KBO: Dongers Club – June 4th

WEATHER All fine   PITCHING Erik Jokisch ($9500 – Kiwoom Heroes) … One of these days law of averages will strike on the Eagles doing well.  Today is not that day.  Jokisch has been one of the best arms so far in the KBO and he faces the worst team in the league offensively.  Load him up for a big strikeout performance. Aaron Brooks ($8000 – Kia Tigers) … Brooks gets a team in Lotte who hasn’t been very good against RHP this season and his 20% strikeout rate for his price is far better in my mind than Rucinski in a worse spot for more money. Chan Heong Jung ($6500 – LG Twins) … Really like the Twins today and this would be taking a shot at locking up the W and correlating w/ the stack.   TEAM STACKS LG Twins … I really don’t see them getting swept at home by Samsung.  Through the first two games they’ve gotten shutout and whooped 12-6.  Today they turn it around Doosan Bears … Can’t get too upset that they were shutout last night, but I sense some folks will shy away from them for other spots.  Load up on the plethora of lefties they have 1-5 here.   POSITIONAL TARGETS CATCHER Eui Ji Yang (NCD) Dong Won Park (KIW) FIRST BASE Roberto Ramos (LG) Jae Hwan Kim (DOO) SECOND BASE Min Woo Park (NCD) Hye Sung Kim (KIW) THIRD BASE Jae Gyun Hwang (KTW) Hyoung Min Hur (DOO) SHORTSTOP Ha Seong Kim (KIW) Sung Bin Kim (KIA) OUTFIELD – Tier 1 Aaron Altherr (NCD) Ji wan Na (KIA) Hyun Soo Kim (LG) Ho Ryung Kim (KIA)

KBO: Dongers Club – June 3rd

WEATHER No issues   PITCHING Don’t say I didn’t warn you about yesterday’s slate.  One lesson to remember is when we have a projected chalky pitcher that looks iffy like Despaigne (and Lee in hindsight) there’s a TON of upside in going the leverage route of simply doing a stack against that chalky pitcher.  The numbers being what they are in KBO with higher chalk and less hitting competition (because of fewer teams), it really can pay off when we have spots like yesterday.  Just something to always throw out there as an option building your lineups. Casey Kelly – $8,800 – LG Twins Samsung has almost no power.  Kelly gives up almost no homers.  He’s SP1 today. Geon Wook Lee – $6,300 – SK Wyverns Tough to pick on the Dino’s normally but this is the best mid range/value pitcher on the board and only Sung Bum Na — who has been hitting everyone — has hit lefties from the Dino’s this year consistently.  Really strong consideration to play Lee tonight even on my main lineup. Warwick Saupold – $9,500 – Hanwha Eagles Saupold isn’t going to go out and strikeout 10 batters, but when you are going 6+ innings and normally giving up 3 or fewer runs that’s what we call a nice quality start and while the $9500 price may not feel like an easy thing to do without 30 point ceiling, it sure beats getting Despaigne’d with a -19 doesn’t it?   TEAM STACKS DOOSAN BEARS The Bears come in as a heavy favorite in a game with a 12.5 total compared to the next highest game at 9.5  So yeah, this is where everyone will go without knowing a single thing about what has happened so far in this KBO season and it’s justified going up against Hyeong Jun So. SK Wyverns Jeong Choi moved down in the order and still had a big game.  SK is rolling, hard to pass on them right now and facing a lefty gives the heart of the order a boost.     POSITIONAL TARGETS CATCHER Eui Ji Yang (NCD) Kang Nam Yoo (LG) FIRST BASE Jose Fernandez (DOO) Jamie Romak (SK) SECOND BASE Kyung Soo Park (KTW) Jae Woh Oh (DOO) THIRD BASE Jeong Choi (SK) Jae Gyun Hwang SHORTSTOP Jae Ho Kim (DOO) Jin Nyuk Ho (NCD) OUTFIELD Mel Rojas Jr (KTW) Jae Hwan Kim (DOO) Kun Woo Park (DOO) Sung Bum Na (NCD) Value OF Eun Sung Chae (LG) Ji Wan Na (KIA)

KBO: Dongers Club – June 2nd

The start of some new series today and we have two series in pretty good ballparks between the Wyverns at the Dinos and the Giants at the Tigers.  Both ballparks have been good historically and pretty good offensively this year as well. WEATHER No serious issues.  A few cloud/lingering showers possible in a couple spots but no PPD or Delay risk it seems. PITCHING This slate is loaded with pitchers who have disaster potential Jae Hak Lee ($8700 – NCD) … He’s the top choice but believe me the SK Wyverns are playing much better, and it’s driven by Jeong Choi.  That said, the list really ends after Jeong Choi with guys I’d consider and even though this is a decent hitters park, I think Jae Hak Lee has to be considered. Min Ho Lee ($5000 – LG) .. So what’s the plan when the pitching slate looks rough?  Pay down of course.  This isn’t even my favorite pitcher in this game but for DFS today he’s probably the correct one.  Having only gone 9 innings through two starts depth is the reason why he’s so cheap.  But for $5k against Samsung at home he should give you good upside. TOO RISKY, BUT IN CONSIDERATION Odrisamer Despaigne ($8200 – KTW) … Ugh.  He’s been good in terms of getting strikeouts and while I still think he sucks we have to consider a big K% guy in KBO.  That said, the match-up against Doosan?  Not great Jim.  Not great. Tae In Won ($6800 – SAM) … Good young arm who I have been very impressed with.  But coming off a 30+ point game and now going on the road against a decent Twins team is NOT a good spot to expect a duplicate performance.  Proceed w/ caution TEAM STACKS KIA TIGERS … For those going for a home run, the Tigers should be your primary stack due to ownership as they won’t be nearly as high as the Dino’s but are in just as equally good of a spot.  I like the 1-4 on both sides in this game, but I really like Preston Tucker anytime he gets a bad RHP. Preston Tucker (OF) Ji Wan Na (OF) Hyung Woo Choi (1B) NC DINO’s … Suk Min Park was cold and then got Sunday off.  He’s hammered RH pitching this year and should be able to get things going at home against Seung Won Moon, who gives up 1.7 HR/9.  He’s probably gonna bat 5th and so he’s the nice anchor in this stack Min Woo Park (2B) Sung Bum Na (OF) Eui JI Yang (C) Suk Min Park (3B) KT WIZ … If you didn’t have Mel Rojas from the Wiz on Sunday then you didn’t do much.  Today that guy is Jeong Dae Bae.  I have lefty Hui Kwan Yu for the Bears as one of the lowest rated pitchers on the slate and the Bears bullpen, like others is really really bad this year. Jeong Dae Bae (OF) Mel Rojas Jr. (OF) Sang Chul Moon (3B) POSITIONAL TARGETS CATCHER Eui Ji Yang – Dinos PUNT FIRST BASE … Unusual for 1B to not be a stud position but it’s kinda blah today. Hyung Woo Choi – Tigers Jin Sung Kang – Dinos SECOND BASE Min Woo Park – Dinos Dixon Machado – Giants THIRD BASE Suk Min Park – Dinos Jeong Choi – Wyverns … Oh look, he’s joined the 2020 season.   Worth the price finally.  Consider at SS with Min Park SHORTSTOP Sun Bim Kim – Tigers Ji Hwan Oh – Twins OUTFIELD – Tier 1 Jeong Dae Bae – Wiz Preston Tucker – Tigers Ji Wan Na – Tigers Sung Bum Na – Dinos Jun Woo Jeon – Giants DONGERS CLUB Suk Min Park – 3B – Dinos

KBO Dongers Club – Sun, May 31st

We made it through another month without Major League Baseball.  I say this every day, but man I miss it.  That said, KBO is doing just fine for my bankroll for now but I doubt I’ll stay up all night again watching Sunday games again this week.  We have a nice 5 game slate of games that will be played in the afternoon in Korea and very little weather issues.   WEATHER Mid to upper 70’s, no rain   PITCHING Chang Mo Koo ($9,400 – NC Dinos) … The Dino’s “ACE” will look to get them back on the winning track on Sunday against the Lions and they have a distinct advantage in pitching because Chang Mo Koo is doing even better this year as his K% has been up to 30% through his first three starts and he’s holding opposing batters to a low .115 average.  Normally on a Sunday I’d kinda lean against going with an ace like this but given the fact that Samsung has won the first two games I don’t see the Dino’s getting swept here. Chris Flexen ($8,600 – Doosan Bears) … Flexen gets a chance to bounce back after starting off with 19-21-32 in his first three games he had only 11 back on May 26th.  The fact that he is at home and drawing a righty heavy Lotte Giants projected lineup has me penciling him in over the other candidates today. Jong Hoon Park ($7,500 – SK Wyverns) … SK is on a roll and this is the best value spot on the slate.  The Eagles offense is a league low .319 wOBA coming in with a very low ISO and while normally we don’t need salary relief he is a nice mid range on DK and low price on FanDuel to consider as well.   TEAM STACKS Projected Chalk:  Dinos, Bears, Wiz   LG TWINS Eight runs on Friday, sixteen runs on Saturday.  This is a good hitting park and Drew Gagnon is going to be a bad choice in DFS in my mind today.  Load up on the Twinkies led by Hyun Soo Kim, Eun Sung Chae and Roberto Ramos.  Given that they’re the road team and to be a little sneaky I would definitely consider a bottom of the order guy or two, so Ji-Hwan Oh and Kang-Nam Style Yooo are the favorable plays. Hyun Soo Kim (OF) Eun Sung Chae (OF) Roberto Ramos (1B) Ji-Hwan Oh (SS) – Value Kang-Nam Yoo (C) – Value   KT WIZ vs KIWOOM  HEROES In my mind the Wiz/Heroes game has the combined two worst pitchers on the slate.  The Heroes continue to get it done even when I go away from them, but we gotta love Byung-Ho Park today as the anchor in their lineup.  Meanwhile, Mel Rojas Jr. and Jeong Dae Bae are rolling for the KT Wiz. ByungHo Park (1B) – Kiwoom Jeong Dae Bae (OF) – Wiz Mel Rojas Jr (OF) – Wiz   POSITIONAL TARGETS CATCHER Kang Nam Yo – LG FIRST BASE ByungHo Park – KIW Roberto Ramos – LG SECOND BASE Kyung Soo Park – KTW Joo Hwan Choi – DOO THIRD BASE Jeong Choi – SK … Consider at SS as well.  3B finally a good spot today Jae Gyun Hwang – KTW Suk Min Park – NCD SHORTSTOP Ha Seong Kim – SS Ji-Hwan Oh – LG OUTFIELD – Tier 1 Hyun Soo Kim – LG Hyung Woo Choi – KIA Sung Bum Not Mike Trout – NCD … How does the guy I joke nickname Trout put up a 0 on Saturday?  Fraud. KBO Dongers Club – Sat May 30th

I know that the slate this article is being written for is on a Saturday, but technically today is a Friday and it’s been a damn good KBO DFS week thus far and I just saw my local watering hole here in Virginia had customers outside drinking and eating in total relaxation.  Now, if only I can get them to open up at 4am so I can drink while watching KBO tomorrow then we’ll have it a success….   THE SLATE Well.  They did it.  DraftKings finally pulled a fucktard move.  Yep, I called them that.  They deserve it for being more greedy than the MLB players association right now.  DraftKings has split the 1:00 AM game off from the 4:00 AM games tomorrow leaving us with a stupid single game showdown slate at 1:00 AM (have fun with that……) and then the main slate at 4:00 AM.  Ugh.  My body has been conditioned into waking up at 5:00 am fairly well recently and now this shit.  Might go easy tomorrow… What do you think? Oh, as for the MLB PA.  They are being really stupid trying to call the owners bluff.  The owners stand to lose money no matter what this year, so why would the owners care if the full season gets cancelled?  In ever labor scenario the players end up looking worse than the owners and these two have an upcoming labor dispute at the end of 2021.  If they dont play this year it just puts the balls of the players into the owners hands in 18 months when they go into some serious labor strife. I will spare everyone of the inevitable GIF associated with balls and getting ripped out. You are welcome. Oh, and the LG TWINS vs KIA TIGERS is the game not on the slate.  Which means no weekend Rosario’s.  Bitches….   WEATHER It’s all good.  RIP to the now unemployed KBO Weather Touts.   PITCHING Mike Wright ($8,900 – NC Dinos) A crappy pitcher we pick on in the majors equals a pitcher we crave to roster when he is in Korea.  That my friends is Mr. Mike Wright.  Things going for him today include the following (grab your pen and paper)…. He is holding opposing hitters to just .188 AVG He is striking out over 21% of his opponents His opponent, the Lions, suck worse than the Detroit Lions and per my proprietary model are a hot garbage with 18.2 K% and just a .131 ISO. He’s also a Capricorn and you know what they say about Capricorn’s…. Actually, I’m not really sure what they say about Capricorn’s.   William ‘Tequila’ Cuevas ($7,700 – KT Wiz) There’s certainly not much to be excited about for second pitchers on DraftKings with only four games going and some pretty less than high upside choices out there.  I am going with a road underdog in Cuevas who faces a Kiwoom team thats certainly been riding pretty well the past few games but it’s here or go with a gamestack in the Dinos/Lions game with Buchanan paired with Wright and that ain’t where I wanna go.  Cuevas, which reminds me of Jose Curevo Tequila, isn’t gonna strike out the world but overall he pitches fairly well and I sense him being a nice contrarian play today vs Kiwoom. Ricardo Pinto ($7,400 – Wyverns) I would play him with a Wyverns stack.  Generally I’m not a Pinto guy but there are NO Eagles today I want to roster.     TEAM STACKS SK Wyverns WTF.  Why are they so heavily favored?  This is terrible news for ownership on what was gonna be my top team after watching them heat up.  Jeong Choi was a highly touted player who started horridly but as we’ve paid attention he’s really heated up in the last three games and no reason for someone with so much positive history to slow down now against Shi Hwan Jang – a former Giant who has struggled even more with the Eagles this season.  He’s normally someone hitters hit around .300 against and lefties are smashing him up so far this season — which added on top with Choi (RHB) being on fire will mean lots of runs scored here. Soo Kwang Noh – OF Jun Hyeok Oh – OF Jeong Choi – 3B/SS Jin Gi Jeong – OF   Doosan Bears They were just blah last night and will be facing a pitcher for the second time this year in Jun Woo Seo.  Advantage again to the Bears who have been fiddling around with their lineup but they have lots of good value players.  If you wanna get up by 4:00 AM to check lineups this is the first one to validate to see who is hitting #1 as they’ll be chalk — but we saw last night that doesn’t always translate into the right results.  The RH bats are the sneaky plays here. Jose Fernandez – 1B/2B Jae Ho Kim – SS … Nice value at SS, consistently is getting soem points each night Kyoung Min Hur – 3B … I bet he is very chalky coming off a 26 last night and has 3 double digit results in the past week at $2600 on DK Jae Hwan Kim – 1B/OF … Started off on fire but has cooled off.  His price remains high though and his ownership remains 30-50%.  Logically he is a fade spot given the less than awesome production of late but the burst will come soon.   NC Dino’s They draw ole David Buchanan tonight.  For an update on Buchanan will do, lets go to our chief David Buchanan correspondent Exactly.  Simply put though Buchanan has been murdered by Korean Lefties.  Which begs the question, how exactly does one say Lefties in Korea? Sung Bum Na Na Na Na. Na Na Na Na.  Hey Hey Hey, Good Byeeeeeeeee …. – OF Min Woo Park – 2B Myung Gi Lee – OF Jin Hyuk No – 2B/SS

KBO Dongers Club – Fri, May 29th

What a Thursday morning, as the Dongers Club came roaring through with the right spots and fades.  Had a nice four figure night which was close to a five figure win every contest in the world prior to a late chalk catcher homer.  Figures.  New series begin today, so pay attention to the new spots and new park factors in play.  We have some more competitive series but then we also have Samsung tasked with slowing down the NC Dino’s.   KBO DFS Dashboard http://www.dailyambush.com/kbo-dfs-dashboard/   WEATHER Coast is clear.  One series is in a dome all weekend (KT vs KIA)   PITCHING Drew Rucinski ($9,300 – NC Dinos) Drew is the top pitcher today, no other way to slice it as he’ll be north of 50% owned in a bunch of the relevant contests and at lowest maybe 38-40% in that range.  I don’t see much benefit in fading him because Samsung isn’t a heavy offense and this isn’t necessarily a dynamite hitters park either.  Rucinski has been striking out 20%+ batters this season as well so we know he has the K+ upside needed for the higher end $ pitchers.  Gotta like him today.   SP2 is where things get a bit more interesting.  The ownership should be spread out among Eric Jokisch (KIW), Raul Alcantara (DOO) and Aaron Brooks (KIA).  Eric Jokisch ($9,000 – Kiwoom Heroes) Some could argue Jokisch over Rucinski I guess but Jokisch does have Mel Rojas Jr. in this lineup to deal with.  That aside, when you get 7 straight 20%+ strikeout rate guys in a row against a pitcher who has been striking out 20% on average this season you gotta love it. Min Woo Kim ($6,400 – Hanwha Eagles) Has been fairly good this year and the SK Wyverns offense is very thin.  However, Jeong Choi continues to show signs of life as I mentioned yesterday and I even rolled out Choi against the opposing pitcher yesterday and it worked.  As long as it’s a value guy (like Kim in this spot) I’m okay with that in KBO DFS where we only have 5 games each night to pick from.  Kim shouldn’t match Jokisch or Rucinski but I think he can match Brooks and Alcantara at lower ownership and much lower price.       TEAM STACKS Doosan Bears (& Lotte Giants) The Bears are the no brainer side here, but to get crafty look at the middle of the Giants order as well.   For me Jose Fernandez is someone you can justify spending $6k on today even with some higher priced pitching on the slate.  He’s basically a multi-hit machine and they’re facing who I think is the worst pitcher on the slate.  He’s a core along with some nice value in the Doosan Bears projected lineup: Studs: Jose Miguel Fernandez (1B/2B) Jae Hwan Kim (OF) — Highest rated Bear on my model Value: Jae Won Oh (2B) – Min priced on DK, likely batting third. Jae Hwan Choi (1B/2B) – He gets left off if you go with JMF and Jae Won Oh Kun Woo Park (OF) – Another value spot Giants Joon Woo Jeon (OF) Ah Seop Son (OF)   Kiwoom Heroes Big game last night and in another good spot today.  Focus on 1-5 top of the order starting with Keon Chang Seo and Jung Hoo Lee   NC Dinos I said just always play Sung Bum Na and he hit 2 HR again last night.  Same deal again with the Dino’s, you gotta like him, Eui Ji Yang (who burned me big time with his homer) and Suk Min Park who was one Dino that did nothing yesterday.  But overall it’s not as great as a park as where Doosan is at and Recency bias could put the Dinos ownership a bit higher making them the spot to consider fading for some leverage on a chalky pitching slate.  Myung Gi Lee (OF) — Good value from the Dinos       POSITIONAL TARGETS CATCHER Se Hyuk Park (DOO) – I think he plays today and is a value C on the top team Eui Ji Yang (NCD) FIRST BASE Jose Miguel Fernandez (DOO) .. Bears have 3 guys 1B eligible, get one of them SECOND BASE Joo Hwan Choi (DOO) & Jae Won Oh (DOO) … Both are min price or near min price.  You play them + Jose Fernandez and you got heart of the order guys on the top chalky team of the day for 4k each.  It’s simple DFS formula Keon Chang Seo (KIW) THIRD BASE Jeong Choi (SK) Suk Min Park (NCD) SHORTSTOP Ha Seong Kim (KIW) Jae Ho Kim (DOO) OUTFIELD – Tier 1 Sung Bum Na (NCD) Kun Woo Park (DOO) Eun Sung Chae (LG) Ji Wan Na (KIA)  … Great one off from the Tigers — against a lefty he should be the one to do damage. Value OF Myung Gi Lee (NCD)   DONGERS CLUB CHAIRMAN:  Jose Miguel Fernandez – 1B/2B – Doosan Bears

KBO Dongers Club – Thu May 28th

There are three pitchers we have not seen yet this KBO season going today.  One of them is Yoon Dong Heo (Samsung) an 18 year old LHP making his debut today and the other is Dae Hyun Jung (Kiwoom) a

KBO Dongers Club – Wed May 27

WEATHER Once again we have no weather concerns on this slate which is great — in fact temps in South Korea in general are warming up as expected.   THE QUICK 411 The Bears, Dinos, Twins and Wiz are your four big favorites today. We don’t have the DEPTH of strikeout pitchers today that we did yesterday.   PITCHING Odrisamer Despaigne (KT – $8300) … Best hitter on the KIA Tigers is Preston Tucker who finally got it going last night after a cold slump, but Despaigne continues to pitch efficiently and should have enough run support tonight to earn the victory.  He’s pretty steady and this is a slate where steady is good enough. Ki Young Im (KIA – $7500) … In the Majors there’s usually no reason to go full gamestack on pitchers unless you’re getting one of them at a big discount.  But here in the KBO with only 5 games and 4 of them looking like some big hitting spots this is an area where I think you can get safe and sneaky by stacking the two pitchers in this Wiz-Tigers game.  Im hasn’t been that bad and is someone I’ve watched a decent amount of so far this season and he has a wicked cool little dip and almost side angle toss.  It can be deceiving and in this park he should keep the HR down. Jae Hak Lee (NC – $9000) … I think you’ll get equal value stacking Despaigne/Im than you would mixing with Lee but he’d be next in line for me.   TEAM STACKS Da Bears … They’ll definitely be chalky and they’ll definitely be my main lineup today.  Everyone grades out well against Seung Won Moon Joo Hwan Choi – 1B/2B Jose Fernandez – 1B/2B Se Hyuk Park – C Giants … After a 1-0 game last night this one should be back up there into the normal scoring ranges.  If Samsung wasn’t so banged up I would ride their side as I think they have the better match-up all around but the Giants are an easier team to stack right now. Jun Woo Jeon – OF Ah Seop Son – OF Byung Hun Min – OF Dae Ho Lee – 1B Kiwoom Heroes Ha Seong Kim – SS Jung Hoo Lee – OF Keon Chang Seo – 1B/2B CORE BATS C:  Se Hyuk Park (DOO) 1B:  Roberto Ramos (LG) 2B:  Jose Fernandez DOO) 3B:  Jeong Choi (SK) SS:  Ha Seong Kim (KIW) OF:  Jung Hoo Lee (KIW),  Sung-Bum Na (NCD), Jun Woo Jeon (LOT)

KBO Dongers Club – Tue May 26

No big introduction here.  Big week here in America for MLB to get things moving, but for now, we play morning baseball over in Korea.   WEATHER The week begins with some slight overcast and rain concerns in the Doosan Bears vs SK Wyverns game.  Doesn’t look terribly bad but worth monitoring.   PITCHING Chris Flexen ($8700 – Bears) … Besides a little rain there’s really nothing to make you not want to consider Flexen at home today against the Wyverns.  For starters, Flexen has a near 30% strikeout rate paired up with the Wyverns poor 21% strikeout rate themselves.  He’s also pitched deep in his three starts this season, so the form is good and the Wyverns form is pretty bad themselves.  He’s a smart chalk option today. Tyler Wilson ($7600 – Twins) … Wilson has been very good his two previous starts.  The magic formula for me today though is facing a low powered Eagles team in a pitchers park. Dan Straily ($7300 – Giants) … Very cheap for the high strikeout rate he has been able to bring over to KBO.   STACKS Lotte Giants … If I were to build 100 lineups for this slate, about 85 of them would have 3+ Giants on them.  Great hitters park and they should crush LHP Chae Heung Choi who gives up lots of HR (1.61/9) and this is a favorable home run park as well. Byung Hun Min (OF) Jun Woo Jeon (OF) Dae Ho Lee (1B) Dixon Machado (2B/SS) Dinos vs Heroes … Nice series to start the week as the #3 and #4 run producing teams this season face off in a very good hitters park with two pitchers who can give up their fair share of long balls.  The Dinos are the favored team because Seung Ho Lee (Kiwoom Starter) is carrying a 1.49 WHIP over the past three seasons and has been beaten up plenty this year — but I wouldn’t be opposed to a Kiwoom Heroes mini stack against Chang Mo Koo.   Koo has 32% strikeout rate and 0 HR allowed in 2020 but both numbers are gonna regress back to the mean and this is a nice spot to attack him at low ownership. KBO Dongers Club – Sun, May 24th

Every game going today will begin at 1:00 AM EST, so if you stay up late tonight having a few cocktails then you just gotta power until 1:00 AM to ensure your lineups are starting.  Every pitcher going today is a RIGHTY and every pitcher going today is a normal STARTER, so no early bullpen guys getting pulled — hopefully.   WEATHER No rain issues. Some favorable winds for hitters in the Heroes/Giants and Bears/Lions games   PROJECTED CHALK PITCHING:   Mike Wright, Ton Tae Chai STACKS:  Doosan Bears, Kiwoom Heroes, KIA Tigers   PITCHING Mike Wright ($8900 – NC Dinos) Wright should be the #1 target for pitching today.  He’s been fantastic so far in the KBO going 2-0 with just under a 25% strikeout rate and a K/9 of 9.  He’s held opposing batters to only a .220 average and now going into his third start has upside to go longer into the game as well.  The Dino’s are at home against an Eagles team they should put some runs on as well, so going to 3-0 seems like a safe bet for Wright. David Buchanan ($7400 – Samsung) Consider this a theory stolen from MLB.  Take home underdogs on Sunday’s, and especially pitchers who are coming off a pretty bad start.  I’d say Buchanan is fitting both categories quite well as he is tasked with facing the Doosan Bears who have an implied total over 8 in a game with a total up over 12.  Fear not though, Buchanan should easily outperform his last start of a -15 dont ya think?   He normally doesn’t mess around with walks so he’ll need to be spot on once again here against a mighty Doosan team.  He adds a high leverage though for you in all contest formats. William Cuevas ($7800 – KT Wiz) Cuevas has been good to me in his two starts both doing well enough to hit value.  He’s a preferred SP2 today over Won Tae Choi (fade) and other options today because Cuevas does a good job of limiting blow up innings.   FADE Won Tae Choi ($9500 – Kiwoom Heroes) Choi has been 40% owned or higher in each of his three starts but has disappointed in two of them.  He’ll be facing the Lotte Giants in a great hitters park that will have added wind bonus for the offense today.  At the high ownership and his high price tag, it still doesn’t seem like a spot to jump on him quite yet when he hasn’t been pitching very well to start the season.     STACKS NC DINOS Catcher Eui Ji Yang is day to day with a neck issue but with it being a 1:00 AM start I am confident we can monitor this for any swap information if we need to.  That said, it’s the CORE of this lineup in a great spot today 3-4-5 (Sung Bum Na, Eui Ji Yang and Suk Min Park).  Suk Min Park has been smashing RH pitching this season and batting 5th or 4th would be terrific for the 3B.   NC Dinos (NCD)- Lineup versus RHP BO Name Pos Rating DK$ FD$ Hand OPS ISO wOBA K% 1 Min Woo Park 2B 73.15 4400 13 L 0.821 0.132 0.398 11.10% 2 Myung Gi Lee OF 62.34 3200 9 L 0.781 0.089 0.324 12.70% 3 Sung Bum Na OF 81.03 4800 14 L 0.899 0.238 0.419 21.10% 4   Eui Ji Yang C 93.42 5200 13 R 1.013 0.223 0.432 8.00% 5 Suk Min Park 3B 73.13 4300 11 R 0.816 0.233 0.379 21.30% 6 Jin Hyuk No 2B/3B 62.22 3200 10 L 0.768 0.163 0.344 20.10% 7 Jin Sung Kang C 60.01 2900 10 R 0.553 0.215 0.379 22.70% 8 Aaron Altherr OF 52.02 5500 10 R 0.606 0.159 0.275 38.80% 9 Hee Dong Kwon OF 53.70 2300 7 R 0.766 0.129 0.354 14.80%   KIWOOM HEROES One through Five top of the order stack on the road against Jun Woo Seo with the wind blowing out.  This is like getting the Boston Red Sox in Camden Yards on a Sunday afternoon after they went off the first two games of the series.  Oh wait, Boston usually loses those games.  Oh well, ride Kiwoom Heroes on Sunday.   Kiwoom Heroes (KIW)- Lineup versus RHP BO Name Pos Rating DK$ FD$ Hand OPS ISO wOBA K% 1 Keon Chang Seo 1B/2B 72.19 3500 11 L 0.824 0.112 0.363 11.90% 2 Ha Seong Kim SS 84.45 5100 13 R 0.832 0.180 0.367 14.10% 3 Jung Hoo Lee OF 85.07 4500 14 L 0.889 0.192 0.424 11.20% 4 ByungHo Park 1B 97.17 5100 12 R 1.174 0.264 0.395 23.40% 5 Dong Won Park C 74.63 4200 8 R 0.729 0.214 0.360 19.50% 6 Taek Keun Lee OF 64.68 2200 8 R 0.82 0.123 0.318 12.40% 7 Ji Young Lee C 62.18 3300 6 R 0.839 0.085 0.349 13.30% 8 Ha Seong Kim SS 84.45 5100 13 R 0.832 0.180 0.367 14.10%   LOTTE GIANTS Giants are the top sneaky stack for me today.  If we are avoiding Won-Tae Choi and he is going to be 40% owned again then this is a no brainer leverage stack.
