you can figure out how to fit him in. Khris Middleton is the perfect hedge off Antetokounmpo. Other Cash SF Option(s): Evan Turner & Danilo Galinari Power Forward PF Blake Griffin – 6,300 FD & 5,800 DK Blake Griffin is by far the safest play at Power Forward tonight matching up against Al-Farouq Aminu and the Portland Trail Blazers. Griffin is priced up but well worth it. The L.A Clippers and the Portland Trail Blazers are in the highest over-under of the night with a close -2.5-point spread favoring the Trail Blazers. Exposure to this game is critical in order to win any league tonight, GPP or Cash. Other Cash PF Option(s): Jayson Tatum & John Collins (GPP) Center C DeMarcus Cousins– 11,800 FD & 11,500 DK With Anthony Davis out for tonight’s game against the Sacramento Kings, DeMarcus Cousins is almost guaranteed to go off against his old team. Don’t think too much, this is an easy lock! Other Cash Center Option(s): Marc Gasol & Willie Cauley-Stein (GPP) Sorry for the lack of depth in my write up today, back to normal content tomrorow. Good Luck! Jaguar
Week 8 RB Report

DraftKings Week 8 RB Report Codes: Favorable Matchup Neutral Matchup Risk/Against the Grain Tough Matchup with Limited Upside Ezekiel Elliott (DK – $9,100/FD – $9,000): The Cowboys' offensive line finally played up to their potential in Week 7. Elliott doubled his TDs output (3) with a season high 219 combined yards with a catch. His success (21.43 Fantasy points per game in PPR leagues) puts him ahead of his 2016 season (20.40) despite a nothing game in Week 2 (22 combined yards with four catches). HIs yards per carry (4.1) still needs some correction to get in line with last year (5.1). In his two games against the Redskins in 2016, Ezekiel had 207 combined yards with three TDs and four catches. RBs have 689 combined yards with six TDs and 37 catches vs. the Redskins. Todd Gurley had 136 combined yards with a TD and three catches and Kareem Hunt had 121 combined yards and four catches vs. the Redskins. Top shelf salary playing in an offense that is rounding into form. Top rated back on the week that requires a huge game to full his salary bucket. LeSean McCoy (DK – $8,700/FD – $8,400): McCoy continued his edge at home vs. the Bucs. He had a season high 28 touches leading to 122 combined yards with two TDs and five catches. His yards per carry (3.4) remain in a poor area. LeSean's salary jumped by $1,500 in one week. He's on pace for a career high in catches (85) and targets (104). McCoy only had one game with over 100 yards rushing and only two TDs in 2017. The Raiders struggled in two games vs. RBs (WAS – 270 combined yards with a TD and seven catches and LAC – 159 combined yards with two TDs and ten catches). RBs have 1,111 combined yards with five TDs and 37 catches vs. Oakland. Not the best resume in 2017 with a rising salary, but LeSean does play well at home while the Raiders have shown risk defending pass catching backs. Melvin Gordon (DK – $8,100/FD – $7,900): After two strong games (34.30 and 36.00 Fantasy points in PPR leagues), Gordon had a tough time finding open space vs. the Broncos (44 combined yards on 19 touches with a catch) in Week 7. Over his last three games, Melvin averaged 26.3 touches per game. After getting drilled by Kareem Hunt (246 combined yards with three TDs and five catches) in Week 1, the Patriots haven't allowed over 75 yards rushing to any other back. They do still have risk vs. RBs (1,133 combined yards with six TDs and 45 catches). New England allows 4.8 yards per rush and 10.6 yard per catch. Gordon is a three down back with high upside in catches and scoring ability. Viable while his salary continues to rise. Mark Ingram (DK – $7,400/FD – $7,200): The loss of Adrian Peterson in the Saints' offense has been a big win for Ingram over the last two weeks. Over this span, Mark has 260 combined yards with three TDs and nine catches while averaging 28 touches per game. His opportunity and success were helped by game score with New Orleans playing from the lead. Over his first four games, Ingram had fewer than 80 combined yards and no TDs in each game. His salary went from $4,400 to $7,400 in two weeks. The Bears are about league averaging defending RBs (877 combined yards with five TDs and 37 catches). They've done a nice job defending backs out of the backfield (6.3 yards per catch). Tough to believe in more follow through based on his higher salary and split role. This is a game where the Saints should play from the lead so follow through on touches could be attainable. New Orleans will score at home, but they’ve underachieved so far in passing TDs. Fade for me. Devonte Freeman (DK – $7,200/FD – $8,000): Freeman has fewer than 100 yards rushing in five of his six starts while scoring five TDs (none in his last two games). The Falcons' offense has lost its way over the last three games (41 points) with two of those games coming at home. Devonta averages 17.5 touches per game with a step back in value in the passing game (14/99 on 16 targets). The Jets struggled in three games vs. RBs (BUF – 208 combined yards with a TD and seven catches, OAK – 250 combined yards with three TDs and six catches, and JAC – 207 combined yards with a TD and eight catches). RBs have 1,102 combined yards against New York with seven TDs and 39 catches). Atlanta needs a win in bad way after losing three straight games to the AFC East. Freeman could be a big part of their game plan in Week 8. I don't love his touches or path, but he's in my thoughts as undervalued asset in this matchup. Jordan Howard (DK – $6,800/FD – $6,900): Howard has beast upside, but he's struggled to find his consistency in 2017. He has two games with over 100 yards rushing (23/140/2 and 36/167) while failing to gain over 80 yards in every other game. It's been three weeks since his last TD. His value in the passing game has been just about empty over the last three games (1/9 on one target). On the year, Jordan averages 21.4 touches per game thanks to his 36 rushes in Week 6. The Saints do have risk vs. the run (4.9 yards per rush), but RBs only have three rushing TDs. Chicago can't win without rushing the ball, but they will need to throw if the Saints open up a big lead. Possible impact game while being over looked by most Fantasy owners while also having disaster downside. Contrarian play. Christian McCaffrey (DK – $6,200/FD – $6,300): McCaffrey has been on a negative progression in rushing yards (4.0, 2.7, 2.3, 2.0, and 1.4) over his last four games
Jaguar Lou’s Cash Play’s -10/25/17

Point Guard PG Reggie Jackson – 6,900 FD & 6,000 DK Most people will be loving John Wall tonight for the matchup and the narrative against Lonzo Ball and the Los Angeles Lakers, and I get it. I do too. I’m just going to be a little more controversial, cause let’s be honest we all know Wall will go off tonight and that’s no fun to write about! But this is a cash game article so for the sake of keeping this about the money I’ll just say, if you have the salary for John Wall, just do it, but if you need a reasonably priced point guard and don’t have 10,000+ salary lying around Reggie Jackson can be the play you’re looking for. Reggie Jackson is matching up against Jeff Teague and a Minnesota Timberwolves team that allows the most points in the league to opposing point guards, allowing an averaging of 66.9 FD points /per game. The Timberwolves have had consistent problems guarding the PG position and tonight they face a red-hot Reggie Jackson in a game that is expected to be close with a relatively high 210 over-under. Despite his wide range of minutes (due to blowout scenarios), Jackson has managed to maintain an average of 34.5 FD points per game. pairing his recent success with his favorable matchup, Reggie Jackson is my favorite play tonight, especially at such reasonable industry prices. Other Cash PG Option(s): John Wall & Mike James/Darren Collison (safer GPP play’s) Shooting Guard SG Andrew Wiggins – 6,900 FD & 7,200 DK With Jimmy Butler confirmed out for Wednesday night’s game, the Minnesota Timberwolves will be relying heavily on two players; Andrew Wiggins and Karl Anthony Towns. Without Butlers presence in the offense, usage rates will sky rocket Wiggins and remain high for KAT. If this game stays close (which the spread indicates it should) having shares of Wiggins and KAT could be imperative if you plan on taking down a Cash or GPP game. At such reasonable salaries of 6,900 on Fan Duel and 2,300 on Draft Kings, I believe Wiggins has a 35-point floor to go along with 50+ point ceiling if he gets going. The Minnesota Timberwolves are underdogs by just 2 points in a 210 over-under. Other Cash SG Option(s): Devin Booker Small Forward SF Tobias Harris – 6,500 FD & 6,200 DK Tobias Harris has a great matchup in an expected close game with a high over-under. That sentence right there should be words to live by…In DFS at least. Harris matches up against Taj Gibson tonight as the Minnesota Timberwolves attempt to adjust their offense with Jimmy Butler sidelined. Tobias Harris has played exceptionally well this year averaging 30 FD points per game over his first four games. Vegas has this game favoring Detroit by just two in a 210 over-under. I expect Tobias Harris to be a featured part of Detroit’s offense tonight as Taj Gibson is literally no match for Harris with his ability to drive but also able to pull up for mid-range shots and three pointers. I like the game stack here but if you don’t Tobias Harris is a great play at 6,500 on Fan Duel and 6,200 on Draft Kings. Other Cash SF Option(s): Lebron James Power Forward PF Ben Simmons – 8,800 FD & 8,800 DK Ben Simmons has played like an All-Star over his first four games averaging 41.2 FD points per game. Simmons has solidified his spot in this offense and looks comfortable and confident. The only thing you need to do to love this play is look at his game logs. His minutes and usage are consistently high! In tonight’s matchup against Luc Mbah a Moute he should have no problem reaching value at his 8,800 FD salary. The 76ers are 3.5-point underdogs in a 221.5 expected total. There should be plenty of fantasy goodness to go around and considering Ben Simmons recent successes, I don’t think the bus stops here – matching up against Luc Mbah a Moute, a solid 31 years old defender but no match for Ben Simmons, a thriving 21-year-old that has 2’’ and 10 years on the Lakers Veteran. Other Cash PF Option(s): LaMarcus Aldridge Center C Karl-Anthony Towns– 10,100 FD & 8,600 DK With Jimmy Butler confirmed out for Wednesday night’s game, the Minnesota Timberwolves will be relying heavily on two players; Andrew Wiggins and Karl Anthony Towns. Similar to the games last season when Zach Levine was injured, the Timberwolves will be going back to a two-man domination with their most talented players. Usage will be sky high for KAT and Wiggins in tonight’s matchup against the Detroit Pistons. Las Vegas has this game favoring Detroit by just 2 points in a 210 over-under. This spread is encouraging and makes me like this game stack even more. Other Cash Center Option(s): Clint Capela
Jaguar Lou’s Cash Play’s – 10/24/17

PG D.J Augustin – 5,900 FD & 5,100 DK D.J Augustin’s price increased from 3,500 when I last wrote him up two days ago, to 5,900 on Fan Duel tonight. Now that’s a jump, but no surprise! Augustin is no fluke, with Elfrid Payton injured, D. J Augustin took advantage of his opportunity in his first start of the season on Saturday against the Cleveland Cavaliers totaling 33.8 FD points over just 26 minutes. Imagine what he could do with 30+ minutes in a close, high scoring game like he’s supposed to be in tonight against the Brooklyn Nets. D’Angelo Russell is a great offensive weapon but does not scare me on the defensive side of the court. We hope this game stays close which I think it might (Orlando is currently a 5 point favorite). I wrote up Augustin in his first start of the season and it paid off big time! Let’s see if he can do it again against D’Angelo Russel and the Brooklyn Nets. Other Cash PG Option(s): D’Angelo Russel, Kyrie Irving & Darren Collison (GPP Play) SG C.J McCollum – 7,800 FD & 7,100 DK C.J McCollum is a great play tonight against the New Orleans Pelicans who allow the most points to opposing shooting guards this season, averaging 58.9 FD points allowed / game. With Damion Lillard a possible/likely chalk for tonight’s small six game slate, fading Lillard and playing McCollum could be a beneficial contrarian play that separates your lineup from the rest. In fact, in a weird way, including both players in one lineup could be even more contrarian. The matchups are obviously favorable for both guards and with a high 217.5 over-under favored by 5 points I can guarantee there will be plenty of fantasy goodness in this game. Other Cash SG Option(s): Victor Oladipo SF Lebron James – 10,700 FD & 10,000 DK On a small six game slate, I don’t love the options we have at Small Forward tonight. When this happens, I like to go safe. Lebron James is currently at reasonable prices around the industry. With Dwayne Wade requesting to go to the bench, J.R Smith enters the starting lineup tonight. Make no mistake Lebron will be running this offense tonight with 36-year-old Jose Calderon expected to run the point. I think Wade’s move to the bench has a bigger impact on Lebron’s production than some might originally think. I’m expecting BIG numbers from Lebron tonight as he matches up against Paul Zipser who has a 0% chance containing Lebron. On a night where the Small Forward position has limited options, pay up for Lebron James on a Cavalier’s team with no Derrick Rose that is favored by 14.5 points with a 205.5 over-under. Yes, I am worried about the blow out, but I believe Lebron will reach value in the time that he’s on the court. Other Cash SF Option(s): Evan Fournier PF Kristaps Porzingis – 9,300 FD & 8,500 D Kristaps Porzingis is all the Knicks have. His usage and minutes should be through the roof all season for two simple reasons; firstly, he’s the Knicks only/best offensive option which has him heavily involved in the game and secondly, due to his size/weight at his position, he is constantly mismatched. Until Fan Duel and Draft Kings recognize him as an elite Power Forward by changing his salary, I will continue to roster Porzingis in Cash and GPP tournaments. Too safe, too cheap to pass up on. I’m expecting him to match up against Jalyen Brown tonight, which I would consider another mismatch favoring Porzingis. The Knicks are by 7.5 points in a 205 over-under. Let’s just hope there’s no blowout that limits Porzingis’ minutes. I don’t think there will be. Other Cash PF Option(s): Thad Young C Nikola Vucevic– 9,800 FD & 8,300 DK Nikola Vucevic has been one of the most consistent centers in the league over his first three games, averaging 51.3 FD PPG. The Magic’s offense has been dependent on Vucevic’s production over the first three games and I don’t expect that trend to end tonight as the Magic face the Brooklyn Nets at home. The Nets have allowed an average of 62.1 FD points per game to opposing Centers, ranking them fourth worst in the league. Nikola Vucevic matches up against Timofey Mozgov tonight, Mozgov should be no match for Vucevic. Aaron Gordon should be returning to the lineup, but I don’t think that will affect Nikola’s overall output considering his high overall usage necessary for this to function, let alone win. The Orlando Magic are favored at – 5 with a 229 over-under. Other Cash Center Option(s): Karl-Anthony Towns
Scouting The NBA – 10/24/17

Plays of the Day Value: Evan Turner can help you stay under budget and afford some top-tier names at other positions tonight. The Blazers point forward has been very steady off the bench, scoring in double figures in all three appearances this year and producing at least 25 DK points in the process and he faces the Pelicans 26th-ranked defense tonight. Fade: DeMarcus Cousins began the season with nearly equal production to Anthony Davis, but he’s beginning to turn it over too often and rebound much less than the Brow, while he’ll likely draw a tough defender tonight in Jusuf Nurkic on the road. Point Guards Damian Lillard – (8,400 DK/9,900 FD) – Like many star players tonight, Lillard is under priced on DK and over priced on FD. He’s a great play tonight against a Pelicans team that’s obviously stronger down low than on the perimeter, as they’ve given up the seventh-most FPPG (47.12) and sixth-most PPG (23.82) to opposing PGs so far this season. Dame averaged 27.7 PPG and shot 44% from downtown over 3 meetings with New Orleans last year and continues to produce even though C.J. McCollum returned from suspension, yet his price tag doesn’t reflect his lofty floor-ceiling combination. D.J. Augustin – (5,100 DK/5,900 FD) – With Elfrid Payton (hamstring) out and Aaron Gordon questionable, Augustin is in line for a start and another heavy workload tonight. HE proved capable of stepping up with 12 points and 10 assists to exceed value in a surprising win over Cleveland on Saturday. Now he’ll look to lead the Magic in arguably the best matchup possible for a PG, as Brooklyn ranks second in pace and is giving up the second-most PPG (121.7) so far this season. Augustin averaged 17.8 points and 7.2 assists per 36 minutes with Denver back in 2015-16 and he’s starting to benefit as Orlando increases its pace of play. Potential Value Patrick Beverley – (4,800 DK/6,000FD) – Beverley will have a more secure role with Milos Teodosic (foot) on the shelf for the next couple of weeks. Longshot D’Angelo Russell – (7,800 DK/7,800 FD) – Russell is still certainly the top scoring option for a fast-paced Brooklyn team and matching up against the diminutive Augustin increases his outlook. Shooting Guards Victor Oladipo – (7,200DK/7,600FD) – His role is quite secure in that the Pacers have no other true playmakers on the perimeter, yet you should use some caution in terms of exposure to Oladipo as he’ll likely have to deal with elite defender Jimmy Butler tonight. That being said, he’s averaging 25.7 points per 36 minutes and posting a career-high 30.2% usage rate, so he’s definitely worth using in a game with a 219-point Over/Under tonight. Evan Turner – (4,300DK/5,500FD) – In cash games, you could definitely go with Turner as a way to stay under budget and afford some top-tier names at other positions. The Blazers point forward has been very steady off the bench, scoring in double figures in all three appearances this year and producing at least 25 DK points in the process. Tonight he’ll face a Pelicans team that ranks 26th in defensive rating and has very little depth at the forward position, enhancing his prospects off the bench. Potential Value Allen Crabbe – (4,900 DK/4,800 FD)- Crabbe is a volume shooter, who is forced into a bigger role for the Nets with Jeremy Lin done for the year. Longshot Austin Rivers – (3,800 DK/4,500 FD) – Rivers should see more playing time with Teodosic out and he’s getting the green light despite his horrendous shooting to open the season. Small Forwards Joe Ingles – (4,700 DK/5,000 FD) – Of course you’d like to play a stud like LeBron James, but that’s just not feasible on this shorter slate with indispensable studs at other positions. Ingles is a grinder, who thrives on chaos and is averaging 2 steals per game on the young season, so a matchup between two tough defensive teams at Staples Center suits him. He actually leads the NBA in effective FG shooting (.846%) with a ridiculous 64.3% mark from downtown and Ricky Rubio’s deft passing is going a long way as far as generating looks for the steady lefty. With Rodney Hood (calf) likely to be hobbled or inactive again, Ingles makes for a solid value. Jonathon Simmons – (4,200 DK/4,400 FD) – Here’s a great value to help you afford all the studs at the power forward and center position tonight. Simmons has been great on a per-minute basis and got a chance to start on Saturday, responding with 19 points over just 20 minutes of playing time. The Magic draw the best matchup in DFS tonight against a fast-paced Nets team and Simmons is an elite athlete who thrives in the open court. Potential Value DeMarre Carroll – (5,000 DK/5,800 FD) – Carroll is a very good cash game play as a reliable source of production for the young Nets. Longshot Evan Fournier – (6,100 DK/7,000 FD) – Love Fournier’s price point on DK for tournament formats, as he could pile up the points in a fast-paced matchup against Brooklyn. Power Forwards Anthony Davis – (10,900 DK/12,200 FD) – It’s extremely difficult to afford Davis on FanDuel tonight and he’s quite pricey on DK, but for good reason, as he’s on a torrid run to open the season. He’s likely to stay hot against a Portland team that’s given up the third-most FPPG (49.49) to opposing PFs over the last two seasons and allowing the third-most FPPG (50.42) to the position so far this year. Even in an injury-plagued campaign last year, The Brow averaged 28 PPG and 12 RPG while shooting 53.7% from the floor over 3 meetings with the Blazers and he’s leading the league in MPG (39.7) with the best rebounding rate (22.2%) of his career through 3 appearances this season. Kristaps Porzingis – (8,500 DK/9,300 FD) – If you can’t afford The Brow, Porzingis
Jaguar Lou’s Cash Plays – 10/23/17

PG Goran Dragic – 7,100 FD & 7,000 DK With Hassan Whiteside injured for tonight matchup against the Atlanta Hawks, most of my Cash lineups will start by locking James Johnson and Goran Dragic and/or Dion Waiter. The matchup is great against Malcom Delaney, a solid player but no match for Miami’s PG/Sg Duo in Goran Dragic and Dion Waiters. Goran Dragic will have no problem running this offense benefiting off extra assists, shots and minutes with Whiteside out with a Knee. The Miami Heat are without their best player and still favored by 12 in a relatively high 204 over-under. Atlanta is very banged up at the moment with Dennis Schroder and Ersan Ilyasova already ruled out. I do expect this to be a blow out but Miami’s main offensive players should get the run necessary to hit value and if the game stay close, even better. Other Cash PG Option(s): Stephen Curry SG Devin Booker– 7,200 FD & 6,800 DK With Eric Bledsoe out, Devin Booker is my play of the day. We all saw what Booker is capable of last year when he put up 70 points in a game that Eric Bledsoe was also absent from. This is an easy choice Lock and Load Devin Booker tonight as he matches up against Buddy Hield who will not be able to guard Devin Booker, I can tell you that right now. I don’t know how Sacramento will adjust but Devin Booker is looking at close to a 40 FD point floor (assuming the game stays close). The Phoenix Suns are 2-point underdogs in a 208 over-under. Don’t think too much, lock him in. **I didn’t write up Harden because the news on Ryan Anderson isn’t out yet but if Anderson sits, Harden becomes a Cash Lock at 11,300 FD and 11,200 DK** Other Cash SG Option(s): James Harden SF Khris Middleton –6,900 FD & 6,100 DK With Malcom Brogdon sidelined for tonight game usage, shot attempts and minutes are going to sky rocket for Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton – the ONLY real offensively capable players in that starting lineup. Gary Payton is supposed to start at PG while Snell stays at the 2 but I don’t see Payton or Snell’s usage increasing, I don’t even see them running the point. I see a Milwaukee team being carried by Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton, I suggest investing in both players. The reason I am writing up Khris Middleton is because Giannis Antetokounmpo is an obvious play and priced accordingly, Middleton on the other hand carries the same high floor (relative to the player at hand) but at a much more reasonable salary. Other Cash SF Option(s): T.J Warren PF James Johnson – 5,900 FD & 6,300 DK With Hassan Whiteside injured for tonight matchup against the Atlanta Hawks, most of my Cash lineups will start by locking James Johnson and Goran Dragic/Dion Waiter. The Miami Heat are favored by 12 points in a 204 over-under with their best and most involved offensive weapon not playing! This is the dream. Goran Dragic, Dion Waiters and James Johnson should see a massive uptick in usage on the offensive side of the court. I actually have no problem rostering all three players to guarantee full exposure in Miami’s offense. My only worry is the blowout factor, but let’s hope that Dragic, Waiters and Johnson reach value before the game gets out of hand. If this game stays close all three players could be instore for huge games tonight! Other Cash PF Option(s): Giannis Antetokounmpo & Draymond Green C Marc Gasol – 8,700 FD & 7,900 DK Center was a tough call tonight, nothing popped out to me, with that said Marc Gasol is the safest play of tonight’s small 8 game slate. Marc Gasol will matchup against Clint Capela in a high scoring affair on the road in Houston. Gasol is averaging 48 FD points over his first two game. Considering his usage, it boils down to if the game stays close. This offense is built around Marc Gasol, if he’s on the floor he will reach value. His floor is high and so is his ceiling in a favorable matchup against Clint Capella/ Nene Hilario. Other Cash Center Option(s): Andre Drummond
