FFWC High-Stakes Recap: Week 11

FFWC XI

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! Week 11 of the FullTime Fantasy Football regular season is now complete. Scoring was down slightly, as five games resulted in less than 38 total points being scored. With just three weeks remaining, to secure a playoff position, here is a look at the Top 20 Leaderboards across the four Major FFWC XI Tournaments. Fantasy Football World Championship Week 11, in the race to claim the $150K FFWC XI Grand Prize, saw scoring dip slightly. As an example, the Top 20 averaged 157.73 points per player, which is down from 178.35 points last week. Several squads made a big move, including the four new teams that joined the FTF World Championship Top 20 Leaderboard.  Retaining the top perch, Just(in) Time is the FFWC XI overall leader for a tenth straight week. Simeon Yarbrough and Brian Marzorini posted 155.6 points, which was the second-highest total in their FFWC SLOW 4 league. Looking like a playoff preview, and a battle for the $4,000 League Championship Prize, Just(in) Time (8-3) goes H2H with House of Orange I (10-1) this week. A win by David Strand’s squad will clinch the Best Record playoff position. Simeon and Brian lead the Most Points race by 182.50 points. Moving up two spots, from fourth to second, Miss New Booty VII continues a steady climb toward the top. Oliver Dawoud’s squad piled up 174.25 points and remains unbeaten with an 11-0 record. Looking to claim the $10K Dominator league prize, Oliver has clinched the Best Record in FFWC Online 8/26. He also leads the Most Points race by 99.25 points. Team Honeycutt slipped from second to third overall. Steve’s FFWC 8/22 9 PM ET league had one of the closest finishes this season. In a battle of 9-1 squads, Team Meyer escaped with a 166.85 to 165.80 victory over Team Honeycutt. RB Isiah Pacheco fell 1.10 points shy of securing a victory for Steve the during MNF game. While it can still happen, with a 211.00 Most Points lead, that is a rough way to slip out of a league Dominator position. Also dropping one spot, Zefurs (10-1) slipped from third to fourth overall. KJ Duke’s FFWC 9/3 9 PM ET squad posted 162.10 points. That total was well above the 132.68 points per team FFWC Week 11 average. Leading his league by two games, plus being 182.05 up in the points race, KJ is well positioned to secure a Dominator victory. He is also just 33.4 points out of first place overall, which is down slightly from his 39.9 deficit last week. Back in the Top 5, for the second time this season, Coyote Miscreants (8-3) moved from sixth to fifth overall. Another team making a steady climb, Mike Santos and Kurt Kuekes’ FFWC GrindTime 8/18 squad posted 162.10 points. After averaging 144.74 points per week, during the first three weeks, Coyote Miscreants have averaged 172.6 points over the last eight weeks.  Our FFWC XI “Shout Out of the Week” goes to Robbie Dinges who moved two teams into the Top 20 list. In particular, his Dingos Dreamteam+ScottyDog (8-3) team, which he co-owns with Scott Sanders, posted 178.85 points. Trying to spoil a Dominator run by team My Sack Hurts (9-3), and create a playoff in FFWC CIRCA VEGAS 9/8 2 PM PT league, Robbie and Scott sit 51.35 points behind in the Most Points race. After ten teams scored at least 200 points last week, no one reached that plateau during Week 11 action. Coyote Miscreants FFWC Online 8/16 9 PM ET team posted the highest score with 199.70 points. That moved Mike and Kurt from 186th to 92nd in the overall race. While they are three games out of their league Best Record race, Coyote Miscreants (5-6) moved to within 8.95 points of the Most Points playoff position. They go H2H with team Triple Threat 2 (7-4), who currently hold that position, this week. The three remaining undefeated teams all won their Week 11 H2H battle. Miss New Booty VII (2nd), Angel’s Envy (9th), and Team Stanton (48th) are still perfect with an 11-0 record. All three teams currently hold a $10K Dominator position in their league. If the playoffs started this week, just 19.88 points would separate the top 100 FFWC XI scoring teams. That is down slightly from the 20.69-point gap last week. Circa Las Vegas Fantasy Championship Scoring also dipped slightly in our inaugural FullTime Fantasy Circa LVFC Tournament. The group total slipped from 147,443.70 last week, to 139,354.90 total points during Week 11 action. However, some big numbers were posted, and that shifted the overall standings somewhat. Three new teams entered the Top 20 Leaderboard and one of them landed in the top seven. Mr Yellow Stickers 1 enjoyed another high-scoring week and retained first overall for a second straight week. Mike Schlissberg’s Circa LVFC 6/8 team posted 195.45 points, and his overall lead went from 21.60 to 67.90 points. While he has a comfortable 198.15 most point’s lead, Mr Yellow Stickers’ 10-1 record is tied for the top spot in his league. After jumping from 11th to second last week, The Great Gatsby 18 remains in second place overall. Ray Cowart’s Circa LVFC GrindTime #3 squad posted 149.15 points. While he lost some ground, to the LVFC leader, Ray would be just 6.17 points out of first place if the playoffs started this week.  Following a -10 drop in the Top 20 standings last week, LOB roared back and jumped from 16th the third overall. Mark Deming’s Circa LVFC 7/16 10 PM ET squad racked up 212.60 points. That was the third-highest LVFC Week 11 total. Moving up one spot, 2 Bros DP sits fourth overall. Robert Dinges’ Circa LVFC SLOW 5 team posted 167.75 points. That’s consistent with his 166.52 season average and marks the seventh straight week that 2 Bros DP has been in the Top 5.  Stumbling slightly, Team Mitchell 2 slipped from third to fifth. Mark Mitchell’s Circa LVFC 7/15 squad posted 138.75 points. Team

Week 11 DFS: Wide Receiver Report

The wide receiver story from last week had two chapters. The first was the high-scoring battle between the Lions and Chargers, leading to Keenan Allen (11/175/2) posting his second monster showing of the year while Amon-Ra St. Brown (8/165/1) finished fourth in fantasy points (30.50). The second verse came via the right arm of Dak Prescott. CeeDee Lamb (11/165/2) fell ten yards behind Allen, giving him the runner-up prize for the week. The rise of the Cowboys’ passing attack led to Brandin Cook (9/173/1) finishing third for the week. Six other wideouts scored between 21.00 and 26.50 fantasy points in PPR formats. Here are the top five wide receivers by scoring average after 10 weeks:

  • Tyreek Hill (25.03)
  • Keenan Allen (22.84)
  • A.J. Brown (22.61)
  • CeeDee Lamb (22.13)
  • Stefon Diggs (20.28)

Also, before we get into the Week 11 DFS: Wide Receiver Report, check out the QB Report, RB Report, and TE Report.

Elite Options

Tyreek Hill, MIA (DK – $9,300/FD – $9,800)

The Dolphins’ passing offense sputtered in two challenging road games vs. Philadelphia (216/1) and Kansas City (193/1) in Week 7 and Week 9. But Hill still had a floor of eight catches while working closer to the line of scrimmage (11/88/1 and 8/62 – one 20-yard catch ~ 7.9 yards per reception). From Week 5 to Week 8 (8/181/1, 6/163/1, 11/88/1, and 8/112/1), he scored in each game, leading to 30.10 FPPG in DraftKings scoring. His top three scores in fantasy points (44.50, 30.70, and 32.10) came in odds weeks of the NFL schedule. Hill has double-digit targets in four consecutive starts (10, 15, 13, and 10).

Las Vegas continues to play better than expected defending wide receivers (6th – 109/1,318/7 on 173 targets). No team gained more than 175 yards from their wideouts. Their defense allowed 22 touchdowns (11 passing) over 105 possessions, with quarterbacks gaining 6.6 yards per pass attempt. Their success has been helped by a favorable pass schedule (Kenny Pickett, Jordan Love, Mac Jones, Tyson Bagent, Tommy DeVito, and Zack Wilson). Amon-Ra St. Brown (6/108) is the only wide receiver to gain more than 100 yards.

The Raiders will have their hands full defending the run vs. Miami, inviting some winning big plays off play-action passes for Hill. Their top three cornerbacks for Las Vegas allowed a high catch rate. But they’ve minimized the damage in big plays. Hill’s quickness and ability to get open should shine through in this matchup. I expect a minimum of one long score, most likely against Marcus Peters (29/287/3 on 32 targets – per PFF) due to his gambling mentality. On the downside, Hill must score 37.00 fantasy points to fill his salary bucket. Bet on his floor (26.70 fantasy points) while understanding that Miami is a much better offense at home.

CeeDee Lamb, DAL (DK – $9,200/FD – $9,200)

Over the past three weeks, Dak Prescott upped his passing game, leading to 1,082 yards and 11 touchdowns while averaging 36.7 passes per game (31.7 over his first six starts). As a result, Lamb has three consecutive elite games (12/170/2, 11/191, and 11/165/2), thanks to a spike in his targets (14, 16, and 14). He finished 1st, 2nd, and 2nd in wide receiver scoring over this span. That lifted him to fourth (199.20 fantasy points) for the year. He is on pace to catch 128 passes for 1,981 yards and nine touchdowns. Last year, 24 of his 107 catches gained at least 20 yards. Lamb already gained 20 yards on 22 receptions in 2023.

Carolina has the fourth-best…

Week 11 NFL Player Props

For the first time this season, we didn’t have a profitable week. In Week 10, we finished 3-4 (-1.5 Units) and are now 31-24 (+8.8 Units) on the 2023 season. It’s time to get back in the winning column after a tough week with our Week 11 NFL Player Props.

As always, I will be listing my seven favorite player props as we prepare for Week 11’s slate of NFL action. Unlike last week when several high-powered offenses were on bye weeks such as the reigning AFC and NFC Champions, Week 11’s bye belongs to four mediocre teams: the Atlanta Falcons, New Orleans Saints, Indianapolis Colts, and the abysmal New England Patriots.

Fantasy football owners have an edge when it comes to prop betting because we are so in tune with individual player performances. As always, remember to odds shop at your different sportsbooks to find the best values for the prop bets listed below. Now, let’s get down to business and find the best Week 11 NFL player prop bets and continue our profitable NFL season.

Bryce Young OVER 34.5 pass attempts (-105)

The Panthers are now 10.5-point underdogs on the road against a filthy Dallas Cowboys defense. You might be wondering why I’d recommend this prop when Bryce Young has struggled so much and we’ve seen how dominant this Cowboys team can be. However, a blowout would result in Carolina playing catch-up and airing it out all night to try to even the score.

Dallas is 4-1 against the spread when laying at least six points this season and their average margin of victory in those four wins is 27.5 points (largely due to the New York Giants). Young is going to have to throw the ball if Carolina has any chance at keeping pace with Dallas’ high-octane offense.

It’s important to note that in every single game that Young started in which the Panthers lost by double digits, he attempted at least 38 passes. With the Panthers expected to fall behind big time in this game, the franchise will likely want to see what the No.1 pick in this year’s draft can do given this is already a lost season for the 1-8 Panthers. Even if they are down big, it’s hard to envision Young being benched. The team will want to further his development and not shake his confidence. Take the Over.

Week 11 DFS: Running Back Report

Brian Robinson surprised in the passing game (6/119/1) against Seattle, highlighted by a 51-yard catch and run for a touchdown, helping him to the top running back production (157 yards with one score and six catches) in Week 10. Jahmyr Gibbs (26.20 fantasy points) finished second, giving him an explosive run over the last three weeks (82.70 fantasy points). A starting job and over 80% of the running back snaps for Devin Singletary (30/150/1 with one catch for 11 yards) led to him rounding out the trifecta. Finally, only three other running backs score more than 20.00 fantasy points – Austin Ekeler (21.50), Javonte Williams (21.00), and Christian McCaffrey (20.20). Here are the top five running backs by scoring average after 10 games:

  • Christian McCaffrey (24.73)
  • Raheem Mostert (19.07)
  • Travis Etienne (18.92)
  • Kenneth Walker (15.00)
  • Rachaad White (14.83)

Also, check out FullTime Fantasy‘s Week 11 DFS QB Report and TE Report.

Top Tier Options

Christian McCaffrey, SF (DK – $9,300/FD – $10,000)

Nine games into 2023, McCaffrey only has one impact game (20/106/3 with seven catches for 71 yards and a touchdown) on his resume. His six high-floor outcomes (25.90, 22.50, 22.90, 23.60, 29.80, and 20.20) work well in the season-long contest but a more challenging piece to win with in the DFS market. A big lead by the 49ers vs. Jacksonville led to McCaffrey being on the field for 76% of their plays, coming after two high snaps games (100% and 97%). His scoring streak ended at 17 games in Week 10.

Tampa Bay comes into this matchup with the second-best defense vs. running backs (15.49 FPPG). No team scored more than 25.00 fantasy points from their backs in any game vs. the Bucs in 2023. Also, they allow 3.7 yards per rush, with running backs scoring only one touchdown (via the pass – 45/284/1 on 54 targets). Quarterbacks scored four times on the ground. However, the Eagles’ backs had the best success (30/173 with two catches for 13 yards).

McCaffrey has two data points that make him an against-the-grain option in Week 11. His salary requires 37+ fantasy points vs. a team that limits the damage in running back scoring. When the best player in the game is expected to be on a low number of rosters with the tools to post a monster showing on any given Sunday, he must be in the mix in the DFS market if possible…

Week 11 DFS: Tight End Report

Three of the top four tight ends in Week 8 finished first, second, and third in Week 10. T.J. Hockenson posted an elite game (11/134/1), propelling him over Travis Kelce in year-long rankings. Trey McBride (8/131) took home the silver medal, followed by George Kittle (3/116/1). No other tight end scored more than 16.50 fantasy points. Here are the top five players after 10 weeks ranked by scoring average in PPR formats:

  • T.J. Hockenson (16.21)
  • Travis Kelce (15.63)
  • Sam LaPorta (13.16)
  • Mark Andrews (13.11)
  • George Kittle (11.81)

Here are the top plays this week via the Week 11 DFS: Tight End Report. Also, check out the Week 11 DFS: QB Report.

Top Tier Options

George Kittle, SF (DK – $6,400/FD – $7,000)

In two of Kittle’s three best games, he only had four targets in each matchup. The first score was driven by touchdowns (3/67/3), and the second came from hitting on a 66-yard touchdown (3/116/1), with two other catches gaining at least 20 yards. His best opportunity (11 targets) came in a chaser game in Week 8 (9/149). Over his last three games, Kittle averaged 21.17 fantasy points in DraftKings scoring.

Tampa Bay sits 22nd vs. tight ends (53/514/2 on 78 targets). Their two touchdowns allowed came over the last three weeks, with Dalton Schultz drilling them for 10 catches for 130 yards and one touchdown. One other team (MIN – 11/67) had double targets, and five more offenses posted at least five catches.

Kittle has a higher salary than his overall chances (5.2 targets per game) compared to the best tight ends in the game. His yards per catch (16.0) create an edge, and he scored 11 times over his last 20 starts. Kittle is trending higher, but his impact value requires more targets. I view him as more of an option in a 49ers’ passing stack.

Sam LaPorta, DET (DK – $5,800/FD – $6,700)

Over the first nine games, LaPorta has a definable trend in the DFS market. He scored four touchdowns over four matchups at home (5/63, 8/84/1, 3/47/2, and 8/57/1), leading to 18.28 fantasy points per game. Away from Detroit, LaPorta has yet to deliver a playable outcome (5/39, 4/56, 4/36, 6/52, and 4/40) despite having a floor of four catches. Over his nine starts, LaPorta averages 7.1 targets and 10.1 yards per catch.

Chicago struggled vs. tight ends in four contests (KC – 8/78/1, WAS – 12/105/1, LAC – 5/52/2, and NO – 10/65/2). They rank 27th in tight end defense (65/516/6 on 80 targets). Tight ends gain short yards per catch (7.9), which is overcome by a high catch rate (81.3).

His resume at home and scoring ability give him a chance to…

Fantasy Football Start ‘Em Sit ‘Em Week 11

Kyler Murray

Fantasy Football Start ‘Em Sit ‘Em Week 11 We are already up to Week 11 and the fantasy playoffs are now within site. The best way to increase your odds of getting there is to know the top Fantasy Football Start ‘Em Sit ‘Em Week 11 options. FullTime Fantasy has you covered, along with some of the top tools of the trade and accurate rankings. Quarterbacks  Start ‘Em Kyler Murray (Arizona Cardinals) at Houston  In his season debut last week, Murray performed well by completing 19-of-32 passes for 249 yards and an interception. He also showcased his running ability, carrying the ball six times for 33 yards and a touchdown. These six rushes were consistent with his average per game over the past two seasons. Murray finished the week as the QB14. Ideally, he is expected to elevate his performance in the second game, especially facing a defense better suited to his strengths. The upcoming match is against the Houston Texans, who have conceded 7.5 passing yards per attempt, ranking them eighth-worst among defenses. Notably, Murray has demonstrated higher proficiency against zone defenses, earning a 66.7 grade compared to a 51.2 grade against man defenses over the past two seasons. The Texans, employing zone defense on over 80% of pass plays this season, provide a favorable setting. Although the Cardinals won last week, they are underdogs on the road, potentially leading to more passing opportunities for Murray. Josh Dobbs (Minnesota Vikings) at Denver Dobbs continued his impressive performance in Week 10 against New Orleans, accumulating over 27 fantasy points. He has now scored at least 26.9 fantasy points in three consecutive games, including two with the Vikings. There is a possibility of Justin Jefferson’s return in Week 11, further strengthening Dobbs’ receiving corps. Despite the uncertainty, Dobbs has excelled as a running quarterback, securing a rushing touchdown in four consecutive games and amassing seven games this season with at least 41 rushing yards. Facing the Broncos in Week 11, who rank fifth in fantasy points allowed to opposing quarterbacks, Dobbs should be considered a top-10 fantasy quarterback in all leagues. Sit ‘Em Trevor Lawrence (Jacksonville Jaguars) vs. Tennessee Lawrence’s fantasy performances have been inconsistent, finishing among the top-12 fantasy quarterbacks only three times this season. With a low touchdown percentage and facing a Tennessee Titans team that has allowed only 10 touchdown passes, Lawrence may struggle to deliver a strong fantasy performance. The Jaguars’ clear favoritism in the upcoming game could lead to a reliance on running back Travis Etienne Jr., further limiting Lawrence’s fantasy output. Also, if you’ve been starting Lawrence and waiting for the stats to catch up to the draft hype, this isn’t as enticing as a matchup as it appears. Baker Mayfield (Tampa Bay Buccaneers) at San Francisco Mayfield, despite recent solid fantasy performances, faces a challenging Week 11 matchup against the San Francisco 49ers. San Francisco’s defense stifled Trevor Lawrence in the previous week. And Mayfield, dealing with a thumb injury, might find it difficult against an improved 49ers pass rush featuring Chase Young. While expected to play through the injury, Mayfield is a cautious start, recommended only in Superflex and two-quarterback leagues. Running Backs Start ‘Em Darrel Henderson (Los Angeles Rams) vs. Seattle Kyren Williams’ potential return from injured reserve in Week 12 means this may be Henderson’s last shot to start.  Henderson has delivered solid performances, surpassing 11 fantasy points in two of his three spot starts. Despite sharing playing time with Royce Freeman, Henderson receives valuable opportunities in the passing game and near the goal line. This week’s matchup against the Seahawks is particularly favorable, as they have allowed the fourth-most rushing yards and fifth-most rushing touchdowns to running backs since Week 6. With the Seahawks yielding a league-high 5.2 yards per carry to the position during that span, starting Henderson is recommended. Jerome Ford (Cleveland Browns) vs. Pittsburgh  The last two weeks have provided stability, with both Ford and Kareem Hunt healthy. Ford, playing 64% of offensive snaps in the last two games, has run for 151 yards on 37 carries. Although Hunt dominates goal-line and short-yardage carries, limiting Ford’s touchdown potential, this week’s matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers, allowing 4.5 yards per carry to runners this season, positions Ford as a fantasy starter. In their previous matchup against Pittsburgh, Ford ran 16 times for 106 yards and caught three passes for 25 yards and a touchdown, showcasing his ability to perform even in challenging situations. The over/under of this game indicates that running will be at a premium. Therefore, Ford looks like a good play. Sit ‘Em Najee Harris (Pittsburgh Steelers) at Cleveland Harris, while enjoying an impressive stretch over the last four weeks, faces challenges in Week 11. Jaylen Warren’s increasing share of carries and the tough matchup against the Cleveland Browns make Harris a riskier start. The Browns have the sixth-fewest fantasy points allowed to running backs this season, and Harris struggled in their Week 2 matchup. With the Steelers having the fourth-worst schedule for running backs this week,  Harris may encounter difficulties in maintaining his recent fantasy success. Isiah Pacheco (Kansas City Chiefs) vs. Philadelphia  Pacheco, coming off a bye week, faces a tough matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles, who rank first in fewest fantasy points allowed to opposing running backs. With Pacheco struggling in recent games and the Eagles allowing only three running backs to score at least 13.1 PPR points this season, he is a low-end starter at best for Week 11. Consider sitting Pacheco, especially considering the strength of the Eagles’ defense against running backs. Wide Receivers Start ‘Em Jayden Reed (Green Bay Packers) vs. LA Chargers Reed is emerging as the top receiver for the Packers, evidenced by his recent performance with five catches for 84 yards and a touchdown against the Steelers in Week 10. Over the past four games, Reed has achieved at least 11.1 PPR points in three outings, including two touchdowns. With a favorable matchup against the Chargers

Week 11 NFL Quarterback Report Over the last three weeks (1,132 combined yards with 12 touchdowns), Dak Prescott has been the best quarterback in the NFL while posting 3rd (32.10), 2nd (32.10), and 1st (42.90) place finishes in four-point passing

Week 11 NFL Quarterback Report

Over the last three weeks (1,132 combined yards with 12 touchdowns), Dak Prescott has been the best quarterback in the NFL while posting 3rd (32.10), 2nd (32.10), and 1st (42.90) place finishes in four-point passing touchdown leagues. Thirteen quarterbacks scored at least 20.00 fantasy points in Week 10. Justin Herbert (32.65) had the second-highest quarterback score last week, followed by Sam Howell (28.30), Joshua Dobbs (27.80), and Geno Smith (27.75). Here are the top five quarterbacks by scoring average after 10 games:

  • Jalen Hurts (26.66)
  • Josh Allen (26.46)
  • Justin Herbert (23.75)
  • C.J. Stroud (23.21)
  • Dak Prescott (23.15)

Using our Week 11 Fantasy Football Rankings, let’s break down this week’s field in the FullTime Fantasy Week 11 NFL Quarterback Report.

Top Tier Options

Josh Allen, BUF (DK – $8,200/FD – $9,000)

The Bills desperately need a win to put their team back on a playoff track. Allen ranks second in quarterback scoring (264.60) while posting three winning days (39.70, 32.35, and 33.30 fantasy points) and two dismal showings (15.40 and 19.15 fantasy points). In Week 1, the Jets held him to 272 combined yards with one touchdown. Allen scored a rushing touchdown in seven of his last eight games despite trailing his previous path in attempts (48) and run yards (246). New York also held him to two short games (205/0 and 147/1) passing the ball in 2022. Allen did have success on the ground (9/86/2 and 10/47/1).

New York has the seventh-best defense against quarterbacks (16.43 FPPG) while facing BUF (272/1), DAL (269/2), KC (254/1), and PHI (327/2). They allow 5.8 yards per pass attempt, with quarterbacks tossing nine touchdowns. Their defense has 25 sacks (18 over their last five matchups).

Allen has the highest quarterback salary on the board this week, with Jalen Hurts and Patrick Mahomes playing on Monday night. He has an against-the-grain feel, making him a lower percentage own in the DFS market…

Thursday Night Football Preview: Week 11

We need redemption after last week’s clunker. Fortunately, this week’s Thursday tilt featured two contenders from the tough AFC North. The FullTime Fantasy Thursday Night Football Preview: Week 11 breaks down the fantasy and sports betting prospects for the Bengals versus Ravens slugfest.

The road through the AFC playoffs currently goes through Baltimore. John Harbaugh’s Ravens boast an AFC-best 7-3 mark and will be amped to right the ship after a last-second loss to Cleveland in Week 10. Baltimore’s +113 point differential is the best in the league and the club is preparing for this game as if it were a postseason contest.

Meanwhile, the Bengals are also coming off of an emotional home loss to a Texans team that Baltimore easily handled in Week 1. The Bengals got off to a rough start thanks to Joe Burrow’s calf injury. But Zac Taylor’s had won four straight before Week 10. One of Cincinnati’s losses came to Baltimore, so the Bengals will be extra motivated to even the score.

Baltimore opened as a slight favorite. However, the line has shifted to the Bengals currently listed as 3.5-point underdogs. And the opening total of the game was 43.5.

TEAM OFFENSE PASS RUSH YDS/PLAY POINTS
Cincinnati Bengals 27 16 32 23 20
Baltimore Ravens 4 20 1 5 5

It is quite unusual to see the Bengals sporting a bottom-tier offense. But most of those struggles can be attributed to Joe Burrow’s preseason calf strain. The Bengals scored one of zero touchdowns in three of their first four games- the main culprit in that 1-3 start.

However, things have drastically turned around since that 34-20 drubbing of the Cardinals. Burrow has been the fantasy QB4 over the last four games. Also, the running game has struggled all season. Cincinnati is running for an NFL-worst 74.8 yards per game. Facing the NFL’s top run defense, don’t expect those numbers to improve on Thursday.

While the Ravens rank fourth in the NFL in offense, their performance has fallen flat. Todd Monken’s high-octane passing attack hasn’t come to fruition. Instead, Baltimore is back to being an old-school Ravens’ offense that leads the league in rushing.

Also, Baltimore’s defense ranks fourth overall while leading the league in fewest points allowed. The Ravens have won four of their last five when hosting the Bengals. Another victory would seriously hamper Cincinnati’s postseason hopes.

Finally, weather shouldn’t be a factor. Gametime temperatures are projected to be 52 degrees with less than a 10% chance of showers.

Cincinnati Offense

Cincinnati’s passing game has improved at the same rate as Joe Burrow‘s recovery…

Now, let’s break down all the latest fantasy-relevant injury news in this week’s  Fantasy Football Injury Report for Week 11. We will continually update this list. Week 11 Byes: Atlanta, Indianapolis, New England, New Orleans Deshaun Watson (QB) Cleveland Browns – A surprising update. Watson played through a shoulder injury against Baltimore but will have season-ending surgery. Desperate fantasy managers can now target P.J. Walker on the waiver wire. But this is a huge blow for the contending Browns. Deshaun Watson will undergo season-ending surgery on a broken bone in his throwing shoulder. pic.twitter.com/W79ku2xzND — Cleveland Browns (@Browns) November 15, 2023 Tee Higgins (WR) Cincinnati Bengals – It looks like Higgins will miss Week 11 with a hamstring injury. The Bengals play on Thursday, which leaves Higgins less time to recover. He will not practice this week. Even if he were active for this game, Higgins would likely be used as a decoy, and no fantasy manager wants to relive that experience. De’Von Achane (RB) Miami Dolphins – The Dolphins already cleared Achane to return to face the soft Raiders run defense this week. Also, Achane is expected to be 100% healthy and recovered, putting him squarely in the RB2 radar. Justin Jefferson (WR) Minnesota Vikings – The Vikings opened the 21-day window for Jefferson to return prior to Week 10. However, they kept him out last week. Now, reports indicate that the club is just in the process of ramping up his activity, so don’t expect Jefferson to be active in Week 11. Alexander Mattison (RB) Minnesota Vikings – Mattison is in concussion protocol. Ty Chandler makes sense as a waiver wire add for Mattison managers. Hayden Hurst (TE) Carolina Panthers – Hurst is also in concussion protocol. Michael Thomas (WR) New Orleans Saints – New Orleans is off this week, so there may not be any updates on Thomas. However, there has been talk that he suffered a mild MCL sprain, which would keep Thomas sidelined for 2-4 weeks. Odell Beckham (WR) Baltimore Ravens – Beckham sat out Tuesday’s practice with a sore knee. However, Beckham played through it in Week 10 and there doesn’t seem to be much concern at this point. Seems like a veteran rest day. Justin Fields (QB) Chicago Bears – Fields has now missed four games. He had some limited practice sessions last week, so Fields is progressing positively. Our early lean is that Fields will return this week in Detroit. Matthew Stafford (QB) Los Angeles Rams – Another veteran expected to return to the lineup is Matthew Stafford, who has been throwing the ball throughout LA’s Week 10 bye. Also, head coach Sean McVay indicated that he thinks Stafford will be under center this week against Seattle. Pat Freiermuth (TE) Pittsburgh Steelers – The Steelers are expected to have start TE Pat Freiermuth back this week. Muth has been sidelined since hurting his hamstring in Week 4 and his return will be a big boost at a position that has precious little depth. Mike Tomlin ‘Feels Good’ about Pat Freiermuth Injury Status #Steelers #NFL https://t.co/HcNcHCYd2o #steelers — Blitzburgh (@Blitz_Burgh) November 14, 2023 Nico Collins (WR) Houston Texans – A calf injury kept Collins out of practice and ultimately out of Week 10. There have not been any updates yet. But Collins will need to return to practice fully before we can safely say he’ll be himself in Week 11. Subsequently, we’ll have to monitor the practice reports out of Houston. Khalil Herbert (RB) Chicago Bears – The Bears opened Herbert’s window last week but kept him out of Thursday’s game. That will give Herbert an extra 10 days to recover from his ankle injury. But, now the question is usage after D’Onta Foreman has shown well as Chicago’s starter. Treylon Burks (WR) Tennessee Titans – Burks has been dealing with a knee injury. However, he still must clear the NFL’s concussion protocol before he can play. In five games, Burks only has eight receptions for 122 yards. In a low-volume Tennessee passing attack now being led by a second-round rookie, Burks has little fantasy value. Trent Sherfield (WR) Buffalo Bills – Sherfield left Buffalo’s Monday night loss early with an ankle ailment. River Cracraft (WR) Miami Dolphins – The Dolphins activated Cracraft (shoulder) from IR. Leighton Vander Esch (LB) Dallas Cowboys – For IDP enthusiasts, you’re used to Leighton Vander Esch being on the injured list. Unfortunately, his latest neck injury will end his season. An ESPN report indicated this could be the end of the line for the linebacker.   Finally, thanks for reading the Fantasy Football Injury Report.
