Thoughts on the slate:
There are a ton of very good mid-range and value options at running back today in some games with lopsided spreads and higher totals. I would lock my running backs in first and then begin to build around them with receivers, which there are a few on the higher-end to consider.
Favorite game to stack:
Ole Miss vs. Memphis
With a total hovering around 67 and a spread of six favoring the home team Memphis Tigers, this game sets up to explode with some big plays from established running backs Patrick Taylor, Jr. (Memphis) and Scottie Phillips (Ole Miss) along with some big-play receivers in Damonte Coxie (Memphis) and Elijah Moore (Ole Miss), among others. Matt Corral is the starting QB for Ole Miss and comes in with a nice price of $7,200 while returning starter Brady White, somewhat of a dual-threat signal-caller comes in at $7,000.
Games to fade:
- Northwestern vs. Stanford
- Duke vs. Alabama: Much like Clemson the other night, I don’t expect this game to be close. While Travis Etienne still was very productive for Clemson the other night, he wasn’t a must-play as he was very low owned and there was plenty of other mid-range running backs to look at. I see the same situation for Alabama’s big guns today; high priced and simply better games to attack on the slate.
