We are into the best time of the year for College Football DFS now as post Thanksgiving we get more slates and into December we will get the Bowl Season Upon us. You have to sometimes do a little more digging into who is sitting and who is playing this time of year but the outcomes a lot of times will be more predictable and beneficial when following the right match-ups each week.

Today’s contests on DK and FD aren’t great, but the games are.  We have 9 games and four of which feature close and higher totals above 60.   The games on this slate include:

The games that are in BOLD are the ones that I lean on the most for game-stacking in DFS and have the highest totals — all of which are in the 62-64 range.

KEY PLAYERS

QUARTERBACKS

Sam Ehlinger & Jett Duffey (Texas vs Texas Tech)

Ehlinger and the Longhorns have had a down year compared to the expectations that their program had coming into the season off a huge bowl win last year in New Orleans.  There have been injuries and just a lack of big performances against the upper teams, but this sets up for a classic Big 12 shootout with Jett Duffey looking good for Texas Tech and w/ the Longhorns at home I like them to finally have that huge 40 point game that we kept expecting all season long.  The only way they do that is if Ehlinger produces like he should and that will create a good spot for Duffey in a nice pace game on both sides.  Neither defense is good statistically so this game should have a clear path to a shootout.

Other QB:   Anthony Gordon (Wash St), Zac Thomas (App St), Bryce Perkins (UVA)

RUNNING BACKS

George Holani (Boise State)

This slate is not like most where we have had some stud running backs on it, and the best overall matchup RB is probably Max Borghi but for $7900 he’s just priced out of the spot I would want to pay for him when they’re gonna pass it a ton.  Holani is on a Boise State team who runs it 39 times per game compared to just 35 passing attempts and faces Colorado State’s rush defense giving up over 200 yards per game on the ground.

Other RB:  Michael Warren (Cincy), Otis Anderson (UCF), Darrynton Evans (APPST)

WIDE RECEIVERS

Devin Duvernay (Texas)

He has been the best and most reliable receiver for the Longhorns this season and between RB and WR he is the best pay up guy this week.

RJ Turner (Texas Tech) & TJ Vasher (Texas Tech)

Turner is a MUST play if Vasher is out and even if Vasher is in, he is a great play.  Vasher has missed a few games due to a suspension and is obviously a risk of not playing again this week but if he does, for $6,000 he will be the top owned WR in a fantastic spot.  He’s easily their most talented weapon and if he is cleared to go, then you play him.

Other WR:  Brandon Arconado (WashST), Easop Winston (WashSt), Gabriel Davis (UCF), Warren Jackson (CSU), Aaron Fuller (Wash), Kaylon Geiger (Troy), Trey McBride (CSU)
