PITCHING
Mike Clevinger … Sunshine in the day-time. Clevinger should be at the top of everyone’s list today and normally chalky SP on a Sunday is something to consider fading (and on FanDuel I don’t mind a fade) but at only 10.2k we can take Clevinger even at home today.
Jake Odorizzi … I love eggs here and at first he was going to get plenty of run support vs Turner but the Tigers have scratched Turner for ole Buck Farmer. Still like some Sunday brunch eggs over easy at home today. Just pitch around Goodrum Jake.
Jose Quintana … Here’s where things get a little dicey today. Lefties vs Pirates becoming a thing? I think so. Cubs bounce back in what has been a low scoring series and take todays game.
Anibal Sanchez … Someone I prefer on FD today.
LONGSHOT
Buck Farmer … Eddie Rosario is the only bat that scares me, but he’s not someone who should be priced as low as he is when starting. The bad thing today is there’s no stud arm to pair him with outside of Clevinger.
TARGET OFFENSES
Indians … Lindor was going to be my 100% favorite play. AAAAAAAAAAAnd he’s out. I still like the tribe a ton but we’re eating HEAVY chalk on Greg Allen leading off. Brantley-Bubba and Kipnis were my other favorites.
White Sox … Despite being #2 they’re really a team who belongs under the ‘sneaky’ category but this is my favorite stack of the day. They should fall under the radar thanks to a couple really garbage/cheap pitchers going up against the Red Sox and Indians but Fillmyer is someone we can definitely attack and this is the game all weekend I have been waiting to unleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaash the MONCADA
Blue Jays … Team facing their old pitcher narrative. SMOAK TIME and RUSS MARTIN LEADING OFF. John Gibbons is f’n brilliant. Martin-Smoak-TEOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
San Francisco … McCutchen and Longoria back on the east coast for a Sunday. I start here and I flip the middle finger to anyone who bitches about their last two games.
Nationals … I cannot see any scenario where Urena pitches with his head on straight today. Divisional right handed first baseman = Gold vs Urena. Oh wait. The Nationals are fucktards and are starting Matt Adams instead. Fuck that. Down the list you guys go.
