Circa Survivor Report: Week 18

Circa Survivor Report: Week 18 2024 CIRCA SURVIVOR CONTEST CROWNS EIGHT CHAMPIONS 18 entrants entered the final week of the 2024 NFL regular season to make one final winning selection in search of a share of Circa’s $14 million Survivor contest. Our Circa Survivor Report: Week 18 has all the details to conclude a wild 2024 campaign. The contest requires one winning pick every week (plus two additional Thanksgiving and Christmas ‘stand-alone’ weeks) with no point spreads. The main challenge in the high-stakes competition is that no team can be selected more than once during the season. After the Falcons and Packers both suffered losses, the field of 18 was left with only eight teams owning a perfect 20-0! When Arizona finished off the 49ers in the late window it left C3 Picks, Dream Stakes, Meatball Brothers, Pumbapack 9, TY1823, Whateverallwant, Whiskey Business, and Vodka Johnny each receiving $1,783,250 of the $14,266,000 total prize pool. Cardinals win which means we have 8 Circa Survivor Champions! Your 2024-2025 Circa Survivor Champions are as follows: C3 Picks, DREAM STAKES, MEATBALL BROTHERS, PUMBAPACK 9, TY1823, WHATEVERYALLWANT, Whiskey Business, and VODKA JOHNNY. Congratulations to everyone involved with… pic.twitter.com/gNJdyqvrjP — Survivor Sweat (@SurvivorSweat) January 6, 2025 The slate, which started on Saturday, saw favorites go 12-4 Straight-up (SU). However, two of those upsets in an unpredictable Week 18 dashed the hopes of 10 contestants. Eight entrants selected the Falcons (8-point home favorites) to beat the 4-12 Panthers. Historic performance by 9️⃣@awscloud | #KeepPounding pic.twitter.com/7psY6whPhC — Carolina Panthers (@Panthers) January 6, 2025 However, Bryce Young enjoyed a career game, throwing for three touchdowns and rushing two scores, en route to leading Carolina to a 44-38 overtime win. In Week 18, underdogs posted a slim 8-7-1 Against The Spread (ATS) mark advantage. Among those ATS cashes was a SU upset victory that “grated” the aspirations of any life-changing win. Two other entries felt supremely confident selecting an 11-win Packers squad (10.5-point home favorites) would sail past the lowly 4-12 Bears. Grate win 🧀 pic.twitter.com/haqwBAAOmA — Chicago Bears (@ChicagoBears) January 5, 2025 However, Chicago pulled off the shocking upset, beating Green Bay 24-22. From a full betting perspective, 2024 regular season NFL favorites finished with a sizable 192-75 SU (71.9%) (5 Pick’ems) and 140-120-7 ATS (53.8%) edge. Home teams held a slim 141-126 SU (52.8%) advantage (five international games) while road teams finished with the coveted 133-127-7 ATS (51.8%) edge. The Circa Survivor contest is a grueling contest that forces entrants to pick one winner every week, with no spread with one pivotal caveat. Entrants CAN NOT use the same team more than once during the season. Circa Hotel and Resort in Las Vegas is the proud home of FullTime Fantasy‘s renowned Fantasy Football World Championship! Week 18 NFL Incentives to Target

Week 18 Incentives to Target Welcome to 2025! While the 2024 season has concluded, there is still a week of NFL action to enjoy. That opens the door for DFS enthusiasts to put their full attention on a wide-open slate. However, some teams have little to play for and will rest starters. Conversely, some players have Week 18 incentives to target. This is a recap of the teams that have already clinched and have little at stake this week. Therefore, fantasy football fans should avoid these players. Plenty of players are set to hit bonuses or milestones that make them enviable targets. Teams to Avoid Kansas City Chiefs – The Chiefs have already secured the AFC’s No. 1 seed. Andy Reid announced that Carson Wentz will start and presumably, the rest of the team’s starters will rest. Buffalo Bills– Locked into the AFC’s No. 2 seed. Expect Josh Allen to play the opening drive but that’s about it. The same should apply to the team’s key offensive starters. Philadelphia Eagles – Philadelphia is locked into the NFC’s No. 2 seed and will sit their starters. Surprisingly, this includes RB Saquon Barkley, who needed just 101 yards to break the all-time rushing record. Houston Texans – DeMeco Ryans plans to open the game with his starters and “see how the game goes.” The AFC South champs are limping into the playoffs and would like to avenge an earlier loss to the lowly Texans. However, it makes little sense to risk C.J. Stroud, Nico Collins, or Joe Mixon in a largely meaningless game. Los Angeles Rams – Although the Rams could move into the No. 3 spot with a win and Tampa loss, Sean McVay has already indicated that he will rest his starters. Plenty at Stake Baltimore Ravens – A win versus the Browns clinches the AFC North title and the No. 3 seed. Detroit Lions – The top 2 teams in the NFC will square off to determine who will secure the conference’s No. 1 seed. This Lions vs. Vikings game has a season-high total of 56 points. The loser tumbles down to the No. 5 seeds. Sunday night is a huge game. Minnesota Vikings – A little extra motivation for the Vikings, who are looking to pay back the Lions for handing them one of their two losses on the season. Detroit is a slim 2.5-point home favorite in a game that should be an instant classic. The winner secures home-field advantage throughout the NFC playoffs. Denver Broncos – Denver is in the playoffs with a win. With Kansas City resting starters, the Broncos are 10.5-point home favorites. Tampa Bay Buccaneers – The Bucs are also in a “win and in” situation at home against the Saints. Tampa is currently a 13-point favorite and clearly in the driver’s seat. A victory secures Tampa another NFC South crown and the No. 3 seed. Green Bay Packers – Green Bay has already clinched a playoff spot. The Packers enter Week 18 as the No. 7 seed. However, they could move up to No. 6 with a home win against the Bears and a Dallas victory over Washington. Additionally, Matt LaFleur said he plans to play his starters in their normal roles. Washington Commanders – Dan Quinn also told the media his starters will play in Week 18 as the Commanders try to secure the No. 6 seed. Whoever wins that spot avoids an opening-round trip to Philadelphia, so there is plenty of motivation for Washington to dispatch the hated Cowboys. To Be Determined Pittsburgh Steelers – The Steelers play Saturday night and will already know the outcome of the Baltimore vs. Cleveland game. If the Ravens (17.5-point home favorites) win, Pittsburgh is locked into the No. 5 seed and will travel to Houston. If the Browns pull the upset, the Steelers will play all-out for the No. 3 seed. Miami Dolphins – The Dolphins need a lot of help to make the playoffs. Most importantly, they need the Broncos (10.5-point favorites) to lose. Miami is also dealing with a lot of injuries, so they’ll be playing to win but monitoring the game in Denver. Fantasy managers can target De’Von Achane, Tyreek Hill, and Jonnu Smith and hope for a fast start. Atlanta Falcons – Week 18 is a must-win for the Falcons to have any hope of winning the NFC South. However, Atlanta also needs Tampa Bay to lose, so they will be going all-out while keeping an eye on the scoreboard. With the Bucs big home favorites, the odds are against the Falcons sneaking into the postseason field. Regardless, they’ll likely play their starters the full game. Los Angeles Chargers – The Chargers travel to Las Vegas on Sunday and will already know if they have anything at stake thanks the the Steelers vs. Bengals game on Saturday. If Pittsburgh wins, the Chargers are locked into the No. 6 seed. However, if Cincinnati wins, LA could move up to fifth. Jim Harbaugh said he plans to win but “will do what’s best for the team.” Player Incentives Quarterbacks Geno Smith – Needs 186 passing yards to earn a $2 million bonus. Also earns an additional $2 million if Seattle hits 10 wins. Finally, Smith earns another $2 million if he finishes at or above his current 70.2% completion rate. Baker Mayfield – Mayfield will earn a half-million if he finishes the season in the top 10 in passer rating, touchdowns, yards, completion rate, or yards-per-attempt. He is checking all of those boxes entering this game. ‘Pay dat men his money’. Aaron Rodgers – In what could be his final NFL game, Rodgers needs 377 passing yards to top 4,000 for the season. His highest figure all year was 339 in Week 14. C.J. Stroud – Stroud is just ahead of Rodgers and would need 323 passing yards to top 4K. However, with the Texans locked into the No. 4 seed, that is highly unlikely. Kyler Murray – Murray would need

Circa Survivor Report: Week 17

Circa Survivor Report: Week 17 CIRCA SURVIVOR WEEK 17: DOUBLE WEEK KO’s 60% OF FIELD Week 17 of Circa’s $14 million Survivor contest, which was broken down to 17A & 17B, proved too difficult to navigate, ending the hopes of 60% of the remaining field. The Christmas Day double-header and the Thursday night game, which were their own week (17A), eliminated 11 entries after the Bears, Steelers, and Texans all suffered losses. Heading into the weekend, 34 contestants remained alive for Week 17B. The slate, which started on Saturday, saw favorites go 13-1 Straight-up (SU). However, that “one” had a major impact on the contest. 16 entrants were confident that Indianapolis would beat a struggling two-win Giants squad with their AFC playoff hopes on the line. The ONLY underdog of 6 pts or more to win outright in December was the Drew Lock-led New York Giants against the Colts 🔥 pic.twitter.com/AYhH8kcy4r — br_betting (@br_betting) December 30, 2024 However, their hopes of surviving to the final week of this season were dashed when Drew Lock upset the Colts, 45-33. For the first time since Week 12, the most chosen selection came up short. That knocked out 47.1% of the remaining pool. The Colts go down against the Giants eliminating 16 entries and setting the overall entries at 18. This is the first time since Week 12 in this Circa Survivor contest that the number 1 selected team has taken a loss. If you made it this far and got eliminated on the Colts,… pic.twitter.com/il0D9Rz4dG — Survivor Sweat (@SurvivorSweat) December 29, 2024 In Week 17, favorites also posted a very lucrative 11-3 Against The Spread (ATS) mark (with two pick’em games). After seeing 27 entrants eliminated over the split week, only 18 of the starting 14,266 entries remain alive! The Circa Survivor contest is a grueling contest that forces entrants to pick one winner every week, with no spread with one pivotal caveat. Entrants CAN NOT use the same team more than once during the season. With the 2024 NFL season down to the last week of gridiron action, pursuing the biggest $14,266,000 prize only requires one more winning selection. Contestants (who still have them available) will heavily lean on Baltimore (-18) vs. Cleveland, Tampa Bay (-13) vs. New Orleans, Denver (-10) vs. Kansas City, and Green Bay (-9) vs. Green Bay. From a full betting perspective, favorites hold a sizable 180-71 SU (71.7%) (5 Pick’ems) and 133-112-6 ATS (54.3%) edge. Home teams hold a slim 132-119 SU (52.6%) advantage (five international games) while road teams hold the coveted 127-118-6 ATS (51.8%) edge. Monday Night Preview

Monday Night Preview: Lions vs. 49ers There is one final game left on this Championship Week 17 slate. And from a fantasy football perspective, it’s a huge one. The Detroit Lions are traveling to San Francisco to face the 49ers and the rosters are loaded with fantasy talent. However, with rumors that the Lions could rest starters in the game, the fantasy title implications are huge. Although the 14-2 Vikings have temporarily moved into first place, the NFC North title will officially be on the line Sunday night when Minnesota travels to Detroit. The winner of that game will secure the No. 1 seed and home-field advantage in the NFC playoffs. That makes next week’s primetime contest a must-see TV event for football fans. However, it will also impact tonight’s game. This game is largely meaningless for Detroit. Additionally, the Niners have already been eliminated from postseason contention. Therefore, there are rumors that Dan Campbell could elect to sit his key starters at some point tonight. That will greatly impact any remaining fantasy championship games that are still to be decided by this final contest of the week. Of course, Campbell is known for being unconventional and could easily choose to keep his foot on the gas. It all adds some intrigue to a game that was already vital. Here are some thoughts on how fantasy managers could approach this Monday Night Preview between the 49ers and Lions San Francisco 49ers The formula for the Niners is simple. Eliminated from the playoffs last week, San Francisco is playing for pride. Kyle Shanahan will not rest starters and will look to conclude a disappointing campaign on a positive note. Expect the starters to play their normal roles and allotment of snaps. QB Brock Purdy will be a QB1 facing a defense that is allowing the 11th-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks. Additionally, Detroit’s defense has been decimated by injuries. Also, if Campbell does limit his defensive starter’s snaps, Purdy could rack up some solid production. There is also good news in the backfield as starter Issac Guerendo is expected back after missing Week 16. Guernedo (hamstring/foot) was removed from the injury report. Detroit’s elite run-stopping defense is starting to fall apart. That sets up Guerendo to see a lot of volume as a strong RB2 play. Jauan Jennings and Deebo Samuel are also strong options against a defense that has allowed the seventh-most fantasy points to the position. Both are solid top-20 options in our Week 17 projections. And at tight end, George Kittle remains an every-week elite starter. However, no team has allowed fewer fantasy points to tight end than these Lions, so expectations should be somewhat tempered. Fanduel line: 5/65 (11.5 pts.) Detroit Lions Things are more complicated for fantasy managers who have been riding Detroit players to their fantasy championship matchup. Unfortunately, unless you have pivots on San Francisco’s roster, there isn’t a lot you can do. However, daily fantasy players might want to take note of some of the recent player lines and odds movements. QB Jared Goff doesn’t run much and avoids hits. He has less chance of getting hurt and could easily play the entire game. Especially if Campbell stays true to his aggressive nature and wants to exact some revenge for last year’s NFC Championship Game defeat at the hands of Shanahan and the Niners. Goff’s passing line (247.5) hasn’t decreased notably and he is still -192 to go OVER 1.5 touchdown passes. At running back, Jahmyr Gibbs‘s rushing prop has dropped five yards down to 79.5. He remains an elite option and can make an impact in just a half. Even if there is some risk of Gibbs being limited, fantasy managers have no choice but to stick with a top-3 back in this slate. Even if Gibbs was limited, there isn’t much clarity behind him. Craig Reynolds is the next man up but isn’t anywhere near the talent that David Montgomery was. Reynolds has some size and could be used in short-yardage, but he has only recorded one catch all season. Fanduel line: 83 rushing yds., 4/22 receiving (14.5 pts.) After Reynolds, Sione Vaki has mostly played special teams and has nine touches all season. Jermar Jefferson out-touched Vaki last week and could be an interesting (and inexpensive) DFS dart throw. Amon-Ra St. Brown is too good to sit. Even if there were viable replacements. St. Brown’s receiving prop has only dipped three yards, down to 73.5. Fanduel line: 7/71 (14.1 pts.) Jameson Williams also remains a decent option but the matchup isn’t great. San Francisco plays disciplined defense and has surrendered just 12 touchdowns to enemy wideouts all season. Fanduel line: 4/52 (9.2 pts.) If available, Tim Patrick would make a savvy waiver add as insurance to St. Brown or Williams. Allen Robinson and Tom Kennedy are next in line but are well off the fantasy radar except as DFS dart throws. Tight end Sam LaPorta has been hot lately and has a fantasy score prop line of 11 PPR points. That puts him in TE1 range. Fantasy managers looking for other options could consider Brock Wright, who has flashed some red-zone chemistry with Goff. TL;DR – We’re skeptical that the Lions will rest starters enough to justify taking your studs out of championship lineups. Thanks for reading our Monday Night Preview! Our best guess is a committee led by Mike Boone, but hard to trust anything in this backfield. Raheem Blackshear, Velus Jones, and Emani Bailey will also get touches. CeeDee Lamb (WR) Dallas Cowboys – Placed on IR. David Njoku (TE) Cleveland Browns Jalen Hurts (QB) Philadelphia Eagles – Did not clear concussion protocol. Kenny Pickett will start. Nick Folk (PK) Tennessee Titans Cedric Tillman (WR) Cleveland Browns Dyami Brown (WR) Washington Commanders Questionable Issac Guerendo (RB) San Francisco 49ers – The Niners play on Monday, so Saturday’s practice will be telling. Chirs Olave (WR) New Orleans Saints – Apparently the Saints are considering activating Olave. However, the move doesn’t make much sense in a lost season. Anthony Richardson (QB) Indianapolis Colts – Has not practiced all week. However, there is optimism that he will start. Tyreek Hill (WR) Miami Dolphins Jaylen Waddle (WR) Miami Dolphins Jalen Tolbert (WR) Dallas Cowboys Christian Watson (WR) Green Bay Packers Tony Pollard (RB) Tennessee Titans Tyler Boyd (WR) Tennessee Titans EXPECTED TO PLAY A.J. Additionally, FullTime Fantasy has some of the top tools of the trade and accurate rankings. Quarterbacks Start ‘Em Jared Goff, Detroit Lions vs San Francisco 49ers Goff proved he’s a weather warrior with 336 yards and three scores in chilly Chicago last week. Heading into another outdoor game, but this time with kinder conditions, Goff has posted an average of 29.5 fantasy points in his last three games. His arm has been on fire with 11 total touchdown passes in that span. Despite the 49ers presenting a challenge on paper, Goff’s consistency makes him a no-brainer start in championship week. Baker Mayfield, Tampa Bay Bucs vs Carolina Panthers After a disappointing outing against these same Panthers in Week 13, Mayfield has turned it around, amassing at least 25 fantasy points in his last three games. Hosting the Carolina Panthers at home this week, where they’ve been generous to opposing QBs, expect Mayfield to keep the heat on and deliver another strong performance. Check out where Baker Mayfield ranks in our Week 17 QB Rankings Sit ‘Em Kyler Murray, Arizona Cardinals vs LA Rams Murray managed a decent fantasy output against the Panthers, but his reliance on rushing for points has been inconsistent. The Rams have transformed into a defensive fortress since their last meeting with the Cardinals, making this a matchup to avoid for Murray. Running Backs Start ‘Em Bucky Irving, Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Carolina Panthers Irving is eating up defenses with his versatility, both running and catching. He’s scored at least 13 fantasy points in five of his last six games, and with the Panthers giving up the most rushing yards and touchdowns to running backs, he’s a must-start with championship-winning potential. Tyrone Tracy, NY Giants vs Indianapolis Colts Assuming Tracy shakes off his ankle injury, he’s a solid RB2 start. He’s been a dual-threat contributor with Drew Lock at QB, and the Colts have been leaky against the run, setting Tracy up for another productive game. Devin Singletary would also be a fine replacement if Tracy is held out. Sit ‘Em Brian Robinson, Washington Commanders vs Atlanta Falcons Robinson was sidelined by game script last week, and the Falcons defense has been surprisingly stingy against running backs, making him a risky play this week. Additionally, recent turnover struggles make Robinson a riskier proposition than we’d like to see on Championship Week. Rico Dowdle, Dallas Cowboys vs Philadelphia Eagles Dowdle’s performance has waned, and facing an Eagles defense that’s been one of the stingiest against the run, coupled with competition from Ezekiel Elliott at the goalline, suggests leaving him on the bench. Wide Receivers Start ‘Em Jayden Reed, Green Bay Packers vs Minnesota Vikings With Christian Watson out, Jayden Reed could see an uptick in targets against a Vikings secondary that’s been generous to wide receivers. He’s a start this week with potential upside. Courtland Sutton, Denver Broncos vs Cincinnati Bengals Sutton’s last couple of games were lackluster, but he’s due for a rebound. The Bengals have been vulnerable to receivers, setting up Sutton for a potentially big week. Sit ‘Em Amari Cooper, Buffalo Bills vs NY Jets Cooper’s involvement has drastically dropped in recent games, and the New York Jets defense has been a fortress against receivers, making him a high-risk start for your championship lineup. Jerry Jeudy, Cleveland Browns vs Miami Dolphins With Dorian Thompson-Robinson under center, Jeudy’s production has tanked. The Dolphins’ defense against receivers is formidable, making Jeudy a sit in most scenarios. Tight Ends Start ‘Em Hunter Henry, New England Patriots vs Los Angeles Chargers Despite last week’s TD coming in garbage time, Henry has been a reliable option for fantasy managers, particularly in the red zone. His consistent floor makes him a start. Payne Durham, Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Carolina Panthers Cade Otton has been ruled out. Durham will nab the start in his place and gets a superlative matchup. Facing the Panthers, who’ve been the second-most generous to tight ends, he’s a strong start in championship lineups. Also, he can be readily added off of waiver wires everywhere. Sit ‘Em Kyle Pitts, Atlanta Falcons vs Washington Commanders Pitts has been a fantasy letdown, with his recent performances not justifying a start. Even against a middle-of-the-pack defense like Washington, the risk outweighs the potential reward. Sam LaPorta, Detroit Lions vs San Francisco 49ers Despite recent success, the 49ers have been tough on tight ends, particularly at home. With the championship on the line, it might be wise to look elsewhere, even if it means making a tough call on LaPorta. ENTER OUR WEEK 17 DRAFT CONTEST!
