Week 8 Start/Sit: Wide Receivers

NFL Week 8 Start/Sit: Wide Receivers

Week 8 Start/Sit: Wide Receivers Wide receiver decisions can swing your fantasy football matchup in Week 8. Here’s who to start and sit at WR based on targets, matchups, and trends. Written by Adam Krautwurst STARTS Tee Higgins is thriving with Joe Flacco, racking up 11 catches for 158 yards and a touchdown over two games. With the Jets possibly missing Sauce Gardner, Higgins and Ja’Marr Chase could feast. He’s a confident WR2 start in Week 8. Wan’Dale Robinson has clicked with Jaxson Dart, commanding a 26% target share and averaging 90 yards and 18 fantasy points over two weeks. A potential shootout makes him a strong WR3 with upside. SITS DJ Moore is mired in a five-game slump under 50 yards, with one touchdown all season. Even with Baltimore’s favorable matchup, Rome Odunze is the Bears’ WR to trust. Moore’s a WR3 at best. Marquise Brown has faded in Kansas City, with Rashee Rice and Xavier Worthy taking targets. Limited snaps and Travis Kelce’s presence make him a bench candidate. Week 8 Start/Sit: Quarterbacks

NFL Week 8 Start/Sit: Quarterbacks

Week 8 Start/Sit: Quarterbacks Week 8 is here, and the fantasy landscape is heating up. With injuries, bye weeks, and matchups shaping decisions, here’s your guide to quarterback starts and sits. Written by Adam Krautwurst STARTS Joe Flacco has been a revelation for Cincinnati. In two starts, he’s thrown five touchdowns with zero interceptions, including a 342-yard, three-score outing against Pittsburgh for a QB6 finish. His connection with Ja’Marr Chase (23 targets, 161 yards, one TD last week) is electric. Facing a Jets defense in the bottom half against QBs, potentially without Sauce Gardner, Flacco is a strong QB2 with top-10 upside in Week 8’s high-scoring projection. Caleb Williams stumbled in Week 7 with 4.7 fantasy points against New Orleans, but he’s still a QB1. He’s hit 20 points in four of six games, and Baltimore’s defense allows the second-most fantasy points to quarterbacks, with three QBs topping 35 against them. Williams has a prime bounce-back opportunity. SITS Tua Tagovailoa is reeling, with six interceptions and just 305 yards over his last two games. Atlanta’s second-ranked defense against quarterbacks makes this a brutal matchup. Fade Tua in one-QB leagues. Jordan Love has been too inconsistent, failing to clear 16 points in three of his last four games. Green Bay’s run-heavy goal-line approach limits his ceiling, even against Pittsburgh. Keep him benched. RB Start em Sit em WR Start em Sit em TE Start em Sit em

Week 8 Start/Sit: Running Backs

NFL Week 8 Start/Sit: Running Backs

Week 8 Start/Sit: Running Backs Week 8 brings critical running back decisions for fantasy football. With game scripts and matchups in focus, here’s who to start and sit at RB to win your matchup. Written by Adam Krautwurst STARTS Isiah Pacheco has taken over Kansas City’s backfield, outpacing Kareem Hunt with a season-high 15 rushes and his first touchdown last week. Washington’s middle-of-the-pack run defense sets up Pacheco for 15-plus touches in a high-scoring game. He’s a solid RB2 with top-15 potential. J.K. Dobbins remains Denver’s lead back, topping 80 yards in four games with consistent touches. The Cowboys allow big plays and fantasy points to running backs, making Dobbins a dependable RB2 with a safe floor and upside. SITS Jacory Croskey-Merritt gets steady volume, but Washington’s likely to trail Kansas City, capping his rushes. With minimal receiving work and a tough matchup, he’s outside RB2 range. Alvin Kamara is struggling with career-low efficiency, and Tampa Bay has contained him in recent games. At 30, his diminished burst makes him a risky flex in Week 8. FullTime Fantasy: Week 7 Injury Report & Week 8 Waiver Radar

Mike Evans Injury Week 7

FullTime Fantasy: Week 7 Injury Report & Waiver Radar FullTime Fantasy reviews the biggest injuries from Week 7 and headlines the top targets on the waiver wire for Week 8 of fantasy football. Written by Duke Deming Week 7 Injury Report Jayden Daniels (QB – WAS) Taken out during the third quarter of Week 7 with a hamstring injury and did not return. No official update, but expect the quarterback to be sidelined at least one week. Marcus Mariota will be under center during his absence. Bryce Young (QB – CAR) Suffered a high ankle sprain in Week 7 win against New York Jets. Will miss Week 8 game and there is a chance he misses more time. Andy Dalton will take over at quarterback during Young’s absence. Lamar Jackson (QB – BAL) Missed two consecutive games before the Week 7 bye. Jackson is expected to return to the field during Week 8 versus the Bears. Bucky Irving (RB – TB) Out for Monday night’s game versus the Lions with a foot and shoulder injury. Looks like the running back could miss more time. Rachaad White will remain the lead back during Irving’s absence. Kendre Miller (RB – NO) During the first half of Sunday’s contest against Chicago, Miller left with a knee injury and was later ruled out. Imaging performed shortly after confirmed the worst — a torn ACL. He will miss the remainder of the 2025 season. Josh Jacobs (RB – GB) Played through an illness and calf injury in Week 7. Jacobs had a productive game with two touchdowns, but continue to monitor his status if you have him in fantasy. Not expected to miss any time. Garrett Wilson (WR – NYJ) Missed Week 7 with a knee injury. The Jets have still not won a game this season and most likely will not rush Wilson back to the field. Expect him to miss more time. Brian Thomas Jr. (WR – JAX) Left Week 7 early with a shoulder injury. If he is forced to miss any time, Travis Hunter will step up as the WR1 in the offense. Brock Bowers (TE – LV) Missed Week 7 as he continues to battle knee injury. The Raiders have a Week 8 bye, and the tight end is expected to return in Week 9. Darren Waller (TE – MIA) Taken out of Week 7 game early with a pectoral injury. He is considered week-to-week and will most likely miss time. Mike Evans (WR – TB) Suffered a broken clavicle and is going to miss most of the remainder of the 2025 season, head coach Todd Bowles announced Monday night. Nico Collins (WR – HOU) Collins was ruled out of the game vs. the Seahawks with a concussion, so expect normal concussion protocols.   Week 8 Waiver Wire Radar 1. Joe Flacco (QB- CIN) Posted 342 passing yards and 3 touchdowns in Week 7. Flacco has the offensive stars to continue this fantasy production. Has a favorable matchup versus New York Jets in Week 8. 2. Marcus Mariota (QB – WAS) Jayden Daniels is expected to miss time with his hamstring injury. Mariota posted 36 fantasy points during his two starts in Week 3 and 4. He is a viable option at quarterback during Daniel’s absence. 3. Tyjae Spears (RB – TEN) Spears was involved in the receiving game in Week 7. As the Titans continue to play themselves into passing game scripts, Spears could find himself on the field more than starter Tony Pollard. 4. Chimere Dike (WR – TEN) Dike had 4 catches for 70 yards and a touchdown in Week 7. He led the way in the receiving game during Calvin Ridley’s absence. 5. Kayshon Boutte (WR – NE) 32% rostered Boutte had another solid game with 55 receiving yards and a touchdown. He continues to be a big-play threat for the Patriots. Has fantasy upside for wide receiver depth. 6. Josh Downs (WR – IND) Keep an eye out if Downs was dropped to the waiver wire after missing Week 7 with a concussion. He should return next week for the Colts and continue to play an impact role in the offense. 7. Noah Fant (TE – CIN) Had 4 catches for 44 yards and a touchdown in Week 7. Tight end Mike Gesicki is expected to miss more time with a pectoral injury, and Fant should continue to see an increased volume during his absence. 8. Tez Johnson (WR – TB) Still only 18% owned. Look for Johnson to remain a mainstay in the offense moving forward. 9. Brashard Smith (RB – KC) Smith, a receiver turned running back, should remain a significant part of this passing game. 10. Oronde Gadsden (TE – LAC) Still just 2% rostered, absurdly dominant on Sunday, 7 for 164 and a TD. He’s seen at least 7 targets in two others contests. 11. Devin Neal (RB – NO) Neal, a rookie, will now serve as Kamara’s lead backup. Kamara is a step slower this season so Neal is an intriguing stash on a bad team. Week 8 Byes: AZ, DET, JAX, LV, LA, SEA

On the Mark: Week 7 NFL O/U Prop Picks

On The Mark: Best Prop Bets

On the Mark: Week 7 NFL O/U Prop Picks Let’s get into Week 7 “On the Mark” with zero hesitations. My strategy this week involves four emerging players where the plus lines are attractive enough to attack the number. Below you’ll find two WRs and two QBs primed to hit their plus numbers in Week 7. Written by Mark Deming, former #1 ranked player in the world Let’s dive right in! WR George Pickens over 5.5 receptions +220 Pickens’ game logs over a five game span are eye opening: including six TDs, two 130 plus yard receiving games and 50 plus yards receiving in all five games. We must factor in the return of CD Lamb to a certain degree but I would calculate Pickens for five plus catches at home coming off a nine catch game even as WR2. Prescott has always fed multiple mouths and the +220 offering is a calculated risk based on the matchup vs the Commanders. Through Six weeks Cowboys games are averaging 60.33 ppg. QB Drake Maye over 30.5 rushing yards +155 Speaking of streaking players who are heating up enter second year QB Drake Maye into the equation. Maye is getting his confident legs underneath him, entering Week 7 he’s averaging 23 rushing yards per game. With Steffon Diggs a little banged up and a revenge game for Head coach Mike Vrabel look for Maye to extend play with his legs and run more after last week’s 28 rushing yard performance that led to a road win for the Pats. QB Patrick Mahomes over 2.5 passing TDs +160 The former NFL MVP found his groove last week and gets a mediocre Vegas Raiders defense and the return of Rashee Rice. According to multiple media reports Rice may have been the most dominant player in camp prior to his suspension. Rice will be featured and allow the other KC skill position players the opportunity to flourish as defenses will have to pick their poison. Mahomes has 33 TD passes in 14 career games vs the silver and black. WR Amon-Ra St. Brown over 7.5 receptions +125 In three career games against the Buccaneers, Amon-Ra St. Brown has 33 receptions for 320 yards and 2 touchdowns. His stats include 23 catches for 243 yards and one touchdown in two regular season games, plus 8 catches for 77 yards and one touchdown in a playoff game. In two home games St. Brown is averaging 9 receptions. As always, we will be backing these recommendations in the form of a Round Robin. Unlike other forms of an investment, this is not an all-or-nothing play. In fact, this is a solid form of bankroll protection, simply due to offering lucrative returns in the face of one of the players underperforming and failing to reach the desired projections.

Week 7 Start/Sit: Tight Ends

NFL Week 7 Start Sit: Tight Ends

Week 7 Start/Sit: Tight Ends Week 7 is here, and the fantasy landscape is starting to stabilize — or completely unravel, depending on your roster. With injuries piling up and bye weeks creating chaos, finding the right start/sit edge can make all the difference. Written by Adam Krautwurst STARTS Harold Fannin Jr. stepped up in David Njoku’s absence, leading the Browns in routes, targets, and receptions last week. If Njoku remains sidelined, Fannin projects for another heavy workload against a Miami defense that ranks bottom-10 versus tight ends. He’s a strong plug-and-play option. Darren Waller has become a red-zone favorite in Miami, scoring four touchdowns in three games. He’s leading the team in end-zone targets and now faces a Browns defense that’s allowed the third-most scores to TEs. His role and scoring potential make him a weekly starter. SITS T.J. Hockenson has provided minimal upside, topping 10 points just once and averaging under six targets per game since Jordan Addison’s return. The Eagles have allowed the third-fewest fantasy points to tight ends, making Hockenson a fade in this matchup. Juwan Johnson’s target share has collapsed, with just nine total looks over the last three games. With Taysom Hill stealing snaps and Kamara dominating short routes, Johnson’s ceiling and floor are both too low to justify starting. QB Start em Sit em RB Start em Sit em WR Start em Sit em

Week 7 Start/Sit: Wide Receivers

NFL Week 7 Start Sit: Wide Receivers

Week 7 Start/Sit: Wide Receivers Week 7 is here, and the fantasy landscape is starting to stabilize — or completely unravel, depending on your roster. With injuries piling up and bye weeks creating chaos, finding the right start/sit edge can make all the difference. Written by Adam Krautwurst STARTS Chris Olave continues to deliver steady numbers, recording at least 12 PPR points in four of six outings and averaging double-digit targets across his last two. The Bears have struggled against receivers, allowing five to clear 13 points this season. Olave remains a dependable WR2, especially in PPR formats. Courtland Sutton has been feast or famine, but the setup leans toward another “feast” week. The Giants have given up the third-most fantasy points to wideouts, including major damage to perimeter receivers — exactly where Sutton lines up most. His big-play ability makes him a worthwhile start. SITS Jakobi Meyers’ snap and route rates remain elite, but Geno Smith’s inconsistency has tanked his production. Meyers hasn’t topped 40 yards since Week 3 and faces a Chiefs defense giving up just 192 passing yards per game. He’s better left out of lineups this week. DeVonta Smith has been volatile, alternating between big plays and quiet outings. The Vikings have been stingy against outside receivers, allowing the fewest deep completions and only one top-15 WR performance all year. Smith’s boom-or-bust profile makes him a risky start.
