?— BREAKOUT —

George Pickens (WR) Pittsburgh Steelers – George Pickens has a chance to be a SUPERSTAR in this league if he is given the volume to succeed.  He makes catches and plays that other players physically cannot make and he does it routinely.

Pickens has a Randy Moss-esque star power about him and the tools to play like him, it just comes down to Kenny Pickett feeding him the ball. A quick search on social media will show some of the eye-opening plays that the sophomore wideout has already made in training camp.

Also, Having Diontae Johnson on the other side with TE Pat Freiermuth in the middle means defenses cannot have a singular focus to stop Pickens and anytime he has 1-1 coverage, the ball MUST go his way.  And if it does, you are seeing a potential top-10 fantasy wide receiver. ..

WHO WILL BE PLAYER X’S SLEEPER, BUST, COMEBACK, AND LATE-ROUND STATSH FOR THE UPCOMING FANTASY FOOTBALL SEASON?

Fantasy Football Draft Strategy: QB

Lamar Jackson Baltimore Ravens

2023 Fantasy Football Draft Strategy: QB Before drafting each fantasy football season, I need to be in tune with the player pool. I then must understand the drop-downs at each position within fantasy drafts. That’s the key that drives my 2023 Fantasy Football Draft Strategy: QB.  There are all different kinds of fantasy football leagues across the country. For the casual player, most formats are trading with a playoff system at the end of the year. In most cases, the best team doesn’t necessarily win each season. The goal is to draft a team with enough depth and upside to compete for the league title.  Each drafter will be dealt a different hand as they will pick from various draft slots. Without a top draft selection, most fantasy managers will have to be creative in gaining edges at different positions to compete for a league or an overall title. Quarterback Target Points Before you sit at the draft table, one of the first steps is understanding what you need out of every position to be a contender. So, I will go through every position on a fantasy roster and give you the average player stats to help you see what it takes to have an edge at each lineup slot. The data listed is for 12-team leagues using the criteria below. This scoring system awards four points for quarterback passing touchdowns with 0.05 points for each passing yard.  Each rushing and receiving yard is worth 0.10 points.  Each reception is worth one point. Each rushing or receiving touchdown is worth six points. The tables below show the average scores for the top 12 options at each position over the last four seasons. The first part of the equation is learning the gaps and edges of each position. Here are the average position scores for all 11 starting roster slots in the Fantasy Football World Championships over the last four seasons: These scores can be used as targets for each position. A winning team must have an edge at multiple starting lineup slots to win their league. Their roster needs depth, along with success managing their team through bye weeks and injuries. The goal in this format is to score more than 145 fantasy points per week. If you do this, you should finish in the top four in your league with a chance to win a championship. However, the best teams in this competition will average more than 165 points. The medium scoring for all 11 roster slots in the World Championship over the previous six seasons came to 137.41 (2017), 144.60 (2018), 144.82 (2019), 149.09 (2020), 149.08 (2021), and 146.06 (2022). There has been a spike in rushing touchdowns in 2021 (532) and 2022 (505) after progressing higher from 2016 to 20219 (443, 380, 439, and 447). The change in replay rules led to many more players being downed inside the two-yard line on passing plays. That led to more scoring chances in close on the ground. In addition, there has been an influx of rushing quarterbacks over the past five seasons.  The success of mobile quarterbacks in the run game also led to a rise in overall yards per rush in 2018 (4.42), 2019 (4.32), 2020 (4.41), 2021 (4.33), and 2022 (4.46). The final total in passing touchdowns reached an all-time high in 2020 (871). They fell dramatically in 2022 (750) due to the weakest backend quarterback pool over the last 11 years. Here’s a look at the best quarterback options over the previous four seasons: In 2022, the average quarterback in the NFL passed for 234.38 yards per game with 21.41 completions on 33.34 pass attempts. That also resulted in 1.38 touchdowns and 0.77 interceptions. These stats translate into under 19.22 fantasy points per game in leagues that award four points for each passing touchdown and 0.05 for each yard passing.  The overall number would be slightly higher as most quarterbacks gain some value with their rushing production. The top 12 quarterbacks over the last four years averaged between 22.42 and 25.32 fantasy points per game. 2017 delivered the lowest output (20.94) over the past 11 years. Impact of Rushing Production In 2020, the quarterback position was front-loaded. That season, six quarterbacks scored 419 fantasy points or more. Fifteen quarterbacks finished with over 300 fantasy points. Josh Allen led the way with 457.60 fantasy points. The average score (25.32) for the top 12 quarterbacks was the highest in the history of fantasy football. The top end of the quarterback pool remained strong in 2021 and 2022. That resulted in four players each season scoring at least 410 fantasy points.  Over 17 games last season, the average top-12 quarterback production delivered 376.70 fantasy points in four-point passing touchdown leagues. Patrick Mahomes (482.30 fantasy points) knocked Josh Allen (457.35) off the top quarterback-scoring podium. But Allen has been the best quarterback in the NFL from 2020 to 2022 in fantasy scoring. The quarterback position is certainly dynamic. But it is one where a weaker quarterback can match a top quarterback over short periods in league championship rounds. This is why many drafters in this type of format will wait to draft a quarterback. By doing this, they will likely be more potent at other starting roster slots. I’ve never been a good matchup manager at the quarterback position, leading me to draft a more reliable quarterback and ride him out throughout the season.  Of all the positions on a fantasy team, the quarterback position will offer the most points in the free-agent pool. In addition, a back-end quarterback could put up 20-plus fantasy points in any given week, pointing to another reason to wait on the QB position. A team that punts the quarterback position will give up three to 10 fantasy points per week to the top four teams in the league. I know the goal for someone that waits on the quarterback position is to find the next breakout player. In this strategy, it is vital

Ian was forced into an early retirement upon founding the Fantasy Football World Championship, but Ian can still dispense some of the best advice out there. That included being “all in” on Josh Jacobs and others last season.

Now, it’s time to pull out the crystal ball for the 2023 Preseason Pro: Ian Ritchie.

BREAKOUT

Christian Watson (WR) Green Bay Packers – A bit of a gamble with a new QB in Jordan Love and what will probably be a new offensive play-calling mix.  But I just can’t forget how he finished so strong last season and how he has all of the classic traits of a breakout candidate in his second season.

A long-time beat writer I have always liked and trusted, Bill Huber of Sports Illustrated Packer Central, has written of his comparison of Christian Watson and Randy Moss. Bold, yes. But shows a true belief in the young receiver from a seasoned insider. Watson gives you BIG upside and is worthy of a target tag going into your drafts.

Also, per FullTime Fantasy’s WR Strength of Schedule Tool, Watson and the Packers boast the NFL’s…

Finally, Jody was way ahead of the consensus last season on Travis Etienne and Evan Engram. Let’s see what he forecasts this year with our 2023 Preseason Pro: Jody Smith. — BREAKOUT —  Rachaad White (RB) Tampa Bay Buccaneers – It’s a new era in Tampa. Without Tom Brady, the Buccaneers are projected to be one of the worst teams in football. However, that doesn’t mean that there won’t be fantasy production in Tampa Bay. Last year’s overall RB12, Leonard Fournette, is no longer wearing pewter. That means sophomore running back Rachaad White is this unquestioned starter in 2023. Plus, the Bucs didn’t add any competition via the 2023 NFL Draft. This is White’s backfield and he fared well with an extended look to ramp up his rookie campaign. In his final eight games, White averaged 11.3 touches and 65 scrimmage yards per contest. Even splitting touches with Fournette, White still posted RB35 numbers as a rookie. A large part of that production came from targets. White ranked 11th among running backs with 50 receptions. However, Fournette ranked third with 73. The vast majority of those targets will now be intended for White. Rachaad White saw a target on 12.4% of his snaps in 2022, the 4th highest among RBs with 300+ snaps and just between Christian McCaffrey (12.5%) and Rhamondre Stevenson (12.2%)pic.twitter.com/N7cYbhJaCR — Scott Spratt (@Scott_Spratt) July 20, 2023 Of course, the Bucs won’t throw as much with Baker Mayfield under center. However, Mayfield has a history of peppering running backs with targets. Tampa Bay should see plenty of favorable game scripts for the passing attack. White is a dark horse to lead running backs in targets. That gives him real breakout potential in season two. — SLEEPER — Jahmyr Gibbs & David Montgomery (RB) Detroit Lions – The rebuilt Lions are no longer pushovers in the competitive NFC North. Fresh off a 9-8 campaign, Detroit is poised to make the playoffs for the first time since 2016. The biggest part of the turnaround was from the club’s offense. Detroit ranked fourth overall in yards and fifth in points scored. They also rushed for 22 touchdowns a year ago- third-most in football. And after spending the 12th overall pick on electric Alabama RB Jahmyr Gibbs, the 2023 Lions could be even more potent. In fact, the club was so enamored with Gibbs that they sent D’Andre Swift to Philadelphia. Swift posted RB17 numbers in PPR points per game last season. However, Gibbs is actually a better NFL prospect. Gibbs posted an elite 99th percentile 4.37-second 40-yard dash. He also forced a ton of missed tackles and showcased superlative footwork. PFF graded Gibbs as a top-10 pass-catching running back last season. I envision Dan Campbell and Ben Johnson utilizing Gibbs in a similar fashion as Swift. However, Gibbs is more explosive and less likely to be felled by the nagging injuries that hampered Swift throughout his Detroit tenure. Dating back to 2006, 10 of the 13 running backs selected inside the top 12 posted RB2 numbers or better in Year One. Also, Gibbs has already impressed with first-team reps this summer. He has a very good shot at posting top-10 numbers right away. As for David Montgomery, this staff proved last year that there is plenty of room for two backs. Detroit rushed for 2,179 yards and 23 scores. “No. 2” back Jamaal Williams ran for 1,066 yards and an NFL-high 17 touchdowns. Montgomery is a better receiver than Williams and also weighs 225 pounds. Montgomery should be able to parlay that same role into another solid fantasy campaign. Last season, Montgomery ranked 14th among all running backs with 17 touches (6 TDs) inside his opponent’s 10-yard line. He

As a known fantasy fiend, I am through eight FullTime Fantasy Championship Drafts over at the FFWC. In that time, I found some very nice values in the ADP that I have been mining in the draft room. I want to share my FullTime Fantasy Championship ADP Values with FullTime Fantasy Members to help you get a leg up on your draft day. This is premium content and I probably shouldn’t be sharing this with you all…But that’s what they pay me to do.

The FullTime Fantasy Championship is a contest where the top-4 finishers in each league after Week 14 advance to the Championship Round (Weeks 15-17). This is a PPR league with kickers, defenses, and two (non-QB) flex spots. A 20-round draft gets rosters started, with NO TRADES allowed.

What separates the FullTime Fantasy Championship from others is that it offers THE HIGHEST RETURN ON INVESTMENT FOR ANY NATIONAL COMPETITION!

ONLINE DRAFTS  are already underway and you can choose your preferred time or a SLOW draft. You can also register for the LIVE EVENTS that will take place at the CIRCA HOTEL in Las Vegas! But act fast as this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity won’t last long!

Now, let’s check out some of my favorite ADP values to exploit in FullTime Fantasy Championship drafts.

Quarterbacks

Josh Allen (Buffalo Bills) QB3 (Round 5.3)

On most other sites Allen is going in the late third round as the QB3. However, Allen is being targeted a full two rounds earlier. Stud QBs are en vogue in 2023. That said, having the ability to build the core of your team and then add the back-to-back overall  QB1 in fantasy ppg is criminal!

It’s always fascinating to see different draft strategies play out in various formats. But this season, there has been a premium placed on elite signal callers. That’s why I feel nabbing Allen in the fifth round is a tremendous value I’m more than happy to exploit.

DRAFT NOW | Quick Summary | Official Rules SCORING Team scoring is carried out to the hundredth decimal place (e.g. a team may score 104.35 points). An individual offensive player on any active starting lineup will be credited points for scoring in the following manner: Passing · Yards passing divided by 20 (e.g. 301 passing yards = 15.05 fantasy points) · 4 Points for every passing TD. · Minus one point (-1) for every interception thrown. Rushing · Yards rushing divided by 10 (e.g. 116 rushing yards = 11.6 fantasy points). · 6 points for every rushing TD. · 1 point for every reception. Receiving · Yards receiving divided by 10 (e.g. 73 receiving yards = 7.3 fantasy points). · 6 points for every receiving TD. · 1 point for every reception. Placekicking · 1 point for every Extra Point · 3 points for every FG of 1-30 yards plus 0.1 points for every yard thereafter. · Example: A 46-yard FG would be worth 4.6 points. Defense and Special Teams Scoring · 1 point for every sack · 2 points for every team takeaway (interception or fumble recovery)** · 6 points for every TD (via interception return, fumble return, punt or kickoff return, blocked FG return, missed FG return, blocked punt return)* · 2 points for every safety · 5 points for every shutout*** · 2 points for allowing between 1-5 points*** · 1 point for allowing between 6-10 points*** * TDs scored on “fake” FGs or “fake” punts do NOT count as Defense/Special Teams scoring. TDs scored by the offensive team after a blocked FG or blocked punt do NOT count as a Defense/Special teams score. TDs scored on a double-turnover only count for the individual player who scored the TD, not for the team. ** A double turnover is considered points for the recovering team’s defense and ST. Thus, an example, team A’s offense fumbles, and Team B’s defense recovers, but then fumbles the ball back to team A’s offense. In that scenario, Team A’s defense and special teams (along with team B’s defense and ST) are both awarded a fumble recovery. *** Any and all points scored against a team are considered points scored against the special teams and defense. Thus, as an example, a turnover by the offense that is returned for a TD is considered as points scored against the special teams and defense. FFWC SuperFlex Bowl Draft Recap

Superflex Bowl

On this week’s FullTime Fantasy Podcast, Jody Smith and I participated in a live FFWC Superflex Bowl draft. The competition was fierce and the draft quickly took a turn. This FFWC Superflex Bowl Live Draft Recap breaks down my overall thoughts, plus the pros and cons for all 12 participants. If you’re new to the SuperFlex Bowl concept, it is a bestball contest that allows you to use a second quarterback as a flex option. It also boasts a nifty $5,000 Grand Prize for the best team. It’s a 20-round bestball draft with PPR scoring that features a 9-man starting lineup. The top two finishers in each 12-man league advance to the championship round in Weeks 15-17 and are guaranteed to win at least $100 while advancing with a shot at the $5,000 grand prize. Click above for more information on the SuperFlex Bowl. Now, let’s get on to my FFWC SuperFlex Bowl Live Draft Recap that was featured on the FullTime Fantasy Podcast show. Team 1 I really like this team. Of course, having the 1.01 doesn’t hurt. However, the build of elite quarterbacks and wide receivers early was great. Especially in the SuperFlex Bowl tournament because you have to start 3 WRs and can start up to 5. Johnston was a steal and could thrive as a YAC monster in this offense. A possible league winner if the cards fall right. Hit: Quentin Johnston (WR) Los Angeles Chargers Miss: Rachaad White (RB) Tampa Bay Buccaneers Team 2 This is also another well-built team. The Allen-Diggs stack is sweet and hard to come by in Superflex drafts. Unfortunately, after Diggs though the wide receiver depth is thin. Allen is over the hill and has a ton of target competition now. Also, I would have rather seen another wideout there or even a running back. Rookie RB Devon Achane at RB 42 might steal the show for this team. Hit: Stephon Diggs (WR) Buffalo Bills Miss: Keenan Allen (WR) Los Angeles Chargers Team 3 I would never call out my partner @JodySmithNFL. However, after committing to Jalen Hurts at 1.03, I would have followed up with A.J. Brown at 2.10. Stacking is critical in these best ball tournaments. I do like Lamb as a player though. If Stafford returns to form and Kamara plays most of the season then this team could contend. Hit: Amon-Ra St. Brown (WR) Detroit Lions Miss: CeeDee Lamb (WR) Dallas Cowboys Team 4 I LOVE the players drafted on this team. In a vacuum, there is excellent pick-by-pick value. However, the problem is the build. I would have gone Lamar Jackson or Justin Herbert over Joe Burrow. But, if you are going to take Burrow, stacking is crucial. Also, this is Superflex and you need to start two signal callers every week. There is a good shot that this team will not have that for a healthy portion of the season. Consequently, that will ultimately hurt a team that I overall like. Hit: Garrett Wilson (WR) New York Jets Miss: Kyler Murray (QB) Arizona Cardinals Team 5 Contrary to a couple of the preceding teams, Team 5 spent too much draft capital on QB. Now I certainly get the strategy of dominating the quarterback position in Superflex. But, when you start the draft QB-QB you have to bank on them carrying you and load up elsewhere. Three QBs can work, but only if you start taking them later. Unfortunately, that was not the way this draft played up and positional depth is a concern. Also, the lack of a proper team stack could prove to be an issue. Hit: Najee Harris (RB) Pittsburgh Steelers Miss: Derek Carr (QB) New Orleans Saints Team 6 Similar to the preceding team, I don’t love the QB-QB-QB start. Plus, I have doubts that Travis Etienne can fill the Hero RB role. This squad probably needed to take another running back much earlier with this build. However, I do love the Deshaun Watson-Elijah Moore stack. As long as DeAndre Hopkins doesn’t sign there, which is a real possibility. Hit: Elijah Moore (WR) Cleveland Browns Miss: Daniel Jones (QB) New York Giants Team 7 It is hard to not like a team that starts with Justin Jefferson and Travis Kelce. Acquiring the consensus No. 1 player at two positions is unheard of. Jody Smith poignantly pointed this out during our live coverage of this very draft. However, I question the logic of avoiding valuable positional depth for the sake of two reserve signal callers who underperformed last season. A three-QB build with more flex depth would have been better advised. Hit: Travis Kelce (TE) Kansas City Chiefs Miss:  Mike White (QB) Miami Dolphins Team 8 First, this might be my favorite team. I love the build and the players at their values. Secondly, Justin Herbert is my QB 5, so QB7 is a value. My only complaint is that the team is stackless. Also, snagging Colt McCoy with the final pick was far from egregious. However, a fourth QB left this squad awfully thin at wide receiver. That may hurt during a race for $5K with other really good teams. Finally, if Brock Purdy plays the whole season this may be the team to beat in this league. Hit: Justin Herbert (QB) Los Angeles Chargers Miss: Colt McCoy (QB) Arizona Cardinals. Team 9 I appreciate the guts to fade Qb in a superflex format. That strategy was executed correctly, as well. By getting an elite tight end and loading up on pass catchers. Tee Higgins was a bit early for me as I have Chris Olave, DeVonta Smith, and DK Metcalf all ahead of him. Will need some luck at the QB position to make this work but could be a juggernaut. Hit: Jonathan Mingo (WR) Carolina Panthers Miss: Tee Higgins (WR) Cincinnati Bengals Team 10 I figured I would be fading QB early and was happy to get Geno Smith and Russell Wilson at the 3/4 turn. Also, Austin Ekeler as the RB4 was the only reason I passed on Travis Kelce. Honestly, I could have gone

FFWC ADP Risers & Fallers

Anthony Richardson goes #4 to the Indianapolis Colts

NFL OTA offseason workouts are now underway, joining  FFWC best ball and Dynasty Football World Championship drafts that began weeks ago. With so many drafts in the books, an early fantasy ADP has already been established. Studying the FFWC ADP Risers & Fallers can give savvy fantasy drafters a significant advantage. Knowing which players are early 2023 fantasy fades can also be beneficial. Let’s explore some of the early FFWC ADP risers & fallers and what kind of impact this movement will have on fantasy football roster construction in 2023. And while we’re on the subject, now is a great time to adopt a Dynasty Football World Championship squad. The Dynasty Football World Championships Orphans are now on sale! Click HERE to enter the Orphans lobby and get teams up to 50% OFF!  — ADP Risers — Anthony Richardson (QB) Indianapolis Colts (ADP: 154, +54) Anthony Richardson, a rookie quarterback for the Colts, has experienced a significant rise in his Average Draft Position (ADP), with an increase of 54 spots since the NFL Draft. Despite only starting for one year at Florida, Richardson impressed at the NFL Combine and garnered attention from teams, eventually being selected as the fourth overall pick. Colts owner Jim Irsay has confirmed that Richardson will start this season. However, the number of games he will play is still undetermined. In just three weeks, Richardson’s draft stock has climbed approximately 4.5 rounds. It will be intriguing to see how high he will be drafted by August. As of right now though, Richardson is being criminally undervalued in FFWC Best-Ball Drafts as QB 24. Lamar Jackson (QB) Baltimore Ravens (ADP 45, +47) Lamar Jackson recently signed a five-year contract extension worth $260 million. This significant deal allows fantasy managers to fully invest in Jackson for the 2023 season. Baltimore’s investment in a rebuilt supporting cast has also helped Jackson’s ADP. The Ravens also drafted wide receiver Zay Flowers and added veteran receiver Odell Beckham Jr further contributing to the surge in Jackson’s ADP. Flowers provides another weapon for the 26-year-old quarterback in the middle of the field. Jackson is my favorite elite QB pick as the 6th QB off the board in FFWC Best-Ball Drafts. Jerick McKinnon (RB) Kansas City Chiefs (ADP: 160, +46) Jerick McKinnon’s decision to re-sign with the Chiefs on May 2nd led to a notable increase in his Average Draft Position. The  Chiefs did not acquire any formidable competition at the running back position during the NFL Draft, solidifying Isaiah Pacheco as the presumed starter while McKinnon handles the passing-down duties. McKinnon offers considerable fantasy potential and remains a cost-effective option as the RB 48 in FFWC Best-Ball drafts. James Connor (RB) Arizona Cardinals (ADP: 66, +33) Connor was a big winner in the 2023 NFL draft. The Cardinals didn’t add a running back in the draft and spent a top-10 pick on franchise LT Paris Johnson Jr. The Cards are expected to play from behind a bunch this season but Connor has a proven track record catching the ball. I like his ADP as the 24th RB off the board. Adam Thielen (WR) Carolina Panthers (ADP 75, +76) Apparently, everyone is excited about the new landing spot for the veteran wide receiver. The Panthers have a rookie at QB in Bryce Young and added WR Jonathan Mingo in the draft while also signing DJ Chark in the off-season, so I am not sure why Thielen’s stock has risen so high. Thielen is well past his prime at age 33 when the season starts. Despite the abundant routes Theilen ran in 2022, there are plenty of red flags about his skill set dropping off.  I will be fading him everywhere in 2023. Brandon Aiyuk (WR) San Francisco 49ers (ADP 79, +24) The Niners added nothing of note to their offense in 2023, but I’m not really sure why there has been a recent surge in ADP for the 25-year-old WR. After a breakout in 2022 which saw Aiyuk eclipse the 1,000-yard mark, fantasy drafters are looking for another great season making him the WR27 off the board in FFWC drafts. The price is fair for the up-and-coming wideout, but I would like to see who settles in at QB before committing. Dalton Kincaid (TE) Buffalo Bills (ADP 166, +19) The highest-drafted rookie tight end, Dalton Kincaid found himself in a highly advantageous situation for potential fantasy output. It’s worth noting that rookie tight ends often face challenges in their first season, but word on the street is that Kincaid will be more of a big slot WR than a TE. Currently, Kincaid is being drafted as the TE24 in FFWC drafts, which is nowhere near as high as he will reach this summer….and I’m all in. — ADP Fallers — Deshaun Watson (QB) Cleveland Browns (ADP: 100, -29) Watson’s drop in ADP is probably just collateral damage from a bunch of the other QBs around him adding weapons and rising in ADP. The NFL Draft didn’t hurt Watson as the Browns used their first pick in the draft on WR Cedric Tillman out of Tennessee. If you liked Watson before the NFL draft you should like him even more now. Geno Smith (QB) Seattle Seahawks (ADP: 130, -12) Geno Smith has recently dropped in FFWC ADP and I have no idea why… The Seahawks added Jaxon Smith-Njigba, whom many consider the top wide receiver in this year’s draft class, which should enhance Smith’s draft value. Smith-Njigba joins DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett as an elite pass-catching group for the ten-year veteran quarterback. He currently holds the QB16 position on FFWC boards but possesses the potential to be a fantasy QB1 this season. Tyler Allgeier (RB) Atlanta Falcons (ADP 156, -74) This is simple. The Falcons took a generational talent in Bijan Robinson during the 2023 NFL Draft. I do think Allgeier is an elite handcuff, so don’t just ignore him. Allgeier’s 1,035 rushing yards in 2022 trailed only Ken Walker among rookie backs. Arthur
