CFB DFS Cheat Sheet – Saturday 9/28 – Night Slate

Cheat Sheet For Saturday, September 28th, Night Slate Range/Tier QB RB WR Top Plays Justin Fields Chuba Hubbard, Jaylen Warren Isaiah Hodgins, Emeka Emezie Value Jordan Love, Matthew McKay Cam Scarlett, James Gilbert K.J. Hill, Savon Scarver Contrarian Adrian Martinez Kylin Hill, Jermar Jefferson Bryan Edwards, Lynn Bowden Jr. Must Play Justin Fields Jaylen Warren Isaiah Hodgins Favorite Game to Stack: Colorado State vs. Utah State (keep in mind that I intentionally listed just two players from this game in the table below. The reasoning for that is simply to show you my top plays on an individual basis by category listed in the table.) This game should get a lot of attention from players that are following CFB close enough. While both of these schools may take a back seat as far as name-value goes on this slate, there is a ton of value to be had in one of the highest total games on the slate. Colorado State comes in as big underdogs, so we’ll look to the passing attack under the hunch that the Rams will be trailing. Wide receiver Warren Jackson and running back Marvin Kinsey Jr. are both listed as doubtful opening up value behind them if they do in fact, sit. Both are definitely in play if they do go, specifically Jackson who has been a target hog early on. Patrick O’Brien has stepped in as the starting quarterback after Collin Hill tore his ACL as the starter. At $5,600, O’Brien is tough to ignore here. On the Utah State side, Jaylen Warren has carried the ball 45 times for 320 yards and four touchdowns in three games for the Aggies. He figures to be busy while Gerold Bright may also see some work behind him, but make no mistake about it, Warren is the main ball carrier and that’s reflected in his price. Siaosi Mariner leads the Aggies in targets, red-zone targets, and catches thus far with Savon Scarver and Jordan Nathan also playing important roles in the passing game right behind him. Finally, under center, Jordan Love has yardage totals of 293, 294, and 416 in his last three games while completing 30, 25, and 33 passes respectively over that span. At a sub-7K price tag, I expect him to be slinging the ball around in what should be a high-scoring effort for the Aggies. Thoughts on the slate: To me, this is a slate where the value of the Colorado State vs. Utah State game is too good to pass up while trying to get some high-priced players in lineups. I like the idea of starting with Justin Fields, Jaylen Warren, and Isaiah Hodgins and then filling in three to four players from the expected shootout between the Rams and Aggies. From there, you can fill in with the players above as far as the salary cap will allow. GOOD LUCK!!

NFL DFS: Week 4 QB Report

Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson

Quarterbacks Patrick Mahomes, KC (DK – $7,500/FD – $9,200) The great ride of Mahomes looks destined to win Fantasy owners a ton of money in 2019. After three games, he’s passed for 1,195 yards with ten TDs and no Ints.

NFL Primetime – Week 3

Cleveland Browns QB Baker Mayfield

SNF / MNF, Primetime article for Week 3 which features two games that will have heavy ownership on the SNF contest because the MNF features two offenses that aren’t that flashy but do have good value considerations to look at.

4th and Goal Week 3

QUARTERBACKS Stafford – Love this spot for him in a game that should go back and forth. He’s attempted 75 passes through the first 2 games, and dating back to last year Philly has allowed 297 yards through the air over their last 9 games. Allen – With Singletary out, you can guarantee Allen will be using his legs this week. Gore won’t be able to carry the load, and Allen has scored both through the air and on the ground in each game this Year. Jackson – This game could be sloppy as far as weather, so I may not be as high as I usually am on him. He’s been unstoppable so far this year and facing a defense that’s “supposed” to be improved this year. KC will be able to score, and Jackson will need both his arm and legs this week to match them score for score. OTHERS WITH UPSIDE Murray Dak RUNNING BACKS McCaffrey – obvious play without Cam. In December last year without Cam, he totaled 30+ touches and also 200 all purpose yards. Cook – Best back in the league so far this year. Minnesota will do all the can to keep the game off Cousins shoulders. He took a beating in the media this week, and most likely lean on Cook and Mattison to run through this Oakland D. Ekeler – He should get a good amount of targets this week in a possible shootout. Ekeler has been so good this year, both on the ground and through the air averaging 21 touches a game so far Barkley – obvious play again. Rookie QB that NY won’t put the win on his back. Carson – With Penny more than likely out, Carson should now get 90% of the carries with Prosise mixed in. Carson has a fumbling issue, but with Penny hurting his hamstring in a freaking walkthrough it’s going to be all Carson. OTHERS WITH UPSIDE Howard Freeman RECEIVERS  (I’ll have a tight core here this week. Lower priced guys are in great spots and love the $4800-$7000 range) Sanders – Dominating all corners this year. Another 10+ targets and cheap Golladay – Tall receivers destroy this secondary. Golladay is 6-4 and averaging around 10 targets a game. Hollywood Brown  – weather could play and issue here, but will stretch the field against a bad KC secondary. Agholor – Chalk spot, very cheap. He’s played well when Alshon has been out. As long as he stays in the slot, he should get peppered with targets. Fitz – Old man still has it, seeing 24 targets through 2 games. Murray leans on Fitz often, especially in crucial downs. OTHERS WITH UPSIDE Boyd/Ross Diggs/Thielen TIGHT END Ertz – will be EXTREMELY popular this week, with everyone hurt for Philly. Possible 15+ targets again. Howard – Cheap TE that everyone loves. I’m not as sign as some people but I get it. Giants vs TE Hockenson – Detroit/Philly shootout. McDonald – Revenge narrative with a rookie QB who threw 2 td’s to him last week.
