Who is Gus Edwards?
Last week I targeted Ravens RB Alex Collins as both a good play for my seasonal teams and in DFS. I was even more excited when rookie Lamar Jackson was named the Ravens starting QB because mobile QBs create running lanes for running backs to use. So, it was with a bit of confusion when I saw a Ravens RB named Gus Edwards getting 17 carries against the Bengals. Did Alex Collins do something to anger Head Coach John Harbaugh or is Gus Edwards really that good?
From what I can tell, Collins is not in the doghouse, and neither are Buck Allen and Ty Montgomery. Harbaugh has liked Edwards from the preseason and wanted to give him a shot.
