College Production
Dotson broke out in 2020 posting catching 52 passes for 884 yards and eight touchdowns. This was good enough to get him voted third-team All-Conference in the Big 10 by the coaches. He also excelled as a punt returner. He followed that up with a monster 2021 season catching 91 passes for 1,182 yards and 12 TDs, which was good enough for eighth-best in the country. The Associated Press voted him third-team All-American and second-team All-Big 10 for his efforts. He again showed out as a punt returner as well.

Fantasy Outlook
We have already heard him being compared to guys like Tyler Lockett and Diontae Johnson and even heard him called the next Tyreek Hill. No matter where he lands I expect him to be one of the top five rookie wideouts coming off the board in fantasy drafts this year. He’s a player that can have an instant impact in any system.
The initial analysis of him will project him as a big-play receiver with game-breaking ability. While this is accurate, I wouldn’t be surprised if he holds more PPR value than people anticipate. I like his hands and being undersized isn’t the hindrance it once was with all the rule changes to benefit the passing attack. His smooth route running and strong hands could make him a candidate to push for 100 catches if he lands somewhere without a clear WR1.
He is built for today’s NFL and no one should be shocked if he’s a breakout star and even ends up the No. 1 rookie wideout in fantasy. Tennessee could be an ideal landing spot as he pairs well with an accurate quarterback and big-bodied wideout opposite him. Green Bay could also be a dream situation for everyone involved
