Here’s your concise look from FullTime Fantasy at the biggest Week 4 injury developments and the best ways to attack the wire ahead of Week 5.

Week 4 Injury Report

Lamar Jackson (QB – BAL) Left Week 4 with a hamstring concern; status for Week 5 will depend on early-week testing/participation. Cooper Rush would presumably get the nod if Lamar misses time and Henry usage would surely see a boost.

Malik Nabers (WR – NYG) Sustained a serious knee injury in Week 4 and was carted off. MRI confirmed torn ACL and Nabers will miss the rest of the year.

Ricky Pearsall (WR – SF) DNP on Tuesday. Pearsall went down in the third quarter and briefly tried to return. However, he was listed as questionable after being evaluated for a knee injury. Despite testing the knee on the sideline in hopes of rejoining the action, he ultimately decided to sit out the rest of the game.
After the 49ers’ loss, Pearsall revealed why he opted not to push through the injury. “I was testing it out,” Pearsall said postgame. “I fell pretty hard on that one play on the sideline, trying to keep my feet in bounds, and I fell pretty hard on my knee. And I was just feeling pain and a little bit of instability, so I wasn’t trying to really mess with it.” – Jennings, Bourne and Robinson would all see boosts to their usage.

Jauan Jennings (WR – SF) (ankle/ribs) DNP on Tuesday.

Bucky Irving (RB – TB) Buccaneers coach Todd Bowles said Bucky Irving will undergo an MRI on Monday. Bowles admitted that Irving was one of the injured players he was “concerned” about. Rachaad White and Sean Tucker are next up with White already enjoying a 40% snap share.

Terry McLaurin (WR – WAS) McLaurin missed week 4 and Commanders coach Dan Quinn said Monday that McLaurin (quadriceps) is among injured players who are “are trending in the right direction,” JP Finlay of NBC Sports Washington reports.

Calvin Ridley (WR – TEN) Coach Brian Callahan said Monday that Ridley had his snaps dialed back during Sunday’s loss to the Texans due an undisclosed injury, Jim Wyatt of the Titans’ official site reports.

Braelon Allen (RB – NYJ) suffered an MCL sprain during Monday’s loss to the Dolphins and will likely be placed on injured reserve, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported. Allen is expected to seek additional opinions on his knee injury, but a move to IR would sideline him for at least four games. Isiah Davis becomes a hot pickup to serve as a pass catching RB2.

Tyjae Spears (RB – TEN) The Titans are expected to open Spears’ (ankle) 21-day practice window this week, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

D’Andre Swift (RB – CHI) Hip issue left him questionable, but he played and handled even more than his normal lead role. (Snaps up from 61% to 66%). If there’s any setback this week, Kyle Monangai and Roschon Johnson would split work.

Najee Harris (RB – LAC) Placed on IR (Achilles). Rookie Omarion Hampton projects as a rest-of-season workhorse; Hassan Haskins and Kimani Vidal mix in behind him.

CeeDee Lamb (WR – DAL) Remained out for SNF (ankle). Expected to miss at least one more week. Jalen Tolbert and KaVontae Turpin to see elevated routes/targets; Jake Ferguson and the backs should absorb volume.

Mike Evans (WR – TB) Out (hamstring) during Week 4 and expected to miss multiple games. Chris Godwin (ankle) made his season debut; rookie Emeka Egbuka and Sterling Shepard round out the top three.

Cedric Tillman (WR – CLE) (hamstring) was placed on injured reserve. With the news that Dillon Gabriel is getting the start over Flacco, the Cleveland WR2 job is up in the air. Jamari Thrash is next man up, but the Tight Ends (Njoku and Fannin) look to see significant bumps.

Terry McLaurin (WR – WAS) Missed Week 4 game (quad) and likely out for at least one more game. Washington’s WR depth gets tested; veteran Zach Ertz could see extra targets.

Tyreek Hill (WR – MIA) suffered multiple torn ligaments in his dislocated knee, including his ACL, in Monday’s win over the Jets, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported. Hill underwent season-ending surgery on Tuesday. Per NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero, Hill’s agent Drew Rosenhaus said Hill’s surgery went well and “everything was done with one procedure,” indicating he won’t need future surgery, which was a possibility. The goal, per Rosenhaus, is to be ready for the start of the 2026 season. WR Malik Washington should be rostered as well as TE Darren Waller. For deep leagues, WR Cedrick Wilson is signing with Miami off the Saints’ practice squad following Hill’s injury.

Chuba Hubbard (RB – CAR) Played through questionable designation during Week 4 (managing calf soreness) but keep an eye on Rico Dowdle as next-man-up if there’s any setback. Trevor Eitenne too. Chuba’s snaps were unsurprisingly limited as his snap % went down from 74% to 62% to 50% the past three weeks. He gets Miami next week on a short week for them.

Tyrone Tracy Jr. (RB – NYG) Out (shoulder) for multiple weeks. Rookie Cam Skattebo operated as the No. 1 back (75%) with Devin Singletary (25%) as the No. 2 back.

Will Shipley (RB – PHI) Came off the injury report after an oblique issue; returned to see a 5% snap share as the number 3, even behind AJ Dillon.

Isaiah Likely (TE – BAL) Isaiah Likely made his season debut and played 25 snaps (45%), five less than Mark Andrews. Likely was not targeted by Jackson, though

Michael Mayer (TE – LV) Missed Week 4 (concussion), but has a chance to play in the next contest. Brock Bowers is locked in; Ian Thomas and Albert Okwuegbunam rotate for No. 2.

Noah Fant (TE – CIN) Will miss MNF (concussion). Mike Gesicki and Drew Sample handle most TE snaps.

Justin Fields (QB – NYJ) Cleared concussion protocol and off the injury report for MNF vs. MIA; Tyrod Taylor returns to backup duties.

Brock Purdy (QB – SF) Played with the toe/shoulder issue but new updates lead to uncertainty before Thursday night’s game with the Rams. In fact, the line has shifted from Rams -3, to Rams -5.5 on this news.

Tyler Higbee (TE – LAR)  (hip) did not participate in Tuesday’s walkthrough.

Week 5 Waiver Wire Radar

1. KaVontae Turpin (WR – DAL) Immediate route/target bump with Lamb sidelined; viable WR3/flex for at least one more week.
2. Woody Marks (RB – HOU) Breakout game with HOU in Week 4; overtook Nick Chubb for majority of snaps and touches. Rookie flashed three‑down chops and red‑zone trust in Week 4.
3. Wan’Dale Robinson (WR – LA) Projects for a target spike with the Giants reshuffling at WR after Nabers’ injury. Should thrive in a PPR role with high volume of targets.
4. Kendre Miller (RB – NO) Usage trend is trending towards even between New Orleans running backs; Miller looks like the change‑of‑pace with weekly touchdown equity.
5. Sam Darnold (QB – SEA) Viable streamer option with favorable short‑term matchups and a stable floor.
6. Luke McCaffrey (WR – WAS) Emerging as a reliable chain‑mover with red‑zone looks during McLaurin’s absence; strong value if injuries persist around him.
7. Kyle Monangai (RB – CHI) Contingency stash behind a dinged-up D’Andre Swift; would form a committee with Roschon if Swift suffers a setback.
8. Davis Allen (TE – LA) Touchdown-friendly role if Higbee sits; red-zone usage makes him a top-15 streamer.
9. Kendrick Bourne / Demarcus Robinson (WR – SF) If Pearsall misses time, Bourne and Robinson would both serve as WRs with Jauan Jennings.  Both Bourne (67%) and Robinson (38%) would see increased snap %.

Heads-up on Week 5 byes

GB, PIT, CHI, ATL. Plan replacements now.
