Injury Report: Week 15

Injury Report: Week 15 Congratulations on making it to the fantasy football playoffs. Staying abreast of the latest injury news and how it impacts your roster is more important than ever. Our Injury Report: Week 15 will update you on the latest NFL injury news. Also, bookmarking our NFL Injury Report is a great way to stay updated on the latest injuries. Finally, FullTime Fantasy Members will get the latest NFL injury news and advice live each Sunday and Thursday in the FullTime Fantasy Discord. Click below to join us today! George Pickens (WR) Pittsburgh Steelers – Pickens suffered a Grade 2 hamstring strain in practice last Friday. He missed Week 14 and his practice status will need to be monitored this week. Proactive fantasy managers should plan to be without Pickens this week. Kenneth Walker (RB) Seattle Seahawks – A calf injury caused Walker to miss last week. It’s worrisome that the Seahawks are seeking more tests to determine the severity of the ailment. If Walker misses another week, Zach Charbonnet offers league-winning upside. Isaac Guerendo (RB) San Francisco 49ers – Another week, another injured San Francisco running back. There is some hope that Guerendo can play this week. However, with the Niners due up on Thursday, it will be tough. UPDATE: Guerendo did NOT practice Tuesday. 49ers HC Kyle Shanahan said RB Isaac Guerendo has a foot sprain and the team will “evaluate him over the next few days, to see if he’ll have a shot” to play Thursday night versus the Rams. — Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) December 9, 2024 Bucky Irving (RB) Tampa Bay Buccaneers – A back injury forced Irving to miss most of Sunday’s win. Irving is questionable to play in Week 15 but his practice participation will be telling. For now, we don’t expect Irving to play, which will increase the touches for Rachaad White and Sean Tucker. Ladd McConkey (WR) Los Angeles Chargers – A shoulder injury resulted in McConkey missing Sunday night’s game with the Chiefs. However, there were reports that it was a minor injury and McConkey was close to playing. We will update his availability throughout the week. Jonathon Brooks (RB) Carolina Panthers – Unfortunately, Brooks tore the same ACL that he injured last year. This will end his rookie season and undoubtedly will cause him to miss at least half of 2025. Derek Carr (QB) New Orleans Saints – Carr broke his left (non-throwing) hand and is expected to miss several weeks. His absence will hurt the Saints’ offense. Zamir White (RB) Las Vegas Raiders – The Raiders put Whtie (quad) on IR, ending his fantasy season. Dalton Kincaid (TE) Buffalo Bills – Kincaid (knee) was able to practice in a limited capacity last week, so there is growing optimism that he will return to action in Week 15 in Detroit. Will Dissly (TE) Los Angeles Chargers – Dissly will miss multiple weeks with a shoulder injury. Stone Smartt will see a boost in opportunities while Dissly is sidelined. Romeo Doubs (WR) Green Bay Packers – Doubs is still in the NFL’s concussion protocol. Cedric Tillman (WR) Cleveland Browns – Tillman also remains in the league’s concussion protocol. Keon Coleman (WR) Buffalo Bills – A wrist injury forced Coleman to miss another game but he is “trending in the right direction” for the fantasy playoffs. Demarcus Robinson (WR) Los Angeles Rams – A shoulder sprain is likely to cause Robinson to miss Thursday’s game. Aidan O’Connell (QB) Las Vegas Raiders – Good news: O’Connell was diagnosed with a bone bruise after he was carted off the field in Week 14. However, Antonio Pierce has already named Desmond Ridder as the Raider’s Week 15 starter, so O’Connell will miss at least one week. Raheem Blackshear (RB) Carolina Panthers – Day-to-day with a chest injury.   ENTER OUR WEEK 15 DRAFT CONTEST! How it Works: Firstly, draft your team using our On-Demand Simulator. Circa Survivor Report: Week 14

Circa Survivor Report: Week 14 CIRCA SURVIVOR WEEK 14: FAVORITES WIN AT 77% CLIP In Circa’s Survivor contest, Week 14 proved to be a very straightforward slate once again as favorites continued their dominance.FullTime Fantasy‘s Circa Survivor Report: Week 14 breaks down the results and previews this week’s slate.  Overall, favorites posted a solid mark of 10-3 Straight-up (SU) which resulted in only one remaining Circa Survivor contestant witnessing their quest come to an end.    We won!@net_acr | #JAXvsTEN pic.twitter.com/PSuZDNf80K — Jacksonville Jaguars (@Jaguars) December 8, 2024   One entrant was left in despair when the Titans lost 10-6 to the Mac Jones-led Jaguars in the lowest-scoring game in the NFL this season. Tennessee had a chance to win the game at the end but failed to convert on fourth-and-3 with 1:15 left in the game when Will Levis couldn’t connect with Nick Westbrook-Ikhine in the back right corner of the endzone.   Earned it. pic.twitter.com/bt9uny4qGq — Miami Dolphins (@MiamiDolphins) December 8, 2024   The biggest sweat for four contestants involved the AFC East tilt between the surging Dolphins and the disappointing Jets.  Miami, who closed as 6.5-point favorites against Gang Green, escaped with a 32-26 overtime win.  The Jets postseason drought officially extended to 14 seasons after Jonnu Smith hauled in a nine-yard touchdown – capping a 70-yard drive in eight plays in the extra session.   Cincinnati brings it home on MNF, so nothing changes Circa Survivor wise! 1 elimination all week! The Circa Survivor contest is a grueling contest that forces entrants to pick one winner every week, with no spread with one pivotal caveat. Waiver Wire: Week 15

Waiver Wire: Week 15 The 2024 season will go down as one of the most challenging campaigns on record. Reading a Waiver Wire: Week 15 piece means you’ve survived the gauntlet and made the playoffs. Congratulations! You deserve major credit for overcoming all the obstacles this season presented. Making the playoffs is a major accomplishment. However, now is not the time to overthink. Especially in terms of reinforcing a roster that was good enough to survive a crazy 14 weeks. Stick with what has been working and who got you here. But, if you need to reinforce your roster for the tournament, our Waiver Wire: Week 15 has you covered. Along with knowing who to pick up, FullTime Fantasy‘s Matchup Analyzer Tool will help you get the most out of your lineup. Week 15 BYES: NONE Sincere McCormick (RB) Las Vegas Raiders – McCormick got his second straight start and looked good. He has averaged over five yards per carry in all three games. In Week 14, he logged 18 opportunities, resulting in 10.9 PPR points. The potential return of Alexander Mattison complicates the Raiders’ backfield. However, McCormick has played well enough to retain a significant role. Ray-Ray McCloud (WR) Atlanta Falcons – With another 11 targets, McCloud scored a season-high 18.1 fantasy points on Sunday. He has now surpassed 10 fantasy points in four of his last five outings. The Falcons are still playing for the NFC South title and McCloud will see plenty of favorable game scripts, including this week’s tilt with the lowly Raiders. Subsequently, McCloud is one of the top wideouts to add and is still widely un-rostered. Tank Bigsby (RB) Jacksonville Jaguars – Bigsby logged double-digit carries for the first time since Week 8, resulting in 62 scrimmage yards and a touchdown. The Jaguars are just playing through the motions at this point, so Bigsby will have ample opportunities in the final month of the season. Quentin Johnston & Josh Palmer (WR) Los Angeles Chargers – With Ladd McConkey ailing, LA’s Week 14 offense ran through the team’s No. 2 and No. 3 receivers. Johnston has posted several solid performances and now has a team-high seven TDs. Meanwhile, Palmer filled in for McConkey, running 72% of his routes out of the slot and catching 6-of-9 targets for 78 yards. At this point, Johnston is an every-week flex option. However, if McConkey misses another game, Palmer becomes an intriguing option against a Tampa secondary allowing the eighth-most fantasy points to enemy wideouts. Juwan Johnson (TE) New Orleans Saints – Johnson looks like he will be the main benefactor of Taysom Hill’s season-ending injury. However, with Derek Carr now out, Johnson’s role is unsettled. Therefore, he’s more of a middling TE2 to target with a speculative FAB bid. Tim Patrick (WR) Detroit Lions – Patrick has now produced three quality starts in a row. He’s locked into the WR3 role and this week’s matchup with the Bills looks like a potential shootout. Therefore, Patrick is on the WR4/flex radar. Isaiah Davis (RB) New York Jets – I wouldn’t be surprised to see the Jets shut Breece Hall down. Should that be the plan, the Jets would employ a committee backfield with Davis and Braelon Allen. Davis has more pass-catching upside and is widely un-rostered. Patrick Taylor (RB) San Francisco 49ers – It sounds like Issac Guerendo avoided a serious injury. However, proactive fantasy managers should add Taylor as insurance. Kendre Miller (RB) New Orleans Saints – Playing for the first time since being activated from IR, Miller looked good on Sunday. He forced four missed tackles in 10 carries and scored his first touchdown. He’s a must-add for fantasy managers who roster Alvin Kamara. Grant Calcaterra (TE) Philadelphia Eagles – Dallas Goedert was placed on Injured Reserve so Calcaterra will fill in as Philly’s starter for the rest of the season. Tight end has been a disaster, so Calcaterra offers TE2 value on a week-to-week basis. Jalen McMillian (WR) Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Don’t overreact to McMillian’s two-score day. Before Week 14, he hadn’t topped 50 yards all season. He is worth a minimal bid as a WR5/depth play. Teammate Sterling Shepard makes more sense as a waiver wire: Week 15 add and is more likely to fly under the radar after McMillian’s two-score outing. Mike Williams (WR) Pittsburgh Steelers – Williams filled in for George Pickens and snagged 3-of-4 targets. I don’t expect Pickens to miss significant time and Williams isn’t anywhere near that caliber of receiver. Still, Pickens managers may want to throw out a speculative bid on Williams as a potential replacement in a tough spot versus the Eagles. Desmond Ridder (QB) Las Vegas Raiders – Revenge game narrative. As luck would have it, the next man up in Vegas just happens to play his former team in his first start. The Vikings pummeled Atlanta in Week 14. However, Ridder isn’t anywhere near that caliber of thrower and did not look good in relief versus Tampa. Ridder is merely a bottom-5 Superflex option for teams that injuries have pummeled. Finally, check your IR-Eligible list for a couple of players to stash for the playoffs, Marquise Brown and Tyler Higbee. Week 14 NFL Player Props

Week 14 NFL Player Props For the fifth consecutive week, we had a .500 record (5-5). We lost .75 Units and are now at +3.25 Units as we enter the home stretch of the regular season. Despite still being in the green, it’s time for us to catch fire like the first few weeks of the campaign with Week 14 NFL Player Props. Remember to always odds shop at your different sportsbooks to find the best value for these props. With that in mind, let’s get down to business and find the best Week 14 NFL Player Props! Geno Smith UNDER 1.5 Passing Touchdowns (-115) I’m taking the under on Geno Smith’s passing touchdowns this week. Why? Because the numbers don’t lie, and they’re stacking up against the Seahawks quarterback. First, let’s talk about Geno. Sure, he’s racking up the passing yards—he’s among the NFL’s best in that department. But when it comes to turning those yards into touchdowns, it’s been a struggle. In 12 games this season, Geno has thrown just 13 passing touchdowns, with only five of those coming on the road. He’s managed multiple touchdown games just twice this year, and last season wasn’t much different—20 touchdowns in 15 games. So, this isn’t a fluke; it’s a pattern. Now, let’s flip the script and talk about the Arizona Cardinals‘ defense, because wow, they’ve been bringing the heat. Over the past six games, the Cardinals have allowed only four total passing touchdowns. Even more impressive? At home, they’ve pitched a defensive shutout in three straight games—no passing touchdowns, no rushing touchdowns, nothing. In fact, across six home games this year, they’ve given up just three passing touchdowns total. Put it all together, and the data points to one conclusion: this under is a smart play. Sure, betting unders can be nerve-wracking, but with Geno’s trends and Arizona’s defensive dominance, I feel good about this one. Sam Darnold 250+ Passing Yards (+100) Let’s clear something up right now: the Atlanta Falcons’ pass defense didn’t suddenly turn into the Legion of Boom last week. Sure, they held the Chargers to just 147 passing yards and racked up five sacks, but let’s be real—that’s more about the Chargers’ offensive line struggles than Atlanta figuring out how to rush the passer. For context, those five sacks accounted for one-third of Atlanta’s season total! This is still a defense that ranks 27th in pressure rate and 22nd in passing yards allowed per game. In the four games before the Chargers hiccup, they gave up 307, 269, 248 (with a backup QB taking over mid-game), and 330 passing yards. So, yeah, they’re not exactly locking anyone down. This Sunday, the Falcons face the Minnesota Vikings, who have: The third-best pass-block win rate in the league. A trio of elite pass-catchers in Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison, and T.J. Hockenson. Enter Vikings QB Sam Darnold, who’s averaged 263 passing yards per game over the last seven weeks. His standard passing yards line is as low as 242.5, but here’s where it gets fun: FanDuel is offering 250+ yards at even money. That’s a juicy spot for a QB going up against a defense as toothless as Atlanta’s pass rush. Darnold is at his worst when he’s under heavy pressure, but guess what? The Falcons don’t bring that heat. With time in the pocket and his playmakers creating mismatches, Darnold is set up for a big day. Atlanta’s pass defense has been a liability all season, and one good game doesn’t erase the trend. Pair that with a red-hot Vikings passing attack, and the Over on an alternate total for Darnold’s passing yards feels like a slam dunk. Hammer the 250+ yards at even money and watch Darnold carve up the Falcons! Will Levis OVER 208.5 Passing Yards (-110) Since returning from injury, Levis has been quietly impressive. Over his last three starts, he’s averaged 261 passing yards, 8.51 yards per attempt, and 1.66 passing touchdowns. Even after a rough start last week against Washington, he managed to recover with respectable numbers, keeping the game semi-competitive. That resilience speaks volumes about his potential, especially in favorable matchups. Levis gets a dream scenario this week, facing a Jacksonville defense that has struggled mightily against the pass. The Jags are allowing a league-worst 8.6 yards per attempt, and things could get worse if their top cornerback, Tyson Campbell, sits out with a thigh injury (he missed Wednesday’s practice). Without Campbell, Jacksonville’s secondary has been a liability, as evidenced by some huge performances early in the season. For example, back in Week 4, Nico Collins torched them for a 12-151-1 stat line. If Campbell doesn’t suit up, Levis and Calvin Ridley could do some serious damage in this spot. And while Ridley is the obvious go-to, Levis has more weapons in his arsenal than you might think. Chig Okonkwo, a dynamic and underrated athlete, recently flashed his big-play ability with a 70-yard catch-and-run touchdown against Houston. He’s a high-upside target this week. Meanwhile, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine keeps flying under the radar despite his size and effectiveness, especially downfield and in the red zone. Defenses are sleeping on him, and Levis knows how to take advantage. Here’s the kicker: Jacksonville has only held one team to fewer than 220 passing yards all season (Deshaun Watson in Week 2). Levis, on the other hand, has topped his projected passing line in three straight games. If this game stays competitive—and it should—Levis has a fantastic chance to hit the over on his opening passing yardage line. I’d take it up to 211.5 yards. For even more fun, consider sprinkling on his alternate lines and anytime TD props for his receivers. The matchup and recent trends make this a must-watch spot for Levis! Josh Allen OVER 27.5 Rushing Yards (-115) Josh Allen is doing Josh Allen things yet again this season, vaulting himself into the thick of the NFL MVP race with his lethal dual-threat abilities. Now, as the Buffalo Bills head to Los

Fantasy Football Start ‘Em Sit ‘Em Week 14

Fantasy Football Start ‘Em Sit ‘Em Week 14 With the playoffs looming, Week 14 might be the most critical slate of the fantasy football season, especially with six teams on a bye. Every lineup decision could make or break your championship dreams, and the margins for error are razor-thin. FullTime’s Fantasy Football Start ‘Em Sit ‘Em Week 14 will help you make the right choices this week. Week 14 is pivotal; navigating these start/sit decisions can make all the difference. Prioritize players with favorable matchups and avoid tempting options facing daunting defenses. Good luck securing your playoff spot! Subsequently, our Fantasy Football Start ‘Em Sit ‘Em Week 14 will help you navigate that turbulence to pick a winning lineup this week. Additionally, FullTime Fantasy has some of the top tools of the trade and accurate rankings. Quarterbacks  Start ‘Em Sam Darnold, Minnesota Vikings vs. Falcons Sam Darnold has quietly evolved into one of the most reliable fantasy QBs this season. Since Week 2, he’s topped 18 fantasy points in all but three contests.. Over his past six games, he’s thrown multiple touchdowns in five, adding a modest rushing boost with an average of 20 yards per game—equivalent to a valuable 50 passing yards. This week, Darnold faces an Atlanta Falcons defense that ranks among the top eight in passing touchdowns allowed. He’s a steady, high-floor option in a week lacking many dependable quarterback plays. Will Levis, Tennessee Titans vs. Jaguars Will Levis struggled early in the season, facing some of the NFL’s toughest pass defenses. After missing time due to injury, he’s looked steady since returning in Week 10, averaging 17.3 fantasy points per game over the past month. While that may seem average, it’s worth noting that Levis hasn’t yet had the luxury of facing a bottom-tier defense—until now. The Jaguars have allowed the most fantasy points to QBs this year, with a league-low coverage grade. Nearly every quarterback to face Jacksonville has thrown for at least 220 yards, and most have added multiple scores. Levis carries some risk due to a lack of ceiling games, but this matchup sets the stage for a potential breakout. Sit ‘Em Tua Tagovailoa, Miami Dolphins vs. Jets Tua Tagovailoa has been on fire in recent weeks, but the New York Jets defense is an entirely different beast. They’ve allowed the second-fewest passing yards and just nine passing touchdowns this season, the lowest in the league. Tua’s struggles against New York are well-documented, with just one touchdown pass and fewer than 250 passing yards in each of his two matchups last year. This is not the week to trust him in your starting lineup. Kyler Murray, Arizona Cardinals vs. Seahawks Kyler Murray hasn’t looked like himself in recent weeks, and Week 14 presents another tough challenge. The Seahawks have held opposing quarterbacks to just eight passing touchdowns over their past six games while forcing seven interceptions. Murray struggled against Seattle in Week 12, scoring just 10.3 fantasy points. Given the matchup, he’s a low-end option at best this week. Running Backs Start ‘Em Isaac Guerendo, San Francisco 49ers vs. Bears With Christian McCaffrey and Jordan Mason sidelined for the foreseeable future, Isaac Guerendo is the next man up in San Francisco. While the team bolstered their depth by claiming Israel Abanikanda and signing Ke’Shawn Vaughn to the practice squad, Guerendo is set to handle the majority of work in Week 14. The Bears boast a strong run defense on paper but have allowed enough explosive plays to rank in the bottom eight for rushing yards allowed. With the 49ers as home favorites, expect Guerendo to see a ton of carries and have a chance to break off a few big runs. Tony Pollard, Tennessee Titans vs. Jaguars Tony Pollard’s recent performances have been underwhelming, scoring fewer than 10.3 PPR points in three of his last four outings. However, he’s primed for a bounce-back in Week 14 against Jacksonville. The Jaguars rank second in most fantasy points allowed to opposing running backs, surrendering over 740 yards and six total touchdowns to backfields in their last four games. Pollard has struggled against tough defenses this year, but this matchup is a golden opportunity for him to get back on track. Consider him a must-start. Sit ‘Em Chuba Hubbard, Carolina Panthers vs. Eagles Chuba Hubbard has been a steady presence in Carolina’s backfield, but Week 14 brings a tough test. The Eagles’ run defense ranks among the league’s best, allowing the fifth-fewest fantasy points to running backs. They’ve been especially stingy in recent weeks, giving up only four touchdowns to the position all season. Hubbard’s workload has also taken a hit, with just 12 carries for 43 yards and no targets in Week 13. With Jonathon Brooks emerging as a factor in the backfield and a likely negative game script against the Eagles, Hubbard is best left on your bench. Gus Edwards, Los Angeles Chargers vs. Chiefs The “Gus Bus” hit a speed bump in Week 13, playing just 52% of snaps and managing a meager seven touches for 33 yards. Without J.K. Dobbins, Edwards hasn’t capitalized on increased opportunities, and he faces a brutal matchup this week against the Chiefs. Kansas City has allowed the fewest fantasy points to running backs this season, including a league-low rate of explosive runs. With limited volume and little chance of finding the end zone, Edwards isn’t a viable option in Week 14. Wide Receivers Start ‘Em Deebo Samuel, San Francisco 49ers vs. Bears It’s been a rough stretch for Deebo Samuel, who has dealt with injuries and poor production, logging fewer than 25 receiving yards in three straight games. With Christian McCaffrey sidelined, however, Samuel should see a significant uptick in targets and rushing opportunities. His short-yardage role makes him a great fit against the Bears’ zone-heavy defense, which ranks seventh in zone coverage frequency. Look for Deebo to regain his fantasy relevance in a week where he’ll be heavily involved in both the passing and running games.

Week 14 Sleepers & Emerging Players

Week 14 Sleepers, Potential-Emergent Players, and Opportunistic Plays This article is contributed by Brad Kruse This column is NOT intended to provide Week 14 Waiver Wire claims lists. Instead, the purpose is to look at young players whose opportunity could emerge and should be monitored. I will also look at potential injury replacement players, but I will try not to focus on the obvious choices for this week’s slate of games as that is covered elsewhere on the sight. My goal is to help look around corners for the season which might give ideas for pre-emptive adds to your roster.  This week I will focus exclusively on the young receivers and review how they have performed using targets per route run and yards per route run metrics. A minimum of ten targets is required to be included in the list below. Young Breakout Receivers (through Week 13) The above table looks at all first and second-year WRs that have at least 15% targets per route run (TPRR) and 1.5 Yards per route run (YPRR) through ten weeks this year. Below are comments on players who stood out in Week 13. Second-Year Players Puka Nacua: Nacua continues to be a star as he recorded a 38% targets per route run (TPRR) performance this week while collecting five receptions on eight targets for 56 yards and a touchdown. For the year, which gives him 35% TPRR and 3.2 yards per route run (YPRR). He is an elite performer. Parker Washington: Washington deserves mention this week with twelve targets and six receptions for 103 yards and one touchdown. That is a 31% TPRR and 3.2 YPRR score.  For the year, Washington has only recorded a 16% TPRR and 1.2 YPRR. As a predominantly low average depth of target (aDOT) receiver, his yards aren’t typically as strong as his target share. Rookies Ladd McConkey: McConkey was truly a star in a low-volume attack.  He collected twelve targets recording nine receptions for 117 scoreless yards. That represented a 48% TPRR and 4.7 YPRR. That moves his YTD performance to 25% TPRR and 2.5 YPRR. He has been one of the top-performing rookies this year, if not the top. Brian Thomas: Thomas is always dangerous. This week he earned ten targets and caught four of them for 76 yards and a touchdown. That was worth a 28% TPRR and 2.1 YPRR. Both of those metrics are solid despite the low catch rate. During the year, Thomas has earned a 23% TPRR and 2.4 YPRR. He is another strong receiver from this rookie class. Malik Nabers: Nabers is another frequently mentioned receiver in this column. This week he caught eight of his thirteen targets for 69 scoreless yards. That was good for a 36% TPRR and 1.9 YPRR. He is not found the endzone as much as his fantasy owners would like with only three touchdowns this year.  However, his YTD 32% TPRR and 2.0 YPRR still are great performances for a rookie. He will again be a high draft pick next year in fantasy drafts. Xavier Worthy: Worthy gets a mention this week as he is starting to figure more into the Chief’s offense. He earned seven targets resulting in five receptions for 54 yards.  That represented a 21% TPRR and 1.6 YPRR. He has not had the rookie season many fantasy managers envisioned. His season total of 17% TPRR and 1.2 YPRR still makes him a difficult start each week.   ENTER OUR WEEK 14 DRAFT CONTEST! How it Works: First, you draft your team using our On-Demand Simulator. Thursday Night Football Preview: Week 14

Thursday Night Football Preview: Week 14 The fantasy postseason push opens with a premiere game between NFC North contenders. Coincidentally, both teams played last Thursday and come off a full allotment of rest. This should be an exciting game, loaded with fantasy-relevant players. FullTime Fantasy‘s Thursday Night Football Preview: Week 14 covers all fantasy-relevant for the game. The Green Bay Packers have won three straight and sit at 9-3. Matt LaFleur’s squad is 4-1 on the road but has struggled against NFC North foes, posting a 1-2 record in divisional play. One of those defeats came one month ago against these same Lions. Evening the score is crucial for the Packers to remain in the hunt for the top overall seed. Meanwhile, the Lions keep rolling. Detroit has won 10 consecutive games and leads the NFL in scoring. The Lions have been particularly potent at home, where Dan Campbell’s team averages over 35 points per game. Vegas is predicting a good one. Detroit is a 3-point favorite and the total of 51.5 is the highest figure of the Week 14 slate. Matchup  TEAM OFFENSE PASS RUSH YDS/PLAY POINTS Green Bay Packers 3 10 5 2 8 Detroit Lions 2 5 4 3 1 These two NFC North rivals are closely matched. They have evenly split their last 10 meetings. Both teams are top-3 in overall offense, top-5 in rushing, and are among the three most potent big-play units. They are also fairly even on the defensive side of the ball. The Lions allow the second-fewest points per game while Green Bay is 10th. Both squads are top eight against the run, which is a fascinating dynamic with both teams running the ball exceptionally well on offense. In fact, in their last 10 matchups, these two teams are separated by just .1 yards per rush. Green Bay and Detroit have a combined record of 30-6. Half of those losses came to NFC North foes. Green Bay won 29-22 at Ford Field last season and the Lions are looking for payback in a statement game. Should be a good one. Green Bay Offense  The Packers lost at home to Detroit last month 24-14. However, the Packers largely beat themselves with a pick-6, six drops, and 10 penalties. Jordan Love also didn’t throw a touchdown in that game. However, he’s healthier now and playing better football. Love has multiple scores in three straight games. However, the Lions have been a tough opponent for Love, who averages just one TD and one interception in five career matchups against Detroit. But with so many quality quarterbacks unavailable due to the horrendous bye week, Love still hovers into QB1 territory. Only the Chiefs allow fewer fantasy points to running backs than Detroit. Still, despite the lousy matchup, Josh Jacobs is a good bet to soak up plenty of volume. Additionally, he has become a bigger part of the passing game. The Lions have only allowed seven total scores to running backs all season in 12 games. Nobody is benching Jacobs in season-long leagues, but he’s not a player I would pay up for in DFS. The matchup is significantly better for Green Bay’s pass-catchers. The Lions generally play with large leads, which causes their opponents to play in catch-up mode. Jayden Reed enters this game as fantasy football’s WR5. No other wideout inside the top 20 has fewer targets than Reed’s 58. He’s quite TD-dependent, having failed to eclipse 30 yards in his last three games but still scoring thrice. However, Reed has performed well versus this opponent, including a 5/113/0 line in Week 9. Romeo Doubs will not play. Dontayvion Wicks will see more snaps, along with Bo Melton and Malik Heath. Christian Watson didn’t do much in the previous game with the Lions. However, that is par for the course for Watson, one of the most volatile wideouts in the game. Watson reeled in all four of his targets for 150 yards in Week 11 but has scored fewer than seven fantasy points in five of his last six. His receiving prop for this game is 44.5 yards, and Watson is +225 to score. TE Tucker Kraft has posted two consecutive quality fantasy games after his Week 11 goose egg. However, Detroit allows the fewest fantasy points to tight ends, who have mustered a league-low 375 receiving yards and ONE touchdown all season versus the Lions. Tough to sit a TE1 in a depleted week, but fantasy managers would be advised to look for other options. Detroit Offense QB Jared Goff has been stellar at home. In his last four games at Ford Field, Goff boasts an 11-0 TD-to-INT ratio. In four career home games against Green Bay, Goff has tossed nine touchdowns. However, the matchup isn’t great for Goff, who posted QB27 numbers in Week 9 against this opponent. Vegas has Goff with a slight lean on UNDER 1.5 TD passes, with a yardage prop of 245.5. Green Bay comes in at league average versus the run. Both Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery eclipsed double-digit fantasy points in Green Bay. So looking at this as a neutral matchup means both running backs will vie for top-15 numbers. Jahmyr Gibbs has 485 rushing yards and five touchdowns in six home tilts, with another 133 yards on 15 grabs. Entering this game, Gibbs is -165 to score with a yardage prop of 87.5. That feels optimistic. Teammate David Montgomery (-155) is less likely to score, which seems odd. Montgomery has found the end zone in three straight home games against the Packers. In seven career games versus Green Bay, WR Amon-Ra St. Brown averages 6.0 grabs, 62.6 yards, and 0.4 touchdowns. The Packers have done a good job defending him. WR Jameson Williams has performed much better at home. Last week was his low point at Ford Field, but Williams still caught 5-of-7 targets. Green Bay allows the eighth-fewest fantasy points to wideouts, so view Williams in his usual regard: a boom-or-bust WR3 with
