Week 9 Start/Sit: Wide Receivers
Here’s who deserves a starting spot in Week 9—and who should stay on the bench.
By FullTime Fantasy
Start
Wan’Dale Robinson
The 49ers come into this game allowing the most yards and third-most touchdowns to the position and Dart should have time to throw and most likely chasing from behind.
Michael Pittman Jr.
Pittman has been excellent, scoring 16 fantasy PPG and posting back-to-back 20-point performances. The Steelers have surrendered the fifth-most fantasy points to receivers and struggle particularly on the outside. Pittman remains a strong start.
Sit
Jameson Williams
Williams and the Lions offense are always dangerous at home, but J-Mo failed to score a single fantasy point on two targets last week. He has topped 6.6 PPR points just twice all season, and three of his last five outings have come with three targets or fewer. He has historically struggled against Minnesota as well. At best, he’s a WR3 in deeper formats.
Courtland Sutton
This matchup for Sutton looks rough. Houston has allowed only three touchdowns to perimeter receivers and just two receivers total have cleared 12.9 points against them. His floor is extremely low this week.
