NFL Week 3 On the Mark: Elite Fantasy Football Prop Bets

NFL Week 3 On the Mark: Elite Fantasy Football Prop Bets Dive into NFL Week 3 elite fantasy football prop bets with expert picks like Lamar Jackson and Patrick Mahomes for maximum value! Written by former #1 Ranked Fantasy Player in the World, Mark Deming. QB Lamar Jackson 3+ TD passes (+180) The Monday Night Football matchup featuring the Lions and Ravens finds the highest listed point total for Week 3, at 53.5. Jackson enters the showdown fresh off a four-TD passing performance in the blowout win over Cleveland. The +180 alternative market is definitely within the star signal-caller’s range, and this game has the potential for a primetime shootout. Jackson has thrown 3+ passing touchdowns in 26 games in his career, 14 of which have taken place at home. The Lions have surrendered two TD passes to opposing QBs in each of their first two games, and I anticipate Jackson being locked in for this primetime matchup. QB Patrick Mahomes 40+ Rushing Yards (+189) Week 3 shockingly brings about a must-win situation for the struggling 0-2 Chiefs. Due to the ongoing suspension of star wide receiver Rashee Rice, Mahomes has been scrambling more frequently than usual. Through the first two games, Mahomes has racked up 123 rushing yards. The three-time Super Bowl MVP is the type of leader who puts everything on the line to secure a Chiefs victory. Since entering the league in 2017, the league’s most dangerous signal-caller has reached this plateau in 20 career games, including the postseason. After surpassing this demand in both games this season, let’s invest in Mahomes eclipsing the 40-yard mark for a third consecutive matchup. RB Jahmyr Gibbs 5+ Receptions (+173) Gibbs’ involvement in Detroit’s passing game has been just what fantasy managers envisioned when they invested high draft capital to land the coveted running back in drafts this summer. Through the first two weeks, he has hauled in 13 receptions, highlighted by an eye-popping 10 receptions in Week 1 against the Packers. Detroit’s newly revamped offensive line could face tough sledding against a strong Ravens’ pass rush on Monday night, potentially forcing Goff into a healthy dose of check down passes to Gibbs out of the backfield. Strategy Insight This week’s installment of the “On the Mark” series focuses on three elite fantasy football talents, who can all exceed their base productions. While all three of these highlighted players will obviously be in all starting lineups, a round robin investment could also prove to be quite lucrative.

NFL Week 3: Start ‘Em, Sit ‘Em: Tight Ends

NFL Week 3 Start Em Sit Em Tight Ends

Week 3 Starts and Sits – Tight Ends Dive into the Week 3 2025 tight end starts and sits to improve your fantasy football lineup with expert tips! Starts Jake Ferguson Jake Ferguson has quickly become a favorite of Dak Prescott, leading all tight ends with 12 targets in Week 2. Now he faces a Bears defense that has been shredded by TEs with an 83% completion rate allowed. Ferguson is a strong TE1 this week. Kyle Pitts Kyle Pitts is trending back into relevance at a position starved for production. Atlanta faces Carolina, which has been among the league’s worst at defending tight ends. With his role growing, Pitts slides into low-end TE1 status. Sits Evan Engram Evan Engram has been invisible with just six targets in two weeks, and even Adam Trautman outpaced him last Sunday. The Chargers have already slowed Travis Kelce and Brock Bowers, making Engram a clear bench option. Mark Andrews Mark Andrews is averaging just two catches and 3.5 yards per game, with scoring chances as his only saving grace. The Lions rarely allow tight ends to find the end zone and have given up just 51 yards to the position this year. Andrews is too touchdown-dependent to trust. NFL Week 3: Start ‘Em, Sit ‘Em: Wide Receivers

NFL Week 3 Start em Sit em Wide Receivers

NFL Week 3 Starts and Sits – Wide Receiver Explore the NFL Week 3 wide receiver starts and sits to strengthen your fantasy football lineup with expert advice! Starts Jakobi Meyers Jakobi Meyers has thrived with Geno Smith, hauling in 14 receptions for 165 yards on 22 targets across two games. He’s topped 12 PPR points each time and has now scored 13+ in four straight road outings. His volume keeps him locked in as a WR2. Rome Odunze Rome Odunze looks like Chicago’s top receiver. He’s drawn 20 targets to DJ Moore’s 11, leads in air yards, and has been the first read on a third of pass plays. With Dallas bleeding yards to wideouts, Odunze is firmly in must-start territory. Sits Travis Hunter Travis Hunter has seen 14 targets through two games but has managed only nine catches for 55 yards. With snaps still split between offense and defense, his usage is shaky, and he’s not trustworthy against Houston this week. Calvin Ridley Calvin Ridley has just 84 yards across two games and continues to be underused downfield. Against Indianapolis’ heavy zone coverage, he’s a risky play and falling down the WR ladder quickly. NFL Week 3: Start ‘Em, Sit ‘Em: Running backs

Week 3 NFL Start em Sit Em Running Backs

NFL Week 3 Starts and Sits – Running Back Check out the NFL Week 3 Running back starts and sits to enhance your fantasy football lineup with expert recommendations! Starts Jaylen Warren Jaylen Warren handled 58% of snaps and 14 carries in Week 2, also leading Pittsburgh in receiving yards. That’s key against New England, which has given up the third-most receiving yards to backs. With goal-line work in his favor, Warren is a strong Week 3 play. Isaiah Pacheco Isaiah Pacheco has been quiet so far, but Kansas City’s tough early matchups played a role. The Giants’ defense has already given up over 80 yards and a score to multiple running backs. In a softer matchup, Pacheco belongs in flex consideration. Sits David Montgomery David Montgomery remains touchdown-dependent, and Baltimore has allowed just one rushing score all season. With Detroit likely trailing, Jahmyr Gibbs should see more work, leaving Montgomery as a risky flex. RJ Harvey RJ Harvey has the talent but not the opportunity, logging only 31% of snaps and 13 touches. With J.K. Dobbins dominating carries and goal-line work, Harvey is an afterthought against a Chargers defense that’s stingy versus the run. NFL Week 3: Start ‘Em, Sit ‘Em: Quarterbacks

Week 3 QB Start Em Sit Em

Week 3 Starts and Sits – Quarterback Get the latest NFL Week 3 Quarterback starts and sits analysis to optimize your fantasy football lineup with expert insights! Starts Dak Prescott Dak Prescott rebounded in Week 2 with 361 yards, two scores, and 22 fantasy points after a quiet opener. He now draws a Bears defense that has surrendered a league-high seven passing touchdowns, the worst passer rating allowed, and the highest yards per attempt. Both J.J. McCarthy and Jared Goff topped 22 points against Chicago, putting Prescott in a prime spot. Caleb Williams Caleb Williams has been steady in fantasy, topping 20 points in both starts while averaging over 40 rushing yards per game. He now gets Dallas, which just allowed Russell Wilson to torch them for 450 yards and three touchdowns. With added rushing upside, this could be his biggest fantasy performance yet. Sits Trevor Lawrence Trevor Lawrence put up 25 fantasy points last week but still struggles with turnovers. Against Houston, he’s averaged just 16 points over his last seven healthy games, and the Texans have allowed fewer than 20 per game this season. He’s a sit outside of multi-QB formats. Matthew Stafford Matthew Stafford faces an Eagles defense that just held Dak Prescott and Patrick Mahomes under 200 yards combined. At 37, Stafford lacks the mobility that helped Mahomes salvage value. He’s a floor play at best and not worth the risk this week. Every week this season, I will be taking a look at players who not only offer immense value to those looking to invest in players outside of fantasy football, but also help fantasy managers lock in on players who may be flying under-the-radar on your bench or waiver wire. Let’s take a deeper dive into the best plus-money options in Week 3 of the 2025 season in comparison to our elite-winning Fulltime Fantasy Projections. Week 1 & 2 Performance WK 1🏈 ✅Brian Thomas Jr (+130) ✅C. Hubbard (+1.0) ✅J.K. Dobbins (+165) ✅Z. Charbonnet (+370) ✅I. Teslaa (+450) WK 1: 5-6 (+6.15 units) WK 2🏈 ✅T. Higgins +1.3 ✅K. Boutte +3.8 ✅N. Collins (+120) WK 2: 3-4 (+2.10 units) 🔥YTD: 8-11 (+8.45 units)📈 Top Values By The Projections WR Mike Evans +120 Fulltime Projection: 1.0 (75%) With star rookie wideout Emeka Egbuka (3 TDs) dealing with hip and groin injuries, expect Baker Mayfield to lean heavily on his star wide receiver in Week 3 against a Jets defense allowing the third-most passing touchdowns (4) through two games. Having scored 105 touchdowns in 170 career games (61.7%), time to invest in the 12-year veteran to score his first touchdown of 2025. Respected Money Note: Evans has scored 55 touchdowns in 83 games (66.3%) played at home. WR Nico Collins +125 Fulltime Projection: 0.75 (75%) After cashing for us in Week 2 against Tampa Bay, my Respected Money model projections say to “go back to the well” once again. With veteran wideout Christian Kirk expected to make his Texan’s debut, expect C.J. Stroud to find it easier to target his best receiving weapon against a Jaguars secondary fresh off allowing three scores to Bengals’ WRs in Week 2. Respected Money Note: In the last three meetings against the Jaguars, Nico Collins has hauled in 27 receptions for 374 and two touchdowns – (8 / 119 / 0, 12 / 151 / 1 & 7 / 104 / 1). WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba +130 Fulltime Projection: 1.0 (100%) If you invested high draft capital on JSN it is paying major dividends through the first two weeks of the season. Smith-Njigba is the clear focal point of the Seahawks’ aerial attack with insane metrics: target share (44.2%) and air yards share (57.5%). JSN has yet to hit pay dirt, but the data strongly indicates it could be coming in Week 3 against a Saints defense that has allowed opposing WR1’s to score in consecutive weeks (M. Harrison, WK1; J. Jennings, WK2). Respected Money Note: 5 of 6 touchdowns (62.5%) in his rookie season in 2024 came in the friendly confines of Lumen Field. Top Moonshots That Could Lead To Glory WR Rome Odunze +155 Fulltime Projection: 1.0 (75%) If you predicted that Odunze would be the overall WR4 in FFWC Main Event high stakes formats after two weeks, take a bow. After an impressive 94% snap percentage, the talented wideout followed that up with an eye-popping 100.0% snap rate in Week 2 against the Lions – while fellow wideout D.J. Moore only witnessed 88%. Respected Money Note: With a 29.9% target share, it is imperative we invest in a player at healthy plus-odds who has scored in each game this season (3 total TDs) – in a matchup that owns the highest point total (50.5) on the Sunday slate! TE Tucker Kraft +190 Fulltime Projection: 0.50 (50%) Kraft is quietly the overall TE1 in fantasy football with an impressive production of 8 receptions for 140 yards and two touchdowns through the first two weeks of the season. With star WR Jayden Reed going down, the 91% snap percentage, combined with the 72% route rate, and 22.4% target share results in a player who offers value at close to 2-1 odds. Respected Money Note: Kraft has scored 5 of his 9 career touchdowns on the road, and will now face a Browns defense that has surrendered 5 passing touchdowns through the first two weeks of 2025. TE Zach Ertz +240 Fulltime Projection: 0.5 (50%) Ertz is off to a sensational start to the season, sitting as the overall TE3 in FFWC high-stakes leagues, averaging 15 PPR points per game. As we know, QB Jayden Daniels is questionable due to an ankle injury, but a deeper dive says fantasy managers should not be worried about that resulting in any decline in the veteran tight end’s production. Ertz scored in both games with backup Marcus Mariota under center for the Commanders (5/44/1; 4/40/1) in 2024. Respected Money Note: In two seasons with Washington, Ertz has scored 6 of his 9 touchdowns (67%) in front of the home faithful at Northwest Stadium.
