NHL DFS: The Slapshot – 2/17

We had a solid night last night here at Scout with the Columbus LINE LOCK paying off big time.  Lots of screenshots of winners near the top of their contests and I’m really glad to see all of them whether it’s on Slack, Twitter or a billboard on the highway.  Good stuff folks!

Today is broken down into just a 4 game slate that starts at 6:00 pm est.  There are two early games if you want to have some afternoon entertainment and I popped some notes on them into the slack channel but the real strategy will be for the main slate tonight.

NHL DFS: The Slapshot (Cheat Sheet) – 2/12

It’s back to a bigger slate tonight with 12 games around the league and ten of them begin by 8 PM EST or earlier, so expect lots of early fireworks.  I’ll have just another short quick cheat sheet for today with Rob Geriak having a full detailed breakdown in The Point Shot. LINE LOCK OF THE NIGHT Eric Staal – Jason Zucker – Jordan Greenway (Minnesota Wild) The Wild welcome in the Flyers on a B2B and without Carter Hart in net, which means that the little Cinderella slipper the Flyers had going on is about to completely fall off and get run over by the rest of the league.  The Wild are rested here and should carve up the Flyers off that physical game vs the Penguins last night in which they pepper the Pens but couldn’t break through. TOP STUD ONE OFF Gabriel Landeskog – Colorado Avalanche The Avalanche have gone from being everyone’s favorite line to stack to virtually un-owned each slate.  The reason is because of the hefty price tag that all three players are carrying and just that nobody wants to pay $22,200 for just three players in their lineup.  It’s the most expensive stack by far and nobody wants to play one offs anymore.  This has opened up all the Avs as great one offs tonight and with the value I get on the Wild second line I can get both Landeskog and MacKinnon in the same lineup.   TOP VALUE ONE OFF Brayden Schenn – St. Louis Blues   TOP DEFENSEMAN John Klingberg – Dallas Stars   FAVORITE GOALIES Jordan Binnington, Blues I will likely have Dubnyk to correlate with my Wild stack, but Binnington has been really good lately and the Blues overall are playing well and should win at home tonight.   Also, Jimmy Howard is your upset goalie of the night.  The Red Wings have owned the Predators.   FAVORITE STACKS 3 Star (Single Entry/Smaller Field): Winnipeg Jets … Scheifele, Wheeler, Connor, Trouba   2 Star (Larger Single Entry or 2/3 Entry Max): Minnesota Wild … Staal, Zucker, Greenway, Suter   1 Star (MME/Longshot): Detroit Red Wings … Dylan Larkin, Gustav Nyquist, Mike Green, Jimmy Howard   BETS Wild -1.5 Rangers / Jets Over 6.5 Devils / Blues Over 5.5 Red Wings ML

NHL DFS: The Point Shot – 2/12

Key Three Skaters   Cam Atkinson (CBJ) Atkinson is seventh among forwards in goals per 60 and third in shots per 60 on the season. He’s hit a bit of a dry spell in terms of goals over the last

Key Three Skaters   Evander Kane (SJ) Over the last month, Kane has been one of the most lethal and aggressive scorers in the league. Over the past 11 games, Kane has eight goals and five assists on 54 shots,
