Week 7 Start/Sit: Tight Ends

Week 7 is here, and the fantasy landscape is starting to stabilize — or completely unravel, depending on your roster. With injuries piling up and bye weeks creating chaos, finding the right start/sit edge can make all the difference.

STARTS

Harold Fannin Jr. stepped up in David Njoku’s absence, leading the Browns in routes, targets, and receptions last week. If Njoku remains sidelined, Fannin projects for another heavy workload against a Miami defense that ranks bottom-10 versus tight ends. He’s a strong plug-and-play option.

Darren Waller has become a red-zone favorite in Miami, scoring four touchdowns in three games. He’s leading the team in end-zone targets and now faces a Browns defense that’s allowed the third-most scores to TEs. His role and scoring potential make him a weekly starter.

SITS

T.J. Hockenson has provided minimal upside, topping 10 points just once and averaging under six targets per game since Jordan Addison’s return. The Eagles have allowed the third-fewest fantasy points to tight ends, making Hockenson a fade in this matchup.

Juwan Johnson’s target share has collapsed, with just nine total looks over the last three games. With Taysom Hill stealing snaps and Kamara dominating short routes, Johnson’s ceiling and floor are both too low to justify starting.
