Geno Smith OVER 24.5 Pass Completions (+100)

The Seattle Seahawks’ defense has been struggling, and this Sunday they’ll try to contain an Atlanta Falcons offense that’s been on fire, scoring 74 points in the last two games. Spoiler: I don’t expect Seattle to pull it off, which means Geno Smith will be airing it out to keep the Seahawks in the game.

Falcons’ opponents have completed 26+ passes in three of their last four games, and Atlanta’s defensive strategy seems to be: bend, don’t break. They play zone coverage at the third-highest rate in the league, allowing the highest completion percentage, but also limiting teams to the fifth-lowest yards per attempt and sixth-lowest air yards per attempt.

On top of that, Atlanta’s pass rush is almost non-existent, generating pressure at the second-lowest rate in the NFL (14%), which means Geno Smith should have plenty of time to sit back and dink-and-dunk his way down the field.

Smith, by the way, leads the NFL in pass attempts and completions, even though he ranks 27th in average depth of target among starting QBs. He’s more than happy to chip away methodically, and it’s working—he’s topped this completion mark in five straight games, averaging 31 per game during that stretch.

At even money, I’m all in on Geno topping this number again.

Fantasy Football Start ‘Em Sit ‘Em Week 7

Fantasy Football Start ‘Em Sit ‘Em Week 7 With all our adversity, this 2024 season is humming along. We’re approaching the season’s mid-point, and getting these wins is crucial. Our Fantasy Football Start ‘Em Sit ‘Em Week 7 will help you find the optimal starts and sits to consider. Subsequently, our Fantasy Football Start ‘Em Sit ‘Em Week 7 will help you navigate that turbulence to pick a winning lineup this week. Additionally, FullTime Fantasy has some of the top tools of the trade and accurate rankings. Quarterbacks  Start ‘Em Sam Darnold (Minnesota Vikings) vs. Detroit Sam Darnold came out of the gates on fire this season, ranking fourth in fantasy points among quarterbacks through the first four weeks. However, he stumbled in Week 5 against a tough New York Jets secondary before the Vikings hit their bye.  The Lions, Minnesota’s Week 7 opponent, use zone coverage at one of the highest rates in the league, which could spell trouble as Darnold has struggled with zone. With the Vikings favored by only 2.5 points, we might see Darnold needing to air it out frequently. I see a bounce back with a heavy dose of Justin Jefferson. Anthony Richardson (Indianapolis Colts) vs. Miami All signs point to Anthony Richardson making his return in Week 7, and if he’s on your roster, it would take an elite option to justify sitting him. The young quarterback has enormous potential. In his first four NFL appearances, he was averaging over 25 fantasy points per game. Even though he’s battled injuries and had some recent struggles, his dual-threat ability as both a passer and runner keeps his upside intact. Facing the Dolphins may not look like the most favorable matchup on paper, but Miami’s defense isn’t a brick wall by any means. If you have Richardson, it’s worth taking the risk. Sit ‘Em Kyler Murray (Arizona Cardinals) vs. L.A. Chargers Kyler Murray has had a tough season, managing fewer than 16.8 fantasy points in four of six games. He’s becoming hard to trust in single-QB leagues. Heading into Week 7 against the Chargers, Murray might also be without top target Marvin Harrison Jr., who’s dealing with a concussion. The Chargers have been stingy against quarterbacks, allowing only two to score more than 15 fantasy points all season. If Harrison can’t suit up, Murray is best left in Superflex or two-QB leagues this week. Justin Herbert (LA Chargers) vs. Arizona Justin Herbert’s fantasy value has been frustratingly low this season, which is why he continues to land in the “Sit” category. His season-high of 13.7 fantasy points came in Week 6, but it’s been a struggle, with Herbert only surpassing 180 passing yards for the first time last week. The offense simply doesn’t lean on him enough, and with just six passing touchdowns in five games, the upside isn’t there. He’s better left on the bench unless you’re desperate. Running Backs Start ‘Em Tank Bigsby (Jacksonville Jaguars) vs. New England (in London) With Travis Etienne dealing with a hamstring issue and unlikely to suit up for Week 7 in London, Tank Bigsby is stepping into the spotlight as a must-start RB2. The Patriots have allowed six running backs to rack up at least 14.1 PPR points this season, and five backs have managed to gain 77 or more total yards against New England over their last three outings. Bigsby will share the backfield with D’Ernest Johnson, who could be considered a flex play, but Bigsby is primed to handle 15+ touches. That workload should yield a strong fantasy performance across all formats. Chase Brown (Cincinnati Bengals) at Cleveland Chase Brown is quickly emerging as the Bengals’ lead back. Last week marked the first time he led the team in early-down snaps, and he’s put up impressive numbers recently, with 179 yards and three touchdowns on 37 carries over the last three games. The Bengals are slated to face the Browns, a team allowing 4.7 yards per carry, which ranks among the worst in the league. With Cincinnati favored by 6.5 points, expect them to lean on the run, and Brown could deliver big numbers. Sit ‘Em Zack Moss (Cincinnati Bengals) at Cleveland Zack Moss started the season with steady volume, seeing 9-15 carries per game, but over the last two weeks, he’s seen his workload shrink to just 15 carries for 37 yards. Chase Brown is cutting into his touches, and Moss’s lack of efficiency isn’t helping his case. While the matchup against the Browns isn’t bad, the limited workload makes it hard to trust him in Week 7. James Conner (Arizona Cardinals) vs. LA Chargers James Conner’s status for Week 7 is in question after suffering an ankle injury in Week 6. Even if he’s active, this matchup against the Chargers could be problematic. L.A. has given up just one rushing touchdown to running backs this season, and if Marvin Harrison Jr. (concussion) is sidelined, the Chargers’ defense will likely focus on shutting down Conner. He’s a risky RB2 at best this week. Wide Receivers Start ‘Em Diontae Johnson (Carolina Panthers) at Washington Diontae Johnson has been thriving with Andy Dalton under center, averaging 11 targets, 77 receiving yards, and a hefty 18 FPPG over the last four games. He’s found the end zone three times in that span and leads the league with eight end-zone targets since the QB switch. Now, he faces a Commanders defense that has given up five 20+ fantasy point performances to wide receivers in six games. Washington has also allowed the sixth-most yards and the most touchdowns to receivers, making Johnson a must-start in Week 7. JuJu Smith-Schuster (Kansas City Cheifs) at San Francisco JuJu Smith-Schuster had a standout performance in Week 5 against the Saints, catching seven of eight targets for 130 yards, and now he’ll take on the 49ers fresh off the bye. San Francisco has been vulnerable to receivers this season, allowing six wideouts to notch at least 12.8 PPR points. With Patrick Mahomes likely

Thursday Night Football Preview: Week 7

Only in a season as cruel as 2024 would we have to sit through…Bo Nix vs. Spencer Rattler. No, seriously. We have to pay for it and everything. Lamentably, duty calls and even bad football is still football. The FullTime Fantasy Thursday Night Football Preview: Week 7 breaks down all the fantasy-relevant players in this Denver Broncos at New Orleans Saints matchup.

Losers of four straight, the New Orleans Saints are reeling. The team that started 2-0 and outscored their opponents 91-29 is barely represented on the field in Week 7. The Saints are missing their quarterback, both wideouts and have other injury concerns.

Meanwhile, the Broncos seem fortunate to be 3-3 with their offensive struggles. Denver started 0-2 before rattling off three straight wins against the Buccaneers, Jets, and Raiders. However, things fell back to earth last week with a poor showing against the Chargers.

Unsurprisingly, the Saints opened as 4-point favorites. However, we’ve seen a massive shift as the Broncos are now 2.5-point favorites.

The opening line has also seen a precipitous dip, falling a full four points from his opening total of 41.5 points.

Matchup

TEAM OFFENSE PASS RUSH YDS/PLAY POINTS
Denver Broncos 29 26 18 28 22
New Orleans Saints 18 17 12 18 4

Seeing the Saints rank competently in offense is a bit of a surprise. However, most of that production came in the season’s first two weeks when the Saints were rolling. Since then, injuries and fading quarterback play have tanked the Saints’ attack.

Additionally, the New Orleans defense has struggled. The Saints have lost four straight games to drop to 2-4. And the injury woes that decimated the Saints’ offense have also taken a toll on the defense. New Orleans ranks 30th against the pass and next to last in surrendering yards per play.

Conversely, the Denver offense has been one of the worst units in football all season. This was not expected starting a rookie quarterback who rarely pushed the ball downfield in college. Only four teams are averaging fewer yards per play than Sean Payton’s Broncos.

Things have been much better for Denver on the other side of the ball. The Broncos’ defense ranks sixth overall and versus the pass. This is a formidable unit that will make it hard for the Saints to mount much offense in Spencer Rattler’s second start in four days.

Week 7 Sleepers & Emerging Players

MiWeek 7 Sleepers, Potential-Emergent Players, and Opportunistic Plays This article is contributed by Brad Kruse This column is NOT intended to provide Week 7 waiver claims lists. Instead, the purpose is to look at young players whose opportunity could emerge and should be monitored. I will also look at potential injury replacement players with my Week 7 Sleepers.  My goal is to help look around corners for the season which might give some ideas for pre-emptive adds to your roster. 2024 has been a bit of a rollercoaster with all the injuries and enticing flashes of many rookies. Young Running Backs and Their Opportunity Status Chase Brown: Brown again out-performed Zach Moss on the ground in Week 6. Perhaps his higher usage was due to a Moss fumble; yet Brown also fumbled the ball. Brown had 10 carries for 53 yards and a touchdown in this game. Moss only logged six carries for 13 yards without finding the endzone. Brown also out-targeted Moss 2:1. Brown is separating himself from Moss in this offense.  Braelon Allen: The Jets’ rushing attack looked better last night. However, one of the wrinkles to the changes the Jets made on offense was to increase Hall’s snaps compared with Allen. Allen only ended up with three carries and two targets without a catch. Allen did have a touchdown called back due to a holding penalty, unfortunately.  Roschon Johnson: Johnson continued in his role as a third-down back and short-yardage back. Johnson did collect two catches on three targets this week for 25 yards. But no touchdowns on his five-carry eight-yard ground performance. His ceiling performances are low with Swift dominating the action on the ground and through the air. But, Johnson does have good contingent value as the likely lead RB if Swift were to miss time. Jaylen Wright: Miami returns from BYE in Week 7 with each of their running backs healthy. This will be a test to see if Wright has moved up the depth chart. He started the year as a healthy scratch, but he’s taken advantage of his opportunities over the last four weeks to turn in 29 carries for 139 scoreless yards. That’s a solid 4.79 yards per carry. If he can split the work with Achane and not cede too much work to Mostert, he could become playable and still have strong contingent value if Achane were to miss more time this year. Wright is one of the better backup running backs to own going forward. Tank Bigsby: Bigsby is playing great this year. Bigsby’s hot streak took a somewhat surprising step back in Week 6. Etienne went down with an injury, yet D’Ernest Johnson led the way in action from the running back position. As I alluded to a couple of weeks ago, this was likely game script-dependent. The Jaguars fall behind and Johnson picks up the passing down action with Etienne out of the game. Bigsby should lead in normal and positive game scripts while Etienne recovers from his injury. Bucky Irving: Irving stepped in for White in Week 6 matchup with the Saints. He continued to run well gaining 81 yards on 14 carries (5.8 yards/carry) including a touchdown. He also collected two catches for 24 yards. The surprise was that Sean Tucker, running as the RB2 for the week split carries and gained 136 yards on 14 carries (9.7 yards/carry) including a touchdown, and caught three balls for 56 yards and another touchdown. Tucker was a draft sleeper last season after falling out of the draft with a heart condition. He was eventually cleared and signed with Tampa Bay but failed to make a significant impact. Irving quickly supplanted him as the RB2 this year. But, Tucker put on a show and the coach has indicated he deserves a role in this offense. Let’s hope this doesn’t dissolve into a three-way committee once White returns. But there appear to be two young RBs who you could play in lineups in Week 7 vs Baltimore. Ray Davis: Monday night we saw a head fake with James Cook shifting from expected to play to OUT. It was then talked about how Ty Johnson would have some sort of revenge game vs the Jets who had previously cut him. Taylor even got the first carry, but Davis then picked up most of the action gaining 97 yards on 20 rushes, and led the Bills with 55 receiving yards on his three receptions. Davis showed he belongs in this offense, and it will be interesting to see if he can carve out a strong enough role once Cook returns. Young Breakout Receivers Second Year Players Jayden Reed: Week 6 saw Reed run 60% of the routes with Doubs’ and Watson’s return. He collected six receptions for 28 scoreless yards and a touchdown. This was somewhat of a muted output for Reed, but he continues to be the focal point of the offense. Dontayvion Wicks: Wicks did not deliver on his promise in Week 6. He only ran 17% of the routes before succumbing to injury. He did get a surprising 50% target per route run for a sub-optimal 1.50 yards per route run. Wicks is reportedly week to week so you may have to be a pit patient to see if he’ll re-emerge onto the fantasy landscape. Zay Flowers: Flowers was featured in Week 6 running 97% of the team’s routes and earning a 31% targets per route run metric while delivering 4.55 yards per route run. For the week, Flowers delivered nine catches for 132 scoreless yards. Another solid fantasy day for Flowers. Flowers is having a secondary breakout season in his sophomore campaign. Jaxon Smith-Njigba: JSN continues to float around the start line in dual flex leagues. He secured 21% targets per route run while running 81% of the routes. His 1.23 yards per route run was unencouraging. His fantasy day of five receptions for 53 yards and no touchdowns on nine targets gives fantasy managers an

Finally, FullTime Fantasy Members will get the latest NFL injury news and advice live each Sunday and Thursday in the FullTime Fantasy Discord. Click below to join us today!   James Cook (RB) Buffalo Bills – A sneaky toe injury caused Cook to be inactive on Monday. In his absence, Ray Davis put up 152 scrimmage yards. There’s a good chance the Bills try to lighten Cook’s load and give Davis more opportunities moving forward. We will monitor Cook’s practice participation all week. Marvin Harrison Jr. (WR) Arizona Cardinals – Harrison suffered a concussion early in Arizona’s Week 6 loss. He still must clear the league’s concussion protocol. This typically takes around eight days, so his Week 7 status is doubtful. Aaron Jones (RB) Minnesota Vikings – Good news for Jones and the Vikings coming out of their Week 6 bye. Aaron Jones returned to practice Monday and looked good. Therefore, we expect him to suit up in Week 7. And even better news for Minnesota, TE T.J. Hockenson was also seen at practice. The club opened Hockenson’s 21-day window, so it appears his return is imminent.   Vikings practicing today, light session out of the bye week. T.J. Hockenson and Dalton Risner both participating while still on I.R. Aaron Jones (hip) here, too, with a helmet. pic.twitter.com/YnASfTeXtI — Andrew Krammer (@Andrew_Krammer) October 14, 2024   Jonathan Taylor (RB) Indianapolis Colts – Taylor has now missed two games with a high-ankle sprain. He could return in Week 7 or 8. Rachaad White (RB) Tampa Bay Buccaneers – After Sean Tucker’s performance, Rachaad White’s days as Tampa’s lead back are probably over. White sat last week with a mid-foot injury only so have Tucker and Bucky Irving both have strong performances. We’re expecting the Bucs to utilize a three-man backfield moving forward. Therefore, White is only an RB3/flex option when he returns, which could be Week 7 or Week 8. Chris Olave (WR) New Orleans Saints – An early concussion also forced Olave to miss most of Week 6. Additionally, with the Saints playing on Thursday, Olave will miss Week 7. Rashid Shaheed (WR) New Orleans Saints – Another blow for the injury-ravaged Saints. Shaheed injured his knee in the fourth quarter. There is concern that Shaheed will miss “some time.” That leaves the Saints very thin on short rest. Bub Means becomes an intriguing waiver wire target. Travis Etienne (RB) Jacksonville Jaguars – Etienne is projected to miss 2-3 weeks with a hamstring injury. Therefore, it’s officially Tank #SZN in Jacksonville, or rather London this Sunday. Tyjae Spears (RB) Tennessee Titans – Similar to Travis Etienne, Spears is projected to miss multiple games with a fairly significant hamstring ailment. This solidifies Tony Pollard as a strong RB2 with weekly RB1 upside. Nick Chubb (RB) Cleveland Browns – Chubb is expected to make his 2024 debut after missing more than a year with a devastating knee injury. However, teammate Jerome Ford will not play with a hamstring injury. Ford’s absence puts Chubb in a position to lead the backfield right away. Jordan Mason (RB) San Francisco – Mason exited Thursday’s game with a shoulder injury. However, he did return to take one second-half handoff before leaving. With the extra three days to recover, Mason is in a better position to be ready to play, as it’s a pain tolerance issue. Christian McCaffrey is also getting closer to playing, which will all but destroy Mason’s value. Cooper Kupp (WR) Los Angeles Rams – Some positive news for a change. Rams’ superstar wideout Cooper Kupp returned to practice and is trending toward a return. However, teammate Puka Nacua is not expected to return for another week or two. #Rams WR Cooper Kupp, attempting to return from a high-ankle sprain, had a positive workout today and his return this week is at least possible, sources say. The next step is to see when he practices and how it goes. The team will gather more info, but today presented good news. pic.twitter.com/hX6ZmoI3ex — Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) October 15, 2024 Anthony Richardson (QB) Indianapolis Colts – A surprise inactive late Sunday, Richardson (oblique) is expected to return in Week 7. Malik Nabers (WR) New York Giants – Nabers has now missed two games with a concussion. However, there is optimism that he will suit up in Week 7. We will update his practice participation throughout the week. Taysom Hill (TE) New Orleans Saints – Hill (rib) returned to a limited practice session on Monday. His return would be a boost for the Saints. Dontayvion Wicks (WR) Green Bay Packers – Expected to miss 1-2 weeks with a shoulder injury. Gus Edwards (RB) Los Angeles Chargers – Edwards was placed on IR with a knee injury. He will be out for a minimum of four games. Ricky Pearsall (WR) San Francisco 49ers – San Francisco opened the 21-day practice window for Pearsall. Matthew Wright (PK) San Francisco 49ers – One week after losing Jake Moody, the Niners had to sign Anders Carlson to replace their replacement. Wright hurt his shoulder trying to make a tackle. Carlson hasn’t been good. However, he is a solid streaming option for a San Fran offense that leads the NFL in kicking points.     ENTER OUR WEEK 7 DRAFT CONTEST! A deeper dive reveals that thanks to favorites dominating the slate, the contest witnessed the top-six most chosen teams all winning for the first time this year as the Ravens, Falcons, Texans, and Buccaneers won by a combined margin of 160-91. While 97.7% of the remaining entrants were able to advance, five contestants did unfortunately land on the only two favorites to be upset (Tennessee and Jacksonville). Entrants CAN NOT use the same team more than once during the season.  In the race for $14,266,000 – the biggest Survivor prize in history – those who have advanced will likely be heavily backing: Buffalo (-8.5) vs Tennessee, Washington (-7.5) vs Carolina, and Cincinnati (-6) at Cleveland. Navigating the Week 7 terrain will not be easy as after those moderate chalk favorites, 11 of the remaining 12 games (91.7%) have a point spread of 3.5 points or less. While those who survived and advanced can take a deep breath, the relief will not last long as the anxiety will return in just a few days.  Want more evidence that stress levels will reach a fever pitch? Backing home teams is often looked upon as the best strategy, however in Week 6 road favorites went 8-0 SU and ATS. Looking ahead, four teams (Cincinnati, Philadelphia, Baltimore, and Chargers) enter the week as small road favorites.  From a betting perspective, favorites hold a sizable 61-31 SU (66.3%) and 47-42-3 ATS (52.8%) edge. Road teams are 47-42 SU (52.8%) (three international games) while owning a profitable 51-35-3 ATS (59.3%) mark. “Any. Given. Sunday”. Good Luck! Ty Chandler (RB) Minnesota Vikings – Because the Vikings were off this week we have not gotten updates on Aaron Jones. If Jones can play, Chandler loses a lot of luster. However, if Jones is out, Chandler has a clear path to a 15-20-touch role in Week 7. Granted, that comes against the Lions’ top-ranked run defense. But being a to procure a starting running back, even for a week, makes Chandler worth a sizable FAAB bid.

For the fourth time in five weeks, we had a profitable weekend of wagering. We were one Terry McLaurin dropped pass from a 6-1 slate but we’ll have to suffice for a 5-2 record in Week 5. Still, due to our triple-unit bet on Jayden Reed, we had a massive +3.8-Unit week and are now +7.0 units and 21-13 on the season as we gear up for Week 6 NFL Player Props.

Remember to always odds shop at your different sportsbooks to find the best value for these props. With that in mind, let’s get down to business and find the best Week 6 NFL Player Props!

Jayden Daniels OVER 223.5 Passing Yards (-110)

This game boasts a 51.5-point total, the second-highest on the slate. The Commanders’ rookie QB is off to a scorching start, and the numbers back it up. The Ravens have been giving up an NFL-worst 304 passing yards per game to opposing quarterbacks, and Daniels has exceeded expectations four games in a row with 226, 254, 233, and 238 yards against the Giants, Bengals, Cardinals, and Browns, respectively.

Offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury has been dialing up game plans that make life as smooth as possible for Daniels, and there’s no reason to think that will change in this matchup. Expect the rookie to stay hot and capitalize on a vulnerable Ravens defense! Baltimore put up a massive 41 points in Week 5 so expect Daniels to air it out in an attempt to keep up with Lamar Jackson and company. I may even sprinkle an extra unit on this wager as I expect Baltimore to shut down the run but struggle in the secondary.
