Quarterback

Brees – We found out week 1 that every time they’re at home, we need to play Brees and company. This is going to be a high scoring game, especially if Cleveland can go touchdown for touchdown with New Orleans. Brees at home is a thing, and this is a matchup where we may see 800+ yards of total offense combined.

Cam – Cam in the Georgia Dome, without 2 of Atlanta’s better defensive players. He didn’t play well last week against Dallas, so we may get him lower owned this week.  I love the combo of Cam and CMC this week, and I expect him to score more than one on the ground.

Fitzpatrick – DeSean Jackson was a question mark coming into today, but it looks like he’ll pass concussion protocol and play. That’s great for Tampa, bad for Philly. There’s some revenge narrative as always, so I think FitzMagic and DJax hook up again today. I don’t think we’ll get the massive game like last week, but we’ll get another solid one.

Taylor – This is a game where Tyrod needs to really use his athleticism and just run. It’s not a cake walk matchup as it may seem on paper seeing what Fitzpatrick did to this defense. But, I think Tyrod does play better this week, considering it’s in a Dome and he should complete better than his 40% completions last week. Cleveland just released Josh Gordon, so they feel confident in their receivers.

Low owned stud

Matty Ice I love this game for fantasy purposes and love Ryan’s price on FanDuel. If I’m going all in on Julio, I will definitely stack with Ryan. This is the game Ryan shuts everyone up from last weeks dud.

Others I’m ok with rostering

Tyrod

Tannehill

RUNNING BACK

Kamara – See Brees…….Play every time they’re at home.

Gurley – I have no idea how Arizona will stop this team. Gurley will have 100 yards by half and probably 2 scores.

Hunt – under priced for his skill set, and under priced in a game I think hits the over. Both defenses are terrible, and won’t be able to stop each offense. I think we’ll see Hunt excel in the passing game this week, more so than on the ground.

McCaffery – it’s the Cam and Christian show this week. I love the pairing and think they do all they can to get the ball in his hands this week. Especially love him in the passing game, where I also think they’ll spread him out into the slot.

Cook – Minnesota wins this game big. Rodgers isn’t healthy and neither is DeVante Adams. Minnesota should lean on the run, much like last where where Cook got 80% of the touches. Minnesota also had a let down in the 2nd half, almost letting San Fran come back so Zimmer will have this team running on all cylinders til the clock stops.

Coleman – chalk play of the week with Freeman out the next few weeks. Coleman was already involved in both the running and passing game, so we should see an uptick in touches.

Guys I also like

Thompson

Breida

Miller

Ajayi

WIDE RECEIVERS

Julio – All In on Julio. He’s demolished this Carolina cover 2 in the past, and especially at home.

Brown – This game should hit the over, where I think Hill and Brown go long TD for long TD.

Hill – See above

Sanders/Thomas – I will be on this combo almost every week. Both looked good last week with Case.

Landry – if he doesn’t get 15+ targets this week I’ll be absolutely surprised. With Cleveland letting Gordon go and a game where they’ll need to throw 40+ times, Landry will get peppered with targets. I don’t think New Orleans has anyone who can cover him in the slot.

DJax/Evans – Tampa wins this game, and FitzMagic does this thing again and hits DJax deep. Evans also will be targeted 10+ times.

Other WR I’m ok with

Golladay/Tate

Agholor

Thielen/Diggs

Tight End

Kelce – He was too quiet last week, and gets a plus matchup against a defense I don’t think can cover him. Already mentioned this game hits the over, so fit as many playmakers as possible.

Njoku – with Gordon gone, this is the week to play him. He will dominate the middle of the field this week and I won’t be surprised to see him go for over 100 yards and a score.

Jonnu – Extremely cheap this week, especially with Delanie Walker done for the year. It looks like Gabbert is in line for the start, and will need to relax on Smith over the middle when the Houston pass rush is in his face.

Defense

Jacksonville – I love this team today and think they win this game. Keep an eye on Rex Burkhead. If he clears concussion protocol I’ll bump them down a little bit.

Houston – Looks like Gabbert is starting and they’re already without Walker.

Rams – if Arizona gets 200 total yards of offense I’ll be surprised. They just don’t have the talent, aside of David Johnson to put up points.

Vikings – Rodgers will be limited with his mobility, which has killed Minnesota in the past. If he can’t extend plays, it’s going to be a long game for this Green Bay team.
