Fantasy Football Sleepers: Week 1

Matt Ryan Colts

Welcome to another glorious NFL season. The first week of the season is always the most unpredictable. That’s why our Fantasy Football Sleepers: Week 1 can help you identify underrated players that might make sneaky starts in the first week of the 2022 season. Of course, this isn’t the time to get cute and bench your starters for favorable matchups. It’s more of a list of players drafted as reserves that are in favorable spots in Week 1. They might be solid flex plays or good options for injured starters. Here are our Fantasy Football Sleepers: Week 1 to help you get a win in the opening weekend of NFL action. Quarterbacks   Matt Ryan (Indianapolis Colts) – Ryan takes on the Texans this week in a game the Colts should be able to score at will. He struggled last year, but now has significantly better weapons and a much better offensive line. With Michael Pittman, Jonathan Taylor, and Nyheim Hines at his disposal in a favorable matchup he should be a solid start in redraft, SuperFlex, and DFS leagues.  Carson Wentz (Washington Commanders) – I’m generally not one to prop up Wentz, but he goes up against the Jags this week. Also, Washington should have excellent weapons for him to throw to this season. Terry McLaurin we know is outstanding, however, first-round pick Jahan Dotson has been getting rave reviews and could be getting overlooked. Also, with J.D. McKissic in to make plays closer to the line of scrimmage, he isn’t a terrible option Week 1.    Running Backs   Michael Carter (New York Jets) – This isn’t an ideal matchup for Carter, nonetheless, Baltimore’s run defense is a bit overhyped this year because everyone threw on their secondary which was absolutely ravaged by injury. They are now healthy and a strong unit so the way for the Jets to move the ball against them will feature the backs. Everything the Jets’ have done this year points to Carter being the RB1 in New York to open the season. Even if it’s only a slight edge and we know he is an excellent pass catcher. He could be a nice option if you’re in need of a flex option.  J.D. McKissic (Washington Commanders) – We already know McKissic is one of the highest upside pass-catching backs in the league, nevertheless, he could be a lot more than that early on. The assumption is Antonio Gibson slides in while Brian Robinson is out and gets the full workload, but what if he doesn’t? We know the coaching staff wants to move on and fears Gibson’s fumbling. Gibson was returning kicks just two weeks ago. There is a real chance that on top of pass-catching work McKissic sees closer to 50/50 split out the backfield. I also expect McKissic to be more trusted in the red zone.  Boston Scott (Philadelphia Eagles) – Every time Miles Sanders is banged up we expect someone who isn’t Scott to get this massive workload and every time he’s out there leading this backfield in fantasy points. Sanders looks likely to play but is less than 100 percent. We also still don’t know how Kenneth Gainwell will be deployed. The Eagles use Scott between the 20s, in the red zone, and throw him the ball when he’s out there. At the very least he’s worth a long look if you’re searching the waiver wire this week.  Damien Williams (Atlanta Falcons) – Williams is being completely ignored by the fantasy community and there is a good, maybe even a likely, chance that he leads this backfield in carries. Especially early in the season. There is no reason to believe he can’t be the RB1 on this team Week 1 and reports out of Atlanta point to this being the likely case. At the very least he is worth a waiver wire add to see what he does and he could be a strong DFS option if you need an inexpensive option.    Wide Receivers   DeVante Parker (New England Patriots) – I’m basing this play on the assumption that Jakobi Meyers will be treated as the WR1 in New England by Miami. With that said, Miami will deploy one of if not the best cornerback in the league Xavien Howard against Meyers. And with Byron Jones on IR, they have no one decent to cover Parker on the outside. Howard will take Meyers out of the game and the Pats will likely be losing and forced to throw downfield late. Parker should see plenty of jump balls and be the primary red-zone target on the outside.  Wan’Dale Robinson (New York Giants) – There is a legitimate chance Robinson leads the Giants in targets this year. I even bet on it. He’s more of a PPR start here, but you can start a talented WR1 on the Giants in your flex if you want. I don’t love this passing attack in general, nonetheless, there are far worse options than this.  Julio Jones (Tampa Bay Buccaneers) – There is a good chance Julio is washed and makes me look silly. However, even if he’s 75 percent of what he once was he could be in for a big week. If ever he was going to have fantasy value it’s Week 1. This is as healthy as we’ll ever see him, maybe ever again. Also, Chris Godwin is recovering from his torn ACL shockingly well but is as unhealthy this week as we will see him all season if he plays at all. With Godwin shaky at best and Rob Gronkowski retiring, there is a huge window of opportunity opened for Jones. Not to mention having the greatest quarterback of all time throwing him the ball in a game with an over/under of 50. Nick Westbrook-Ikhine (Tennessee Titans) – Westbrook-Ikhine is clearly the deepest sleeper on this list, but it’s in the realm of possibilities he is utilized as the Titans’ WR1 early in the season. He’s the clear starter opposite

Fantasy Football Waiver Wire: Week 1

Wan'Dale Robinson

We are now just days away from the 2022 NFL season beginning, but plenty of fantasy leagues were drafted weeks or even months ago. For those, the fantasy football waiver wire: week 1 can be helpful for updating their rosters ahead of kick-off. All season, I’ll be presenting the top free agents to target each week with a FAAB budget recommendation. Of course, with no games played, it is difficult to have reliable FAAB bids this early. That means to proceed with extreme caution until we see how roles are more defined. Here are some unheralded or low-rostered players to consider adding to your roster ahead of Week 1. FAAB denotes Free Agent Acquisition Budget   Mike Davis (RB) Baltimore Ravens (5% FAAB) – Baltimore’s backfield remains banged up. As of now, we don’t know what kind of role J.K. Dobbins can play in Week 1. That makes Davis a dark horse to lead the team in carries. Not only in Week 1, but until Dobbins proves he is healthy. The Ravens also open this season against a New York Jets defense that allowed the most fantasy points to opposing running backs last season. View Davis as a potential RB3 until we see otherwise. Kenyan Drake is another interesting name to watch in the season opener. Alec Pierce (WR) Indianapolis Colts (5% FAAB) – The latest reports out of Indianapolis indicate that second-round rookie WR Alec Pierce will be the team’s No. 2 target. Pierce (6-2, 221) has the size to be a red-zone beast and opens the season with an exploitable matchup against Houston’s vulnerable secondary. This is a good week to get all your Colts into your fantasy lineups. And Pierce is readily available on most waiver wires. Wan’Dale Robinson (WR) New York Giants (4% FAAB) – Only the Vikings allowed more fantasy points to wide receivers last season than the Titans. Right now, Robinson might be the only healthy receiver the Giants have. Kadarious Toney missed a ton of time this summer and Kenny Golladay looks awful after a disastrous first season in New York. Robinson had a phenomenal camp and is locked into the team’s slot role. He could easily lead the team in targets in Week 1 and should be added in all formats. Jakobi Meyers (WR) New England Patriots (4% FAAB) – It’s pretty rare to see a team’s No. 1 wideout be available on most waiver wires. New England’s offense looked messy this summer but Meyers remains the favorite to lead the club in receptions. Meyers had 17 targets against the Dolphins last season. Plus, the Patriots have gone over in nine of their last 10 Sunday games per Rotoworld. I like Meyers as a low-end WR3 this week. If New England’s offense turns around, Meyers could have another top-30 season. Isaiah Likely (TE) Baltimore Ravens (4% FAAB) – There isn’t a ton of depth at tight end, which means a lot of fantasy football managers are taking a streaming approach. Likely was one of the most impressive preseason players. He caught all 12 of his targets for 144 yards and a touchdown. Now, The Athletic thinks Likely could be third in Baltimore’s target pecking order after Rashod Bateman and Mark Andrews. Running a lot of ’12’ sets would make a lot of sense for the run-first Ravens. Baltimore has little WR depth after Bateman. Likely could develop into a solid weekly option, which makes him worth a decent bid ahead of Week 1. Rex Burkhead (RB) Houston Texans (3% FAAB) – It appears Burkhead will be Houston’s main change-of-pace and receiving back. The veteran is also a decent short-yardage option who can spell Dameon Pierce on early downs. Burkhead averaged 7.5 fantasy points per game last season and should top that with an increased role in the passing game. He offers weekly flex/RB3 value in deeper PPR leagues. Damien Williams (RB) Atlanta Falcons (3% FAAB) – Earlier this offseason, Billy Muzio and I talked up Williams on the FullTime Fantasy Podcast. The hype cooled off considerably but a recent report suggests Williams will factor in often. That remains to be seen, but Williams can easily be added with a speculative, cheap bid. Matt Ryan (QB) Indianapolis Colts (2% FAAB) – I’ve been way higher on Matt Ryan in my 2022 fantasy football rankings than the consensus. As luck would have it, Ryan gets to face a rebuilding Houston Texans squad in Week 1. The Texans allowed the tenth-most fantasy points to quarterbacks last season. Indy’s implied total of 27 in this game is the fourth highest for the slate. If you have concerns about your Week 1 starter, Ryan is a fine streaming option. Marvin Jones (WR) Jacksonville Jaguars (2% FAAB) – Jones was the WR33 last season and is being completely overlooked. Granted, the Jags spent big money on Christian Kirk, but Jacksonville’s offense should be substantially better in 2022. Jones was one of my favorite late-round options and should surpass 100 targets once again. Baker Mayfield (QB) Carolina Panthers (2% FAAB) – If you’re a fan of the ‘revenge game’ narrative, here’s your play. Mayfield has that fiery disposition that is just the type to ball out against his former employers after he was unceremoniously dumped this offseason. I wouldn’t sit your normal starter, but if you drafted early and Mayfield is still on waivers in a Superflex format, he’s certainly worth a healthy bid. Ameer Abdullah (RB) Las Vegas Raiders (2% FAAB) – Everyone assumes the Raiders are going to emphasize multiple running backs but nobody wants Josh Jacobs. That’s actually very telling. Abdullah is the favorite to play on third downs and could mix in on short yardage. Both he and Zamir White (2% FAAB) should be players to monitor in Week 1. DeeJay Dallas (RB) Seattle Seahawks (1% FAAB) – Seattle is projected to have a lousy offense but they’ll have plenty of positive game scripts for the passing game. Dallas led the NFL in rushing this preseason and appears to be the club’s third-down back. While Ken Walker is sidelined, Dallas could see a handful

Quarterbacks

Joe Burrow (Cincinnati Bengals) – Burrow is a great real-life quarterback, but is being overdrafted in fantasy leagues. He is going to run into three issues; the offensive scheme, an improved defense, and the division he plays in. The Bengals run a slow offense and with an improved defense will look to run even more this year, and being in the AFC North he will run into bad weather and grind it out games…

Ask any fantasy football enthusiast what their favorite part of drat day is and you’ll inevitably hear “sleepers”. This year is no different and with the clock ticking, it’s time to identify the 2022 fantasy football sleepers to target.

Of course, the word sleeper itself is open to varying interpretations. As we defined in our 2022 Fulltime Fantasy staff predictions, a sleeper is a player who is being overlooked and will outperform his average draft position (ADP) in 2022.

Naturally, going ZERO-RB or starting RB heavy can greatly impact relative value. But regardless of your strategy, here are some of the 2022 fantasy football sleepers I’ll be targeting in drafts. Also, my Preseason Pro has other useful players that I’m taking a stand on.

Quarterbacks

Matt Ryan (Indianapolis Colts) – It’s not uncommon to see Matt Ryan fall outside of the top 20 quarterbacks drafted in 2022, but I think there’s a strong chance he not only rebounds but contends for QB1 numbers. Ryan’s streak of 10 consecutive seasons with 4000-plus yards ending last season- barely. But considering the sorry state of Atlanta’s skill-position players and 31st-ranked offensive line, his QB17 finish a year ago was admirable.

There are no real signs that Ryan’s overall play is descending and now he gets to play behind one of the league’s better front fives. Ryan also will have an elite running back, my favorite breakout wide receiver, and a head coach with a well-deserved reputation as a QB whisperer. Not only will Ryan exceed 4000 passing yards again, I believe he’ll be close to 30 touchdowns and contend for top-10 fantasy numbers…

Fantasy Football Roster and Rankings Update

Dameon Pierce

The first NFL game of the 2022 season is just days away and that means fantasy football draft season is here! FullTime’s Fantasy Football Roster and Rankings Update catches you up on all the recent player movements and their impacts

The first NFL game of the 2022 season is just days away and that means fantasy football draft season is here! FullTime’s Fantasy Football Roster and Rankings Update catches you up on all the recent player movements and their impacts on 2022 fantasy football rankings.

There was a whirlwind of activity as NFL teams trimmed their rosters down to 53. Some of those trades and releases will impact our 2022 fantasy projections. After spending 10 hours tracking those cuts and adjusting our outlooks, I wanted to recap some of the fantasy-relevant outcomes.

Yesterday I kept the FullTiime Discord updated on the roster cuts. Here is a more detailed look at the fantasy impact of cut-down day.

Player Movement

Hundreds of players were released or sent to IR yesterday. Inevitably, many of those cuts impacted fantasy football teams that have already completed their drafts. Here are some of the fantasy-relevant players that were impacted this season.

Marlon Mack (RB) – The Houston Texans will surge forward with fourth-round rookie Dameon Pierce as their starter. Mack averaged a solid 4.3 yards per carry in the preseason but simply wasn’t as explosive as Pierce. Mack could wind up re-signing with the Texans and will resurface again in 2022 somewhere…

NFL Training Camp Update August 29

Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Tom Brady

The NFL preseason has concluded and roster cut day is now on the horizon. Our NFL Training Camp Update August 29 catches you up on all the fantasy-relevant news you may have missed this weekend while drafting your fantasy squad. At this point, we’re updating our 2022 fantasy football rankings constantly. Also, our 2022 team outlooks and Billy Muzio’s updated fades are great draft-prep tools. A lot of news will be flying in this week as NFL rosters are trimmed to 53. Before that, here is the final NFL training camp update August 29.   Brian Robinson Shot Multiple Times  Just as rookie RB Brian Robinson appeared to seize a significant role in Washington’s backfield, the rookie rusher was shot multiple times in an attempted car-jacking. Robinson was shot in the leg and rear end and emerged from surgery in “good spirits.” The wounds aren’t expected to cause significant long-term damage and Robinson is tentatively expected back at some point this season. That is great news and we’ll certainly be rooting for Robinson in 2022.   Logan Thomas Expected Back Week 2  ESPN’s John Keim reports that Washington expects Thomas to suit up in Week 2. Coming off a torn ACL he was activated off the PUP list last week. If healthy, he is a sneaky good sleeper tight end. That has been a productive position for the Commanders, and he’s been the most impressive in that role.    Elijah Mitchell Good to Go Mitchell who had questions surrounding his health circling him for weeks returned to practice on Sunday. He is now a safe bet to be ready to start the season. He can now confidently be drafted as an RB2.    Check out where we have Elijah Mitchell ranked in our 2022 Fantasy Football Rankings.   J.K. Dobbins Could Be Limited in September According to the Athletic’s Jeff Zrebiec, “it would be optimistic” to expect J.K. Dobbins to have a full workload early in the season. Dobbins has not shown he is fully healthy and there is even a chance he lands on IR to start the season. He’s a high-upside flex option at the moment but carries plenty of risks.    Robert Tonyan Returns to Practice A fantasy darling last year after a breakout 2020 campaign, Tonyan got off to a slow start before tearing his ACL last season. The big tight end returned to practice this week and could be ready for the start of the season. With the lack of proven targets in Green Bay, he could see an increased role once fully healthy. He is worth monitoring.    Diontae Johnson Injures Shoulder Steelers’ stud wideout was forced from the team’s final preseason game and immediately ruled out after coming down awkwardly on his shoulder. The extent of the injury is not yet known but could have a major impact on fantasy drafts. If the injury is serious, Chase Claypool and George Pickens will see their stock skyrocket.   Ty Montgomery Injured Montgomery has been a popular PPR sleeper this year as he was expected to take over pass-catching duties in the Patriots’ backfield. However, he was carted off this week in the Pats’ final preseason game with an ankle injury. The extent of that ailment is still unknown. Unsurprisingly the team isn’t giving us much to go on, but this could be significant news for Rhamondre Stevenson and to a lesser extent Damien Harris if Montgomery misses significant time.    Skyy Moore Doesn’t Do Much Moore wasn’t targeted in the Chiefs’ final preseason game and is currently at best fourth on the depth chart. He also appears to be the team’s primary punt returner. The rookie totaled 3 receptions all of the preseason. Do not bank on early-season production from Moore for your fantasy team. He’s a bench stash at best until something changes.    Cowboys’ Tyron Smith Tears Hamstring We usually don’t report on offensive linemen here, but this is a massive loss for the Cowboys. The team has been noticeably worse when Smith misses time and Dak Prescott has significantly struggled. Smith underwent surgery last week to attach his left hamstring to his knee and is expected to be out until at least December. This is a brutal blow for the Cowboys’ offense.    Michael Gallup Avoids PUP List Coming off a torn ACL, Gallup will not be placed on the PUP list to start the year. He also will not be ready for Week 1. This appears to give him a timetable of returning between weeks two and four. He could see an increased role once healthy with Amari Cooper now in Cleveland.    Michael Carter Still Starter According to ESPN’s Rich Cimini, Carter is still the Jets starter over star rookie Breece Hall. While this may not last, everything the team has done this preseason points to this being true. A limited role and gauntlet of a schedule could make the first half of the season an uphill battle for Hall to be startable in fantasy leagues.  Tom Brady Returns Brady returned to Tampa last week and even played in the team’s final preseason game. There were a ton of rumors swirling regarding his absence, but it was all just noise. Brady is back and is a sure-fire QB1.   Sony Michel Waived The Dolphins released veteran RB Sony Michel ahead of Tuesday’s cut-down day. The move assures that Chase Edmonds should be heavily-featured with Raheem Mostert as the direct backup. Michel won’t have trouble latching on somewhere, perhaps reunited with the Rams. NFL Training Camp Update August 27

Dameon Pierce

We are now just days away from NFL action. Building a championship roster starts with our NFL training camp update August 27, which keeps you up-to-date on all the fantasy-relevant news and notes. At this point, we’re updating our 2022 fantasy football rankings constantly. Also, our 2022 team outlooks and Billy Muzio’s updated fades are great draft-prep tools. NFL squads are completing their preseason games and roster cut day is approaching. Here are the important NFL training camp updates for August 27.   Geno Smith Named Seattle’s Starting QB We’ve been ahead of this one all offseason and Pete Carroll made it official last night. Smith is not a difference maker but Drew Lock sealed his fate with three interceptions in the Seahawks’ preseason finale. In the latest FullTime Fantasy Podcast, I mentioned Smith winning the battle would be an upgrade for both DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett. Draft accordingly. Dameon Pierce To The Moon Pierce once again looked explosive, churning out yards after contact and even punching in a goal-line score in Houston’s shutout victory over San Francisco. The days of Pierce going in the 8th or 9th round are long gone and he’s now creeping into the 5th. Expect Pierce to be drafted as a low-end RB2 by the time Week 1 rolls around. With that, he’s still a nice target if he falls outside the top 60. Chris Godwin Looking Good Even though Godwin tore his ACL in December, he’s been well ahead of recovery pace all summer. This week, Godwin participated in seven-on-seven drills, indicating the team is growing more confident in Godwin’s recovery timeline. It’s still too early to say if Godwin will be on the field in Week 1 but he is starting to look like a massive value at his cautiously-low ADP. Godwin was the WR7 in fantasy points-per-game in 2021. Ty Montgomery Carted Off Field The battle to replace James White got more complicated Friday when Ty Montgomery had to be carted off the field after an ankle injury. Montgomery had started to take a good amount of backfield targets and mixed in some rushes. If an upcoming MRI reveals a severe injury, Pierre Strong could mix in on some passing downs. It’s also a potential boost for Rhamondre Stevenson. Stevenson is now a solid mid-round target with considerable upside. Treylon Burks Struggles It hasn’t been a good summer for No. 18 overall pick Treylon Burks. Burks has been plagued by conditioning issues and reportedly is well behind Nick Westbrook-Ikhine as the club’s second perimeter starter. Now Burks is dealing with a left leg injury that kept him sidelined. We still like the long-term dynasty potential, but at this point, Burks is barely a WR4/5 in redraft leagues. Jahan Dotson Continues to Shine  After the 2022 NFL Draft, the Commanders supposedly considered Jahan Dotson as the most NFL-ready wideout. That actually looks reasonable now as Dotson has been Carson Wentz‘s favorite target all summer. Dotson has locked up a starting spot and could have a clear path to a ton of targets. He’s an excellent mid-to-late round value as his current ADP. Ronald Jones Could Be Released  According to ESPN, Ronald Jones could be left off Kansas City’s 53-man roster. Despite looking solid with an 8/43 line against Green Bay’s second-team defense, Jones appears to be fourth on the Chiefs’ depth chart. While Jerick McKinnon and Isiah Pacheco excel at pass-catching, Jones is a one-dimensional option who will have a hard time earning snaps even if he makes the team. Joe Flacco Poised to Start Week 1 There was cautious optimism in New York when the ugly injury that felled Zach Wilson turned out to reportedly be a bone bruise and torn meniscus. Wilson had surgery and still has no timetable to return, which puts Joe Flacco in a position to make at least one start. Flacco is a savvy veteran and probably a better downfield passer than Wilson, so it’s not out of the realm of possibilities that Flacco could steal the starting job. Flacco should be on the radar in Superflex formats but can be safely ignored in the vast majority of fantasy leagues. Kenny Pickett Gaining Ground  Steelers’ first-round QB Kenny Pickett has closed the gap with presumptive starter Mitchell Trubisky. The battle is now so close that Pickett might have a legitimate shot at winning the job outright with a strong showing in Pittsburgh’s final preseason tilt. We still anticipate the club starting Trubisy in Week 1 but the leash will be short. It’s a situation to avoid in redraft but Pickett has some dynasty appeal. Jaguars Sign PK Mike Badgley Kickers matter too, sorta. Badgley spent his first three seasons as the Chargers kicker before bouncing around the league. He was solid subbing in for the Colts in 2021. Badgley comes in as a top-25 option in our rankings but is well off the fantasy radar. Compiling a championship fantasy football roster isn’t just about knowing what sleepers to target. Avoiding potential traps is also vital and Billy Muzio’s Fantasy Football Fades 2.0 gives FullTime Fantasy Members exclusive insight from 2021’s No. 1 draft ranker. Billy Muzio

Earlier this summer Billy wrote up his initial fade list for 2022. As the preseason has progressed, there are even more players that he plans to avoid at their current ADP.

Focusing on the all-important pass catchers, here is Billy Muzio’s Fantasy Football Fades 2.0.

Wide Receivers

Tee Higgins (Cincinnati Bengals) – Like Joe Burrow, I am out on Tee Higgins at his current cost. Higgins is selected as WR #13 and pick #26 in FFWC drafts. You are buying Higgins based on his playoff performance and will be disappointed with his 2022 output. You can insert my argument for Burrow here as everything applies, but let’s dive into Tee Higgins’s independent stats and efficiencies. Higgins finished as the WR#22 or worse in fantasy points per game in 10 of his 14 starts during the regular season. In those 14  games, he had 4 or fewer receptions in 5 games and 62 yards or less in 8 of 14.  He was WR#71 in contested catch rate at 25%, WR#77 in true catch rate at 78.7%, WR#31 in target separation, WR#40 in total route wins (#52 vs. man), and WR #36 in routes ran. Don’t get me wrong, Higgins is a good receiver, but not WR#13. Pass on Higgins in the 2nd and early 3rd rounds in your drafts…

Focusing on running backs early is the opposite of Zero-RB. RB truthers love attacking running back early and often and look to load up on quality pass-catchers later. The approach is old school but makes a lot of sense with the available wide receiver depth in the middle rounds.

For you early running back fans, here are some mid-to-late round WRs targets to draft after loading up on runners early. And don’t forget to check out our 2022 Zero-RB targets.

FFWC high-stakes ADP data found here.

Rashod Bateman (Baltimore Ravens) ADP 47.1, (WR27)

We’ve seen Hollywood Brown finish as a WR2 in the Ravens system and have significant stretches looking like an impressive WR1 and now his absence vacated 146 targets from last year and that’s with him missing a game. The Ravens didn’t add any significant pieces at wideout because they believe in Bateman. While he’s not quite as fast as Hollywood, I view Bateman as a better prospect and should develop into a better more well-rounded wideout. There is no reason he shouldn’t see 150 targets in 2022.

Elijah Moore (New York Jets) ADP  51.2, (WR30)

The only reason Moore isn’t being drafted as a WR1 is that he’s on the Jets and the QB situation is a nightmare. That’s a fair argument and I fully understand not having faith in Zach Wilson. However, the talent wins out here for me. Moore broke out down the stretch last year before getting injured. Over his final six games, he posted 34 receptions on 51 targets for 459 yards and five touchdowns. The QBs may not be improved, but the wideout should be just as good if not better…
