WEATHER

All games should play with a little rain in St. Louis

PITCHING

  1. Clayton Kershaw … Despite having gold ole Joe West behind the dish tonight, Kershaw has absolutely zero logical reasons to think he will not pitch well today against the Marlins at home.  Kershaw always seems to have one of these games in late April/Early May window against the worst team in the league at home on an otherwise quiet night for pitching.  He’s #1.  Duh….  BTW, this is a 4:30 local start in LA.  There should be shadows.  This could be an insanely dominant performance.
  2. Trevor Bauer … He’s going to pitch well in what I think is a 2-1 or 3-2 pitchers duel.  Bauer is someone I hate playing however the kid looks like he finally has it figured out between the ears.  He’s always done well vs LH bats and with Bryant still out that makes this lineup even weaker.  Bauer Outage time….
  3. Aaron Sanchez … I don’t love him but if you wanna go off Kershaw on DK and roll with Bauer I would recommend you pair him with a mid range guy like Sanchez who has the ability to go deeper into the game than the longshot below.  Boston is someone we shouldn’t be picking on but this is 3 games in a row now they’ve cooled off and I wanted to give you an alternative to Sanchez.  He won’t make it onto my main or second lineup, but I’m doing 3 lineups tonight and he’ll be on the third with Bauer.  The key with Sanchez is that he has done GREAT versus the Sox hottest hitter (Hanley).

LONGSHOT

  1. Kendall Graveman … If you like history against a team there is enough good history against Texas to trust Gravemen.  Multiple games over 20 DK points last year and for someone who is cheaper than a few bats you’ll be considering you can do FAR worse as a punt SP today in my mind.  Yes, he has given up a HR every game this year, but even a blind squirrel finds a nut every once and a while….  Let keep the longshot balls to the walls calls going with little squirrels nuts tonight

POSITIONAL TARGETS

CATCHER

  1. Wilson Ramos
  2. Chance Cisco at the Disco
  3. Yadier Molina

Despite some weather concerns we gotta pay attention to Yadi and his hot bat against Steven Garbage Matz and the Mets.  That said, the two guys above him have the best HR upside tonight.

FIRST BASE

  1. Matt Olson
  2. Brad Miller

Stopping right here.  Matt Olson is 2900 on FD.  Brad Miller is 2600 on FD.  I love them both.  I’m not even considering anyone else since I need $ to get Kershaw in… Move on….

SECOND BASE

  1. Eric Sogard
  2. Ketel Marte
  3. Whit Merrifield

This position is terrible…..   Search for value

THIRD BASE

  1. Mike Moose Tacos
  2. Matt Chapman
  3. Raffy Devers

Something tells me we need a HR here tonight.  Moose is the guy to lock in and move on as a one off while Chapman is the “logical” or “safe” play that you’ll see touted today.  Devers is the guy that you wanna double up in the Utility tonight if you dont use that on first base or outfield

SHORTSTOP

  1. Manny Machado
  2. Francisco Lindor
  3. Eduardo Nunez

Too many studs here to ignore for their upside.  I would much rather spend here than first or second for infield tonight.

OUTFIELD – Tier 1

  1. Carlos Gomez
  2. Christian Yelich
  3. Matt Joyce
  4. Marcell Ozuna

Ozuna’s cold slump has gotta end here tonight against Matz.  Yelich is someone that I don’t think enough people will be on because he’s always just a basic double run scored RBI guy without the 40 point upside, but I like him a ton tonight.  Joyce/Gomez are your top value plays which is why they’re in Tier 1.

OUTFIELD – Tier 2

  1. Domingo Santana
  2. Chris Taylor
  3. Teo Hernandez
  4. Thomas Pham
  5. Denard Span
  6. Adam Jones

OUTFIELD – Tier 3

  1. Brandon Guyer
  2. Trey Mancini
  3. (See Gomez and Joyce)

STACKS

Image result for tampa rays animated gifTampa Bay Rays … I love the Rays spot going into Baltimore which is going to feel like playing on a softball field against a co-ed team with college cheerleaders on it to them.  Basically what I am saying is that Tampa’s stadium sucks for hitting and sucks for viewing pleasure, while Baltimore’s stadium is great for hitting and great on the eyes.  Not to mention, it’s actually kind of humid here too… Yeah.  Gimme all the Rays against former Ray Alex Cobb today…   Gomez-Miller-Ramos-Span my favorites

Baltimore … The Humidity… I’ll just leave it at that.  Tons of HR in this game tonight in my mind.

Oakland A’s … I am NOT as high on the A’s as I have been the last two nights — which means they probably pop off tonight — but something about Fister is just bothering me for full explosion today.  That said, I love Olson and Khris Davis.  Everyone’s been chasing the Davis HR in Texas versus lefties — except us!  We know it’s gonna come vs a RHP.  Tonight.  Lock in these two.

SNEAKY

Kansas City Royals … I like both the Royals and Indians but the weather and matchup favors the Royals, so they’re the recommended sneaky stack of the day.  With Salvy back the Whit-Moose-Salvy core can really pay dividends against Chacin who annually sucks on the road.

DONGERS CLUB

  2. Marcell Ozuna – OF
  3. Khris Davis – OF

  6. Carlos Gomez – OF
  7. Chance Cisco – C
  8. Whit Merrifield – 2B
  9. BONUS ………………… Brad Miller – 1B
