I dont mind one four game slate but unfortunately we have two four game slates today and all the pitching is on the early slate — or so it appears.
PITCHING
So for a four game slate we have some elite arms going today.
MY GUYS
Max …. No words, just the GIF. I’ll take a stab with his upside being better than anyone elses. oh wait. I used words.
Madison Bumgarner … Bum is criminally underpriced on DK considering he draws the Mets who we know by now are a bottom of the league team vs LHP and do not do much at home offensively in general. Bumgarner was not sharp against the Reds last week but prior to that had looked decent since his return off the DL. He isn’t the elite ace he once was, but he’s also got a geat matchup. The Mets rank in the bottom 5 of almost every statistical category vs LHP. Not hot into Bum on FD, but on DK you gotta pay attention to that price.
CORE STACKS
TIGERS … Candelario, Iglesias, Castellanos
Basically the only good hitters they have, but throw in James Adduci, he will go yard.
INDIANS … Brantley, J-Ram, Gomes
One can certainly look at this game and say yeah, it’s the obvious game for hitting, but I think lots will slide with the Red Sox against Plutko simply because he is a little bit of an unknown and min price as an arm. I love the Indians in day games even on the road and I expect them to do enough damage off Price to make this core worth it.
