Weather is OK tonight except for some rain in TOR/KC…. The slate however, is not. Seven games and pitching is an utter disaster. No, seriously. It’s worse then last night.
PITCHING
- Julio … with Blackmon out he becomes the top chalk play today.
- Jon Gray … Gray and Julio face off tonight in Atlanta and the Rockies come in cold but Gray has been really good since coming back up to the big leagues after a quick spin in the minors where he adjusted some things. I like Gray tonight as I think folks won’t be as high on him given that the Braves are hot right now.
- Clay Bucholz … Clay Bucholz is the second best arm in terms of matchup+price+recent performance. Let that sink in.
- Tanner Roark … He’s cheating. There’s no other way to explain how Roark is pitching this well lately. OK, I am being sarcastic, but the Cardinals offense is pretty good vs RHP and well… It’s Roark. But I do think tonight he can be one of the top 3 arms going. I am going to go delete my account now….

RANGERS … I love Texas tonight. Lots of HR potential and getting to face off against the latest in rookie arms to come up and be chalk. Gimme the Boys in Texas to go bananas tonight starting with Guzman and Odor
ANGELS … Angels in Arlington. We don’t get Trout here, but we do get Simba, Upton and Pujols
DIAMONDBACKS … Peralta-Pollock-Goldy-Escobar … The guys that have let you down a little bit going into PETCO
SNEAKY
ROCKIES … Story-LeMahieu-Blackmon
Julio is known to give up homers when he does get hit and I think the best leverage play with Gray tonight is Story in your lineups. DJ LeMahieu loves hitting in Atlanta, which makes sense for someone as douchey as him. But Story is at a thin position if you look past Simba in Arlingotn.
