Visionary Plays for Week 13

Quarterbacks

Jared Goff — Vegas thinks the Rams are going to score 32.5 points this week which means that Goff should have at least two TDs to add to his terrific season. He could be too chalky in DFS, but in seasonal is a solid start.

Patrick Mahomes — He’s heading towards one of the all-time greatest seasons by a QB EVER and he gets to play the hapless Raiders. It doesn’t get any better than this.

Jameis Winston — Jameis can be really sloppy with he football, but every so often he has a lucid moment where he looks outstanding. The Panthers secondary is struggling right now, and you know that Jameis will challenge them deep with Mike Evans and across the middle with Cameron Brate. If your stomach can handle it, he could be a great play.

Ben Roethlisberger — Ben at home on a Sunday night game in Primetime—these are the moments he lives for and I think this game will be one of the highest totals of the weekend.

Jeff Driskel — If you are looking for the ultimate punt play, look no further than Driskel. He’s looked halfway decent every time he’s filled in for Dalton this season and Denver just let up close to 500 yards passing to the Steelers last week. A.J. Green is due back which should make the Bengals offense as balanced (and healthy) as it has been all season).

Running Backs

Kareem Hunt — Should be a lock for 20-25 touches and over 100+ yards from scrimmage against the Raiders who have packed it in.

Christian McCaffrey — CMC is playing as good or better than any RB in the NFL right now. He is working his way towards Fantasy MVP status. Even better for his owners is that Cam seems to be sharing the ball with him by the goal line.

Todd Gurley — There is no way the Lions keep Gurley under 100-yards rushing.

Aaron Jones — The Cardinals placed their best run stopper, LB Josh Byrnes, onto IR this week. The only person who can screw up Jones’ great game could be Packers HC Mike McCarthy if he decides to not give him the ball.

Phillip Lindsay — The Bengals have been letting up points in droves and Lindsay is clearly the Broncos best running back (and most exciting player). He not only dominates running the football, but he should have 4-5 catches as well.

Lamar Miller — I really don’t like Miller but he’s playing at such a high level right now that it is almost impossible to not use him.

LeSean McCoy — Miami’s major weakness is their run defense and considering the fact that Josh Allen is still struggling throwing the ball, I expect Shady to have about 25 touches in this game.

Austin Ekeler — No Melvin Gordon should mean about 15-20 touches from Ekeler in a high scoring game on Sunday night. He is a must start in PPR formats as Rivers will use him often as a receiver out of the backfield.

Carlos Hyde — I have never been a big fan of Hyde, but with Fournette out for the week, he will be the first and second down RB and has the best chance to score a short yardage TD.

Frank Gore — The Bills run defense has been their Achilles heel all season and I expect Miami to take advantage of that fact and run the ball heavily. Kenyan Drake got dinged up last game, so Gore might get more than his usual 12-15 carries.

Wide Recievers

Tyreek Hill — He’s Mahomes’ big play receiver and he is too fast for the Raiders secondary.

Davante Adams — He might be shadowed by Petersen, but he always finds a way to get open regardless of coverage.

Adam Thielen — Thielen has been shockingly good this season. My biggest question in this game is who Gilmore will be covering. If he covers Diggs, then Thielen is the best WR play of the week.

Brandin Cooks — Cooks should be able to make at least one big play against a Lions defense that looks like it has quit.

Kenny Golladay — With Marvin Jones out for the season, Golladay is now Stafford’s top option and should see double-digit targets in this game. I am slightly concerned about the return of CB Aqib Talib for the Rams, but Golladay is so strong and positions himself perfectly towards the ball that it should not matter who covers him.

DJ Moore — It took about 10 weeks, but Moore finally turned into the sensation that people were expecting when the Panthers drafted him. He’s gotten better with each week, and Cam’s confidence in him is evident. The sky is the limit for him.

Adam Humphries — He’s a grinder, but Jameis loves throwing him the football. I can see him getting another 12-14 Fantasy points in this game.

Courtland Sutton — I could argue that Sutton is the forgotten man in the Broncos offense. With the Bengals paying close attention to Emmanuel Sanders, Sutton should see some one-on-one chances and has the size and strength to make big catches in the red zone.

Tight Ends

David Njoku — I cannot emphasize how badly the Texans cover the tight end. Njoku excelled last week; Baker should be able to find him again this week.

Austin Hooper — The Ravens have a terrific defense, but they have struggled over the past month covering the tight end. Hooper is someone Ryan looks to in crucial situations and I have no doubt he makes at least two or three big catches.

Cameron Brate — The Panthers have ben pathetic covering opposing TEs and Jameis loves throwing to Brate in the red zone. He should be a lock to play at his price on FD.

Eric Ebron — Ebron does have a difficult matchup against the Jaguars, but with Doyle out for the season, he should see the bulk of the red zone targets.
