MLB DFS Fastballs and Flyballs 9/12
7 game slate with potential weather issues and limited pitching options. Pitching is somewhat limited with the weather and price points along with some that are just openers. *Potential weather issues in Baltimore, Philadelphia and Minnesota(keep an eye on these prior to lock). PITCHERS Justin Verlander Verlander has been dominate this year. Double digit strike outs in 8 of his last 10 games and 2 of those were against the As. Pitching is rough tonight and can play Verlander with some Rays bats. VALUE ARM Tyler Mahle Cheap option with a solid matchup vs a Mariners team that stokes out at a 27% clip vs RHP. Dark Horse Clay Buchholz Definitely a risky play vs the Red Sox, but as of late they have not shown up much at all. Betts has hit the ball well but over all the team is hitting .195 with a 25K rate vs RHP(14 day time-frame). Buchholz started his career with the Sox so maybe a little revenge is in play. Potential for 5 innings 1-2 ERs and 5 Ks. Willing to take a risk on a smaller slate with limited options. Especially in a 2nd lineup. TEAM/S Houston Astros vs Homer Bailey Bailey has been good as of late, but is in a rough spot tonight vs the Astros who already beat him up earlier this year. They also matchup up well vs his pitch type. Springer, Altuve, Bregman and Alvarez all hit the splitter well. *Springer, Altuve, Bregman, Diaz and Maldonado or Chirinos. Phillies/Braves game- Potential weather issues(Keep and eye on game prior to lock). Can see this as a high scoring game. Braves hit well vs LHP. *Braves vs Smyly- Acuna, Albies, Freeman, Donaldson, Duvall(value). *Phillies vs Teheran- Dickerson, Harper, Hoskins, Realmuto, Miller(value). Solid value with some of these plays. Value- TB Rays Nice Park shift for the Rays. Gracia is leading off with Meadows and Pham 2/3. All 3 are in good spots vs a LHP. Meadows sneaky with LvL. Bottom of order in play as well Aguilar, Duffy, Robertson & Zunino all very cheap. Best weather on the slate and Rays for well with Verlander. VALUE BATS Randal Grichuk Jackie Bradley Jr.- matches up well vs Buchholz. Logan Forsythe Abraham Toro Austin Riley Curt Casali

MLB DFS Flyballs and Fastballs 9/7 MAIN
11 games tonight with no major weather issues. Nice weather in Atlanta. PITCHERS Chris Bassett Bassett has been solid most of the year and prior to his last start he has gone 6+ innings in 6 of 7 starts. He gets a nice matchup vs the Tigers tonight with a current lineup that strikes out close to 30% vs RHP. The wind is blowing out at 15 MPH, but this Tiger lineup has limited power and the larger park should help as well. Looking at 6-7 innings with a run and 7 Ks. Joey Lucchesi This year Lucchessi has been very good at home limiting batters to under a HR/9 with a 2.84 ERA. He faces a Rockies team that continues to struggle on the road vs LHP striking out at a 30% clip. Also consider: Justin Verlander – highest priced arm with the highest upside. Double digit Ks in 8 of last 9 games. VALUE ARM Jeff Hoffman This is more about how bad the Padres have been as of late. 27% K rate and .212 average vs RHP over the last 30 days. Cheap option that should go 5 innings, 3 ERs and 6 Ks. I do like some if the Padres bats but think he does well enough to pay off his salary. Dark Horse Aaron Brooks Brooks has actually pitched well in his last 3 game. He does better vs LHHs with close to a 50% ground ball rate and a higher K rate. The Rangers have not hit well vs RHP over the past 30 days with a .222 average and 25% K rate. I don’t think he comes out of this clean, but can see him going 5 innings aloqita run or 2 and striking out 6. TEAM/S Oakland As vs Jordan Zimmerman The As are at home tonight vs Zimmerman who has actually been decent as of late, but the As have a lot of power in the lineup and the wind is blowing out at 15 MPH. Just about everyone in the lineup has over a .200 ISO vs RHP on the year. *Chapman, Olson, Canha and Brown with Khris Davis for value. Atlanta Braves vs Austin Voth The Braves are at home with 90 degree weather and some wind blowing out. Braves have hit well at home vs RHP as of late. *Acuna, Albies, Freeman, Donaldson with Riley as value play. **The Dodgers also have a good matchups as well and can be considered *Pederson, Pollack, Smith, Seager -These players are not listed below. CATCHER Josh Phegley Chirinos or Maldonado Austin Hedges 1B Paul Goldschmidt Josh Bell Pete Alonso Ohtani 2B Jose Altuve Tommy Edman Al Diaz 3B Alex Bregman JD Davis Manny Machado SS Paul Dejong- hit well in Pitt this year. MLB DFS Fastballs & Flyballs 9/5/2019
Small 7 game slate and I have 2 pitchers that I have listed. Both are in the value range, which allows more higher priced bats. Means has the potential for 20+ FPs in this matchup tonight and Pruitt could see 15-18. PITCHERS VALUE ARMS Jon Means Means has done a good job limiting power and HC to hitters from both sides of the plate. In his last 2 starts Means went 14 innings allowing 3 runs and striking out 11 hitters. Tonight he gets a Rangers team that struggles vs LHP and strikes out at a 26% clip. Looking at 6 innings, 1 ER and 7Ks. Austin Pruitt Over the last 2 games Pruitt has pitched 5+ innings and thrown around 80 pitches in each. He has been much better to LHHs limiting them in most categories and striking them out at a 25% clip. Keeps the ball on the ground around 50% of the time. Tonight he faces a Blue Jays Teams that has been cold as of late with a .216 average, 26% K rate and ranked 25th in HRs vs RHP over the last 14 days. TEAM/S Boston Red Sox vs Martin Perez Perez started out the season well, but has been all over the place as of late. Red Sox hit well vs LHP and should tee off on him tonight. Mookie Betts leads the way with Bogaerts coming in next. JD Martinez has crushed LHP this year as well and Sam Travis has shown to hit LHP as well. *Betts, Bogaerts, Martinez, Travis, JBJ or Leon Chicago Cubs vs Chase Anderson Anderson is a reverse splits pitcher who gets hammered by RHH’s. Can look at players like Castellanos, Baez. Bryant, Contreras and would add in Rizzo. Low Ownership Baltimore Orioles Os are hitting .319 vs LHP over the past 14 days. They have 5 hitters with a .200+ ISO. *Mancini, Trumbo, Santander, Severino Few combos and one offs *Ryan Braun/Yasmani Grandal *Max Kepler/Polanco or Rosario/Cron *Josh Bell VALUE BATS Jake Marisnick Mark Trumbo Ryan ZimmerDong Dylan Moore Neil Walker Starlin Castro
