These recommendations are based on a league using a $1,000 budget. Bid based on your league history as some leagues may be aggressive, while others might not spend as much. It’s Week 16 and if you have a need, it’s fine to spend all your money.
Quarterbacks
JOSH ALLEN – BUFFALO BILLS– Bid needed to win: $75-$100
Allen wasn’t very efficient again, but he was productive for Fantasy. After rushing for at least 99 yards in three straight games, he was limited to 16 yards on nine carries against the Lions, but rushed for a score for the third time in four games. Allen went 13-for-26 for 204 yards with a touchdown. Allen gets the Patriots in Week 16.
Running Backs
JAMAAL WILLIAMS – GREEN BAY PACKERS – Bid needed to win: $1000
Aaron Jones was injured early in Week 15 and didn’t return with a knee injury. He has a MCL sprain and with the Packers eliminated from playoff contention, he’s likely to be shut down. Williams played 86.6 percent of the snaps and got all of the touches in the backfield. Williams had 12 carries for 55 yards with a touchdown and caught four passes for 42 yards against the Bears. He will be the lead back against the Jets in Week 16.
ELIJAH MCGUIRE – NEW YORK JETS – Bid needed to win: $800-$900
With Isaiah Crowell out for the season, McGuire will be the lead back for the final two games. McGuire played 56 snaps and had 18 carries for 42 yards with a touchdown and caught three of four targets for 29 yards in a difficult matchup against the Texans. McGuire gets an easier one this week against a struggling Packers defense.
KALEN BALLAGE – MIAMI DOLPHINS – Bid needed to win: $500-$600
Frank Gore left Week 15 early with a sprained foot and he’s out for the season. Instead of Kenyan Drake taking over, it was Ballage. The Dolphins clearly have trust issues with Drake, who hasn’t been getting a lot of touches consistently and battled a shoulder injury. Drake had one carry for six yards and caught three passes for 28 yard on 28 snaps, while Ballage played 26 snaps and had 12 carries for 123 yards, including a 75-yard touchdown run against a good Vikings run defense. Ballage has a tough matchup in Week 16 against the Jaguars.
JOHN KELLY – LOS ANGELES RAMS– Bid needed to win: $500-$600
This all depends on the status of Todd Gurely, who is day-to-day with knee inflammation. Gurley was able to finish the game last week and it doesn’t appear to be serious, but Kelly is worth an add in case Gurley has a setback. The Rams have a great matchup against the Cardinals in Week 16. Justin Davis would also be in the mix if Gurley was out.
ALFRED BLUE –HOUSTON TEXANS– Bid needed to win: $300-$400
Lamar Miller left last week’s game with an ankle injury. If he can’t play this week, Blue would get most of the touches and D’Onta Foreman could be active. Blue is for those really hurting at running back since the Eagles are a tough matchup.
KENNETH DIXON –BALTIMORE RAVENS– Bid needed to win: $300-$400
Gus Edwards led the backfield in touches again in Week 15 with 19 carries for 104 yards with a touchdown, while Dixon had 11 carries for 48 yards with one catch for two yards. The Ravens play the Chargers and could be playing from behind, which means Dixon gets on the field more.
ZACH ZENNER – DETROIT LIONS – Bid needed to win: $150-$200
Zenner has seen an increased role the last two weeks and Kerryon Johnson doesn’t appear to be close to a return. Zenner had 10 carries for 45 yards with a touchdown and three receptions, one week after 12 carries for 54 yards with a touchdown. Zenner has a difficult matchup against the Vikings in Week 16.

Wide Receivers
For 14-16 man rosters
ROBBY ANDERSON – NEW YORK JETS – Bid needed to win: $800-$900
Anderson is back in the conversation as someone to consider starting in Fantasy. Anderson was quiet to start the season and exploded for 123 yards with two touchdowns in Week 5. He stayed quiet and had an injury, but has come on the last three games with at least seven targets. He scored for the second straight game against the Texans in Week 15. After four catches for 76 yards with a touchdown in Week 14, Anderson had seven catches for 96 yards with a score on 11 targets against Houston. Anderson gets the Packers, who allow the third most Fantasy points to wide receivers, in Week 16.
DANTE PETTIS – SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS – Bid needed to win: $800-$900
Pettis has hit double-digit points in PPR formats in four consecutive games. He has four touchdowns in the last four games and caught all five of his targets for 83 yards last week against the Seahawks. He has 32 targets in the last five games.
DAESEAN HAMILTON – DENVER BRONCOS – Bid needed to win: $700-$800
For the second straight game, Hamilton had seven receptions with Emmanuel Sanders out for the season. He’s not piling up the yards, but he’s reached double-digit points in PPR formats in each game. He had seven catches for 46 yards on 12 targets against the Browns last week and had seven catches for 46 yards with a touchdown on nine targets the week before and gets the Raiders on Monday night.
ROBERT FOSTER – BUFFALO BILLS – Bid needed to win: $600-$700
Foster had a season-high eight targets and caught seven passes for 104 yards in Week 14 and went over 100 yards for the second straight week with four catches for 108 yards with a touchdown. Josh Allen is looking for Foster deep and connecting. In the last four games, Foster has 105, 94, 27, 104 and 108 yards. The Bills should be playing from behind against the Patriots in Week 16, allowing Foster more opportunities to make a big play.

TIM PATRICK– DENVER BRONCOS– Bid needed to win: $600-$700
Patrick has 18 targets the last two games. He had five catches for 65 yards against the Browns last week and seven catches for 85 yards the week before and will face the Raiders in Week 16.
JOHN ROSS – CINCINNATI BENGALS – Bid needed to win: $200-$300
Ross has scored four times in the last six games despite a lack of yards. Tyler Boyd could miss this week with a knee injury and Ross would get more targets. He had five last week and caught one for six yards and he hasn’t had more than three receptions or 52 yards in a game, so he’s for those that are really desperate.

Tight Ends
C.J. UZOMAH – CINCINNATI BENGALS – Bid needed to win: $125-$150
He hasn’t done much despite the opportunity, but the Browns struggle against tight ends. He had six catches for 39 yards on 13 targets against the Browns in Week 12.
BLAKE JARWIN – DALLAS COWBOYS – Bid needed to win: $125-$150
Jarwin has emerged as the tight end for the Cowboys with seven targets in each of the last two games. He had seven catches for 56 yards against the Eagles in Week 14 and four catches for 45 yards last week.
MATT LACOSSE – DENVER BRONCOS – Bid needed to win: $125-$150
LaCosse had two targets in his first two games since taking over as the starting tight end. Last week against the Browns he was more involved with four catches for 43 yards on six targets. LaCosse gets a Raiders team in Week 16 that has been one of the worst defending tight ends and is an option for those desperate at tight end.
