Class 3A All-State rusher out of Center High School in Kansas City (MO), red-shirted one year at Nebraska-Kearney before transferring to Mt. San Antonio College (CA), where he racked up 1,480 scrimmage yards and 12 touchdowns as a sophomore. Again transferred to Arizona State where he played in just four games as a junior in 2020 before taking over as the Sun Devils' starter during his senior season. In 11 games with ASU, White put up 1,006 rushing yards, snagged 43 receptions for 456 yards, and produced 16 total scores.
