The Cycle

The Staff Morton – Big favorite tonight as far as Vegas, so getting those extra win points help a ton especially at his price tag. 6 quality starts in his last 7 games, along with 6 or more k’s in each of those games. Lopez – remember that game when Lopez struck out 14 batters? Oh ya it was against the Tigers. This offense is probably the worst in the bigs, and even if Lopez allows 2 or 3 runs his strikeout upside is still huge in this spot. Corbin – Miami doesn’t have a ton of power, which I feel like I say every time I suggest a pitcher against them. Corbin has back to back 50+ fantasy point games, back to back QS and back to back wins. One of those games coming against this Miami team. He has dominated this team in both of his starts against them this year as well.   The Bats  Tampa – Pham homers tonight. Ground ball hitter against a fly ball pitcher. Love the lefties here as well, but if you stack make sure you get Pham in. Colorado – Hate Coors games but love this spot. Story is back off the IL, and facing a pitcher who’s gives up just under 2 homers per 9 innings in the minors. Double that with Coors and it could get ugly. Take the righties and Blackmon. Pittsburgh – Right back to them again. This is a hot team right now, so ride the wave. Bell probably homers again, while Marte and Reynold have a big night. Others I like Minnesota Dodgers lefties

THE cycle

The Staff  Yarbrough – He’ll see a bulk of the innings tonight after Stanek. He’s been really good as of late, considering his last 3 outings he had 10 k’s in 9 innings and just 1 earned run. Only down fall here for Yar is he may be limited to just 3-4 innings tonight which leaves him more of a DK play then FanDuel. Allen – By default makes my writeup, considering the lack of options tonight. Solid in his first 2 starts earning quality starts and wins in both of those games. Decent strikeout upside and gets his home park tonight as well. Mahle– scary play here, but a lot of strikeout upside. He’s been a much better pitcher at home this year, and we have seen Milwaukee strikeout a lot in recent games. This is a very risky, low owned GPP play here where we will probably see Milwaukee high owned. The Bats  Padres – They’ve been tearing the cover off the ball. Manny has about 10 homers in his last 15 games and hitting over .400 Cubs – Williams has been hammered for giving up 11 runs in his last 2 games. Cubs averaged around 6 runs a game over the past weekend, and should get on Williams early and often. RIZZO AND BRYANT IN PNC Pittsburgh – They’re a team I don’t like to pick on with pitchers, and can put up 10 runs against anyone. Alzolay is a guy who struggles against his own split, so this is a great spot for Marte. Also love this spot for bell

The Cycle – Fri 6/28

The Staff  Clevinger – Great spot coming off missing one start with an injured ankle. Double digit k upside, and favorite matchup today. Chirinos – He’s better at home where the ball tends to stay in the park more. Texas does have some power from the left side, but Chirinos has been good in his own park. Ryu – I could care less if it’s in Coors. Era leader has been better than good this year, and this is the same Colorado team that Pomeranz shut down a few games ago   The Bats  Minnesota – Sucks that Cruz is sitting and now Rosario is on the IL. Nice spot for a cheap Adrianza and Cron. Pittsburgh – Give me all the lefties here. Dickerson and Bell are scorching right now. Houston – Milone has been good but this team is healthy again…..good luck.   One offs Mercado/Luplow Muncy Jon Jay Suarez Thames
