Back with 12 games tonight in the NHL and some pretty large contests on both sites…..

UPDATE:  Some updates because I am transparent with my analysis/picks…

I am in the $333 DK Q tonight and Along with the Sabres love, I am finding that I may end up punting completely on goalie.  Ironically, Carey Price, who I am normally not a huge fan of is too tempting at $7300 on DK.  The Hurricanes have a couple sharp shooters who should get off plenty of shots tonight, but Price does have the ability to steal a game, so dont be shocked if I roll with him as my DK goalie punt play.

STACKS

Buffalo Sabres … The Sabres have re-united struggling Evander Kane with Jack Eichel.  Imagine that, Kane is skating with lesser talent and he struggles to score.  Now he is back with Eichel on the top line and is also with Kyle Okposo who has been playing well with Jack of late.  The Sabres also are at home against Florida which is a great match-up.  With 12 games we should see Buffalo avoid heavy chalk as well today.  Eichel-Kane-Okposo-Ristolainen

Vegas Golden Knights … Second line stack of the night is Haula-Neal-Perron.  The Jets and Knights should have a fun game tonight with lots of speed on both sides and the Knights second line is the contrarian play here.

Florida Panthers … With Chad Johnson drawing the start for the Sabres, the Panthers are once again in a spot to feast on a bad defense and goalie combination.  I like both the Barkov and Trocheck line but for stacking I would roll with Barkov+Dadanov+Yandle.  Don’t mind Trocheck-Huberdeau combination as well as one offs.

Anaheim Ducks … This is a game that I think on a 12 game slate could be a high scoring back and forth affair.  The Ducks are a slow tempo team but the Senators defense is going to give them lots of chances to score here.  With the Ducks getting healthier in the second half I am expecting them to get hot and once again be a relevant stack team.  I love the Getzlaf-Rakell-Silfverberg combination tonight and really like Cam Fowler on D.

POSITIONAL FAVORITES

CENTERS

Jack Eichel … Top play on the slate for me.  Locked in.

Eric Haula … Mentioned the Knights FS2 as a sneaky stack tonight and Haula-Neal is the main combination to drive it.

Nazeem Kadri … Didn’t contribute in the Leafs dominance last night, but the Rangers have struggled versus centers lately and he should see good matchups as the second line on the road.

WINGS

Brock Boesser … Love the young kid who put on a show at the ASG weekend festivities and should light up a bad Hawks team tonight.

Evander Kane … Back with Jack!   Jack and Kane will be in 100% of my lineups tonight.

Jonathan Huberdeau … See below on Dadanov, these guys are both in great spots tonight against the Sabres.

Sebastian Aho … This guy always burns me.  You are being warned here, but I really like him

Max Paciorerety … Many will pay up for Patrick Kane tonight at Wing, but dont overlook Patch who has picked up his game over the last few weeks and scored against the Hurricanes last time they met.

Evgenii Dadanov .. A goal the other night and wings have done very well vs the Sabres.  Look for him and Huberdeau to both have good games.

Alexander Radulov … I like Seguin tonight against the Coyotes but find it hard to pay up for him, so a good way to get exposure is with Radulov.

DEFENSEMAN

Rasmus Ristolainen … Finish off the Sabres stack with Risto on the point.  Back to the well on defenseman vs Panthers.

John Klingberg … Stars are in a good spot, as I mentioned Radulov is a way to get Seguin exposure and Klingberg should be in play too.

Others to consider:  Dougie Hamilton, Aaron Ekblad, Cam Fowler, Jordan Oesterle, Erik Karlsson

GOALIES

Kari Lehtonen … Despite being on the road, Lehtnon is a heavy favorite and the Stars are a far superior team to the Coyotes.

Pekka Rinne … Not a high save volume game expected for Rinne, but a healthier Preds team in the second half should be tough to beat at home.

Keith Kinkaid … Devils win 3-1.  Gut feel.
