FFWC High-Stakes Recap: Week 12

We hope everyone enjoyed a fantastic Thanksgiving holiday. Week 12 of the FullTime Fantasy Football regular season is now complete. With all 32 NFL teams in action, scoring was up as we recorded one of our highest-scoring weeks this season. With just two weeks remaining, to secure a coveted playoff position, here is a look at the Top 20 Leaderboards across the four Major FFWC XI Tournaments. Fantasy Football World Championship Week 12, in the race to claim the $150K FFWC XI Grand Prize, was the third-highest-scoring week this season. After our 600 players posted 79,606.75 points last week, that number jumped to 88,813.75 combined points this week. Some modest moves occurred at the top and four new teams joined the FTF World Championship Top 20 Leaderboard. Continuing a long run at the top, Just(in) Time is the FFWC XI overall leader for an eleventh straight week. Led by Christian McCaffrey (30.90) and Keenan Allen (24.60), plus a rebound by Derrick Henry (20.60), Simeon Yarbrough and Brian Marzorini posted 167.25 points. In a possible FFWC SLOW 4 playoff preview, for the $4,000 League Championship Prize, Just(in) Time (9-3) scored a H2H win over House of Orange (10-2). Climbing one position, Team Honeycutt (10-2) moved from third to second overall. Unfazed, after a tough H2H loss by just 1.10 points last week, Steve Honeycutt piled up 188.10 points. C.J. Stroud (33.90), Tyreek Hill (25.40), and Keenan Allen (24.60) continue to lead the way. A season-high 25.90 points from Isiah Pacheco helped Team Honeycutt move from 27.20 to just 6.35 points out of first overall. Team Zefurs (11-1) moved from fourth to third overall. Posting consistent numbers, including a 169.60 recent three-week average, KJ Duke’s squad scored 172.70 points. Firing from Seat #5, in the FFWC Online 9/3 9 PM ET draft, Zefurs selected A.J. Brown (220.00), Keenan Allen (257.75), and D.J. Moore (206.40) with his first three picks. None of the other 599 FFWC XI players have that WR stack. With the Best Record already secured, plus a 198.75 Most Points lead, KJ is well positioned to collect the $10K Dominator league prize. Slipping two spots, Miss New Booty VII (11-1) went from second to fourth overall. Falling from the undefeated ranks, Oliver Dawoud’s squad posted 159.40 points. Although low by his standard, that total was above the 148.02 points per player Week 12 average. With the Best Record clinched Oliver is also closing in on a Dominator win as he leads the FFWC Online 8/26 league by 93.15 points. Back in the Top 5, for the sixth time this season, Mr Yellow Stickers (10-2) moved from sixth to fifth overall. Mike Schlissberg’s FFWC CIRCA 9/9 team racked up 184.05 points. Already stacked with players like C. McCaffrey, R. Mostert, K. Allen, and D.J. Moore, the recent surge by WR Brandin Cooks, plus the return of RB Kyren Williams, helps make Mike’s squad a strong playoff contender. Our FFWC XI “Shout Out of the Week” goes to a long-time FullTime Fantasy high-stakes player Biplab Mandal. Posting a Week 12 high 211.85 points, Team Bipcoin (10-2) jumped from 43rd to 18th overall. Biplab also moved into a Dominator position in FFWC SLOW 4 as he has a two-game lead in the standings. After entering the week 27.90 points off the pace, Team Bipcoin now leads that league by 30.65 points. From the “Never Stop Grinding” category, we salute Team Surf n Turf in the FFWC 9/9 league. Despite a 3-9 record, John Ross currently owns the second Most Points playoff position in his league by 25.50 points. If he can make it to the dance, John’s 140.29 points per week average isn’t far off the 146.45 PPW that our 2022 Champs, Detroit Iceholes, opened the playoffs with last season. After no one scored at least 200 points last week, ten teams reached that plateau during Week 12 action. Just two of the 600 FFWC XI teams remain undefeated. Angel’s Envy (13th), and Team Stanton (44th) are still perfect with a 12-0 record. Both teams are currently sitting in a $10K Dominator prize position. If the playoffs started this week, just 18.89 points would separate the top 100 FFWC XI scoring teams. That is down slightly from the 19.88-point gap last week. Circa Las Vegas Fantasy Championship Scoring was also up in our inaugural FullTime Fantasy Circa LVFC Tournament. The Week 11 group total was 139,354.90 and that number jumped to 155,815.80 during Week 12 action. Including the five new teams that entered the Top 20 Leaderboard, some big numbers were posted. The beat goes on, as Mr Yellow Stickers 1 (11-1) posted another high-scoring week and retained first overall for a third straight week. Mike Schlissberg’s Circa LVFC 6/8 team posted an impressive 200.35 points and his overall lead is now 86.00 points. With QB Dak Prescott (35.55) at the top, and the Niners DF/ST (10.00) at the bottom, Mike’s 11 starters all scored double-digit points. Four of those players posted 21.90 or more points. Back in second place, for the first time since Week 8, team 2 Bros DP (9-3) moved up two positions. Thanks in part to a solid build during the draft, Robert Dinges’ Circa LVFC SLOW 5 team racked up 196.20 points. From Seat #8, T. Kelce, J. Waddle, K. Allen, and D.J. Moore were Robert’s first four selections. He completed a three-player Miami stack, by adding T. Tagovailoa and R. Mostert in the 10th and 11th rounds. Slipping one spot, The Great Gatsby 18 dropped to third overall. Ray Cowart’s Circa LVFC GrindTime #3 squad scored 179.35 points. Ray’s team moved to 11-1 and continues to be led by Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb, and Keenan Allen. Ray is the only LVFC Owner with that three-player stack. Showing solid patience during the draft, Ray waited on Prescott (QB12) until the 11th round. Legend In My Own Mind 3 (9-3) moved from sixth to fourth place overall. Adding a second team to the Top 5 list, Mike Schlissberg’s

Now, let’s break down all the latest fantasy-relevant injury news in this week’s Fantasy Football Injury Report for Week 12. We will continually update this list. Week 12 Byes: None Joe Burrow (QB) Cincinnati Bengals – The most devastating blow of Week 11 was the superstar signal-caller Joe Burrow, who was in the middle of a hot streak. A seemingly innocuous wrist injury ended up being a season-ender. Losing Burrow will be the death knell for Cicinnati’s middling postseason changes. Also, it will have huge fantasy ramifications. And not just to Burrow managers. Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins are bound to drop off with Jake Browning under center. Mark Andrews (TE) Baltimore Ravens – Andrews had his ankle rolled up in what looked like a season-ending play. However, positive news came out Monday that Andrews may avoid IR. For now, expect him to be considered week-to-week with a good shot at being healthy for the fantasy playoffs. Also, Isaiah Likely is the player to target on the Week 12 waiver wire. Kenneth Walker (RB) Seattle Seahawks – Pete Carrol has not updated us yet on Walker’s status. But, with Seattle scheduled to host San Francisco on Thursday night, it seems safe to rule Walker out for Week 12. There is optimism that this is not a long-term oblique injury. Subsequently, in games that Walker misses, Zach Charbonnet has RB1 upside. You see Ken Walker reach for his lower left abdomen. Classically oblique related. Generally these injuries don’t last longer than 1-2 weeks. Fingers crossed. pic.twitter.com/2Eltpu8MwH — Edwin Porras, DPT (@FBInjuryDoc) November 19, 2023 Aaron Jones (RB) Green Bay Packers – Jones appeared to suffer a major knee injury, emotionally leaving the field on a cart. However, the Monday update stated that Jones sprained his MCL and is week-to-week. But, with Green Bay due to play in Detroit on Thursday morning, it is safe to rule Jones out for Week 12. Aaron Jones spoke briefly in locker room just now. Says he “caught a break.” pic.twitter.com/s00VCoMAwh — Matt Schneidman (@mattschneidman) November 19, 2023 Michael Thomas (WR) New Orleans Saints – New Orleans placed Thomas on IR with a knee injury. That means that Thomas will miss a minimum of four games, which means he’s out until the fantasy semi-finals. De’Von Achane (RB) Miami Dolphins – The long-awaited return of the goat didn’t last long. Achane reaggravated his existing knee injury after just two touches. There have not been any updates out of South Beach. But we anticipate a multi-week absence for Achane. Salvon Ahmed (RB) Miami Dolphins – The Dolphins also placed Salvon Ahmed on IR with an ankle injury. With De’Von Achane also out, expect Jeff Wilson to be more involved as the club’s RB2. Luke Musgrave (TE) Green Bay Packers – Mike LeFleur said that Luke Musgrave suffered a significant abdominal injury and is currently hospitalized. Seems certain that Musgrave will miss time. Tucker Kraft would be a replacement to target on the waiver wire. Cooper Kupp (WR) Los Angeles Rams – Another impactful early exit, Kupp suffered a sprained ankle and was unable to return during the Rams’ Week 11 victory over Seattle. Fortunately, it is not a high-ankle sprain. Kupp is day-to-day. Josh Downs (WR) Indianapolis Colts – Downs has been paying through an ankle injury that originally happened in training camp. However, Downs has played in every game so far and hopes that the well-timed Week 11 bye for the Colts will allow him to be at or near 100% for the fantasy playoff stretch drive. Geno Smith (QB) Seattle Seahawks – Smith missed some second-half snaps in Week 11 with an elbow ailment. However, Smith finished the game and is expected to start Seattle’s Thursday contest. We will tag Smith as a “watch practice reports” in the Week 12 fantasy football rankings. Justin Jefferson (WR) Minnesota Vikings – The Vikings designated Jefferson to return from IR last week. However, the club decided to rest their superstar wideout against Denver. Head coach Kevin O’Connell deemed Jefferson as questionable for Week 12. We should know more as the week progresses and will keep the FullTime Fantasy Discord updated. Kyren Williams (RB) Los Angeles Rams – Some good news. The Rams are expected to welcome Kyren Williams back this week. Before going on IR with an ankle injury, Williams was dominating touches. He still leads all running backs with an 82% snap share. However, Royce Freeman carved out a role while Williams was out. It remains to be seen how the touches will be divided starting this week. Antonio Gibson (RB) Washington Commanders – Another veteran back who sat in Week 10, Gibson is back practicing in full and should be back for the Commanders’ Thursday afternoon tilt in Dallas. Fantasy Football Start ‘Em Sit ‘Em Week 12

Fantasy Football Start ‘Em Sit ‘Em Week 12 Happy Thanksgiving! Week 12 is one of the best slates of the entire year, with it kicking off with a day full of food, family, and football. Our Fantasy Football Start ‘Em Sit ‘Em Week 12 picks will help you get off to a fast start. Additionally, FullTime Fantasy has some of the top tools of the trade and accurate rankings. Quarterbacks Start ‘Em Josh Dobbs (Minnesota Vikings) vs. Chicago Josh Dobbs is now firmly in the must-start category for fantasy football enthusiasts. Over his three appearances with the team this season, he has maintained an average of 22.3 fantasy points, showcasing his dual-threat through both passing and rushing. Dobbs has already become the leading rusher in touchdowns for the Vikings this season, boasting three scores. As the Vikings return to their home turf to face the Bears following a challenging prime-time loss to the Broncos, Dobbs sees an excellent opportunity to continue his impressive offensive performance under the guidance of head coach Kevin O’Connell. Trevor Lawrence (Jacksonville Jaguars) at Houston Last week he delivered a season-high 32.2 fantasy points in a convincing victory over the Titans. This outstanding performance instills more confidence in fantasy managers to start him in the upcoming matchup against the Texans, whose defense has allowed the ninth-highest points to quarterbacks in their last four games. The emergence of WR Calvin Ridley also helps as well. Finally, Lawrence has a strong track record at NRG Stadium in what is essentially a game for the AFC South lead. Sit ‘Em Jared Goff (Detroit Lions) vs. Green Bay Goff has entered a challenging stretch in his fantasy football season. Facing the Green Bay Packers in Week 12, a team with a top-10 passing defense, Goff’s recent struggles may persist. With zero rushing upside and a chance the Lions are playing from ahead Goff’s ceiling could be capped. The Lions enter this game favored by more than a touchdown. Running Backs Start ‘Em Raheem Mostert (Miami Dolphins) at New York Jets Mostert is reclaiming the spotlight for the Miami Dolphins. With De’Von Achane’s brief return ending due to a re-injured knee, Mostert took advantage of the situation with 22 carries against the Raiders, resulting in 86 yards, albeit without a touchdown. With the Dolphins playing on a short week and likely without Achane, Mostert is poised to resume his lead-back role against the New York Jets, known for their vulnerability to ground attacks. Jerome Ford (Cleveland Browns) at Denver Jerome Ford may not be putting up eye-popping numbers. But he has consistently scored 11 or more points in the last three games. Despite Kareem Hunt closing the gap in touches, Ford remains a solid flex starter, especially against the Broncos, who, despite recent improvements, still concede over six yards per carry since Week 8. Also, the Broncos have allowed the most fantasy points to running backs. That includes a league-worst 1,380 rushing yards to opposing running backs. Sit ‘Em James Cook (Buffalo Bills) at Philadelphia Cook has experienced inconsistency in the team’s backfield. Despite a couple of good weeks, facing the Philadelphia Eagles, known for the league’s best run defense, poses a significant challenge. While Cook may not be a must-sit, his success will likely hinge on receptions and finding the end zone, which are rarities for him. A.J. Dillon (Green Bay Packers) at Detroit Dilon has often been elevated in fantasy rankings in the absence of Aaron Jones. But the results have been underwhelming. Facing the Detroit Lions with a tough run defense, Dillon’s volume may prevent a complete downturn. But reaching double-digit fantasy points seems unlikely unless he scores a touchdown. The Lions allow the eighth-fewest fantasy points to running backs and have only allowed six touchdowns to RBs in 10 games. Wide Receivers Start ‘Em Zay Flowers (Baltimore Ravens) at Los Angeles Chargers Zay has faced disappointment over the past month, with only one game exceeding 8.0 fantasy points. However, with Mark Andrews sidelined and facing the Los Angeles Chargers, known for allowing the second-most points per game to wide receivers, Flowers has a favorable setup to shine. The potential absence of Andrews opens up a significant portion of Lamar Jackson’s targets, and Flowers, as the clear WR1, could capitalize on this opportunity. Jayden Reed (Green Bay Packers) at Detroit Reed has emerged as the primary third receiver, taking over the role in Week 11. With Wicks likely out due to injury, Reed, a second-round rookie, has showcased his playmaking abilities with 299 yards from scrimmage and two touchdowns in the last four games. Reed is poised for the fantasy football rookie wide receiver second-half breakout. Especially with the Love/Watson connection playing so poorly. Sit ‘Em Tyler Lockett (Seattle Seahawks) vs. San Francisco Lockett faces uncertainty due to a lingering hamstring injury and the potential limitations of quarterback Geno Smith. With both player and quarterback dealing with injuries, starting Lockett on Thursday night carries significant risk. Also, the Niners have struggled against ‘alpha’ receivers this season. Even if the Seahawks are fully healthy for this game, DK Metcalf fits the bill of the type of wideout who could go off. Terry McLaurin (Washington Commanders) at Dallas McLaurin faces challenges in fantasy football due to uncertainties surrounding quarterback Sam Howell’s recent drop in intended air yards per pass attempt. With a tough matchup against the Dallas Cowboys and limited production in recent weeks, McLaurin’s fantasy outlook is uncertain. Additionally, McLaurin hasn’t fared all that well against Dallas. In seven career matchups, McLaurin averages just 3.9 receptions, 53.3 yards, and 0.4 touchdowns. Not exactly WR1 wideout numbers. Tight Ends Start ‘Em David Njoku (Cleveland Browns) at Denver Njoku should continue to impress, especially against the Denver Broncos, who struggle against tight ends. Njoku has achieved double-digit fantasy points in each of the last five weeks, showcasing consistency despite changes in the quarterback position. Also, despite the quarterback woes, Njoku has been the overall TE7 over the last three weeks.
