Now, let’s break down all the latest fantasy-relevant injury news in this week’s Fantasy Football Injury Report for Week 9. We will continually update this list. Week 9 Byes: Denver, Detroit, Jacksonville, San Francisco Matthew Stafford (QB) Los Angeles Rams – Stafford is listed as day-to-day with an injured right (throwing) thumb. Last year, Stafford had the same injury occur. That resulted in scar tissue, which complicates the current ailment. Also, Stafford was severely limited down the stretch a year ago. The Rams are exploring adding a veteran as insurance. Our early guess is that Stafford will attempt to play through the injury. However, if last year is an indicator, his velocity and accuracy could be hampered. Brett Rypien is LA’s backup. Finally, Stafford’s injury is a UCL sprain. UPDATE: Stafford did not practice Wednesday and is trending in the wrong direction. Brett Rypien would be next man up. If you’re keeping track… – Rams QB Matthew Stafford has a sprained UCL (right thumb); is “day to day” per Sean McVay. – Rams will try to bring in another QB, intended to sign John Wolford per @DMRussini but were just informed Wolford will now stay in TB https://t.co/AVz0mR29Wc — Jourdan Rodrigue (@JourdanRodrigue) October 31, 2023 Kirk Cousins (QB) Minnesota Vikings – A ruptured Achilles ended Cousins’s season. In a corresponding move, the Vikings traded for Josh Dobbs from Arizona. Cousins will be an unrestricted free agent after the season. Also, this bodes well for Kyler Murray‘s availability for the Cardinals. UPDATE: Cousins was placed on season-ending IR. Kenny Pickett (QB) Pittsburgh Steelers – Pickett exited Week 8 with a rib injury. Mitchell Trubisky finished the game for the Steelers. Complicating Pickett’s status is the fact that the Steelers are scheduled to play on Thursday. However, Pickett told the Pittsburgh media on Tuesday that he intends to start. Pickett was limited in Tuesday’s practice. But that is a good sign. UPDATE: Pickett is good to go. Daniel Jones (QB) New York Giants – The Giants cleared Jones to return from his neck injury. Jones will be back under center in Week 9 as the Giants travel to Las Vegas. Tyrod Taylor (ribs) is week-to-week. Justin Fields (QB) Chicago Bears – Matt Eberflus announced that Tyson Bagent will start for Chicago in Week 9. That puts Fields on a trajectory to return at home in Week 10 as the Bears host the Panthers. UPDATE: Fields won’t play Week 9. Ryan Tannehill (QB) Tennessee Titans – Tannehill has not returned to practice. He is still recovering from an ankle injury that occurred in Week 6. However, after Will Levis’s debut, don’t expect to see Tannehill back anytime soon. UPDATE: Tannehill is out, as expected. Puka Nacua (WR) Los Angeles Rams – Nacua was limited on Wednesday with a knee injury. It doesn’t appear to be something too serious. But with a player of Nacua’s caliber, we’ll keep a close eye on it and have updates in Discor Darren Waller (TE) New York Giants – A hamstring injury will keep Waller out for multiple weeks. Subsequently, an IR stint is possible. Deshaun Watson (QB) Cleveland Browns – Watson (shoulder) will start Sunday. Tyler Lockett (WR) Seattle Seahawks – Lockett did not practice on Wednesday. He’s dealing with a hamstring ailment but was able to play through it last week. At this point, it looks like the staff is simply being cautious with their veteran wideout. As long as he participates by Friday, Lockett should be fine in a big game against Baltimore. Drake London (WR) Atlanta Falcons – London left Atlanta’s Week 8 loss early with a groin injury. He did not practice Wednesday, which is concerning. If he is unable to practice by Saturday, London could miss Week 9. We will have more updates in the FullTime Discord Channel. UPDATE: London is OUT. Josh Palmer (WR) Los Angeles Chargers – Palmer aggravated an existing knee injury and missed some snaps. However, he was able to finish the game. Expect Palmer to be limited in practice this week. But, he should play. Kendrick Bourne (WR) New England Patriots – Bourne tore his ACL on Sunday. His 2023 season is over. Subsequently, this should result in more targets for Demario Douglas. Curtis Samuel (WR) Washington Commanders – A toe injury knocked Samuel out of Washington’s loss to Philadelphia after 14 snaps. Samuel will undergo further testing this week. We will have more updates in the FullTime Fantasy Discord Channel. UPDATE: Samuel is OUT. Pick up Jamison Crowder as a replacement. Robert Woods (WR) Houston Texans – Woods will miss at least one more week with a foot injury. Also, tight end Brevin Jordan will miss additional time with plantar fasciitis. And TE Tegan Quitoriano was placed on IR with a groin injury. Damien Williams (RB) Arizona Cardinals – Williams exited Week 8 with a foot injury. However, he’s well off the fantasy radar. Dameon Pierce (RB) Houston Texans – Ruled OUT. Finally, these players are due back in Week 10: Justin Jefferson (WR) Minnesota Vikings Deebo Samuel (WR) San Francisco 49ers David Montgomery (RB) Detroit Lions De’Von Achane (RB) Miami Dolphins James Conner (RB) Arizona Cardinals Finally, thanks for reading the Fantasy Football Injury Report. Fantasy Football News & Rankings Update

Fantasy Football News & Rankings Update It’s kind of alarming that Halloween is nearly here and we’re halfway through the 2023 football season. That went by fast. These mid-season weeks are crucial. Also, Week 8 has no bye weeks to contend with. Our Fantasy Football News & Rankings Update gets you prepared for Sunday and Monday’s action. First, check out our Advanced NFL Snap Counts Report to see which player’s usage is trending in the right direction. Secondly, Adam has some spicy takes in his Week 8 Start ‘Em Sit ‘Em article. Finally, DFS legend Shawn Childs does a thorough breakdown of the entire DFS field in his DFS Quarterbacks, Running Backs, Wide Receivers, and Tight End Reports. We are also at the time of year when weather can be a factor. Forecast for Sunday’s Chiefs-Broncos game in Denver calls for a high of 29 degrees, a low of 13, with 6-14 inches of snow, per the National Weather Service. — Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) October 28, 2023 Week 8 Injury News Brocky Purdy has progressed through the NFL’s concussion protocol and should be under center to face the Bengals. We have Purdy as a borderline QB1 in our Week 8 rankings. Brock Purdy appears to be on pace (as long as there’s no setback) to receive full clearance for Sunday’s game. https://t.co/QgXH0OU56g — Matt Maiocco (Threads @maiocconbcs) (@MaioccoNBCS) October 27, 2023 Aaron Jones does not have an injury designated. However, he may be on a ‘snap count’ to protect his hamstring. That keeps Jones as a riskier RB2 this week. Jerome Ford returned to practice Friday. But fantasy managers should be very wary of starting a player so soon after being diagnosed with a high-ankle sprain. #Browns Jerome Ford – TBD. Data favors sitting. Very rare for even mild high ankle to return following week. If active, expect performance dip + workload dip. Likely return Wk 9#Browns Kareem Hunt – Playing. Thigh contusions typically cause low RB performance impact 12/24 — Deepak Chona, MD. SportsMedAnalytics (@SportMDAnalysis) October 28, 2023 Jimmy Garoppolo practiced in full on Friday. He will be back to starting in Detroit and represents an upgrade for all Raiders’ skill position players. Roschon Johnson is back after missing two games with a concussion. However, Johnson now has to contend for touches with an ascending D’Onta Foreman. But, Johnson is the superior pass catcher, so he has an edge in a game that the Bears are 8.5-point underdogs in Los Angeles. David Montgomery did not practice all week. The Lions have a Week 9 bye. Our lofty projections for Jahmyr Gibbs show there’s next to zero chance he will suit up this week. UPDATE: Montgomery is OUT. Josh Palmer was limited to sideline work at Friday’s practice after sitting out Wednesday and Thursday. Palmer is questionable. However, if he plays will have a tantalizing matchup. We will have more in the FullTime Discord on Sunday. Luke Musgrave (ankle) is a game-time decision. Miles Sanders is back, so we lowered Week 8 projections for Chuba Hubbard. At this point, it’s hard to handicap what will happen in Carolina, coming off of a bye with a new play-caller. That makes both Sanders and Hubbard risk/reward RB2/3 options. Kyler Murray is doubtful. Zack Moss missed a pair of practices this week and is looking very iffy for the Saints game. However, if Moss sits, Jonathan Taylor will move into RB1 territory. Juwan Johnson is back after a four-week absence. Justyn Ross has been placed on this Commissioner’s exempt list after an arrest. Subsequently, Ross can be dropped in all formats. Also, for the Chiefs, Justin Watson (elbow) returns. Daniel Carlson (groin) has not practiced all week. The Raiders signed James McCourt to the to fill in if Carlson is ruled out in Detroit. P.J. Walker will start for the Browns. This is a downgrade for all Cleveland pass catchers. Juju Smith-Schuster has no injury designation. His return cools Kendrick Bourne off slightly. Players Ruled OUT Daniel Jones (QB) New York Giants Justin Fields (QB) Chicago Bears Deshaun Watson (QB) Cleveland Browns Ryan Tannehill (QB) Tennessee Titans Chase Brown (RB) Cincinnati Bengals Zay Jones (WR) Carolina Panthers Robert Woods (WR) Houston Texans Laviska Shenault (WR) Carolina Panthers Kylen Granson (TE) Indiaanpolis Colts Brevin Jordan (TE) Houston Texans Josh Whyle (TE) Tennessee Titans ENTER OUR WEEK 8 DRAFT CONTEST! Fantasy Football Injury Report
Fantasy Football Injury Report There were some frustrating injury occurrences in Week 7 that torpedoed many fantasy lineups. Our Fantasy Football Injury Report catches you up on all of the fantasy-relevant injuries that will impact your lineups in Week 8 and beyond. Also, a great starting point for staying updated on the latest injuries is to bookmark our NFL Injury Report. Finally, FullTime Fantasy Members will get the latest NFL injury news and advice live each Sunday and Thursday in the FullTime Fantasy Discord. Click below to join us today! Now, let’s break down all the latest fantasy-relevant injury news in this week’s Fantasy Football Injury Report for Week 8. We will continually update this list. Week 8 Byes: NONE Deebo Samuel (WR) San Francisco 49ers – A hairline fracture in his shoulder sidelined Samuel for Week 7 and will keep him out for Week 8. The 49ers have a Week 9 bye, so Week 10 seems like a realistic timeline for Samuel to return. Jauan Jennings and Ray-Ray McCloud will play bigger roles while Samuel is out. However, neither is fantasy-relevant. Bijan Robinson (RB) Atlanta Falcons – There are no indication that rookie RB Bijan Robinson is injured. However, his absence in Week 7 had severe consequences. He came up ill before Atlanta’s Week 7 win in Tampa and played a mere 11 snaps. Not only were fantasy managers surprised by Robinson’s lack of role, but the Falcons could face consequences for their handling of the situation. The NFL is now asking injury-report compliance questions to the Atlanta Falcons about when they knew rookie running back Bijan Robinson wasn’t physically well and why it was not reported, as per league policy. It is standard practice for the league to question teams about a… — Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) October 23, 2023 DK Metcalf (WR) Seattle Seahawks – Metcalf missed his first NFL game with a rib injury. Most thought Metcalf would be active. However, Pete Carroll decided to be cautious. Metcalf should be back in Week 8. Note: Metcalf faces the most difficult matchup in the league this week vs WRs in Cleveland who only allow 23.3 fantasy points per game to wide receivers. Kyren Williams (RB) Los Angeles Rams – Last week the Rams sent Williams (knee) to IR. He will miss four games plus LA’s Week 10 bye. That puts Williams in line for a Week 12 return to action. Zach Ertz (TE) Arizona Cardinals – Ertz was sent to the IR with a quad injury. He will miss at least four games. That will open up more opportunities for Trey McBride, who has shown improvement in the last two games. Fantasy managers can drop Ertz. Roschon Johnson (RB) Chicago Bears – Johnson is in the final stages of the NFL’s concussion protocol. He should return this week. However, after D’Onta Foreman’s breakout, it is fair to question how much playing time Johnson will garner after missing two games. Jerome Ford (RB) Cleveland Browns – A high-ankle sprain will cause Ford to miss 1-2 games. Kareem Hunt will see more touches. Also, Pierre Strong will mix int. Justin Fields (QB) Chicago Bears – Matt Eberflus has already said that Fields is doubtful for Week 8. Expect Tyson Bagent to get at least one more start. Chicago has a favorable schedule for the next month, so whoever is under center should be on fantasy radars. Jimmy Garoppolo (QB) Las Vegas Raiders – The Raiders were embarrassed in Chicago. Brian Hoyer’s abysmal play was a catalyst for Vegas’s struggles. By all indications, Jimmy Garooppolo will be back under center in Detroit and has plenty of motivation to return to the lineup. Raiders’ QB Jimmy Garoppolo has a $90,000 per-game-active-roster bonus that he misses out on for each game that he doesn’t play. Garoppolo now has missed out on $180,000 in roster bonuses the past two weeks, but he’s expected to start making it back next Monday night. https://t.co/uvnhS7CWrI — Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) October 22, 2023 Kyler Murray (QB) Arizona Cardinals – Bestball drafters rejoice! The Cardinals opened Murray’s 21-day window to return. Murray should practice this week. If all goes well, he could be back under center in the next 1-2 weeks. Also, Murray is a priority waiver wire target where available. Christian Watson (WR) Green Bay Packers – Watson tweaked his knee and is considered questionable. We’ll have to keep an eye on Watson’s practice participation all week and keep the FullTime Fantasy Discord updated. Treylon Burks (WR) Tennessee Titans – Absent since Week 4 with a knee injury, Burks practiced during Tennesee’s Week 7 bye and is set to return. This will be a much-needed boost for a Titans’ passing attack which ranks 29th in the league. Daniel Jones (QB) New York Giants – Jones missed his second straight game. However, local media indicated that Jones was close to suiting up last week against Washington. Tyrod Taylor has filled in admirably, so the Giants do not have to rush Jones back into the lineup. Deshaun Watson (QB) Cleveland Browns – Watson’s return was brief, exiting Week 7 in the first quarter. The quarterback hit his head on the turf but cleared concussion protocol. However, Kevin Stefanski chose to keep P.J. Walker in the lineup. Subsequently, Watson is a volatile fantasy option. Ryan Tannehill (QB) Tennessee Titans – Tannehill is dealing with a high-ankle sprain and is considered questionable to play against the Falcons. He did not practice Tuesday. Coming off a bye, that’s a good indication that Tannehlll will miss at least one more start. Malik Willis will fill in if Tannehill is unable to go. Greg Dulcich (TE) Denver Broncos – After playing 11 snaps in Week 6, Dulcich hurt his hamstring. Subsequently, the Broncos placed Dulchich on IR for the second time this season. The earliest he can return is Week 10. #Broncos announce that they’ve activated Baron Browning from the PUP and placed Greg Dulcich on IR — Ryan Edwards (@redwardsradio) October 21,

Fantasy Football Waiver Wire: Week 7

Fantasy Football Waiver Wire: Week 7 By this point into the 2023 season, no roster remains unscathed. Several more key injuries hit hard in Week 6. Also, Week 7 is a brutal bye week slate, with six teams off. That’s going to leave a lot of fantasy football managers scrambling for talent. Our Fantasy Football Waiver Wire: Week 7 has you covered, with key players to target on the wire and FAAB recommendations. FAAB denotes Free Agent Acquisition Budget Week 7 Byes: Carolina, Cincinnati, Dallas, Houston, New York Jets, Tennessee Jeffery Wilson (RB) Miami Dolphins (15% FAAB) – Wilson was a proactive add last week. He did not end up playing on Sunday. However, he is inching closer to being activated. When he is cleared, Wilson will play significant reps in the NFL’s most dynamic offense. Salvon Ahmed (5% FAAB) was able to score 12.4 PPR points in 11 opportunities. However, Wilson is far better and would likely command double-digit touches each week. Chuba Hubbard (RB) Carolina Panthers (13% FAAB) – Miles Sanders has not impressed in 2023. Hubbard drew his first start in Week 6 and turned 20 touches into 90 yards and a touchdown. Hubbard has now played more snaps than Sanders this season. Also, he’s been far more effective. It wouldn’t be a surprise to see Hubbard remain the starter when Carolina returns to action in Week 8. Craig Reynolds (RB) Detroit Lions (12% FAAB) – First, Detroit lost Jahmyr Gibbs. Now, David Montgomery could miss multiple games with a rib injury. Reynolds filled in for Montgomery in Tampa, earning 12 touches in the win. There is a good chance Gibbs will return this week. However, Dan Campbell has shown no interest in making Gibbs a workhorse. Expect Reynolds to fill that ‘big back’ role, commanding short-yardage and change-of-pace carries and targets. Also, if Gibbs remains out, Reynolds could be in line for a much bigger workload in Baltimore. Josh Downs (WR) Indianapolis Colts (10% FAAB) – Downs only accumulated 21 receiving yards in Week 6. However, he did secure his first NFL touchdown and commanded eight targets. Downs has now surpassed 13 PPR points in three of his last four contests. Gardner Minshew is far more likely to stand in the pocket and force the ball to his wideouts. That will benefit Downs, who already enters Week 7 as a top-45 fantasy wideout in 2023. Roschon Johnson (RB) Chicago Bears (10% FAAB) – Unfortunately, Johnson didn’t clear the NFL concussion protocol in time to suit up on Sunday. However, there has been some optimism that he will return in Week 7. Justin Fields is doubtful, so Chicago will have to rely on their ground attack. D’Onta Foreman logged 16 touches and a 61% snap rate in Week 6. Johnson was ahead of Foreman on the depth chart and should be the favorite to start once cleared. Jordan Mason (RB) San Francisco 49ers (8% FAAB) – Christian McCaffrey exited Week 6 with an oblique injury. Elijah Mitchell (6% FAAB) was penciled in as San Fran’s RB2 but Mitchell was limited to just seven snaps as he works his way back from a knee injury. If McCaffrey misses time, the starting running back for the 49ers has significant fantasy value. For now, the nod goes to Mason. However, this is a fluid situation. Mitchell should also be viewed as a priority add. Zach Evans (RB) Los Angeles Rams (9% FAAB) – A popular preseason sleeper, Evans has only seen four carries in two games. However, the Rams are battling injuries. Evans could be the next man up for an offense that has overachieved. Also, with the way running backs are going down, Evans and veteran journeyman Royce Freeman (4% FAAB) make sense as proactive adds. UPDATE: Williams has a sprained ankle and is expected to miss Week 7. An MRI today revealed that Rams’ RB Kyren Williams has a sprained ankle that is expected to sideline him for Sunday’s game vs. the Steelers but is not considered a long-term injury, per source. — Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) October 16, 2023 Kareem Hunt (RB) Cleveland Browns (7% FAAB) – Hunt played a season-high 28 snaps and commanded a healthy 15 touches against San Francisco. He also scored a touchdown in the game. QB Deshaun Watson has no return timetable, so the Browns are likely to continue to emphasize the running game. Hunt is an RB4 that can be added in all formats. Curtis Samuel (WR) Washington Commanders (7% FAAB) – Obligatory mention of Samuel. He’s a weekly addition to this piece yet still remains un-rostered in more than half of fantasy leagues. Samuel has scored in three straight games and gets another premier matchup in Week 7 against the 1-5 Giants. Wan’Dale Robinson (WR) New York Giants (6% FAAB) – New York’s offense is a mess. However, Robison has led the Giants wideouts in target share in each of the last three games. Parris Campbell logged zero snaps against the Bills. That leaves the vast majority of slot reps to Robinson. While you don’t want to go out of your way to spend a ton of money on members of this offense, Robinson will see favorable game scripts and could rack up usable fantasy production as a bye-week replacement. Jonnu Smith (TE) Atlanta Falcons (5% FAAB) – It was okay to be skeptical of Smith’s holding power in September. But the veteran tight end has grabbed 4-plus balls in each of Atlanta’s five games. Smith has scored a minimum of 8.7 PPR points in every game and enters Week 7 as the overall TE8. Kyle Pitts is TE12. We’ve be fawning over the wrong guy. Rashid Shaheed (WR) New Orleans Saints (5% FAAB) – One spot below Josh Downs on the seasonal scoring ranks, Rashid Shaheed had his second-best game of the season in Houston. He only corralled two of his six targets, but Shaheed went for 85 yards and his second TD of the season. Shaheed has run 75 (43%) out of the slot,

Fantasy Football Injury Report Another week, another round of impactful injuries. Approaching the mid-point of 2023 and it’s unlikely any roster hasn’t been affected. All we can do is reinforce through the waiver wire and stay proactive. Our Fantasy Football Injury Report for Week 7 will keep you updated on the news and offer advice on how to persevere. Finally, FullTime Fantasy Members will get the latest NFL injury news and advice live each Sunday and Thursday in the FullTime Fantasy Discord. Click below to join us today! Now, let’s break down all the latest fantasy-relevant injury news in this week’s Fantasy Football Injury Report for Week 7. We will continually update this list. Week 7 Byes: Carolina, Cincinnati, Dallas, Houston, New York Jets, Tennessee Christian McCaffrey (RB) San Francisco 49ers – In a season filled with big names getting hurt, perhaps no injury would hit as hard as losing the overall RB1, Christian McCaffrey. He exited Week 6 with an oblique injury and had an MRI on Monday. Fortunatley, Kyle Shanahan opined that CMC is “day-to-day,” so a major injury was avoided. However, that doesn’t mean fantasy managers shouldn’t be proactive. Elijah Mitchell and Jordan Mason should be scooped up off waivers. Anthony Richardson (QB) Indianapolis Colts – Unfortunately, Richardson’s rookie season will end prematurely. Colts owner Jim Irsay said that Richardson is expected to have season-ending surgery on his sprained AC joint. Subsequently, Gardner Minshew will assume the starting job. Minshew offers weekly QB2 upside. However, Richardson is relegated to dynasty hold. Kyren Williams (RB) Los Angeles Rams – Although Williams will miss one game, fantasy managers can breathe a sigh of relief. Williams avoided a major injury. He has a minor sprained ankle. Backup Ronnie Rivers wasn’t as fortunate. Subsequently, Rivers is a candidate for IR. As a result, Zach Evans becomes one of the most coveted Week 7 waiver wire targets. An MRI today revealed that Rams’ RB Kyren Williams has a sprained ankle that is expected to sideline him for Sunday’s game vs. the Steelers but is not considered a long-term injury, per source. — Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) October 16, 2023 Justin Fields (QB) Chicago Bears – Fields dislocated his thumb. He’s doubtful for Week 7. In fact, Fields could miss multiple weeks, as he is unable to grip the ball. Therefore, there is no concrete return timetable. We don’t recommend targeting whoever steps in as Chicago’s backup signal caller. David Montgomery (RB) Detroit Lions – A rib injury will force Montgomery to miss 1-2 games. Also, Jahmyr Gibbs missed last week with a hamstring injury. If Gibbs is healthy, he would be on the RB2 radar. However, Gibbs didn’t excel when Montgomery missed Week 3. Conversely, Craig Reynolds looks like a good bet for a prominent role this week in Baltimore. Trevor Lawrence (QB) Jacksonville Jaguars – Lawrence injured his knee last week but was able to finish the game. He has practiced with a brace all week. The Jags play on Thursday, but Lawrence is expected to be under center. However, we may see fewer runs for Lawrence, capping his fantasy upside in a tough matchup. Deebo Samuel (WR) San Francisco 49ers – Samuel is day-to-day. The injury is not long-term. #49ers injury updates from Kyle Shanahan: Christian McCaffrey: Is undergoing imaging now to determine what’s up with ribs/oblique. Deebo Samuel: He’s day to day with a shoulder injury. Trent Williams: It’s NOT a high ankle. He’s day to day, too. — Matt Maiocco (Threads @maiocconbcs) (@MaioccoNBCS) October 16, 2023 Deshaun Watson (QB) Cleveland Browns – Watson (shoulder) is week-to-week. Last week, the Browns medical staff cleared Watson. However, reports indicate that Watson is having trouble getting power behind any throws. Cleveland was off in Week 5, so Watson’s inability to start last Sunday is worrisome. We will have more in the FullTime Fantasy Discord as the week progresses. Zay Jones (WR) Jacksonville Jaguars – Jones missed Week 6 with a knee injury and did not practice Tuesday. There’s almost no chance he plays Thursday. Jimmy Garoppolo (QB) Las Vegas Raiders – A back injury knocked Garoppolo out of the Raiders’ Week 6 victory. However, the severity is unknown. The team is still awaiting further test results. We’ll have more in Discord later this week. Damien Harris (RB) Buffalo Bills – A scary situation in Buffalo seems to have a promising conclusion. Harris was taken off the field in an ambulance. However, he did give a thumbs-up before heading to a local hospital. Currently, Harris is in the league’s concussion protocol. While Harris is absent, expect more work for Latavius Murray. Daniel Jones (QB) New York Giants – Jones is still dealing with symptoms from his neck injury. In addition, Jones previously had a cervical injury that cost him six games in 2021. Also, the 1-5 Giants have little hope of contending, plus they have a quality backup in Tyrod Taylor. In conclusion, don’t expect Jones back in Week 7, and expect more of Taylor under center. Ryan Tannehill (QB) Tennessee Titans – A high-ankle sprain knocked Tannehill out of Tennessee’s Week 6 loss. However, the Titans are off this week. That gives Tannehill a full two weeks to recover. If the veteran can’t play in Week 8, Malik Willis will start. Subsequently, that would be a downgrade for the supporting cast. Jamaal Williams (RB) New Orleans Saints – Williams (hamstring) is nearing a return. However, with Alvin Kamara soaking up touches, it is fair to wonder if Williams will have much, if any role when he does. Diontae Johnson (WR) Pittsburgh Steelers – Finally, we try to end on a positive. It sounds like the Steelers will welcome back Anthony McFarland and Diontae Johnson this week. Also, TE Pat Freiermuth should return. The #Steelers have designated WR Diontae Johnson and RB Anthony McFarland Jr. to return from injured reserve. Both will practice this week and I
