Fantasy Football Waiver Wire: Week 11

The good news is that the Week 11 bye slate isn’t near as rough as last week’s. However, the bad news is that we are one week closer to the playoffs. That leaves little time left for middle-of-the-pack teams to secure a spot. Knowing which Fantasy Football Waiver Wire: Week 11 players to bid on is one of the best ways to improve your odds of getting an important win in Week 11.

Also, it helps to be proactive with next week’s holiday slate on the horizon. Here are the top fantasy football waiver wire: Week 11 players to add.

FAAB denotes Free Agent Acquisition Budget

Devin Singletary (RB) Houston Texans (15% FAAB) – After a dud game in Week 9, Singletary enters Monday night as the overall RB3. That’s fantasy football. However, there’s a good chance that Singletary can actually usurp Dameon Pierce as Houston’s main runner. Singletary is far more effective in a one-cut zone scheme than Pierce, who is averaging an awful 3.0 yards per carry. Also, the Texans trust Singletary more in the passing game. Both backs are likely to remain involved, but it is Singletary is is trending up. That makes adding him a top priority ahead of Week 11.

Noah Brown (WR) Houston Texans (10% FAAB) – Over the last two weeks, Brown is up there with CeeDee Lamb in receiving yards. However, unlike Lamb, there are legitimate concerns about how long it can last. Nico Collins missed Week 10, opening up the door for Brown to stay in three-wide sets. Once Houston’s top three of Collins, Tank Dell, and Robert Woods (6% FAAB) are back, Brown could see his snaps decrease. Of course, with the way he’s played, maybe Woods will. Therein lies the risk with Brown. That said, he’s worth a healthy FAAB bid.

Ty Chandler (RB) Minnesota Vikings (10% FAAB) – Alexander Mattison suffered a concussion in Week 10. That led to Chandler logging 15 carries, including a red-zone Wildcast snap that resulted in a touchdown. I liked Chandler quite a bit coming out of Tennessee. Minnesota has rotated backs all season, so the odds are good that Chandler will have a weekly role regardless of Mattison’s availability.

Jayden Reed (WR) Green Bay Packers (10% FAAB) – With another 84 yards and a score in Pittsburgh, Reed has now surpassed double-digit fantasy points in three of his past four games. In Week 11, Reed and the Packers have a date with a Chargers secondary that has ceded the fifth-most fantasy points to wide receivers. That makes Reed a good bye-week option for Drake London or Michael Pittman managers.

Josh Dobbs (QB) Minnesota Vikings (10% FAAB) – Dobbs is a top-10 fantasy quarterback for the season and now has a much improved supporting cast in Minnesota. His 368 rushing yards rank second at the position and Dobbs has surpassed 20 fantasy points in three consecutive games- despite only making two starts. Finally, Dobbs is more than just a flier. Minnesota’s next two games come against the Broncos and Bears, who have struggled to stop quarterbacks this season.

Brandin Cooks (WR) Dallas Cowboys (5% FAAB) – The Cowboys are clicking right now and Cooks just posted his best fantasy performance since the 2020 season. We don’t want to chase points, but Cooks has a favorable upcoming schedule per FullTime Fantasy’s Matchup Analyzer.

The Cowboys have the second-easiest upcoming WR schedule per FullTime’s Matchup Analyzer Tool.

Trenton Irwin (WR) Cincinnati Bengals (5% FAAB) – The Bengals are due to play on Thursday. That gives Tee Higgins little time to return to take on the Ravens. If Higgins sits, Irwin will see another boost in playing time. On Sunday, Irwin played 81% of Cincinnati’s snaps and hauled in a 32-yard touchdown reception from Joe Burrow. The Ravens are a tough matchup but Irwin still offers WR4/flex value.

P.J. Walker (QB) Cleveland Browns (5% FAAB) – With the breaking news that Deshaun Watson’s 2023 campaign is over, Walker now becomes a viable QB2 for Superflex managers. There isn’t a ton of upside but Walker can run well to compensate for what will assuredly be lesser passing numbers.

Tyjae Spears (RB) Tennessee Titans (5% FAAB) – Spears has now out-snapped Derrick Henry in three of Tennessee’s last four games. The Titans tend to turn the backfield over to Spears on obvious passing downs. Sitting at 3-6 with a rookie quarterback, Tennessee will see plenty of favorable game scripts for the passing game. Spears has carved out a solid role and could wind up playing more snaps than Henry this season. Also, keep in mind that Henry is a pending free agent who is unlikely to return. Titans’ brass may want to audition their rookie back down the stretch for a bigger role in 2024.

Demario Douglas (WR) New England Patriots (5% FAAB) – The Patriots are on bye, so no adding Douglas won’t help you this week. However, Douglas is worth stashing where he’s still available. The rookie has led New England in targets in the last three games, including a career-best 35% target share on Sunday. New England is a low-volume offense with quarterback questions. But, Douglas is the clear WR1 and needs to be added in all leagues.

Tyler Conklin (TE) New York Jets (4% FAAB) – In his last two games, Conklin has racked up a 13% and 19% target share. Conklin has become Zach Wilson’s trusted outlet receiver. The two connected for seven receptions for 70 yards in Week 10. Also, unlike other tight ends streaming options available, Conklin sees a healthy 69% snap rate.

Jaylen Guyton (WR) Los Angeles Chargers (3% FAAB) – Guyton played 79% of LA’s snaps on Sunday, snagging 4-of-6 targets for 41 yards and a touchdown. Guyton had missed the first half of the season with a knee injury. But if Week 10 was indicative of his role, Guyton offers weekly WR4/flex potential while Josh Palmer remains sidelined.

A.T. Perry (WR) New Orleans Saints (2% FAAB) – New Orleans is also off this week, so a minimal bid for Perry is all that is recommended. Sunday was the first time all season Perry eclipsed 16 snaps. It took Michael Thomas getting hurt, but Perry made the audition count. He played 84% of snaps and caught his first NFL score. At best, he’s the Saints’ No. 4 wideout. However, if Thomas misses multiple weeks, Perry becomes fantasy-relevant.

Jamycal Hasty (RB) New England Patriots (1% FAAB) – Rhamondre Steveson is dealing with a back injury. It’s not considered serious, but the Patriots added Hasty from Jacksonville’s practice squad. No coach has made more of of another team’s castoffs, but Hasty’s potential role has me slightly intrigued.

Daniel Bellinger (TE) New York Giants  (1% FAAB) – Bellinger has seen three targets and surpassed 30 receiving yards in back-to-back games. That’s nothing to celebrate. However, tight end has been a disaster, and acquiring Bellinger would be budget-conscious. Also, looking at the 2023 NFL schedule, the Giants travel to Washington this week to face a Commanders’ defense that has yielded the third-most touchdowns (5) to tight ends.

Tanner Hudson (TE) Cincinnati Bengals (1% FAAB) – Another low-cost option. The Bengals are utilizing a committee at tight end. This isn’t ideal for fantasy football, but Hudson led the group in target share in back-to-back games. He’s hauled in 10 of those 12 targets dating back to Week 9. Fantasy managers who have been using Kyle Pitts or Jonnu Smith can acquire Hudson for next to nothing to fill in for one week.
